I enter the lavish room, and even though I've been in here several times as ladybug it strikes me just how big the space is. I can't help but wonder if just Chloé 's room is big than my entire house. What do you even do with this much space?

"Hmm. Amazing, isn't it? I bet you wish your room was this big don't you Dupain-Cheng?" She sneers at me. I roll my eyes as I sit on a couch.

"Actually, I was just wondering what you could possibly do with this much space." I say gesturing to the high ceiling. Chloé looks around and to my surprise her cheeks go red for a split second.

"A lot more than you can with a bakery! Anyway, let's get to the point. What have you been bugging me about all week?" She asks crossing her arms and plopping down in the armchair farthest away from me.

"Well, like I've been saying all week." I begin unable to hide my rising temper. She squints her eyes at me daring me to say worse. "We need to tell Miss Bustier what kind of snacks we want to serve at the dance, so the school can order the ingredients." I say trying not to let my frustration show. The dance was just a few days away!

"Hmmph, well that's easy! We must get the most luxurious assortment of foods in, Paris!" She says smiling. She's completely satisfied with herself as if she's solved anything.

"I don't think the school can afford luxurious food Chloé . I also need you to be more specific." I say taking out my tablet to take notes on.

"Ugh! Why am I doing all the work?! What are your bright ideas baker girl?!" she yells, and I feel my eyebrow twitch.

"Well… I was thinking we could serve things that are easy to grab. Like Choquettes, or macarons or-"

"Those are all pastries! Are you just trying to bring in business?" She cuts me off, and though I know she meant it as an insult I can't help but laugh.

"Haha. You're right. I guess it's just because I have a sweet tooth and my parents have a bakery. All I can think of is pastries." I say and she seems taken aback.

"We-well think of something better then!" she says looking away. I guess she couldn't think of a good insult that time. So just ignoring Chloé 's attitude works sometimes. Interesting.

"How about you tell me some things you like to eat and we can go from there. I bet you've tasted more delicious foods than I have." I say hoping to butter her up. The only way to get through to Chloé is to pet her ego.

"Well of course I have! Hmm let me see. Cheese and crackers, oh and wine! That's always a classic." She says leveling a smirk at me.

"You've had wine before?" I exclaim without thinking.

"Once. My mother asked me to poor her a glass and I took a sip before I brought it to her." She says and though she delivers that news coolly she then looks around franticly see if anyone heard. I guess I shouldn't expect anything less from Chloé .

"Well actually that's a pretty good idea. We could have cheese and crackers. Instead of wine we could serve fizzy grape juice. That way everything looks sort of fancy!" I say jotting down the note on my iPad. Chloé doesn't argue for once and I feel like I've kind of gotten through to her.

We spend some more time figuring out the snack menu until we have a good list of options for Miss Bustier. At some point I even forgot that it was Chloé who I was talking to. Though her cockiness never went away, some of her attitude dropped, and she was easier to talk to.

"Well, I guess it's time for me to go home." I say putting my iPad away in my bag.

"Oh, already? I just mean that- I thought you would want to talk about nerd things for hours, and you would never leave!" She says looking away. I smile and put my backpack on.

"No, but it's been fun talking to you Chloé . When you're not being mean to me I think we actually have a lot in common." I say and then immediately regret it. I don't need Chloé thinking that I think of her as a friend.

To my surprise she sighs and continues to look out the window. I wonder for a second if she heard me. Then she says, "You and I are nothing alike. Well, what are you waiting for? Get out!" Before I can respond she shoots up from her chair and starts pushing me toward the door.

"Wait! Do you want me to send you the document?" I ask. She opens the door and shoves me out.

"Why would I want you to do that? Just turn it in with both our names on it." She says before slamming the door in my face.

What was that? I think to myself before hurrying to the elevator. As the doors are about to close, I hear Chloé scream from the down the hall. I hold the doors open with my hand and look out.

"Chloé ?!" I yell and within seconds she's running down the hall. She bursts into the elevator and yells at me to close the doors. I see a supervillain rounding the corner as I click the close doors button.

"What was that?" I ask Chloé . She's huddled in the corner with her hands over her head.

"What did it look like?! Someone's been akumatized!" She yells.

"Did they try to do anything to you before you ran away?" I ask crouching down in front of her.

"I don't know! Something about my hair! You're probably safe because your hair is horrible, but what about me?" She exclaims with tears in her eyes. I roll my eyes and the doors to the elevator ding open.

"Let's hide in different places!" I say.

"Wait!" I hear her yell after me, but I run out of the elevator hoping that she doesn't follow. I round the corner of the hotel and find a good alley way to hide in.

"This shouldn't take too long." I whisper to Tikki. She smiles up at me and I smile back before I yell. "Tikki, spots on!"

I meet up with Chat Noir on the roof top of the hotel. I haven't been able to find the villain that Chloé was talking about, but I hear occasional screams in different directions. The last one led me here.

"What do we have on our hands this time M'lady?" He drawls while leaning casually on his stick.

"Apparently there's a villain stealing people's hair? I don't know, I got the information from Chloé bourgeois." I say looking around Paris. I try to listen to for any other noises. I cant hear anything.

"Let's hope he doesn't try to steal my gorgeous locks. I just groomed it." He says running his hands through his hair. Chat Noir does have really nice hair.

"Or maybe that's what we want!" I say stepping forward and stroking his hair.

"Uh-um… as much as I love this…what do you mean exactly?" He asks. I can see a faint pink at the corner of his mask, and I pull my hand away.

"We're going to use your 'gorgeous locks' as bait for this villain. Come on, Kitty!" I declare and then cast off my yo-yo.

"I don't know if I like this plan!" Chat Noir yells behind me and it takes all my strength to suppress a laugh.

"Miraculous Ladybug!" I yell and magically Chat Noir's hair appears back on his head. He strokes it frantically and then pouts as he looks at me with tears in his eyes. I hand Mr. Laurant a charm and tell him that even if he does make beautiful wigs, I think it's important that the donor's hair is given willingly. He smiles shyly, thanks us, and then walks away.
"Was that really necessary!?" Chat Noir whimpers and I give him a crooked smile.

"I didn't expect his power to work that fast." I say and he turns away. He clearly doesn't find the situation very funny. "Sorry, kitty. I'll be more careful next time. For what it's worth, this just proves that you have the best hair in all of Paris." I say putting my hand on his shoulder. He side- eyes me and then faces me and smiles cockily. He's back.

"Well of course, M'lady. Pound it?" he asks tilting his head so that his hair falls into his eyes slightly.

"Pound it." I say meeting his fist with my own. As silly as it is, it just doesn't feel right to end a mission without doing it.

"Later, Chat Noir!" I say zipping away. I glide over Paris until I land on my terrace. Just in time. Right as I land I de-transform and Tikki lands safely in the palm of my hand. I give her a macaron and she grabs it with both arms.

"Aren't you going to go check on Chloé?" She asks between munches. I pause while opening my terrace door and look at Tikki.

"Why would I do that?" In all honesty I had completely forgotten that's where this whole thing started.

"Well, you were with her when the akuma attack started. Wouldn't you want to know that she's, okay?" Tikki asks finishing off her macaron and taking flight once more.

"I know she's alright Tikki. The miraculous ladybugs fixed everything, remember?" I say settling down on my bed. "Besides, I think its time we both get some rest. I haven't had good night's sleep this whole week, so it'll be nice to go to bed early for once." Without even bothering to change into my pajamas I turn over and fall asleep.
