Oriana turned back to her 'human' form a week after. She was a little disappointed because she felt a lot more powerful in her other form, but Oden pointed out that she did ask him to train her before knowing about her powers.

Her training with Oden started out really hard. He made her run around the ship for, what to her, felt like hours. Then she was given a wooden sword to practice her new skill, but worst of all was the time he woke her up in the mornings.

The sun was barely shining.

It had been like that for months.

After 2 hours Oden decided to finally give her a break to eat breakfast. She had a small meal at the beginning of her training, but it was nowhere near enough. Oriana went down to the gallery to eat, but there wasn't any food yet.

Oriana went into the kitchen to look for more but saw Noki making something. "Oh, Oriana-chan. I overslept, but the food will be right up" he said before tasting the food. The girl's stomach growled hungrily, "You must be really hungry after your training" he chuckled.

"There's some yogurt in the fridge while you wait" he motioned for the cabin-like box. Oriana opened it and her eyes stared at all the food that was inside. Had this much food always been in there?

She started by eating whatever she saw, from the fruits to the sausages. Everything that looked delicious she stuffed herself with. That was until she bit down on something red, "What is this?" she said loud enough for Noki to realize what she was doing.

"Oi, what are you doing?" Noki junked her back and closed the door. "Do you want us to starve?" he scolded, Oriana's mind was still focused on the bitter thing in her hand, "What is this thing?" she tried to get the slimy yet crusty seeds away from her tongue.

"It's a vegetable called tomato," he said more calmly, "I don't like it" she answered and gave the rest of the tomato to him. Noki sighed, "Come, the food is about done" he took her hand to the counter and made her a plate.

Oriana took it and quickly went out to the gallery to eat.

Once she finished, she went out to find the captain, but her father wasn't in his usual chair. She looked out in search of him, "Where's daddy?" she whispered, "Pops isn't awake yet," Vista said. 'That was weird' Oriana thought and went over to the captain's room.

She didn't knock and just walked right in and hit something with her foot. She looked down and noticed a lot of bottles on the floor, "Daddy, what's all this?" her voice was so low. "Come here, Oriana" Whitebeard extended his hand to her.

Oriana went over to her father, and he took her up to his lap, "Today is a special day. It was a year ago you joined us, but it's also a day of great sadness. Do you remember why?" Whitebeards said and it was a side she rarely saw.

"Today is the day Mama died" Oriana realized shocked and leaned back against her father's arm.

"I don't want you to hide what you're feeling. Whatever it is let it out" Whitebeard said. Oriana felt sad but, "Daddy, mama doesn't want us to be sad. We found each other so we should be smiling too," she said as tears went down her face.

At some point, Marco came in with food for them when they realized that the father and daughter wouldn't be out anytime soon. They sat on the bed for the entire day talking about the one they both loved with great smiles on their faces and some tears in their eyes.

That moment made the two even closer.

One month later Toki was in labor with her and Oden's child. It scared her to know what women go through to get a child and she decided then and there that she didn't want that pain. But who knows what the future might bring. A few hours later a baby boy was born, and the crew was showing support by suggesting names like; Tamago, Kombu, Chikuwa, Tsukune all ingredients for Oden's famous dish oden.

Oriana giggled, 'Funny'

"Oi knock it off. He needs a better name" Oden said as he stood by Toki. Oden took their child and lifted him up into the air, "A name that conveys that he's invisible. Your name son is Kozuki Momonosuke."

"I'm not a child anymore" Oriana smiled, "You might not be the youngest anymore but you're still a child" Jozu patted her head. She pouted as she tried to slap his hand away, but soon their attention changed to something else.

"Oden-sama you have a bounty now. You've become a fine criminal. For the sake of Toki-sama and Momonosuke-sama shouldn't you return to the Land of Wano?" Izo said concerned. "Izo I still haven't found the answer I'm looking for" Oden replied. "We'll be fine" Toki supported.

The next island was a winter one. They've just defeated a group of people and stole their treasure; Oriana had never seen so much and happily jumped. Whitebeard realized that the crew was getting bigger and had an idea, "You want to appoint division commanders?" Oden questioned.

"Yeah, we are getting quite many new recruits nowadays. How about we split into 5 divisions?" the captain suggested. Some pirates volunteered for the position, "Oden you get the second division" Whitebeard said to the samurai.

Oden clearly didn't like that, "I don't want that kind of responsibility" as the samurai made his famous face of dislike which made the captain frown, "Just do it" he yelled, not giving him a choice. The pirates each took some of the gold back to the ship.

They didn't stay too long and just restock their supplies, and within hours they set sail again. While being out on the open waters, Oriana wanted to train her control of the water. She had been able to move it from side to side but nothing more than that.

She raised her hand and the water followed until a certain point. Oriana started to get frustrated with this. She knew it wasn't easy but at the same time didn't expect it to be this tough either, "I can do this" she shook her hands as she tried again.

The girl slowly moved her hands up and the water followed. It continued like that till she had stretched her hand above her head and could no longer get it any higher. She knew that if she pulled her hands down the water would fall.

Oriana leaned her body to the right and so did the water. What if she caught the water right before it hit the sea? Then she might manage to get it higher than before…

She was about to try it, "Oriana" someone called behind her. As she turned around, her concentration broke along with her training. She pouted as she turned around to see Rakuyo, "I was in the middle of something"

"I came to tell you that we'll arrive at an island soon to get our ship coated before heading to Fishman Island. An island at the bottom of the sea" the blond explained, "Really? Down there!" she pointed down at the sea forgetting what she was previously doing.

"Yeah, it's really amazing!" he smiled as he turned to leave. "Wait!" she jumped on him and held onto his leg, "Tell me more!" she pleaded. Rakuyo sat her down and got closer to her, "I've never been there" he whispered.

She looked at him in disbelief and just got up without saying anything. "Come on, little one. Don't be like that" Rakuyo grinned as she went back to her training, "I can tell you about it once we've been there" he full-on laughed.

At the next island a boy approached them, "You aren't fisherman, are you? You're pirates" he started as he bowed down, "Please, I have nowhere to go" he begged. The captain looked at him, "What's your name, boy?" Whitebeard asked, "Teach" he looked at him with a single teardrop.

"Alright, come onboard"

Oriana didn't pay any attention to that and just ran past them, "Wait!" someone yelled, but she didn't stop. She came to the city with a not to busy crowd as she looked around. She saw a group of kids her age playing.

She never had friends her age, and she wanted to join them. They were throwing a ball at each other with big smiles. Oriana carefully went over to them and stood on the side when the ball rolled close to her.

Oriana was about to pick it up but bumped her head against someone. She looked up to see a girl, "Sorry" they said in unison before laughing. "Do you want to play with us?" she smiled brightly. The pirate girl stared at her as she nodded.

She didn't know what to do as just stood there while the others played. That was until the ball came to her face and she caught it easily, "Now throw it to one of us" someone called. Oriana saw a boy a little further away, so she decided to use a bit of strength to get the ball to him.

As soon as Oriana threw it, she realized that she accidentally put too much power into it.

The ball hit the boy in the legs, and he screamed out in pain.

Oriana panicked and quickly went over to the boy, "I'm so sorry!" she quickly said, but the boy kept crying. The other kids went over to get an adult while she just fell on her knees in front of him a little confused about what to do.

"Get away from him!" a female came running and pushed her way. Oriana looked shocked at the woman as the rest of the adults stood between them. "What have you done to him?" a man glared at her.

Oriana had a hard time answering. It only seemed to make the man even angrier. He came closer and was about to grab her arm, "You better not touch her if you want to keep that arm, yoi" the voice came from behind her.

The girl knew immediately who it was, "Marco!" she turned to him with a desperate look. Marco stepped closer to them, and the man seemed unaware of who he was. "You know this girl? She is nothing but trouble" the stranger continued.

"Oi, oi watch your mouth, yoi. You don't want to deal with us" Marco warned. "What can a group of thugs do?" Her blond Nakama stepped up to the man's face. Oriana didn't know what that was, but it sounded like someone spoke bad about her family, "We're pirates!" she declared proudly.

"Pirates? That's even worse! What lowly crew are you two kids from?" the man dared. Marco's fist came to the man's face with barely any power behind it, "We're the whitebeard pirates, yoi!" he yelled. "Yeah, right. As if the two of you could be a part of…W-W-Whitebeard?!" the people suddenly looked really scared.

The two looked behind to see their captain, "Daddy!" the girl smiled and went over to hug his leg. "Hey treasure," he patted her head before glaring at the man, "Who are you?" her father's deep voice echoed, "I'm nobody" he stepped back.

"He yelled at me for something I didn't do on purpose" she looked innocently up to her father. Whitebeard's gaze turned from Oriana to the man, "You yelled at my daughter?!" his anger slowly raised, "Your daughter?! I'm sorry! I didn't know! Please forgive us!" he fell to his knees.

Oriana looked at her father, "Daddy? Why is he like that? Is he scared of you?" she hasn't seen people react like that before. Whitebeard took his daughter up and looked into her eyes, "He is? I wonder why?" he asked playfully, "That's stupid, daddy. I think you're the best!" she said without hesitation.

Whitebeard's heart melted, "Thanks, treasure. I appreciate that" he smiled lovingly before turning to the man, "If you really are sorry, you can restock our ship" the captain didn't leave any room for arguments. "Of course!" the man smiled.

Later when Oriana came back with some of the crew, there was a bubble coating the ship. "What is that?" she asked, "Fishman Island is under the sea, and we can't breathe down there. It's a way of protection" Vista explained.

"That's awesome!" she smiled happily. Oriana ran over to the ship and jumped onto the bubble to play. The crew let her do it while the others took the stock up to the ship and prepared to set sail. "Come here treasure. You'll soon witness something amazing" her father called.

Oriana went over to her father with a big smile, "What is it?" Whitebeard turned her around, so she saw the same thing as him, "We are getting really close to the Red Line. Look" he pointed to the front.

"Is the Red Line a big red wall?" she asked, "Yeah, how did you know that?" the captain was curious, "Mama told me… is it true it goes all around the world?" she didn't doubt her mother, but it would be nice for someone else to confirm it.

"Yes, you can ask Atmos to show you a map of the world later"

The Moby Dick kept sailing through the water. Oriana was impatiently waiting for them to descend to the sea. She didn't notice something overshadowing them, "Pops told me to tell you: We're at the Red Line" Jozu informed.

Her head had never turned so fast, "Wow" was the only thing she could say at the sight of the wall dividing the world in two. She went over to the head figure to get a better look. "I want to touch it!" she was about to 'fly' herself over there but she had a hard time going through the bubble as it got bigger.

It wasn't long till the ship went down.

Oriana looked in amazement as the bubble prevented the water from flooding the ship. Soon, they were entirely under the sea, "beautiful," she mumbled, "Breathtaking, right?" she saw a kind smile from Toki, "Yeah, we sail on this"

As they got deeper the sunlight slowly disappeared. Oriana got scared and clung to her father's pants, "Daddy, there's something out there" she tried to hide behind his leg. "We in the sea there's fish out there" he teased.

"But it was something big" she argued, "There's big fish out there, Oriana" Whitebeard offered her his hand. Oriana took it without hesitation and the captain guided her to the rail, "There's a whole world down here. The fishmen is a tribe that looks and has fish-like quality" he elaborated.

"They are like fish? Can they breathe underwater?" she had so many questions. "Yeah, but it's easier to understand if you wait and see till we get there" Whitebeard responded. "How long will that take?" he grinned, "It takes hours, maybe even a day. It's hard to tell down here" he laughed.

"A day!" she was shocked. "Have you ever been there?" she asked, "Yeah, with my last crew" he replied, "You had another crew? What happened?" she was very curious. "It's a story for another time, treasure" he smiled gently. she just nodded and admired the ocean.

Oriana didn't know how long they had been 'sailing' but soon light appeared. They went towards it and soon two huge bubbles came into view. "Beautiful," she said as she shielded her eyes. She quickly got inside her drawing book to capture this.

But when she got back someone was outside their ship, "Who's there" a deep voice came from the sea. She moved forward and saw a huge man swimming over them along with smaller fish-like people. Oriana's mouth gasped as she saw her father speaking with him.

Without thinking Oriana ran over to them, "Are you a Fishman?" The giant looked at her closely, "A human child on a pirate ship, jamon? Are you sure that's a good idea Whitebeard?" The captain put a hand on her head, "I don't trust anyone else with her"

Oriana didn't pay attention to any of that, "Are you?" she asked again, "Yes jamon. I'm a merman" he pointed to his tail and then human-like character. There were people talking in the water, looking like fish but like people fish. The one speaking with her father looked like a giant with a fishtail.

This was an eye-opener for her to a whole new world.

The Moby Dick moved towards the island. Oriana could hardly contain her excitement as she hugged her drawing book. She had to hold herself back from jumping into the water. This entire island felt so magical with all the people and landscape.

When they arrived at the island everyone seemed curious about them and just stared, "Prince Neptune, are you sure it's a good idea to invite human pirates in?" a Fishman with a funny beard asked the big Fishman, "It's fine, minister of the left. Whitebeard is a friend"

Oriana walked away without anyone noticing. She had her book ready for her upcoming masterpiece. She hurried through everything until a group of older girls was swimming in a lake in front of her. "Beautiful," she said a little too loud.

They smiled lovingly at her, "Thank you, sweety" a blond girl said. "Are you humans or Fishman?" Oriana asked curiously. "We are mermaids" another girl answered before lifting her tail up. "Can I draw you?" the pirate girl asked.

"Draw us?" they seemed confused, "My dream is to draw the world. You are a part of this world" she explained happily. "That sounds beautiful. Go ahead little one" they smiled, and Oriana sat next to them before focusing on drawing.

Everything was going well, and Oriana was about to finish when a group of boys about her age came toward her. "Oi, human. What are you doing here?" a green-ish octopus came toward her with a smug look.

"I'm here with my family" she answered as she went back to her work. Once she was done she turned the page around to show it to the mermaids, "This is really incredible!" the blond said and show them to her friends. They all praised her and it warmed Oriana's heart.

The fishmen boys grabbed her drawings from the mermaids, "I didn't know humans could do something other than ruin lives" he said as he looked through them. "Oi, give that back!" Oriana yelled and was about to take it back from him when he threw it to his friend.

As she was getting closer to the friend, he threw it to another. It continued like that for a while. Oriana was desperately trying to get her book back and as they were throwing things around it landed in the lake.

Oriana jumped to the low side of the lake to get her book. As she continued it only got deeper and when she was about to grab it a fish bit into it before diving down. She stood there speechless with her arm still stretched.

This huge wave of emotions overtook her. Without her knowledge, her skin turned darker, her ears pointier, her hair white and her eyes red. She went in after the fish.

The pirate girl caught up with the fish quite quickly. It still had her treasure between its lips and was resting by a rock. She flipped herself around to step on it and bowed forward to grab it. Oriana then swam up to the surface with an angry expression, 'Everything was ruined'.

Her gaze turned to the ones responsible for this mess. Oriana shook the water particles out of her hair. She moved her arms round to gather her powers. She felt it building up behind her and was about to release it, "STOP!" a voice called behind her.

Oriana looked to see a pretty blond girl running towards her, "Please, don't do this" she stood between her and them, "Otohime-chan" the boys hid behind her. As soon as they grabbed her shoulders, she looked at them with a smile before slapping all three.

She then turned to Oriana, "I feel your anger" it made Oriana stop. "I'm sorry for what those three did to you," Otohime said as tears were falling from her eyes. The pirate girl let her arms fall to her sides a bit uncomfortable at the girl crying in front of her.

Her mind quickly changed to water splashing her, "Who did that?" she asked around looking for a culprit. "You did it to yourself" one of the boys hiding behind the blond added. "No, I didn't!" she tramped the ground while glaring at him.

The lake behind her exploded and the boys coward away from her. Oriana quickly turned around as she realized what was happening, "I did that?" she slowly calmed down. "Yes, you did. Is that something you couldn't do before?" the girl suddenly put a hand on her shoulder.

Oriana quickly reacted until she saw the kind smile and calmed more down, "Yeah" she smiled. This was something she had been practicing for quite a while and she was happy. "Is this one yours too?" She looked to the side and saw her ruined book.

"Yeah" Oriana held it up as waterdrops fell to the ground. While they were focusing on that a trumpet was blown and the huge merman appeared while riding on a whale his size. Her crew was approaching her from the front, "What happened, treasure?" her father asked.

"Daddy, my drawings are all wet" she wanted to cry. Whitebeard got down to her level or close to, "There is a way to fix that" he said as a hand was placed on her head, "Really? How?" she asked eyes filled with hope, "You can lift the water out of it. Like you did with the ocean"

Oriana looked into her father's eyes for a moment and then at her hand, "Can I really do that?" she asked, "Of course, believe in yourself" he encouraged. The girl smiled before nodding, "I'll do it, daddy. Just wait and see" she took her thing and ran towards the ship.

"Already back, Oriana?" Vista asked from the distance. "I have to try something" Oriana replied, "I'll like to see that," the man said and followed her. She didn't have a problem with that at all and gave him a warm smile.

Vista caught up to her, "Can you transform whenever you like now?" he asked curiously. "Hmm? I didn't notice" her hand reached her ear and saw her skin color change. She shrugged and turned her attention back to her goal.

She placed her book opened on the deck with both her hands above them. Oriana could feel the water particles and slowly lifted them up. She got to her feet and water followed her every movement and let it flow.

There was this voice that told her to circle her arms around each other pulling it in. At some point, it didn't go as fast as Oriana would like and just grabbed it like a rope. She had a feeling that her hands wouldn't go through it.

When Oriana was getting the last of it, the book started to follow as if it was glued to it, "Don't worry, Oriana. I got it" he smiled at took a hold of her book. Once the last drop of water got off, she threw it into the ocean or ocean inside the bubble.

Oriana ran over to Vista to see if it worked and her smile widen when she saw everything was intact, "We did it, Vista!" she was so happy. The man grabbed her and gave her a big bear hug, "No, you did it. We all knew you could"

-x-

The days after that went by really quickly. Oriana hasn't left the ship since the incident, not because she was scared but because she was too busy training. She was training to control the water and it was going quite smoothly. The techniques were just like her wind just a little heavier.

"Oria-chan, you're sure you don't want to come with us to the island?" Oriana was too busy and just nodded, "Yeah, I'm sure" before jumping into the sea. Swimming was becoming so much easier with her powers.

She felt so free.
