Hello, everyone, and welcome back to Pokemon Kids! I hope you are all ready for another chapter, as this chapter has another co-writer in addition to Noah. This time, the writer is Azura, and her OC will be featured in it. And we will also meet some new members of the growing family and new enemies as well. Enough talking, let's get going!

Narrator: Today, our heroes are taking a straight path towards a new town for them to explore. They are filled with lots of flowers to smell and lots of Pokémon to meet. And they are about to meet someone who cares deeply for Pokémon.

Tabitha: Wow, Chespin. Look at all these flowers. Aren't they beautiful?

Chespin: You said it, sister!

Tabitha: (giggles) And they smell good too.

Serena and Lillie take a whiff of some of the flowers.

Serena: They smell lovely.

Lillie: You said it. (smiles)

Ash: Brock, where are we this time?

Brock: (looks up Town Map) We're in Florahill Town.

Mallow, Bounsweet, and Shaymin smell some of the flowers.

Mallow: (exhales) I bet I can guess why it's called Florahill Town.

Brock: But that's not all. There's an orphanage for Pokémon.

Iris: An orphanage for Pokémon?

Brock: (nods) Yep.

Ash: Well, let's go find out.

Pikachu: Right behind ya.

So the group went to Florahill Town to find the orphanage.

Shaymin: If there were any Gracidea flowers nearby, I could change into Sky Forme and see if I could spot this orphanage from the air.

Mallow was confused.

Mallow: You can do that?

Shaymin: You mean you didn't know? (realizes) Oh right. I guess I never told you.

Tabitha: If I recall correctly, Shaymin has two forms - Land Forme and Sky Forme. Shaymin can access Sky Forme when she comes into contact with Gracidea flowers. She only changes back to Land Forme if either nighttime comes, or if she gets cold.

Dawn: Wow! I didn't know that about Shaymin.

Mallow: (smiles) Well you're just full of surprises, aren't you?

Shaymin: (blushes) Thank you, Mallow.

Brock: Look, everyone, there it is!

Clemont: The Pokémon orphanage?

Brock: Yes, and Florahill Town.

Everyone looked to where Brock was pointing to.

Serena: (amazed) Wow, it's beautiful.

They keep walking down the path when they suddenly spot a building in the distance, it was a big house that seemed more like a mansion, it was painted in white and sky blue color and had a big bell tower and a sign that read on the roof: "Children of God, Pokémon Foster Home"

Lillie: It sure is.

Cilan: Let's see who works at this place.

Pansage: Yeah, let's!

So the kids, their Pokémon, and their babysitters went to the orphanage to see who worked there.

Tabitha: I'll knock on the door.

Tabitha knocked, and they waited for someone to come to the door. The door opens to reveal an elderly woman with auburn grayish hair wearing a lavender dress and low heel slippers appeared and walking toward the group of kids and their Pokémon.

Elderly Woman: Hello, young ones! My name is Flo and welcome to the Children of God orphanage.

Tabitha: Hello, Ms. Flo. We saw your orphanage…

Just then, a janitor came up.

Janitor: Hello, children, welcome to the orphanage. Welcome to the Children of God Pokémon orphanage, in here we rescue all kinds of Pokémon left by their trainers or lost and without any help.

Tabitha: Would it be okay if we came in?

Flo: (chuckle) Now, we can give you all a tour around the place If you like!

Brock: Sure, we'd like that.

Flo: (smiles warmly) Okay, follow me!

The old lady took the kids, the Pokémon, and babysitters on a tour around the orphanage of Pokémon, showing them some of the staff and many of the important locations such as the bathroom, and the kitchen, and the dining hall. Then she proceeded to show the dorms where the staff slept and then where the Pokémon slept and played.

In the last part, she led them outside the building where she showed some special places for all the Pokémon of all types to play around with. A playground, a pool, a training area, and last, she led them toward a chapel that was in the courtyard.

Lillie: Wow. This is quite a place you have. Almost reminds me of Aether Paradise back home.

Flo: (smiles) Why thank you, my dear! Then come with me.

Flo guided the kids inside the church where there was a chorus practicing their singing in a row was a Young woman with brown hair and green eyes, wearing a pink t-shirt and pants. She was hearing the chorus sing.

Flo: This church is where we held the celebrations and we thank god for all the Pokémon that manage to be saved from the cruel hands of those who mistreated them.

April: Wow…

Flo: (smiles) Do you like the chapel? I came up with the idea

Tracey: I see. I gotta make some sketches of this.

Flo: Do it as you like, and as for the rest of you, would you like to come to pray with me just to thank God for letting you guys get safe and sound here?

Serena: How about it, Ash?

Ash: That's a great idea. Let's go, Pikachu.

Pikachu: Right behind ya.

Flo led the kids and Pokémon into one row that was in front of the sitters and they started to pray their thanks to God.

Flo: Lord, we thank you for helping us find these abandoned Pokémon and bring them here to safety. And thank you for bringing these people here to the orphanage so we can praise your name. In your Name, we pray, Amen.

Others: Amen.

The girl in front of them then turns around and sees the kids and the old lady.

Young woman: Grandma? (surprised)

The old lady looks up to the girl.

Flo: Oh, hello Azura! I wasn't expecting you to come here.

Azura: I got finished and now I'm taking a rest. (sees the kids) Oh hello! My name is Azura Sky Celest, but you can call me Azura. And I guess you have already met my grandma. (points at Flo, smiling)

Daisy: Nice to meet you.

Ash: My name is Ash and this is my friend, Pikachu.

Pikachu: Hi!

And so on the rest of the kids introduced themselves to her and she became more familiar with the kids.

Azura: Well, it's very nice to meet you all!

Pikachu: Thank you!

Azura came toward Pikachu, curious.

Azura: By the way, how is it that you can talk? It's quite impressive!

Pikachu: Well, Jesus blessed me by doing a miracle.

Azura was stunned by what Pikachu just said.

Azura: Really?! That... Jesus?

Pikachu: That's right, and I'm not the only one who can talk.

The other Pokémon demonstrated that they too could talk.

Azura: I see! Well, and What brings you all to this place?

Brock: We came to see some Pokémon getting adopted.

Azura: (smiles) Well, you're just in luck! We happen to have some newly arrived pokemon that we want to get adopted. Grandma, May I take the kids to see the Pokémon?

Flo: Sure thing, dear! I'll leave you up to the kids now I must go but We'll see you inside. Okay?

Everyone: Okay!

The grandma left the kids with Azura who took them out of the church and then proceeded to take them to where the new Pokémon were.

Azura: Here we are!

Azura showed them a part of the garden where all the Pokemon gathered and played together. It was Recess so it was obvious for the Pokemon to be playing.

Azura: These are some of the Pokémon that we brought here from many parts and in different conditions.

Clemont: You must be kept busy then.

Azura: Yes, and there are so many m-

Man 1: HEY!

Azura turned around at that annoying shout and saw a pair of men who seemed to be one younger and one older than the other, both wearing some working uniforms. One of them was shouting and the other one was just smiling.

Azura: Oh, hi Charles! (sweat drops, nervous)

Charles: Where have you been?

Azura: Um, what? I was taking a rest.

Charles: You need to help in the kitchen!

Azura: But I was gonna-

Man 2: We need your help, besides you can leave these kids to go around and do whatever they want, it's not like they are gonna do something important either.

Togedemaru: (whispers) Now that's just rude.

Daisy: What did you say?!

Tabitha: Yeah, you can't talk that way.

Charles: And who are you?

Tabitha: A bunch of kids who've actually helped a lot of people.

Brock: Exactly!

Charles: (scoffs) Look we worked here for almost the past 10 years and we can tell that these kids are just here to play with the Pokémon and not adopt!

Norman came closer to his companion and nodded.

Norman: Even sometimes we see kids treating those Pokémon like nothing but toys! So we can assume these kids got nothing on their heads but play with them, right?

Gladion: (enraged) Is that all we are to you?!

Marina: He's right! You can't talk like that.

Norman and Charles: Yes, we can! (grin)

Azura then tried to ease things up a little.

Azura: Would you stop it? Please, I will go and do whatever you want, just leave them alone and don't insult them!

Norman eyes the babysitters and then the children, he glared at them and scoffed.

Norman: (sighs) Fine! We need you to do this for us.

Charles: So do it quickly before we come back!

They both handed her a very large list full of chores, the list even barely touched the floor which confused and surprised the kids along with the Pokémon and sitters.

Azura: Wow! This is a lot for one person, how come you leave me to do this alone? (to Charles and Norman)

Charles: Sorry, but not our problem. Later! (leaves along with Norman)

Azura: Sorry about those two, you guys. They can be pretty annoying sometimes.

Azura apologized as she took another look at the list of chores and many of them were even harder than for just one person. Ash got closer and saw how large the list was

Ash: Holy Miltank, that's a lotta chores.

Azura: (sighs) yes, and some of them are not even out of place. I don't wash the windows and neither do I have to paint the roof! These are new to me and those are for professionals.

Daisy: You don't do that?

Azura shook her head.

Azura: I just got to work here last week. I'm a novice.

Dawn: Who told you that?

Azura: Sorry, I just don't do these kinds of things on the list like the other people who work here. (sighs, looking down) And these two put me through the hardest chores to have.

Max: Meanies! (blows a raspberry)

Bonnie: Yeah! (blows a raspberry)

Azura giggles at the baby boy's remark.

Azura: You're very right! Meany is a perfect word! But anyway I better get this done or otherwise, I will be in trouble... Have fun! (Azura walks away)

Kids: We will.

Serena: (sighs) Azura sounds like she's in a bit of a Cinderella story.

Tabitha: Guys, there's something I have to do.

Ash: What do you mean?

Tabitha: I have to talk to Flo about Norman and Charles. What they're doing with Azura just isn't right.

Daisy: You're gonna tell on them, right?

Brock left them while they went playing with the Pokémon. Meanwhile, Azura went to the laundry to pick up the clothes they ordered and then went to the kitchen to wash the dishes. After she did some of the other chores they assigned her she then went to the courtyard and had to put to dry the clothes.

Azura: Well, that's halfway done... Now I must continue (sighs, looks up at the chapel)

Azura felt the urge to go there, feeling a bit lonely. She entered and as she heard the chorus sing, feeling inspired by them.

When the chorus finished she then decided to sing too, she got up from her seat and walked while singing a song her grandma taught her:

"I don't know if you can hear me

Or if you're even there

I don't know if you would listen

To a gypsie's prayer

Yes I know I'm just an outcast

I shouldn't speak to you

Still I see your face and wonder

Were you once an outcast too?"

The chorus of Pokémon hearing her song heard her closely and decided to join her.

"God help the outcasts

Hungry from birth

Show them the mercy

They don't find on Earth

God help my people

We look to you still

God help the outcasts

Or nobody will"

As she sang the Pokémon chorus sang as the background singers while Azura continued:

"Some ask for wealth

Some ask for fame

Some ask for glory to shine on their names

Some ask for love they can possess

Some ask for God and his angels to bless them"

"I ask for nothing

I can get by

But I know so many

Less lucky than I

Please help my people

The poor and downtrod

I thought we all were

The children of God?"

She then came close to the Pokémon and sang the last sentence with them.

"God help the outcasts

Children of God"

Then the Pokémon cheered for Azura. Azura smiles and then kneeled to hug the Pokémon, thanking them.

Azura: Maybe mom and dad are away but I still have my grandma. Besides, I have to wait just a few more weeks and I'll be back home...

Misty: We've heard everything, Azura.

It turns out Misty, Marina, and Daisy were hearing her singing and they left the kids playing with the Pokémon at the playground.

Azura: You did?

Misty: Yeah. It's not fair the way those creeps are treating you.

Marina: They deserved to be punished. By the way, I think your singing is beautiful.

Azura couldn't help but blush, but something else caught her attention.

Azura: Where are the others?

Daisy: The kids are playing with the Pokémon and Tabitha is talking to your grandmother.

This last thing confused Azura a little bit.

Azura: My grandma? Why?

Marina: She's talking about Norman and Charles and their naughty ways of getting you into trouble and taking the blame.

Azura: (surprised) Oh is she?

Everyone then hears a loud explosion.

Misty: What was that?

Everyone went out of the church and saw three people breaking the wall of the orphanage and making a run for it.

It was Team Rocket! They were running away with some of the food supplies from the kitchen and the donation money.

Misty: It was you three!

The Team Rocket then looked at the kids and laughed as they ran away.

Jessie: Sorry little brat, but we got a flight to catch! (chuckles and runs away)

Azura: Who are they? Oh no! The donations from the orphanage are there and If I don't get them back the place will be closed! I have to stop them (runs after them)

Azura then ran away after the goons, leaving the kids and the babysitters behind…

Misty: Marina, we gotta help her!

In the forest, the three goons headed for their balloon.

Jessie: Stealing money is like taking candy from a baby!

Meowth: Okay, now here's da question... Do you remember where we landed the balloon?

James: Yes, uh…

Jessie: (annoyed) Did you forget where you hid it, James?

James: Of course not! I remember putting it with a big pine tree that was... Uh... There, no, uh...

Meowth: Ya don't remember do ya?

James: I'm afraid not.

Jessie growled before grabbing him by the collar.

Jessie: How are we supposed to make a grand exit without our balloon?!

James: (nervously) I'm sorry, I AM SORRY!

Just then, Meowth noticed something. He saw the rope that tied their balloon to the ground was cut off and flew away

Meowth: (shocked) WHAT?!

Meanwhile, Azura was walking around the pine tree forest but got lost.

Azura: Was it there... Or there? (thinking)

Now Azura didn't know what to do next. The girl sat on the ground in defeat, sighing.

Azura: What am I gonna do?

Azura looked up and saw the balloon of Team Rocket flying away in the sky.

Azura: They're getting away.

Suddenly a noise comes from the blushes and Jessie and James are running to catch where the balloon was going but they stopped when they noticed the girl who had just gotten off the ground, undusting herself.

Azura: You?... But, where…

Meowth: Uh oh...

Azura: You stole my grandma's donations and we need them for the orphanage, so please give it back!

Meowth: Fat chance!

Azura: But all of those Pokémon need that money and we had to work hard to earn it! Aren't you ashamed?!

Jessie: Of course not.

James: We're bad guys. It's what we do.

Azura then took out one Pokéball from her pocket and threw it.

Azura: Come out, Houndour! (throws the ball and a Houndour comes out)

Houndour: (howls) Hound!

Azura: Please Houndour, help me! Let's take the donations back from those goons!

Houndour: (nods) Hound.

Meanwhile, the kids and the babysitters were looking for Azura and Team Rocket.

Ash: Azura!

Pikachu: Where are you?

As they searched, Shaymin came across some flowers. Sniffing them, there suddenly came a strange sensation in her body.

Fennekin: Hey, look! Something's up with Shaymin.

Mallow and Bounsweet looked and saw that Shaymin had changed shape. Rather than looking like a hedgehog, Shaymin now looked like a canine of sorts.

Shaymin: Oh yeah! (flies up into the sky)

Mallow: Bounsweet, did you see that?

Bounsweet: I sure did.

Then a huge boom of fire was heard from the forest. A scream from a woman was heard and there was another one, who exclaimed "I'm sorry!".

Shaymin: (to Mallow) Don't worry. Now that I'm in Sky Forme, I can fly ahead and see what's happened.

Shaymin flew to see where the sound came from, and the others followed.

Axew: Is that…

Everyone: Azura!

Shaymin: Yeah. It's her alright!

Azura: Kids! What are you doing here?

Misty: We came to help you!

May: (points) Look, there's the old lady!

Jessie: (angrily) Stop calling me an old lady!

Jessie had her outfit ruined and her hair burned so much you could barely see the pink of it. And to say she was mad was an understatement, she was ravishing mad, screaming when she noticed her reflection in a puddle of water, and her anger was targeted at not only her teammates who were trying to calm her down, but at Azura as well since it was her Houndour who caused it.

Misty: Hey, nice look, old lady. But it's too late for Halloween.

The girls laughed at Misty's joke.

Azura: A sorry it's as much as I can give you! (looks down, feeling bad)

Jessie: (angry) Shut up, you idiot!

Azura: Hey, who are you calling idiot, idiot?

Marina: And this is why it's hard to take those stooges seriously as villains.

Ash: Looks like it's time for a battle. Right, Pikachu?

Pikachu: Right!

Ash's Charmander: Count me in, too!

Azura: Alright Houndour, let's help them!

Houndour: (growls in agreement)

Azura: You kids ready?

Ash: Always.

Jessie and James both brought out Ekans and Koffing.

Ekans: Ekansssss!

Koffing: Koffinnnng!

Jessie: Well, what're you waiting for, Meowth?

James: Get in there.

Meowth: Me? (realizes) Oh, right. I'm a Pokémon, too. (stands ready)

Pikachu: You buffoons are in trouble now.

Meowth: (brings out his claws) Ha! When I'm done wit' you, mouse, you're gonna regret not joinin' us when ya had da chance.

Pikachu: (scoffs) Doubt it.

Jessie and James: Come out, you guys!

Suddenly, two dark figures emerge from the bushes. The two figures were Norman and Charles.

Azura: (surprised) What?! Charles and Norman?

Serena: What're you creeps doing here?

Norman: Sorry kids, but these two threatened to tell on us unless we give them what they want!

Azura was shocked to see them and Houndour was growing angrily at them.

Ash: How could you?!

Dawn: You pinheads are nothing but trouble!

Charles: Oh shut up, you brat! We just wanted to protect a place like this one. (points at Azura)

Azura: What?! That's called double-crossing!

May: Yeah!

Charles: Shut up! You have the right to remain silence

Azura: (annoyed) We will be the ones who'll silence you!

Iris: Yeah, leave us alone!

Charles: Sorry, but a deal is a deal!

Voice: Oh no, you don't!

Everyone turns around and sees someone familiar.

Azura: Tabitha! Grandma!

Charles and Norman stood in shock. However, Team Rocket decided they had enough.

Meowth: No more bein' ignored.

Jessie and James: Let's get 'em!

James: Koffing, use Smokescreen!

The kids got clouded by the attack. Shaymin used her powers to suck in the Smokescreen.

Mallow: Way to go, Shaymin!

Azura takes out a Poké Ball and it comes out a Squirtle

Azura: Okay, Silvermist! Please we need your help, clear the view

Silvermist: Squirtle!

Silvermist uses her Water Gun to clear the smoke, making the smoke go away with the water.

Azura: Nice work, Silvermist.

Jessie: I will get you fools for ruining my hair! Ekans use poison sting!

Her Ekans did as he told and it got to harm Silvermist and Azura's Houndour.

Azura: Oh no! (kneels to her Pokémon)

Jessie: Alright, payback time! Ekans, use Poison Jab on her!

Tracey: Marill, use Bubble Beam!

Kiawe: Charmander, use Flamethrower!

Marill: Bubble Beam!

Kiawe's Charmander: Flamethrower!

Jessie: Drat!

Ash: Okay Pikachu, now's our chance, use Thunderbolt!

Pikachu: You got it. Thunderbolt!

Ash's Charmander: Let's give 'em more of a hotfoot. Ember!

Shaymin: And I'll add in an Energy Ball for good measure. Energy Ball!

Jessie, James, and Meowth: Uh-oh…

The attacks combined and made a direct hit at Team Rocket, causing an explosion.

Team Rocket: WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN! (ding)

Charles: Norman, shall we show these brats who we really are? (guffaws)

Norman: Certainly.

As they took off their orphanage clothing, their clothing was black and white with a picture of a serpent.

Tabitha: Who are you, guys?!

Norman: We're members of Team Sin!

Ash: Who?

Norman: Team Sin, an evil organization to sin against God and Jesus!

Ash: Why that's terrible!

Pikachu: That's why you pretended to be hired at the orphanage.

Norman: Yeah, but our plan was ruined when this woman and these children pests came along!

Misty: Hey!

Tabitha: So aside from the Stupid Stooges, we now have to deal with Dumb and Dumber?

Chespin: So, just so we're clear when we're referring to Dumb and Dumber, are we referring to Charles and Norman there?

Tabitha: Naturally.

Chespin: Gotcha. (winks)

Charles: (insulted) Who're you calling dumb?

Norman: (insulted) Yeah, and who's dumber?

Tabitha: You are!

Charles: You'll pay for insulting us, brat!

Norman: Yeah. Not even your so-called God can save you from us!

Tabitha: Oh, yes He can! Because we will cast all of our cares on Him because He cares for us.

Azura stared at Tabitha in amazement.

Chespin: She's right, and with God's help, we will win!

Tabitha: Chespin, grab those bad guys with Vine Whip!

Chespin: You got it, T. Vine Whip!

Two vines sprang forth and Chespin grabbed Charles and Norman and squeezed them tightly.

Norman: Hey!

Charles: Let us go!

Tabitha: Chespin?

Chespin: Yeah?

Tabitha: Toss them up!

Chespin: (smirks) You got it, girl!

And with that, Chespin twirled the two Team Sin Members so fast and tossed them up into the air.

Charles and Norman: WHOA!

Tabitha: What goes up…

Chespin: Must come down.

A couple of screams can be heard from Norman and Charles, falling. They could be heard groaning in pain.

Charles: (groans) You may have won this time. But we'll be back!

Suddenly, two Pokémon came out of Charles and Norman's Poké Balls. It was a Sableye and an Ursaring. They must have heard everything and got tired of those two bossing them about.

Norman: Sableye.

Charles: Ursaring. What's going on here?

Ursaring and Sableye just stared at their former trainers disapprovingly.

Norman: Why are you shaking your heads like that?

Charles: Go back to your Poké Balls. Now!

But the two Pokémon shook their heads no and started to attack them. The two men screamed and could be heard begging pleading for the two Pokémon to stop.

Azura: It looks like these two didn't want to work for Team Sin anymore.

Houndour: (nods) Hound.

Pikachu: They must've decided to do good instead.

Ash's Charmander: You're probably right, Pikachu.

Ash: Go get 'em, you two!

After a moment, Charles and Norman could be seen running away from Ursaring and Sableye.

Charles and Norman: You brats'll pay for this!

The two Pokémon high-five each other after their enemies are out of sight.

Brock: Well, that takes care of those creeps.

Tabitha: And we got the donations back!

Vulpix: That's a relief.

Flo: Thank you so much, children. I think you deserve a reward.

Serena: You don't have to do that, ma'am.

Flo: Oh, you do now, little lady. You're going to adopt some Pokémon.

Kids: We are?

Flo: Oh yes. Come with me back to the orphanage.

They soon returned to the orphanage and saw all the young Pokémon there.

Tabitha: How are we supposed to choose, ma'am?

Ash: Yeah, I mean, Are we supposed to let them choose us or something?

Flo: Oh, you'll see. (claps her hands) Oh Pokémon, come over here for a second.

One by one, each of the Pokémon came over.

Pikachu: Oh my word. Look at them all.

There was a Treecko, Pancham, Geodude, Audino, Venonat, Swablu, Pachirisu, Gible, Helioptile, Cleffa, Squirtle, Sobble, and a Yamper. And Azura was holding a Pokémon Egg with a red and blue pattern.

Serena: Aw, a Pokémon Egg.

Misty: Is it gonna get adopted?

Azura: That's right, Misty. This egg will go with you.

Misty: Really? But which one of us will it go with?

Azura: (felt the egg moving) Oh, it looks like it's ready to hatch.

Serena: Oh my gosh!

Misty: Let me see.

Cracks appeared on the eggshell. The top of the shell cracked open and revealed Togepi.

Togepi: (yawns trilling) Priiii. (opens eyes) Toge.

Misty: (squeals) It hatched! It hatched! Oh how cute! (giggles)

Togepi looks at Misty.

Horsea: Aww, look at the little one.

Chloe: Aww… Hi there.

Togepi: Toge…

Serena: Aren't you a cutie?

Togepi saw the girls gushing over her.

Misty: Oh. Hello to you, too.

Togepi: (perks up) Toge! Toge-Toge.

Dawn: She thinks you're her mother, Misty.

Serena: I think you're right, Dawn.

Tabitha: It's a Togepi.

Brock: I've heard of them. Togepi is known as the Spike Ball Pokémon.

Misty: A Togepi? (turns to Togepi) Well, hello, Togepi. I'm Misty.

Horsea: And I'm Horsea.

Azura: Anyway, Pokémon, which of these kids are you going to choose?

Treecko went to Ash, Pikachu, and Charmander.

Treecko: (to Ash and his Pokémon) Treecko-Treecko.

Pikachu: Hey, there.

Ash's Charmander: Nice to meet ya.

Geodude hopped over to Brock and Vulpix.

Geodude: Geodude, Geo. (thumbs up)

Audino: (comes to Tabitha) Audino. (smiles) Audino, Aud.

Venonat: (comes to Tracey and Marill) Veno-nat, Veno.

Swablu: (flies to May) Swablu. (lands on May's head) Swablu-blu.

Pachirisu: (hops into Dawn's arms) Pachi!

Gible: (to Iris and Axew) Gible, Gible.

Helioptile: (to Shinx, smiles) Helioptile.

Pancham: (putting on sunglasses, poses to Serena and Fennekin) Pancham-cham!

Squirtle: (to Gary) Squirtle, Squirt.

Yamper: (to Chloe) Yamper, Yamper! (pants happily)

Eevee: (smiles) Hi there, Yamper.

Sobble hid behind Yamper, shyly.

Scorbunny: Hey, little guy. You okay?

Sobble: (shyly) Sob.

Goh: You're not the only one who's shy. I used to be shy too.

Sobble: (curious) Sobble?

Goh: When I see some people trying to ask me a lot of questions, I cry quietly.

Sobble: (surprised) Sobble?

Azura: Grandma and I have been teaching Sobble how to control his tears.

Chloe: Control his tears?

Brock: Sobble tears can be so potent that it usually causes other people or Pokémon close to them to cry as well.

Flo: When we taught him to control himself, he finally did it. He used it for comfort.

Scorbunny: Is that so, little guy?

Sobble: (nods) Sobble.

Scorbunny: Well, welcome to our family. (pats Sobble on the head)

As Scorbunny touched Sobble's head, a glow could be seen before the following words came out of Sobble's mouth.

Sobble: Thank you. (realizes) Hey, was that me?

Scorbunny: Yes. Yes, it is.

Before long, the other Pokémon who chose their Trainers had received the blessing of Jesus.

Cleffa: (to Lillie) Will you be my Mama? Please?

Lillie: (smiles) Sure, Cleffa. (picks her up) You can even be Snowy's little sister. Is that okay, Snowy?

Snowy: Why, sure. I'll even let her ride on my back if she'd like.

Cleffa: Yay! (hops onto Snowy's back)

However, it seemed that the only new Pokémon who wasn't talking like the others that much was Togepi.

Misty: Marina, how come Togepi's not talking like the others?

Marina: Hmm… Maybe it's because she just hatched. She is just a baby, after all.

May: That might be it. Max and Bonnie are still learning to talk, too.

Horsea: Aw, bummer.

Misty: Aw, that's okay, Togepi. Horsea and I'll teach you to talk soon.

Suddenly, Togepi just opened her mouth and said something that made Misty's heart fly away.

Togepi: Mama…

Misty: (gasps) Oh my gosh!

Dawn: Oh, isn't that wonderful, Misty? Togepi just said her first word.

Misty: Did you guys hear that? She called me Mama!

It was clear to everyone in the orphanage that Misty was very excited for Togepi's accomplishment. The Spike Ball Pokémon was barely a day old and yet through the blessing of Jesus, she managed to speak her first word. Just then, a bright light shone on the Pokémon. It was Jesus.

Jesus: (smiles) Hello, little one. And hello to you, my young friends.

Tabitha: Jesus! (hugs Him)

Azura was surprised to see the Son of God, especially Flora.

Chespin: Guess You saw what Tabitha and I did today, huh?

Jesus: I did indeed. Tabitha, I am pleased with you today because you cared about everyone.

Tabitha: Well, I guess it comes from my mom being a Nurse Joy. She and the rest of my extended family are all caring people.

Jesus: That's true, Tabitha. And I have the perfect scripture for you.

Tabitha: Really?

Jesus: Indeed. It's from the Book of 1st Peter. The scripture says, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."

Tabitha: That's 1 Peter 5:7.

Jesus: Correct.

Tabitha: Is it because God cares about us?

Jesus: That's right.

Chespin: We all care for each other.

Misty: Jesus?

Jesus: Yes, Misty?

Misty: I wanna thank you for making Togepi my new friend.

Jesus: (smiles) You're quite welcome. I know you and Horsea will raise her well.

Azura: Lord, I can't believe you're here in our orphanage.

Jesus: Why don't you feel me for yourself, Azura? To see if I really am here.

Azura touched Jesus's cheek and touched His hands with her own.

Azura: Oh my, You really are here!

Jesus: (nods) Yes. And I am well aware of the grief you endured by those men.

Azura: Yeah, Norman and Charles are from Team Sin.

Pikachu: Um, Lord? Will people like them and Team Rocket not be welcome in the kingdom of your Father?

Vulpix: Yeah, I mean, we heard them say that they don't believe in You or God for ourselves.

Horsea: They spoke unkind things about You as well.

Jesus: Only those who repent for their sins will be welcomed by my Father.

Lana: Just like only the ones in Noah's Ark will be spared.

Jesus: (smiles) That's right, Lana. But remember, my young friends. For every sinner you may meet on your journey, there will always be more who believe in Me and My Father. (waves goodbye and vanishes)

Treecko: Curious. (to Ash) Does that happen all the time?

Ash: Yep.

Ash's Charmander: You'll get used to it.

Tabitha: Anyhow, thanks for letting these Pokémon choose us.

Flo: You're welcome, dears.

Audino: Well, I look forward to working with you and Chespin, Tabitha.

Tabitha: (smiles) Thank you, Audino.

Chespin: Welcome to the family.

Narrator: Caring for Pokémon and caring for people. God even cares for everyone and so does his Son. Now, with their newly adopted Pokémon, our young heroes congratulated Azura for caring for so many Pokémon. As the journey continues.

To Be Continued…
