"Pumpkin Head."

"Maureen..."

"Pumpkin Head."

"Maureen, seriously..."

"PUMP-KIN HEAD." She repeated, staring at him.

Roger sat back in the chair, watching them. Maureen and Mark and had been sitting there for maybe a hour, at least, and she was still trying to come up with a nickname for Mark.

Mark didn't seem to like it so far.

"Maureen, stop. I don't need a nickname."

"Pumpkin Head."

"Seriously, why that?"

"Cos' you got a big head!" She said, not even smiling. She acted as if this was common knowledge.

Roger snickered and got a glare from Mark.

"Do we have to concentrate on my head?"

"What else is there to concentrate on with your big ol' head in the room?" Maureen asked, her mouth twisting as she stayed thinking intently on this.

"I really think Pumpkin Head is it. Roger? Agreed?" She asked, looking over at him. He looked as if he was coming down from a high.

"I don't know." He growled, rolling his eyes and then shutting them.

Maureen huffed. "Fine. Pumpkin Head. Big ol' Pumpkin Head. Kiss Pumpkin?" She asked, biting her lower lip. It didn't sound right.

Mark did as asked, however, and kissed her lips gently. "Um... Maureen? Something wrong?" He moved to tickle her sides, hoping to get her to smile and stop staring at him. It was really starting to freak him out.

"Don't poke me!" She snapped, pulling away. A nickname was a serious thing.

"Wait. WAIT! Poke... poky... poking... pook... POOKIE!" She yelped, now breaking out into a grin. "Pookie."

Mark's nose scrunched up. "Pookie?"

Maureen got on her knees on the couch and tried it out, "Kiss Pookie?"

Mark let out a groan. It was worse than Pumpkin Head. Still, he leaned in and kissed her.

When they pulled away, Maureen giggled and repeated, "Pookie."

"Mark?" Roger spoke up, "I think you've just lost all your dignity."

A/N: Very short, but I thought it was cute. I actually like "Pumpkin Head" for a name. LOL. Reviews are love.
