Revealing the Secret

-Early July 2022-

Rae took the remote and turned off the TV.

"Well, the only thing on every channel is our interviews," Rae said; Jay, Clark, Rae, Kara, Barry, Oliver, and Laurel all got together and discussed revealing their secret identities, getting inputs from everyone, but all had decided trying to keep the secret was useless at this point. They had done an official press release and several interviews to confirm their identities.

"Oliver and Laurel are staying away from the public eye for a bit," Kara said. "Clark took Lois, the kids, and grandma and grandpa and went to Kent Farm. He's thankful he didn't sell that now."

The two heard a noise from outside and each grabbed one of their twins and moved out of the front door. The press had been surrounding their house for a while.

"Good call on that fence," Rae said - the two had put a nice, tall fence around their property since. They could still see through to the other side, but it helped give them privacy and kept media off their property. Kara gave a nod. "This will…"

Rae paused as she saw Nora Darhk trying to walk down the street but the media in front of their house was blocking her and pushing her as they tried to get closer. Rae kissed Bella, who she was holding, and put the baby on the grass and then ran. She phased her arms through the fence and grabbed hold of Nora and started phasing her and dragged her back through the fence.

"Thanks, Rae," Nora said once they were solid and on the property. "That felt... weird." Rae saw Damien at his front door and gave him a nod; Damien backing away back into his house. He needed to keep his face unseen after all.

"Are you heading anywhere important? I can take you," Rae said.

"I was going to hang out with friends, but maybe I'll just stay here," Nora said giving Rae a smile. The girl had run over the minute she heard the news to talk.

"Of course," Kara said, knowing Nora wanted to hear more stories of them as their hero counterparts. Kara got Bella, who had been pulling out grass and putting it in her mouth and put both twins back inside. Kara removed the grass from her mouth.

They heard beeping and saw Ray's car trying to get through the media but being blocked by media vans and reporters in the street.

"I got that," Rae sighed, and ran, phasing into the passenger seat. "Hey Ray, give me a minute." Rae explained, shocking Ray.

"What are you going to do?" Ray asked as Rae put her hands on the car and started to vibrate.

"Drive," Rae said, her voice a bit distorted due to the vibration. "Now"

Ray pushed on the gas and started to drive. People screamed and ran but the car phased through the media and other cars and right through the fence and into the driveway. Once the car was safely next to Kara's bike, Rae and Ray stopped. "Wow," Ray said as Rae exited the car. "That was weird and scary."

"You're welcome," Rae said. "Is Sara okay?"

"Dropped her off at work. She'll be fine. Disney has its problems but it won't let customers or media harass employees," Ray said as they went into the house. "Are you two actually going to work today?"

"I think we should stay here for a while," Kara said.

"You all should, but I should check on everyone," Rae said making eyes turn to her. "Dad and Aunt Nora said they're fine, but they can't get in touch with Barry. I called myself and he's not answering. Plus, I want to check on my grandparents and all the baby mamas. I'll be back and you have Ray and Nora here for backup."

Rae kissed Kara and then summoned her Flash suit and ran off. "So cool," Nora mumbled.

Rae ran right into her grandparents' house.

"Grandma, grandpa?" Rae called out.

"In here," it was Emily's voice and Rae went into the dining room where both her grandparents were. There was food on the table. "Rae, what a pleasant surprise. Sit eat. What brings you here?"

"Just making sure you're okay with the media and everything since the reveal," Rae said, taking a seat and grabbing some of the food. She was a bit hungry.

"Oh, that's nothing. We're perfect," Richard said. "In fact, better." Rae noticed the big smiles on their faces.

"What's going on?" Rae asked.

"For years we have had to listen to our friends brag about their kids and grandkids," Emily explained. "And the 'so sorry' looks to us about Joan. When we found you, we did brag a bit about our granddaughter and making a relationship, but we couldn't tell them the whole truth about how successful and great you are. Now we can. Now they are calling us." Emily was smiling. "Whenever Penny goes on about her son the doctor, I can counter with my granddaughter who has saved the Earth."

"And when Steve brags about his daughter-in-law who works as a clerk for a Supreme Court Justice I can countered that my granddaughter-in-law runs the best multiverse tracking business and oh yes, she has saved the entire Earth - and without her full Kryptonian powers," Richard said with a smile.

"I'm glad you're happy," Rae said, shaking her head and giving a chuckle. She knew her grandparents had been sad a lot over the years over her mom. A bit of bragging about them to friends wouldn't hurt.

"Oh, we need to do a dinner here with all our friends and you two," Emily said. "And of course, Alister and Bella as well."

"I'll talk to Kara about it," Rae said. "But I don't think it will be a problem." Emily and Richard gave smiles. "Hey, this is a long shot, but have you seen my brother? I know he sometimes hangs out by your pool."

"No, not for a bit," Richard said, frowning now.

"I'm going to go check with the Luthors and if he's not there, run to the condo," Rae said. "Since you two are fine and don't need help. I'll call you later. Let me know if the media get too much though." Rae gave them both a kiss and then ran off.

-Bounty-

Arriving in Metropolis, Rae ran into the Luthor family home.

"Lena, Lex!" Rae called out.

"Rae," it was Lex coming in. "Oh, thank god. Come!" Lex signalled for Rae to follow him to a bedroom where Lena was on a bed. Her big pregnancy stomach showing and she was calling out.

"Are you in labor?!" Rae asked.

"Yes," Lena said.

"We thought it was false labor at first but definitely real," Lex said. "And we're a bit concerned bringing her to the hospital or even getting our doctor here. Not with all the chaos going on around the reveal and the hashtag about Barry babies."

"Hashtag?" Rae asked and Lex handed over a tablet. "Oh god. Hashtag-have-a-Barry-baby. Hashtag-make-me-a-baby-mama... Oh, some of these are very… kidnap-py." Lex gave a bemused nod. "Okay, we need a trusted doctor and unfortunately Alex Danvers I think is busy with her government job. But… she didn't deliver the twins. Her father had just died on the day so…"

Rae took a device out of her pocket and opened a portal. She went through it, leaving the Luthors alone and for a moment before a portal came back in with a surprised Caitlin Snow. "Karry Universe's Caitlin - multiverse midwife," Rae explained.

"I think that's my official title now but... Lena?" Caitlin said. "This is new. Who's the father?"

"Barry," all three said together before Lena yelled out again.

"90 percent of the time on this world the father is Barry," Rae said who took out her phone and tried calling her brother again - it went to voice mail.

"That'll make things awkward in the future," Caitlin mused.

"I'm going to see if I can find him. Lex let me know when the baby comes," Rae spoke ignoring Caitlin and running off.

"She's more distracted than most Raes I know," Caitlin voiced, but went to the task at hand - to deliver Lena's baby.

...

Rae stopped after phasing into the condo she used to live in and now rented to Barry. It was in a gated community, so unlike other places there weren't hordes of fans or media outside. The condo was empty though besides Barry's cellphone on the counter.

"Oh, Barry..." Rae mumbled, picking up the abandoned cellphone. "Well, I was going to check on all the baby mamas anyway. Maybe one of them knows where he is."

June was in her apartment, moving a desk in front of the door.

"Mom, I'm scared," Luna said.

"No one is going to hurt you," June said. Since the reveal, the media had literally been banging on their door and neighbors and random people had been trying to get to them. One of them had actually broken the lock on their door trying to get in.

They heard a noise in the bedroom and June went to grab a knife. Holding it above her head, she stepped forward as the bedroom door opened and stopped when she saw Rae.

"You trying to kill me, June-y?" Rae asked as June put the knife down and Luna ran to Rae. "I guess I don't have to ask if everything is okay here."

"Things are definitely not okay," June said. "Rae, can you do me a favor and take Luna to her school for her summer program. The school has told me they put extra security in place for Luna. I think she will be safer there than here."

Rae gave a nod and ran out with Luna, returning a few minutes later. "She's with her teacher who told me they would keep an extra close eye on her," Rae said, having spent the extra time to get that arranged, and June let out a breath as there was banging on the door again.

"Can you take me to the shop?" June asked and Rae took June and soon they were in their bakery; the doors were closed but they could see the media and regular people outside lining up. "Going to need to bake..."

"Are you really opening today?" Rae asked.

"I think I am safer here than my apartment. My landlord is doing nothing to help. In fact, I think he's encouraging it. I don't think he likes you," June said and Rae raised an eyebrow. "Or any heroes, come to think of it; Maxwell Lord is a strange man. And he will probably get his wish. I need to move someplace more secure for me and Luna, but I don't know where. Maybe short term with Jay and Nora, but we need a place of our own."

"You know, above here are apartments," Rae said, pointing up. The building their shop was in, the bottom level was stores and the top levels consist of apartments or office space.

"We don't own the building or rent upstairs," June pointed out.

"But our landlord sent that notification he's looking to sell the building," Rae said.

"The business is doing well, but we don't have the money for that and I don't either," June pointed out.

"But me and Kara do. All those Leagues of Assassin take downs recently have given us a lot of extra cash and we don't like the idea of it just hanging out in the bank," Rae said. "We were looking to invest it and this would be a sound investment. Let the bakery stop paying rent, give some income from others paying rent, and make a secure place for you and Luna to live."

"You'd do that for us?" June asked.

"Yes," Rae said. "But I need to talk to Kara about it obviously and then see if we can make a deal."

June brought Rae into a hug. "You want to stay and help me bake?" June asked after breaking from the hug.

"I'd love to but can't. Actually, Lena's in labor and Barry is MIA. Have you seen him?" Rae asked.

"Damn, Sorry no," June said.

"I'm going to go check on Jessica and see if she has seen him," Rae said giving June a smile and then running out of the store.

"I better text the other mama's, let them know Lena's officially giving birth," June mused to herself, picking her phone out of her pocket, glad Luna was now safe.

-Bounty-

Jessica was at her fathers with her two children, thankful he'd let her stay with him.

"Thanks dad for letting us stay here for a bit," Jessica said to her father.

"Anytime, so is Barry going to stop on by?" He asked.

"I don't know," Jessica said.

"Well, anytime," her father said, making Jessica chuckle as her father went to the next room.

"Aunt Rae," Jessica heard a voice and turned to see Rae hugging Santana and Sebastian.

"No. What are you doing here?" Jessica asked.

"Looking for you. Took me a while to find you. I checked your place, your work, your dad's shop, and then finally here. Why the no?" Rae asked.

"Oh Jess…" It was her father coming back out of the room but he paused when he saw Rae. "Rae, how great to see you!"

"Mr. Cruz," Rae said.

"Call me Carlos," Carlos said, taking Rae's hand and shaking it and continue to shaking it.

"Carlos Cruz. C.C. Funny," Rae mused at the name, the man chuckling himself.

"Only my friends call me C.C. You can call me that too. Flash, Everything you do. You, your father, and that wonderful brother of yours. I just can't thank you enough," Carlos stated.

"I'm confused. Did he not know we were the Flash?" Rae asked as Carlos continued shaking her hand in a way that was getting weird now. Santana and Sebastian were giggling at their grandfather's antics.

"Since the kids were conceived, before Barry had powers, I never thought it was important to tell him," Jessica confirmed.

"A little sour over that. Come, I got to show you," Carlos said, putting an arm around Rae and bringing her into the room he had just came out of. Rae suddenly got why Jessica never told her father about them: The room was like a Flash shrine with a lot of Flash toys, clothes, posters, and everything else you could think of around it. There was even a replica of her father's helmet. "It's a prop from that movie based on your dad." Carlos must have saw where Rae's eyes went.

"My dad has been a big Flash fan since Jay was the Flash," Jessica explained, coming into the room.

"I see," Rae said with a nod. "I am guessing you're okay?"

"Staying here for a bit before returning home, but yes we're good," Jessica said.

"Have you seen Barry?" Rae asked.

"Not for a while. He owes me some child support too," Jessica added.

"Oh, you can let him be a little late," Carlos dismissed making Rae blink. Last time she had seen Carlos, he had complained to Rae about her dead-beat brother. "The boy does so much. Hey Rae I was thinking we should all have a barbecue someday. Maybe here or at your parents or we can rent a nice spot in the park..."

"I'll run it by Kara," Rae said, thinking that was becoming a theme of the day. "But I need to find my brother. His sixth child is about to be born and he's missing. I'll see if Crystal and Caitlin know where he is."

"Good luck!" Jessica said as Rae gave Carlos another nod before running out.

"Yes, I got that on tape!" Carlos said Jessica seeing his cellphone out.

"You better not post that," Jessica said, to her father going to grab the phone from him. "Dad, you're not just a Flash fan anymore. You're family. Meaning we keep things private for them. Got it?"

"Understood," Carlos said with a nod and a wide grin. Jessica rolled her eyes at the grin.

Bounty's own Caitlin and Crystal worked as scientist for Mercury Labs and they had asked the lab if they could bring their kids with them to work because of the reveal of their father and the labs' manager had been very understanding and helpful.

They shared their lab with Hartley Rathaway who had been very into their kids and the two had realized why.

"Hartley, you will not experiment on our kids!" Caitlin said, taking Anita away from the man.

"They are the children of the Flash!" Hartley complained. "And you two and you two are heroes in your own right too." Caitlin and Crystal had also revealed themselves as Mother Nature and Ice Maiden, respectively.

"No," Crystal told the man again as she put Kevin into a make shift playpen they had put in the lab, Caitlin returning Anita there.

"Okay, okay, but I do have to ask. Does Barry go both ways because I got to say I would totally hit that," Hartley smirked

"God no," both sisters said together.

"Not on this world at least," Rae's voice spoke, and Caitlin and Crystal laughed. "But have you by any chance seen him?"

"No," Caitlin said, unfazed by Rae's sudden appearance.

"Tried calling him too," Crystal said.

"He left his cellphone in the condo and I can't find him," Rae said, shaking her head. "Lena is in labor."

"We know. June texted us," Crystal said, surprising Rae that June had been so quick.

"Does she need any help?" Caitlin asked. "It's not my specialty but I am a doctor and know a thing of two about midwifery."

"No, she's fine - your Karry Universe counterpart is with her. And she does have a lot of midwifery experience," Rae said, making Caitlin raise an eyebrow. "You met their Barry and Kara. Married, four at the time, I think it's now five kids, and billionaires."

"Oh yeah Billionaire Barry we call him," Crystal said. "The ones who showed up when Kevin was born. You know, I am a bit curious about our multiverse alternates. Think we could come on a track with you?"

"Might be fun and we're not exactly liabilities," Caitlin reasoned.

"I have no objections but I'll run it by Kara," Rae said as her cellphone binged. "But I really need to find Barry. He's not a great dad but you know he likes to be there when his kids are born."

"I think you're going the wrong way," Crystal said. "He left his cellphone behind. He doesn't want people to find him so he's not going to be with his baby mamas."

"Ah, yes, find a place he can be alone," Hartley said. "Where no one would think to look for him."

"How can…?" Rae stopped her sentence. "I think I know where he is. Thank you." Rae ran out.

"So, not one mild experiment on the kids? Just running their DNA to see if they have a mutation," Hartley asked and saw the two looks. "Fine, no experiments."

-Bounty-

Barry groaned when he heard the voice.

"It took a while to find you," Rae said, entering the treehouse Barry was sitting in. "This old thing looks like it'll soon fall apart."

"How did you know I would be here?" Barry asked.

"Last place I looked. But when Crystal said you wanted to hide it became obvious. The treehouse dad built for us in the woods behind your grandparents' place. You know I still miss your grandma," Nora's mom, Marsha Thompson, had been alive until Barry had been a teen and Rae, herself, a pre-teen. She had been in on the secret and had lived in a nice house with a wooded area behind it. Jay had built this treehouse for them then. When Nora's mom had died, they sold the house and Barry and Rae had not been here since. "Doesn't look like the new owners kept this treehouse up."

"House is for sale again," Barry mused. "I'm going to get a mortgage and buy it."

"Um… Mr. Three-Child-Support Payments?" Rae asked. "Jessica says you owe her this months."

"Yeah, I do need to get that to her but with running the Central tracking business, plus my part-time CSI work, and I was talking to Ray..." Barry said.

"My nanny Ray?" Rae asked.

"Yes, he agreed to let me help him make meta tech on the side for kids. And with me, we can make more and I can personally deliver them with my speed. Plus, sounds like we might be getting some money in from Flash sales now," Barry explained. "I can swing a mortgage payment and child support. Will give me little spending money for myself but I can get chickens in the backyard like grandma use to have for eggs. And then can fix this tree house."

"Barry, why?" Rae asked. "I thought you liked the condo. It's a small little place for your bachelor life."

"I love the condo," Barry said. "Until we revealed our secret. My neighbors have been…" Barry didn't finish the sentence. "And random girls are getting into the complex and coming to my door wanting me to father kids with them. I have so many girls messaging me wanting to have sex."

"Considering who you are, I thought you would enjoy that," Rae said.

"Rae... I know you have made a joke on all my baby mamas but they are not just randos. June was my high school sweetheart, Jessica, I fell in love with - I just didn't want a wife and kids, which is what she wanted. Plus, her dad is a little creepy when it comes to the Flash," Barry mused at that one.

"So, you knew about the creepy Flash room? You could have warned me," Rae said.

"Oh you've seen it too now," Barry smiled a little to himself. "As for Caitlin, she was a friend and Crystal her sister and a friend as well," Barry continued on his fathering reasoning. "Kara is your wife and Lena… well she was Lena. I would be willing to date her again in the future," Barry said. "I don't want to just make a bunch of random pregnant women. I want to date and really have a connection with someone."

"Wow, Barry Allen has standards. I got to tell Kara this," Rae said and Barry sighed. "Are you still with Lisa Snart?" Barry nodded. "Then use her as a shield against the randos."

"Good idea," Barry said.

"And instead of getting a mortgage, maybe the Luthors can help you buy this place?" Rae said. "I would offer the help, but I already offered June help today and we don't have the finances for two big buys."

"Will you sell the condo?" Barry asked.

"Nah. Maybe I'll rent it to someone else," Rae said with a shrug. "But we need to go. Lena is in labor."

"Seriously?! You could have started with that," Barry said, quickly standing and the two ran off together.

-Bounty-

Barry and Rae ran into the Luthor manor just in time - they heard crying.

"I didn't miss it," Barry said to Rae as they knocked on the door. Lex opened the door and smiled at them.

"Caitlin?" Barry paused, seeing Caitlin in the room and Lena holding the crying baby.

"Karry Universe," Rae explained, giving her a nod as the two came up. "So, what's his name?"

"Logan Luthor," Lena said of the boy Caitlin was holding. Lena was exhausted, laying on the bed.

"L.L, what a surprise," Rae mumbled.

"There is one thing you should know. Me and my Prime counterpart have discovered a way to test if babies are speedsters. See, even though they can't use their powers right away unless the Speed Force had to activate the full powers to save a life, their hearts still beat faster. I tested Logan... he is a speedster."

"Seriously?" Barry asked.

"Yeah," Caitlin said.

"Good thing his dad and aunt are speedsters," Lex voiced.

"Rae, would you and Kara be godmothers?" Lena asked.

"I'd be honored and I am sure Kara will be too, but I need to talk to her about it," Rae said, realizing there was a lot she now needed to talk to Kara about. "Wow... I have said that way too much today." The group looked at her as her cellphone rang. "Ray is asking if I can pick up Sara and bring her to my house. I didn't realize how much time has passed with all the running around looking for Barry." Rae tossed the multiverse device to Caitlin. "Push the button. It's set to your world for when you're ready to go home and Barry, I think you need a word with Lex."

"Yeah, I do," Barry said, and Lex turned to him as Rae ran off.

-Bounty-

Rae ran into her house, now with Sara.

"Thanks," Sara said to Rae as she went to hug her husband.

"I offered for Ray and Sara to spend the night," Kara said and Rae gave a nod. "And I got Samuel here who flew Nora to her door." Rae chuckled at the mental image of the eagle lifting Nora above the fence to the surprise of the media. Samuel was back in the room, though. "So, how did everything go? You were gone a while."

"Oh yeah I have a list of things to tell you," Rae said, trying to recall all the promises she had made today. "Grandma and grandpa want us over for a dinner with all their friends so they can brag. I told June we would consider buying the building the bakery is in as an investment and so she and Luna can live above it. Jessica's dad wants a big barbecue and he is Flash-crazy. Caitlin and Crystal want to know if we will bring them on future Tracks. Barry has standards when it comes to women he sleeps with and he's planning on buying his grandma's old house, so we'll have to rent the condo to someone else. Come to think of it, the condo might be better for June and Luna. And a beautiful baby boy was born. Logan Luthor, who is a speedster and Lena wants us to be godmothers."

"Wow a lot of information!" Kara mused. "In order: Sure I don't see why not, I like your grandparents. Honestly, that would be a great investment for us. I knew about Jessica's dad by the way and I don't see why we can't have a barbecue with him. I'm willing to take Caitlin and Crystal on a Track. I'm going to ignore asking where he's getting the money to buy a house, but standards? That is surprising. June and Luna can choose where they want to be. And of course, I will be my nephew's godmother."

Rae laughed as she sat down next to Kara and Kara put an arm around her.

"Ray, mind cooking today?" Rae called to her nanny, who had moved off to care for the kids. She heard him calling back he would.

"By the way, the media has damaged the fence a bit," Kara said and Rae groaned. "Maybe we should have built a wall."

"Or put in a thick hedge," Rae laughed as she turned on the TV.

Post Chapter Note: And there you have it. I hope you liked this reveal of the secret and Rae losing Barry for a bit.
