Truely Happy
"Kurogane…?" Tomoyo stirred, his name leaving her lips in barely a whisper.
"I'm here." A comforting hand brushed her cheek and she smiled sleepily.
"I'm glad you are." Small hands reached up to take his as Tomoyo's eyes fluttered shut.
In two breaths, she was asleep.
Kurogane watched her almost fondly, so serene in his arms. Moonlight kissed her sleep-flushed cheeks and dark lashes in innocent pride as ebony hair slid down her shoulders like a satin curtain.
Tomoyo was radiant, of that there was no question. But it was the quiet unassuming beauty of her actions that drew him most. She was the princess who was both regal and kind-hearted; the friend who cared about each and every guard's welfare; the miko whose endless prayers and sacrifices kept Japan from being overrun by evil spirits; the woman-child who had captured his heart…
"…I love you." Kurogane murmured suddenly, feeling light-headedly happy. "So very, very much." He bowed his head only to jerk upright as she nestled into him, face upturned to meet his gaze, eyes glowing in unspoken love.
Silently, she lifted his hand to her lips and pressed the smallest and tenderest of kisses before closing her eyes with a satisfied smile.
Kurogane embraced her fiercely, wishing that he could just hold her forever- feeling that, sure that, this was what being truly happy felt.

TomoXKuro foreva!
Was it alright though? I have many other ideas but if this one was worse than I thought, then might as well save my time right?
