As Nurse Joy brought Cherubrite to the emergency room, the little heroes waited for their little friend to get better.
Suddenly, Tabitha remembered Sally in Moonbeam City - the barefoot girl who wanted to start a Pokémon Daycare. She remembered Sally suggested she speak with one of her Nurse Joy relatives about helping Sally out.
Tabitha: Hey guys, you remembered Sally, right?
Serena: (nods) Sure do.
Tabitha: Well, since we're here, I could probably give my relative who used to live in Moonbeam City a call and see if she could help Sally with her Pokémon Daycare.
Chloe: Good idea, girl.
Brock: Yeah. You could do that while we're waiting for Cherubrite to feel better.
Chespin: (nods) Mm. He's right about that.
Just then, there was a beep from the emergency room.
Lillie: You think that means Cherubrite's okay?
Sophocles: I guess.
Mallow: Let's find out.
So the kids went to the front desk to see if Cherubrite was okay.
Tabitha: Is Cherubrite alright?
Nurse Joy: (smiles) Just follow me.
They followed after Nurse Joy to where Cherubrite was.
Nurse Joy: Your little friend will be just fine.
The kids and their Pokémon sighed with relief.
Tabitha: You have a phone here? I'd like to speak to one of our relatives who used to work at the Pokémon Center at Moonbeam City about helping a girl who lives there, by starting a Pokémon Daycare.
Nurse Joy: Oh yes, of course.
Nurse Joy then led Tabitha and her Pokémon to the phones.
Nurse Joy: There you are, Tabitha.
Tabitha: (smiles) Thanks. I'll take it from here if you don't mind.
Nurse Joy: Of course.
While Tabitha made the call, the others spoke with Cherubrite.
Ash: How are you doing, little buddy?
Cherubrite: Well, I'm feeling a bit better. But I still need to get to Mount Treble so I may sing the praises of our Lord and Savior.
Serena: Don't worry. We'll get you there soon.
Pikachu: She's right. We're your new friends, and friends help each other.
Pancham: If anyone tries to stop us, you can bet I'll be there to stop 'em. (smirks, cracks knuckles)
Cherubrite: You will? Oh, thank you!
Gladion: Of course.
Tabitha came back from calling her relative who used to work at the Moonbeam City Pokémon City.
Brock: Oh, hey, Tabitha. Were you able to get in touch with the Nurse Joy you mentioned who used to work at Moonbeam City?
Tabitha: Yes. She said she'd be happy to help Sally with her Daycare Center. And don't forget about Aurora.
Vulpix: Heh. Who could forget her? She's the friendliest giant I've ever met.
Chespin: Technically, she's the only giant you've ever met.
Nurse Joy: Excuse me, did you say "giant"?
Misty: Yeah. A girl we met in Moonbeam City.
Nurse Joy: Hmm… Come to think of it, I met a giant girl who is eight years old. Her name is Isies.
The kids and the Pokémon were suddenly interested.
Tabitha: Does she live nearby?
Nurse Joy: (smiles) Of course. She's quite a sweetheart, too.
Sophocles: Uh, just how tall is she?
Togedemaru: Soffy, it's rude to ask such things.
Sophocles: I'm just sayin' that since Aurora was 30 ft. tall, it'd be nice to know if this giant girl Nurse Joy is talking about is just big or not.
Nurse Joy: (giggling) Don't worry, Isies isn't quite that big. She's eight ft. tall.
Pikachu: Still pretty tall. A foot taller than Mama Kangaskhan, now that I think about it.
Ash: (smirks) I guess you would know, buddy. Having lived with her before coming to live with us and all.
Pikachu: (smiles) Yep. I guess we'll live happily with our happy family once we get back home.
Serena: If this Isies is as nice as Nurse Joy says, maybe she'd like to be friends with us, too.
Fennekin: Oh, I'm sure she will.
Tracey: Yeah. If Cherubrite is okay with it.
Cherubrite: Oh, I'm good with that. Just as God said, it doesn't matter what people think of who you are or what you look like. It's how you feel on the inside that counts.
Treecko: Really?
Cherubrite: Certainly.
Daisy: So, Nurse Joy, do you think Cherubrite is okay to go?
Nurse Joy: Oh, yes. He's good to leave anytime.
Cherubrite: Thank you, Nurse Joy!
Donzelle: (chuckles) It looks like he's totally ready.
Suddenly, Cherubrite felt his stomach rumble.
Cherubrite: Excuse me, but I'm starting to get hungry.
Sophocles: (rubs his stomach) Me too.
Togedemaru: (giggles) Oh Soffy.
Serena: I guess it's time for lunch.
Tabitha: I think you're right.
Pepper: I'm on it!
With that, Pepper went right to work on making lunch for both humans and Pokémon.
Pepper: There, all done! Lunch is served!
Mallow: Thanks, Pepper. O Lord, we ask that you bless this wonderful meal Pepper prepared for us.
Ash: Also, thanks for sending Cherubrite to us so we can be friends with him.
Serena: And please watch over us during our journey to Mount Treble. And in Your Name, we pray, amen.
Others: Amen.
Ash: Let's eat.
Pikachu: Yes, let's!
With that, the group had lunch together. And before long, they decided to head out.
Tabitha: (to Nurse Joy) Thanks for your time.
Nurse Joy: No problem. You kids take care now. (winks)
Chespin: You got it.
Tabitha: We will.
Ash: So, Brock, how far is Mount Treble from here?
Brock: Lemme see. (checks Town Map) Hmm… Ah… here it is. (points to the location on the map)
Just then, a giant pair of sandal-clad feet came by.
Female voice: Hello. Are you new here?
Ash and the others turned to see the owner of the voice. They first saw the sandal-clad feet before them. Then they looked up to see a purple dress and saw the face of the person it belonged to. It was an eight ft. tall girl with blue eyes, and blonde hair in a ponytail.
Iris: Whoa! Um, hi.
Giant Girl: (smiles) Hello there! I'm Isies. Who are you guys?
Ash and the others couldn't believe their fortune - the giant girl Nurse Joy mentioned before was standing right in front of them.
Ash: My name's Ash Ketchum, and I'm from Pallet Town.
Serena: And I'm Serena from Vaniville Town.
Before long, all the kids and Pokémon had introduced themselves to Isies.
Isies: Nice to meet you all. (pause) Say, how are your Pokémon able to talk like that?
Ash: It was because of Jesus Christ.
Serena: Yeah. First, he blessed Pikachu, then he passed on the blessing to the other Pokémon.
Isies: (excited) Really? Jesus? He's really real?
Pikachu: Of course, He is.
Ash's Charmander: We've seen Him for ourselves.
Isies: Wow, I'd sure like to see Him someday.
Lana: Really?
Misty: Are you a Christian, Isies?
Isies: Well… No. (pause) But I'd like to be.
Misty and Lana looked at each other and smiled.
Lana: Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Misty: Oh yeah.
Togepi: (curious) Mama?
Misty: You're probably wondering what we're gonna do, huh, Togepi?
Togepi: (nods)
Ash and Serena realized what Misty and Lana had planned.
Serena: (to Ash) I think we're gonna need a body of water for what they have planned for Isies.
Isies: Planned for me?
Misty: You'll see, Isies.
Lana: Is there any body of water nearby?
Isies gave a confused look.
Misty: Let me see… Ah. There's the Armor Pool.
Lana: That's perfect.
After a moment, the kids and Pokémon headed over to the Armor Pool, with a curious Isies following close behind. Upon arriving at the pool, Misty and Lana turned and looked up at the young giant.
Misty: There it is, Lana.
Isies: Yes…?
Lana: If you'd like to, Isies…
Misty: We'd like to baptize you in the name of Jesus.
Isies: (gasps in disbelief) Really? You'd really do this… For me?
Lana: Of course!
Misty: Just step right into the pool.
After taking off her sandals, Isies just stepped into the pool.
Misty: Horsea…
Lana: Popplio…
Misty and Lana: (at the same time) Use Water Gun on Isies as gently as you can.
Horsea: I'm on it.
Popplio: Me too.
With that, both Water-types let out Water Gun attacks which gently found their way up to Isies's face.
Misty: Isies, we baptize you…
Lana: In the name of Jesus Christ.
Isies: (smiles) Thank you, guys.
Misty: You're welcome.
Lana: Anytime.
Isies stepped out of the pool, shaking the water off her big bare feet. As she shook, the water drops started to land on Misty and Lana, causing both girls to giggle.
Isies: Oops. Sorry. (blushes with embarrassment) I always forget that I'm bigger than humans.
Misty: That's okay.
Lana: We don't mind a bit of water.
Horsea: Neither do we.
Togepi could be heard giggling as well.
Popplio: So do I.
Serena: (smiles) So, Isies, do you live here?
Isies: Well… I live with my parents. But right now, I'm staying with my uncle. The only thing is… he doesn't like praise music.
Chloe: He doesn't?
Goh: How come?
Isies: Because he thinks praising God is garbage.
May: Well, that's not right.
Brock: If your uncle is so awful, then why are you staying with him?
Isies: Because he has one rule. No music allowed.
Ash: Well, if you ask me, that still doesn't make it right.
Gary: I agree. I'd like to give him a piece of my mind!
Isies: I don't think you should mess with him. He's a mighty warrior.
Iris: He is?
Clemont: Just how tall is he?
Isies: 15 ft. That's the maximum height of most giants here in the Shlomlite Region. He also has a Shlomlitian Golisopod.
Marina: Shlomlitian Golisopod?
Daisy: I'd better look it up. (looks at the Pokédex in her Rotom Phone. Finds a pic) Ah. Is this it, Isies?
Isies looks down at the picture on Daisy's Rotom Phone.
Isies: Yes, it is. That Pokémon is a Bug and Fighting-Type. And my Uncle's Golisopod is a bit bigger than most Golisopod.
Misty: (stammers) B-B-B-B-Bug? (gulps)
Cilan: Just how big is your uncle's Golisopod? If I may be so bold.
Isies: Nearly as big as him.
Pikachu thought about Ash's favorite Bible Character, David.
Pikachu: Ash, does all this sound similar to the story of David and Goliath to you?
Ash: Hmm… Come to think of it, yeah. We can fight them!
Ash's Charmander: You can count me in.
Treecko: Me too.
Cherubrite: I hate to change the subject, but we should be getting to Mount Treble soon.
Ash: Oh, right.
Just then, they saw someone very familiar along with a boy with dark skin. The brown-haired girl has a Pichu.
Ash: Hey Pikachu, look! Is that Azura?
Pikachu: Hey, I think it is.
Ash's Charmander: But what's she doing here?
Serena: Maybe we should go and say hello.
Fennekin: Good idea, Serena.
Tabitha: (waves) Hey, Azura!
Upon hearing her name, the girl in question turned to see the group.
Azura: Oh, hey, there! (walks over)
Ash: It's so good to see you again. What are you doing here?
Serena: Yeah. Shouldn't you be helping your grandmother?
Azura: My Grandma said I should go sing on top of Mount Treble. (notices Cherubrite and Isies) Who are your new friends here?
Ash: Azura, meet Isies and the Mythical Pokémon, Cherubrite.
Cherubrite: How do you do?
Isies: (smiles, waves) Hi.
Azura: Hello. (pause) Hmm… You're a giant, aren't you?
Isies: Yes, I am. But I'm a friendly giant. My new friends even baptized me. (goes to one knee) I hope we can be friends. (offers a handshake)
Azura: (smiles) Of course. (shakes Isies's finger) Oh, I almost forgot. Chuck, come and see my new friends.
Pikachu: Chuck?
Azura: He's my friend and he has some Pokémon too.
Chuck: (comes over) Hello.
Ash: Hi.
Ash and the others introduced themselves.
Chuck: It's very nice to meet all of you. Azura told me all about you. (notices Isies) You're the biggest girl I've ever seen.
Isies: (smiles and blushes) Aw, thanks!
Sophocles: She's a giant.
Clemont: Well, giantess, technically. Since she's a girl.
Isies: Um… Ash? If you, your friends and Cherubrite are going to Mount Treble, would it be possible if you could take me with you? Please?
Ash: Come with us?
Serena: Why's that?
Isies: Well… My parents live there and… Well, I'm kinda scared of my uncle. And if he found out I've been baptized, he'll be even madder still.
Azura: Don't worry, Isies. We'll be there for you.
Ash: Absolutely.
Lillie: If your parents are as nice as you are, I'd sure like to meet them, too.
Max and Bonnie: Yeah!
Isies felt blessed to have friends who weren't afraid of her due to her size and were willing to let her join them on their journey to Mount Treble.
Isies: Thanks, everybody.
Serena: So, should we get going?
Ash: Good idea.
Pikachu: Yes.
As the heroes headed for Mount Treble with their new friends, they didn't know that trouble was following them.
Satan: Everything is going according to plan. Little Red Imp.
Little Red Imp: Yes, Master?
Satan: Is our giant friend ready to take those brats down?
Little Red Imp: But of course.
Satan: Perfect. As soon as that girl's uncle is ready, there will be no more of those snot-nosed kids. (laughs evilly)
