Good morning everyone, and welcome back to Pokemon Kids. We haven't gotten much activity this week, but I am sure that it will change this week. Be sure to favorite and follow, Noah and I would greatly apreciate it. Now let's get started with chapter 5!
Narrator: It looks like our little heroes are on their way again. First, they saved Ruth and Boaz's Little Angels Bakery, then Iris got a temporary family, and now she's an official temporary big sister. But today, they are getting scorched by the Sun, but things are about to go swimmingly.
Pikachu: Wow, it's… (pants) getting hot out here.
Ash: (pants) You said it, buddy. (to Brock) Hey Brock, when are we getting closer to the next town?
Brock: (looks at his guidebook) Actually, we're heading for a beach called "Living Stone Beach".
Tracey: Living Stone Beach? That sounds like a perfect place to cool down.
Brock: It sure is, and listen to this. It says the beach has beach houses that are built upon the rock.
Vulpix: I may be a fire-type, but I wouldn't mind a chance to cool down.
Marill: Me too. I can't wait to spray Water Gun to cool you off.
Daisy: And I think we're on the right track!
Iris: Listen, I can hear the ocean waves.
They all listened.
Misty: You're right, Iris! I can hear them too.
Dawn: What do ya say, Piplup? Wanna build a sandcastle?
Piplup: I'm with you, Dawn!
Max: (squeals happily)
Dawn: It looks like Max is gonna help us too. (giggles)
Ash: Pikachu and I are gonna have fun in the ocean!
Pikachu: You said it, pal!
May & Iris: We're gonna splash around!
Misty: I'm going to catch a few rays.
Horsea: And I'm here to cool you off.
Iris: Last one there's a rotten egg!
So the kids, their Pokémon, and their babysitters headed for Living Stone Beach. They got their swimsuits on and rented fishing poles. Then they put on some sunscreen to protect themselves from the Sun's rays and they were ready!
Cilan: Me and Brock are going fishing on these rocks. Coming, Pansage?
Pansage: Yup, I'm right behind ya!
Vulpix: (nervously) Um, I think I'll stay here on the shore.
Brock: (smiles) I understand, Vulpix. You're a Fire-Type and Fire-Types are weak against Water-Types.
Vulpix: (smiles) Oh, thank you, Brock.
Brock: Here. Onix'll keep ya company.
Brock lets Onix out of his Poké Ball.
Onix: (stretches) Ah… This sand feels good.
Brock: Hey, Onix. Do you mind keeping Vulpix company while Cilan, Pansage, and I go fishing here?
Onix: Certainly not. As a fellow Pokémon who's weak against Water-types, I'll be more than happy to keep the newest member of our team company.
Brock: Thanks, Onix!
Vulpix: (runs up to the Rock Snake) Thanks, Onix.
As Brock, Cilan, and Pansage are fishing their lives away, Dawn, Piplup, and Baby Max are getting ready to build a sandcastle.
Dawn: I got my pail ready. How about you, Max? Got the shovel?
Max lifted up the shovel to show he had it.
Piplup: I'm ready to help too.
Dawn starts making the structure for the castle while Max begins digging.
Piplup: It's looking good. This castle is gonna be great!
Dawn: It sure will! (laughs)
Max giggled along with her. As Dawn, Piplup, and Max begin their construction, Ash, Iris, May, Pikachu, and Axew are in the water, splashing.
Ash: Right back at ya!
May: (laughs) Hey!
Iris: Good one, Ash!
May: Hey Iris, let's splash Ash together.
Iris: Good idea, May! What do you say, Axew?
Axew: Sounds like fun!
Iris: Great, let's do it! Hey Ash, we have something for you.
Ash: What's that?
May: This! (splashes Ash)
Ash: Hey! (giggles) Two against one, no fair!
Axew: Do you surrender, Ash?
Ash: (laughs) Yes. (to Pikachu who is floating in a green rubber ring) How are you doing, Pikachu?
Pikachu: (chuckles) This is so much fun.
As the three kids, Pikachu, and Axew are getting wet, Tracey was sketching some beach houses on the rock.
Tracey: Hmm… I wonder how people built those houses so far from the sand?
Marina: Hmm. Good question, Trace.
Misty: Y'know, I was wondering the same thing.
Horsea: Those people sure are good builders.
Marill: You said it.
As Misty was doing her tanning duties, she heard a man's voice calling out to her.
Voice: Duh, hey young lady!
Misty: Huh? (looks to see the owner of the voice)
A goofy man with a yellow hard hat, jade green sandals, had golden crazy hair, a pair of sea-green swimming trunks, and a white undershirt came up to Misty.
Misty: Who are you, mister?
Man: I'm Sandy Hutt! Beach construction worker, at your service. (guffaws)
Misty: Um, okay. What are you doing here, anyway?
Sandy: I'm going to build my beach house on the sand.
Misty: Do you have instructions to build your house?
Sandy: Aw, who needs instructions. I already know how to build a house without 'em.
Misty: I don't know…
Sandy: Anyway, I gotta go build my house so I can party! (chuckles) See ya!
Misty: Uh, okay… bye. He'll be in big trouble soon.
As Misty went back to bask in the Sun, Jasper heard the special weather report.
Announcer: We interrupt this program to bring you a special weather bulletin. Today, we're getting cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms only fifty miles away. So head inside your homes and stay safe. And now, back to our program.
Jasper: Uh oh… The announcer is right. We should all head inside where it's safe.
As Jasper told the other babysitters what he heard on the radio, Max, Piplup, and Dawn are making the finishing touches to their sandcastle.
Piplup: And… Done! That castle looks great! Good job, you two!
Dawn: Thanks, Piplup. You too.
Max: Yeah.
Piplup: Thanks, guys. I think you deserve a reward.
Dawn: Think so?
Max: Huh?
Piplup: That's right. You're gonna get a foot tickle!
Dawn: Oh boy!
Max: (squeals with excitement)
Piplup: Get ready. 'Cause, here it comes!
Piplup starts tickling Dawn's bare soles with his flippers.
Dawn: (laughs uncontrollably) That tickles!
Piplup: That's the idea!
Max: Me! Me! (giggles)
Piplup: Okay, Max. It's your turn now.
Max gurgled as Piplup tickled Max's cute little feet while Dawn took a moment to get her breath back.
Dawn: (gasping for air) Wow, that's fun! I can't believe you're tickling so much, Piplup! (giggles)
Piplup: Thanks, Dawn. I'm glad you're enjoying this. And so is Max.
Max: (laughs so loudly)
Eventually, Piplup stopped tickling Max so he could get his breath back as well.
Piplup: (smiles) Are you happy that you've got your reward?
Dawn: (smiles brightly) Yes, I am.
Max: (smiles) Yeah!
As Dawn, the baby boy, and Piplup were smiling happily together, Cilan, Pansage, and Brock caught something. Something big!
Brock: We got a bite!
Cilan: Quick, reel it in!
Brock: I'm trying! (reels it in)
While trying to reel in the fishing pole, Brock saw something he had never seen before. It was a Fish Pokémon called Magikarp. But it was bright red-orange with purple spots on it. Its' mouth could swallow a group of Wishiwashi. Its dorsal fin is spiny and golden.
Brock: WHOA! It's a Pokémon! But, what is it?
Cilan: I don't know, Brock. Do you know what it is, Pansage?
Pansage: Not sure.
Daisy: It's a Magikarp. It's the Shlomlitian Form in the Shlomlite Region.
Cilan: A Magikarp in Shlomlitian Form, eh?
Daisy: That's right, it can swallow small bits of food in one gulp.
Pansage: Whoa…
Brock: Now that's a hungry Pokémon!
Just then, they heard a man's voice calling out to them.
Voice: Hello! I can use your help right about now, are you available?
Daisy: Uh, who are you and why do you need us?
Man: I am Rocko Hutt, Beach house construction worker, at your service.
Rocko is a wise and friendly man who had a yellow hard hat, light brown hair, a pair of blue overalls, a pair of brown boots, and a red button-on shirt.
Daisy: Nice to meet you, Rocko. My name is Daisy Oak and I'm Professor Oak's Granddaughter and Ash's babysitter. Again, what do you want us to do?
Rocko: I'm going to build a new beach house on the rock and you and the kids are perfect to help me.
Brock: We are?
Rocko: That's right, and I'm going to add a swimming pool for the kids once it's finished.
Misty: A swimming pool? That's perfect!
Iris: I'll say!
May: I can't wait to start building!
When Misty heard Rocko's last name, she decided to ask him something.
Misty: Hey, Rocko, is your last name related to a person named Sandy Hutt?
Rocko: Sandy? (thought for a moment) Oh, yes. He's my little brother.
Misty: Sandy is your brother? Hmm… Do you have your instructions to build the house?
Rocko: I sure do! Without them, I would never build a house properly. So, what do you say kids? Wanna help me build this house and get in safely before the storm hits?
Daisy: Well, what do you say, kids?
Kids: YEAH!
Pikachu: Think we Pokémon can help?
Ash: Of course, you can help, Pikachu!
Pikachu: Great! Let's get changed and get started before the storm gets here!
The other Pokémon shouted in agreement.
Jasper: Okay, gang. Let's change out of our bathing suits and get dry.
Soon everyone was back in their regular clothes. Rocko got the whole team together to spot where they are going to build.
Rocko: First, we have to check if the ground is rock solid. (stomps his foot on the rock to check) Yup, it's rock-solid alright. Next, we have to dig the foundations and I have the Pokémon to do it. (brings out three Poké Balls) Bunnelby, Diggersby, Excadrill, come on out!
Bunnelby: (emerges) Bunnelby!
Diggersby: (emerges at the same time) Diggersby!
Excadrill: (emerges at the same time) Excadrill!
Rocko: Now you three, use dig to make the foundations!
Bunnelby, Diggersby, and Excadrill nodded and set to work.
Marina: Wow, those three sure are quick.
Misty: You got that right!
Soon enough, the trio of digging Pokémon had finished.
Rocko: Thank you, you three. Now return.
All three Pokémon returned to their respective Poké Balls.
Ash: What's next, Rocko?
Rocko: Now, we have to make some concrete for the foundations, young man. Do any of you have Water-Type Pokémon?
Marina: I do. Tentacruel, Psyduck, Starmie, come on out!
Marina's three Water-type Pokémon emerged from their respective Poké Balls.
Horsea: I can help.
Marill: Me too!
Piplup: Me three!
Rocko was surprised to see these Pokémon talk, but he didn't mind.
Misty: Just tell us what we need to do.
Rocko: First, I put the cement in this mixer. (puts the cement in the mixer) Now it's your turn. Tell your Pokémon to use Water Gun and I'll start mixing.
Misty: Okay, Horsea…
Marina: Psyduck, Tentacruel, Starmie…
Tracey: Marill…
Dawn: Piplup…
Together: Use Water Gun!
The Water Pokémon used Water Gun to pour into the cement mixer.
Daisy: Great teamwork, guys.
Water Pokémon: Thanks, Daisy!
Dawn: Now what do we do next?
Rocko: Now, we have to make a rough frame to build the walls. I also know the perfect Pokémon to do the job. (pulls out a Poké Ball) Timburr, come out!
Timburr: (emerges) Timburr!
Rocko: Timburr, carry these planks of wood to make the frame.
Timburr: (nods) Tim.
Rocko: Jasper and Dennis, I want you boys to help Timburr to make sure the planks are secured.
Jasper: Guess that's fair.
Dennis: (nods) Right.
So Jasper and Dennis helped Timburr to make the planks of wood nice and secure by hammering some nails into place. After a long time of putting the frame into place, it was finished.
Rocko: Excellent job, boys! You too, Timburr. Return.
Timburr: (nods) Timburr.
Timburr returned to its Poké Ball.
April: What do we add to the house next?
Rocko: The plumbing and the electric installation are next on the list.
Pikachu: I could help with the electricity. (lets a few sparks out of his cheeks)
Rocko: That's perfect! And Ash, you can help with the plumbing.
Ash: I'll try.
Daisy: I'll help you, Ash.
Ash: Thanks, Daisy.
So, Ash, Pikachu, Daisy, and Rocko installed water pipes and electrical wires to attach to the walls of the frame. After that, they put some plaster to cover up the wires and wooden planks to hide the water pipes.
Rocko: Great job, you three!
Ash: Thank you, Rocko.
Pikachu: Yes, thank you.
Daisy: Thanks, Rocko.
Rocko: And thank you for helping out.
May: So, Rocko, what do we have to do next?
Rocko: Well, we have to hang some drywall to cover up the boards.
April: I used to help my dad to cover the walls and floors at our neighbor's house back in the Sinnoh Region.
Rocko: That's great, April. Go ahead.
April then started to tape and seal the seams so they wouldn't be visible. She also covered the boards by using bricks. After that, the task was complete.
April: Well, that's done.
Rocko: Well done, April! Now we have to add some doors, windows, cabinets, and a final coat of paint.
Tracey: I can paint!
Daisy: Chansey and I will do the windows and doors.
Jasper: And I'll do the cabinets.
Rocko: Sounds like a plan to me.
So Tracey, Daisy, Chansey, and Jasper got to work right away. The doors and windows are in place, the cabinets are in the positions, and the final paintwork is all colored in.
Rocko: Great job, you guys!
Daisy and Chansey: Thanks a lot, Rocko.
Tracey: Thank you, Rocko. Phew! That's a lot of hard work.
Marill: Sure is.
Jasper: Thanks, Rocko. Up next is the furniture, right?
Rocko: That's right, Jasper. After that, we'll do the roofing.
Cilan: Good idea. (hears thunder and lightning) But we have to hurry, the storm's on its' way.
Pansage: You said it, Cilan!
So everyone got every kind of furniture and got it into the house in every part of each room. When that was done, the roofing was up next. Rocko and the babysitters got the roof tiles and puncture them into place. Onix helped by being a "ladder" to help them onto the roof. After that, the gutters were the final part and Marina was a big help.
Rocko: Magnificent, you five. You too, Onix. We're almost done with this beach house. Now, we have to decorate and add bathroom fixtures.
Pikachu checked on the storm.
Pikachu: We better do it fast. The storm is almost there.
Ash: Let's do it!
So everyone got the bathroom fixtures in the bathrooms and the house decorated inside and out. By the time it was finished, the house was beautiful and standing firm!
Rocko: We did it, everyone! We got the house finished!
Pikachu: And just in time, look.
Everyone looked at the sky and it was filled with dark thunderclouds and it looked like it was about to rain.
Brock: Thanks, Onix. Return.
Onix returned to his Poké Ball.
Vulpix: Think it's safe to go in?
Brock: Yes, it is.
Ash: Well, what're we waitin' for?
Pikachu: Let's go inside!
Everyone then went inside the house and locked themselves in to protect themselves from the storm. The thunder and lightning were a little scary at first, but the kids knew Jesus would protect them. Max didn't like the lightning. It scared him and he cuddled up with his big sister. May saw how scared Max looked and started to comfort him. Even Jasper.
May: It's okay, Max.
Jasper: Your sister's right, little buddy. We even sang a parable song back in the Hoenn Region. (to May) Remember that, May?
May: Oh yes, I remember that song. "The Wise Man Built His House Upon the Rock". How about it, Max? Do you wanna sing that to make you feel better?
Max: Uh-huh.
Rocko: Hey I remember that song. Why don't we all sing it together?
Ash: Good idea, that will help pass the time until the storm calms down. What do you say, Pikachu?
Pikachu: I say let's praise the Lord!
And with that, everyone began to sing this song. May was the first to sing.
May: (sings) The wise man built his house upon the rock,
The wise man built his house upon the rock,
The wise man built his house upon the rock,
And the rains came tumbling down!
Ash and Pikachu are next to sing the next verse.
Ash & Pikachu: (sings) The rains came down and the floods came up,
The rains came down and the floods came up,
The rains came down and the floods came up,
And the house on the rock stood firm.
Then it was Jasper's turn to sing.
Jasper: (sings) The foolish man built his house upon the sand,
The foolish man built his house upon the sand,
The foolish man built his house upon the sand,
And the rains came tumbling down!
Iris and Axew are up to sing to take the tune.
Iris & Axew: (sings) The rains came down and the floods came up,
The rains came down and the floods came up,
The rains came down and the floods came up,
And the house on the sand went SPLAT!
Max: (blows a raspberry)
Everyone laughed at Max for blowing raspberries by making the splat sound. Soon, everyone sang together.
Everyone: (singing) So build your house on the Lord Jesus Christ,
So build your house on the Lord Jesus Christ,
Build your house on the Lord Jesus Christ
and the Blessings will come down.
The blessings will come down as your prayers go up,
The blessings will come down as your prayers go up,
The blessings will come down as your prayers go up,
So build your house on the Lord!
May: Hooray! Are you feeling better now, Max?
Max: Yes.
May: (smiles warmly) Oh good. So, what do we do now?
Rocko: I know, how about we play a game to wait for the storm to pass?
Daisy: Sounds like an idea. Got any ideas, everyone?
Misty: I got one! How about "Guess What Pokémon Am I"?
Ash: Sounds interesting.
Brock: That sounds like a lot of fun. Isn't it, Vulpix?
Vulpix: It sure is!
Cilan: Let's play!
As everyone played the game to pass the time. It flew quickly as the storm began to calm down. As the game was ending, Misty looked out of the window.
Misty: Hey, guys, look! It stopped raining! (then notices something) Look at this! It's Sandy's beach house and it fell down with a crash! (laughs) But it looks like he's crying.
Marina: You're right, Misty. We better go check it out! Let's go.
So Misty, Marina, and the rest all went outside to see if Sandy is alright.
Rocko: Hey, little bro. You alright?
Sandy: (cries) I'm okay, but the house isn't. You're right, big bro. Without some instructions, my house wouldn't be built properly.
Rocko just placed a hand on his brother's shoulder.
Rocko: Don't worry, Sandy. I'll help you build a house. With instructions this time. By the way, why don't you help me build the pool for the kids?
Sandy: (surprised) Really?
Rocko: Really. C'mon. Let's get to work!
So the two brothers worked together to make the pool more beach-like for the kids, the babysitters, and their Pokémon.
Sandy: Sandshrew, Sandile, use dig to collect the sand from the beach.
Sandshrew: (nods) Sand.
Sandile: (nods) Dile.
Rocko: Bunnelby, Timburr, place the tiles in the pool.
Bunnelby: (nods) Bun.
Timburr: (nods) Burr.
It took a long time to get the pool ready, but at last, it was completed. Now all they had to do is fill the pool with water.
Rocko: Ready, little bro?
Sandy: Whenever you are.
Sandy turned on the water and Rocko began filling the pool. After a while, the pool is filled with water.
Rocko: (to the kids) Kids, the pool's ready!
Ash: Awesome!
Pikachu: Wonderful!
Brock: Let's get wet!
Misty: Hooray! Come on, Horsea!
Horsea: Right behind ya!
So everyone got into their swimsuits again and went to the pool for a swim.
Marill: Gangway!
Piplup: Cannonball!
As everyone was having a great time at the pool party, it was already nighttime. Rocko heard his stomach growl. He could go for some pizza right about now. So he went to the phone to order for himself and everyone else too. He finished making the order and hung the phone up.
Rocko: Everyone, I've ordered some pizza for us for dinner.
Iris: Sweet! I've been getting hungry anyway.
Axew: Me, too!
Pikachu: Oh boy! My stomach's going crazy!
Torchic: Mine too.
Rocko: The pizza will be here in a few minutes. So that gives you plenty of time to play.
As everyone was playing some pool games to pass the time, a bright light shone around them. It was Jesus showing up, smiling at the kids.
Jesus: Hello, my young friends.
Rocko and Sandy were surprised to see the Son of God at the beach house.
Rocko: Lord, is that really you?
Jesus: Yes, Rocko. It is I, The Son of the True Living God, Himself. And Misty, I am proud of you for standing firm on the Rock.
Misty: (surprised) Really? Me?
Jesus: Yes, I also have a scripture for you.
Misty: Well, that's perfect.
Horsea: Oooooh.
Jesus: In the scripture of 1 Corinthians, it says, "Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."
Misty: Wow… I guess it's from the Bible?
Jesus: (nods) Correct.
Sandy: Lord, I have something to tell you.
Jesus: What is it, Sandy?
Sandy: I didn't think I needed those instructions because I thought I knew how to build a house, but I was wrong. But thanks to those tykes, their caretakers, Pokémon, and my bro, I realize that I do need instructions to build a house.
Jesus: (smiles) I am proud of you, Sandy. You decided to listen to the wise sayings. And Misty, just like you listen to your mother, you listened to Rocko to follow the instructions to build this very house instead of ignoring him.
Misty: (looks at Rocko and smiles back to Jesus) You're right, Jesus. Anyway, thanks for coming to see how we're doing.
Jesus: You are very welcome, goodbye. (waves goodbye and disappears)
Sandy: Garsh, That Jesus feller is one great man. (guffaws)
Rocko: He sure is, Sandy. (chuckles)
Everyone went back to their pool party to wait for their pizza to come. They played some more until there was a knock at the door.
Rocko: I'll get it.
Rocko went to the front door to open and there stood the pizza delivery guy with six boxes of pizza.
Pizza Delivery Guy: Six pizzas for Mr. Hutt.
Rocko: Thanks, here's your money.
Pizza Delivery Guy: Thanks dude, enjoy your pizza dinner!
Rocko: I have a feeling we will. Hey gang, the pizza's here! Come and get it!
When the kids heard that, they got out of the pool, dried off, grabbed a plate, and got a slice.
Ash: Yes! I can't wait to sink my teeth in it.
Pikachu: Me neither. Come on, guys! Let's eat!
So the kids, their Pokémon, their babysitters, and the two brothers sat down and started to say their prayers before eating.
Rocko: Jesus, thank you for bringing these young children to help me build this house upon the rock. They've done a great job helping me today. Bless them, their babysitters, and their Pokémon, and bless the food to our bodies. In your Name, we pray, amen!
Everyone: Amen.
As everyone was enjoying a slice of pizza, Brock and Cilan had something in mind about Groubite.
Brock: Hey Rocko, Sandy?
Rocky and Sandy: Yes, Brock?
Brock: Cilan and I just saw a Pokémon called Groubite. Have you seen that before?
Sandy: Groubite? Oh yes. We saw that Pokémon a lot of times when I and Rocko were younger.
Rocko: That's right, Sandy. We gave that Groubite a PB and J sandwich to eat and gulp, we became good friends with it.
Cilan: Wow, what a great story, you two.
Rocko: Thank you, Cilan.
Narrator: Having a firm foundation on the Rock through the Lord Jesus Christ, Misty learns to stand firm through all life's storms and follow instructions from God. Not following God's directions could lead you into sinking sand. The kids couldn't wait to continue their adventure tomorrow. As the journey continues.
To Be Continued…
