Crisis on Bounty Earth!
It was early in the morning the day after the trip to Sister Earth; Rae, Kara, Barry, and Sister Earth's Rae were in their headquarters, Bounty Rae having left Alister and Bella with Nora and her dad. They had patched Sister Rae's leg up and let her heal; she was still sitting on the air mattress they had brought to the headquarters.
"Yeah, Sister is completely gone," Kara said, having been talking to some of the multiverse since for confirmation. "It's not the first. I doubt it will be the last."
"What about Mirror Mistress?" Barry asked.
"Two portals left Sister Earth before it was destroyed – ours and another one and both came here," Kara said. "Mirror Mistress came home and I don't think she has left yet." Kara pulled up a news report about recent murders.
"Yeah, I heard of this," Barry said, still a CSI of Central City. "Definitely Mirror murders. Let's track her down and get the reward."
"We can only collect a bounty if we get her from another world. We're heroes here. Not trackers," Rae reminded her cousin before turning to her younger, quiet alternate. "Come on. Join us. You need to get your mind off things."
Sister Rae looked up at her alternate, opened her mouth, and then closed it. Gave a nod and stood up.
"Kara?" Bounty Rae asked her wife.
"You go ahead, love," Kara said. "I need a word with our resident myth buster."
"Oh no, not him again," Barry groaned.
"I wasn't inviting you," Kara said to Barry. "They were helping Karry with this Crisis thing, so it's time to see what they know. You go with the Raes, or I don't know, go to your real job." Kara jumped onto her motorcycle and Samuel flew to his perch on the back before the two left.
"Come on," Bounty Rae said with a nod to her younger and the three speedsters left.

Kara parked her bike outside the Wells Store and went into the shop, Samuel flying in with her and sitting on an artifact inside.
"Hello?" Kara called out.
"Dad is not going to like your bird being on that. It took us forever to find it," a familiar voice said, and Maya appeared from behind the counter, their version of Allegra.
"He can take it up with Samuel," Kara said as she heard laughing and Cara came out of a back room. On other worlds she was called Jesse.
"I like Samuel," Cara said, giving the bird a smile as Nash was the last one who came out.
"Seriously?" Nash said holding his hand out to the bird and the bird gave a call out to him. "That's the last remnant of an old dynasty and your bird is using it as a perch! What do you want, anyway?"
"I need to know what you learned about this Crisis event," Kara asked, ignoring the reference to Samuel, as the three looked at each other.
"Why are you suddenly curious?" Maya asked cautiously. Neither Flash or Super Blue Arrow had come around since they had returned from Karry Universe. The three had figured the group just didn't care about the upcoming Crisis.
"I was on a world on a track and the sky went red. We barely got out and when we got back, the world was gone," Kara said.
"Oh man," Cara said. "Worlds are being destroyed already?"
"The main event can't be here yet though," Maya voiced.
"No, when Crisis is here, we will know," Nash said. "It must be early worlds being taken out."
"That's all well and good, but what do you know?" Kara asked now, getting annoyed.
"Not much," Nash said, frustrating Kara more. "We went with Karry Universe's Kara and Barry to find a book a speedster wrote a long ago. It's written in a speedster language only a born speedster can read. Barry can barely read it."
"He was getting better," Maya defended him.
"Women in this world who start defending Barry usually end up pregnant with one of his kids," Kara warned Maya and Nash tilted his head at that warning. "So, what did the book say?"
"Only a speedster can read it," Nash reminded her. "When we found it, we gave it to them. That was the job."
"So, you're no help," Kara summarized. "I'm going to go find my wife and then we're going to go to Karry Universe to read this book. Samuel, go look." Kara opened the door and Samuel flew away as Kara went for her bike.
"You know, why didn't we call in our Rae to help decode that other Rae's journal?" Cara asked.
"Because Karry insisted New Justice Rae was their go-to Rae and they could do it without her," Maya reminded her and Nash rolled his eyes at this.
"It's true, any Rae would do," Nash sighed.

Barry had gone into his office at the precinct and looked over the files on the new Mirror Mistress cases. One of the victims being Iris's father's girlfriend.
"She's going after loved ones," Bounty Rae pointed out, having looked over the cases too.
"Means she's going after Joe again," Sister Rae pointed out.
"Looks that way," Barry agreed.
"Iris is nuts. Something about visiting your Earth must have made her start going after her family," Bounty Rae added.
"She did take your Joe hostage," Barry agreed. "Time to find Captain Joe West," with that, the three ran off again.
Barry and both Raes found Joe was on the street at another crime scene.
"Captain!" Rae said as the three stopped. "We think you're in danger."
"Danger?" Joe asked, looking at them and eyeing the extra Flash. "What type of danger?"
"Your daughter," Barry said, and Joe sighed and gave a nod. He looked upset, but he knew about Iris being the new Mirror Mistress.
Before more could be said, out of a window Iris jumped, heading right for Joe but Sister Rae was faster, hitting into Iris and knocking her off course. Bounty Rae went to join her alternate while Barry grabbed hold of Joe ran him back into the precinct.
"Stay away from reflective surfaces!" Barry ordered as he ran back out to join his two cousins.
The two Raes were running, avoiding Iris using glass shards in attacking the two. Barry grabbed a couple of meta cuffs from the police officers and handed one to each Rae.
"First one to get a cuff on her wins a free dinner," Barry called.
"You're on," both Raes said at the exact same time and started to run at Iris.
"I maybe should have thought that one over," Barry mused as he now dodged some glass and headed for Iris, figuring a head on attack was best as Iris attention turned to him. A large number of shards headed right for him that Barry started to dodge as fast as he could.
He avoided most of them, but one hit his side and then another was going for his throat but was stopped by his Rae.
"Why did you not phase?" Rae asked, knocking the shard away.
Before Barry could answer the two were distracted by Iris calling out – Sister Rae had gotten the cuffs on her, who was screaming and trying to move glass, but to no avail now.
"I guess we owe her a dinner," Barry mused.
"You made the bet," Rae pointed out as then her alternate started punching Iris; Bounty Rae could tell her double was taking out the frustration of her world being gone on the villain and jumped in grabbing and pulling her back, while Barry grabbed a now-unconscious Iris, moving her back and handing her to a nearby officer.
"Hey, it's okay. She's not at fault for this," Bounty Rae soothed her alternate.
"My world… my parents… my dog… my sister," Sister Rae stated, holding on to Bounty Rae.
"I know… I know," Rae soothed, bringing her into a hug. But then there was an earthquake – but it was unlike any earthquake that group had ever felt; even more powerful than the one on Sister Earth the other day.
"The sky!" Sister Rae said, and all looked up. It was exactly like it had been on Sister Earth the day before only this time they saw black shadows appearing, descending from the redness.
"I guess losing your world doesn't matter too much now," Barry pointed out. "I think we're all about to join them."
"Samuel!" Rae called, seeing the eagle flying up and heard Kara on her motorcycle. "Sweetie, what's going on?"
"I think we're too late," Kara said looking up. "Let's get Alister and Bella. We need to get off this Earth now!" Rae gave a nod, and all three speedsters ran off with Samuel taking Kara and her bike.

Back in their little shop, Nash, Maya, and Cara looked up at the sky, having felt the earth shake.
"This is bad," Nash said, "this has to be Crisis…" he then noticed Maya had taken his world hopping device and opened a portal. "Where are we going?"
"You'll see," Maya said as she and Cara went through and Nash followed.
On the other side of the portal, Nash was not sure why he was surprised to see Karry Universe's Lake House. He should have known his daughter would take them here.
"Seriously?" Nash couldn't help but ask.
"Laptop!" Maya said, grabbing a laptop that was on the counter. "Ah good, it's connected to the system and… damn, our world is gone." Nash came besides his daughter as he looked at the system – Bounty Earth was blackened out, no longer available.
"We have a bigger problem," Cara said, having went to the door leading to the back and opening them. "Come and look."
The two went to the doors to see the sky was red.
"It's here too!" Maya said, shocked.
"That's because there's no running anymore," Nash said as he looked up and then to his daughters. "No more distractions. No more breaks. No more side quest. The main event is here. The Crisis on Infinite Earths has come."
Post Chapter Note: Well, I hope you liked this short little thing. Next week Crisis will be officially here. Like Nash said, no more distractions.
