A/N: Wow, this is…random tangent time! As most of my readers counts…ok, as my three readers….know, I'm doing another fic, but I won't get into that…

This is a songfic-like thingy (don't really know what to call it) done with Breaking Benjamin's So Cold and FFX. Don't ask me, why, just R&R

FFX: So Cold

Crowded streets are cleared away
One by One

Tidus ran through the crowds, trying to keep sight of Auron. He didn't know what to do, but he did know that he wanted to be around someone he could rely on…especially in a tight situation. He bumped into someone, then the street cleared away, showing him a lone figure up ahead of him. Auron!

Hollow heroes separate
As they run

"You're sure?" Auron asked, looking up away from Tidus, whose collar he had grabbed merely seconds beforehand. He turned back to Tidus, said something he could barely hear, then all was gone.

He was alone and lost.

You're so cold
Keep your hand in mine

Tidus climbed back into the boat, glad to be away from Sin. However, as the monster approached Kilika Port, he wished he would be the one hurt, instead of all those people. Yuna grabbed his arm gently, almost freezing cold. He put his hand over hers, giving her what little reassurance he could.

Show me how it ends it's alright
Show me how defenseless you really are
satisfied and empty inside
That's alright, let's give this another try

Yuna finished her dance for those lost in Operation Mi'ihen, tears streaming down her face. Tidus could then see how difficult being a Summoner truly could be. He walked up to her as she began to leave, and then shook his head. There wasn't much he could do to help.

I want my journey to be full of laughter. Tidus thought for a moment, then, running in front of Yuna, smiled his best smile, yet still keeping the mood of sorrow around him. Yuna looked up from her feet and smiled back, nodding slightly to him.

Tidus knew it had helped, if only a little.

If you find your family, don't you cry
In this land of make-believe, dead and dry

Jecht! Tidus thought angrily as he walked out into the sunset around Zanarkand, seeing Sin just sitting there. He sighed, thinking about the events that had occurred before. He and the others had probably doomed Spira to never-ending sorrows with their brash actions. Tidus felt a tear roll down his cheek, then screamed in his head, I hate you!

Now, the only chance he had of seeing Zanarkand again was to keep coming back to the ruins around his feet.

You're so cold, but you feel alive
Lay your hand on me one last time

Yuna didn't get up, but he did nothing to help her. There was nothing he could do. He was fading away! He snapped back to time when Yuna shifted to stand up. Tidus walked slowly towards her, not wanting to end his time around Spira so soon.

Yuna tried her hardest not to cry when she felt Tidus wrap his arms around her, even though he was fading. She didn't want him to go! She wouldn't be able to…to live without him supporting her every step.

Once he had disappeared from sight, she dropped to her knees and cried, her life now forfeit.
