"Who's there?" Zoro asks a bit aggressively. A figure jumps from the crow nest and lands on the deck, kicking up a small dust cloud. "The name's Yatogami D Enzo, master blacksmith, and the father to Yatogami Akame, and Murasame," The figure says as the dust cloud parts and reveals Enzo in his usual kimono, and a kasa with strings of cloth hanging from the sides and back(The hats that the Akasuki wore in Naruto Shippuden).

~Chapter 3: New apprentices~~

Immediately after Enzo's introduction Akame and Murasmae ran to him for a hug while everyone else took a second to comprehend what he said. "YOU'RE THEIR FATHER!?" everyone shouted simultaneously once their brain interpreted what he said. Enzo nodded in confirmation while hugging his kids. "B-b-but y-you don't even look as old as Zoro!" Nami shouted what everyone was thinking except the Zoro part. "What's that supposed to mean!" Zoro irritatedly replied while everyone else laughed. "HAHahaa, I'm afraid that, unlike that young man, I'm almost in my thirties," Enzo replied making the group gape in silence. "Y-y-y-you'd still have to be about 10 to 12 to have her, and how was Murasame even born!" Nami shouted once again. Sanji started to look at Enzo in amazement like he's looking at the greatest man to ever exist. "I adopted Akame a few years ago, and Murasame wasn't created in the traditional method," Enzo clarified with a wink to Nami making her blush.

"What do you mean by advised the old man?" Ace said, getting back to the important stuff. Enzo went to sit down with his back against a barrel, still hugging Akame, who was holding onto him like a lifeline, and Murasame on his shoulder, rubbing against his face like a cat before responding to Ace, "He hasn't told you about me yet?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. Ace shook his head negatively with a raised brow as if asking Enzo if he was that important to the Whitebeard crew. "Welp, if he hasn't told you about me yet, why spoil it?" Enzo asked rhetorically, "But, I will tell you this, I did tell him not to trust Teach because he will eventually betray the crew. I guess he didn't listen to me," he concluded as he shrugged. "So, is Teach here in Alabasta?" he asked.

"Yeah, the only reason I came to this country, is because he was reportedly seen in Yuba," Ace replied(He lowkey sounded like a cop). Then, you're going to the same place we're going," Nami said as she looked towards Vivi. Vivi getting the message, pulls out a map as she starts pointing out where they're going, "Our ship just crossed onto the Sandora River, first we'll land Erumalu then we'll cross inland through Alabasta to here, Yuba. Yuba is where the Rebel Leader is."

"I get it. So, you're headed to Yuba, too," Ace intelligently concluded. "Wherever Nami-san and Vivi-chan go~!" Sanji said in a lovestruck tone while wiggling with a heart in his visible eye. "Quit it, Love Cook," Zoro said to Sanji before turning to Enzo, "Where are you going?" Everyone turned to Enzo, even Akame removed her head from his stomach to look at him, interested in his answer. "I only came to Alabasta to meet Ace, and pick up these two," Enzo replied as he started to ruffle Akame's hair with one hand, and the other to pet Murasame, "So, I guess I'll stay with you guys. Ace is hunting for Blackbeard, and I don't feel like doing that, no offense Ace," he responded with Ace just waving him off. "Plus, you guys seem interesting," Enzo finishes as he looks around at all the Straw Hats, however, when he looked at Zoro, he did unnoticeably narrow his eyes on Zoro's sword with a white sheath.

"Looks like you guys will be traveling with us for a while," Nami summarized while putting her hands on her hips. "With you guys along, this will be a cinch," Usopp says as he starts to celebrate. "Let's make it a fun trip!" Luffy shouts as everyone, except Akame and Murasame, grabbed some more bear and toasted. While everyone else went to do their own thing, Enzo went back to the crow nest with his ravenette daughter and his crow.

~~Enzo PoV~~

After our celebration everyone went off to do their own things, Zoro started exercising, Sanji went to make food, and I went back to the crow nest to have a private reunion with my children. I leaned my back against the wall of the nest with one of my hands hugging Akame while the other rubbed her hair. "Common Akame, I know you haven't seen me in a while, but you can let go now. I'm not going anywhere," I said trying to get Akame to release me. She ignored me and just hugged me tighter, causing me to sigh in defeat. "Did you at least have fun meeting your grandfather?" I asked, trying to get my mind over the fact my own daughter is ignoring my instructions. The response to my question was a nod in my stomach. I sighed once more, I always got silent answers from her. I decided to see how Murasame's been since Akame was always the quiet one.

"How was the trip, Murasame," I asked Murasame who was using my hair as his nest. "It was fun! We got to cut up a lot of people plus I got some good food!" he crowed. Yeah... I'll take that as they had some minor annoyances because the only way for him to kill people is if he cut them, and Akame, the only person other than me that he allows to wield him, will ignore anyone unless they annoy her enough to attack them. And, of course, he had fun, the only he considers is fun is tasting the blood of enemies as he slices through them, but I don't blame him after all, he is the Yondai Kitetsu.

Before I crafted Seifuku-sha, I made my first, and currently only, cursed blade. The process of crafting cursed blades wasn't too different from the normal sword process, however, instead of using water or oil to quench the blade, you use a mixture of blood and water or blood and oil. All high-quality blades develop signs of a personality, some more than others. Some personality traits can make it harder, or easier, for a person to wield the blade compared to another person, hence the phrase 'A sword chooses its wielder.' Cursed blades take the personality thing to another level. When the blades are quenched with blood during the crafting process, it absorbs some of the blood. The blood contains lifeforce from the body which is then transferred into the blade, and creates a 'curse.'

Unlike personality traits which are random, and must be adapted to, curses can be predicted, and even negated depending on the blood to oil/water ratio used to quench the blade. Low blood to oil ratios typically make the curse negatively affect the user's luck, however, it can be negated if the user's luck is high enough. High blood to oil pressure usually gives the blade a second, and more negatively 'personality' or negatively affects the original personality it would have, e.g. Murasame. Murasame curse prevents you from resheathing him once you unsheath him unless he kills someone; If he doesn't kill anyone then his curse would eventually take over your instincts, and kill everyone that you subconsciously, or consciously view as an enemy in a 2-mile radius. His original personality probably would've let you resheath him as long as he tastes blood in some form, similar to a toddler that won't stop crying unless they get their favorite toy. Fortunately, this became more manageable after I met Akame.

I met Akame approximately six or seven months after I began my training under Mihawk. I left Kuraigana for a mini-vacation from the dark, and gloomy place. I went to many different islands nearby, exploring them, and tasting all the local food with Suzuki. The last island I went to before returning to training was Sabaody, the last island in Paradise. Going to Sabaody wasn't as pleasurable as the other island because I recently got the ability to sense emotion through observation haki, and Sabaody had a booming slave trading industry. I tried to ignore all the negative emotions I was sensing, however, I had recently gotten the ability, and wasn't accustomed to it. I unconsciously walked towards where the negative emotion was concentrated the most which turned out to be the Human Auctioning House.

I entered the auction house and found myself getting angry. When I entered my senses were blasted with negative emotions which made me frown, then I saw a few Tenryubito, and just because I don't kill on the spot, doesn't mean I like them. What made me angry was the fact that they were auctioning children. Sitting on stage in dirty rags were a pair of little girls, one with black hair and red eyes, and the other with purple hair, and eyes; Both girls appeared to be 12 years old, possibly less, or more. The salesman was just starting to give their backstory before the bidding starts.

Apparently, both girls are biological siblings with the black-haired one being the elder one at age 13 while the younger one is 11. Although their ancestry was unknown, they were raised by Cipher Pol, a series of secret agencies who do investigations, assassinations, and espionage for the World Government. As soon as they could walk, they were taught all the basics of assassination, and espionage. Due to the constant training from a young age, they aren't in touch with their emotion like other people. Unfortunately for Cipher Pol, they fucked up. One of the girls' teachers was about to molest the younger sister, however, the older sister, Akame, felt a rush of protective instinct, and attacked him with her training sword, killing him.

Cipher Pol must've realized that because of the teacher it would be practically impossible for them to get the girls to devote themselves to the organization and since the sisters didn't know any classified info, they decided to kill two birds with one stone, sell the girls to get money and get rid of them. I didn't care about their background because I was going to liberate them anyways. I left the auction unnoticeably leaving the auction unknown about my absence. I snuck into the back of the auction, shocking the captured people that someone of than the salesmen entered this section, though there was this old man that looked at me with interest. I raised my index finger to my lips, silently telling them to keep quiet. I took the keys that were hung up near to the prisoners, probably to taunt them, and released the collared bomb that was around their necks. While the prisoners slowly escaped, I stayed behind waiting for one of the salesmen to bring the children back here, so they can sell the other things they had. During the wait, I realized that I was a bit hungry, so I went to a nearby pile of fruits, however, I was shocked to find a devil fruit.

The devil fruit was pitch black with dark blue spirals on it. I didn't recognize the devil fruit, however, this was the perfect opportunity to obtain one due to their rarity and I want to test something. I picked up the fruit and hid it in my kimono just in time for one of the salesmen to come backstage with the sisters. They immediately noticed the absence of the prisoners. The salesman was about to shout and alert his comrades, however, he didn't get to because he was decapitated via Yondai Kitetsu. I instantly release the girls from their collar, grabbed them, and left the auction, so I had enough time to escape before the other salesmen noticed anything. Once I reached my ship I immediately set said back to Kuraigana, afterwards I turned towards the girls. The sight that greeted me saddened me greatly, the girls were staring at me with dull eyes as if they gave up on life, and I should do with them what I will. I immediately hugged them and said "Even if you have no will to live, please continue living, have fun, and protect each other as my daughters," with tears running down my face. There was no immediate reaction to that, however, slowly but surely, I felt them holding onto my kimono, letting me know that there was at least a bit of life to them(I'm not very good with emotional stuff, so let me know what you thought of this).

For the next two and a half years, I took care of my new daughters, eventually getting that spark of life back in their eyes, though when we first reached the Kuraigana, Mihawk raised a brow at us which was his expression of surprise. Unfortunately, due to the fact that there weren't many humans on the island, the girls became too dependent on me. To make the girls a bit more independent I contacted my father to let them stay with his crew for a few years until I pick them up. The girls rebelled, however, I made sure they knew I was doing this to help them, and me in the long run. Before they left I gave Akame the new and improved Yondai Kitetsu, now known as Murasame.

A few months after returning, I decided it was time for my experiment. Judging from the fact that blades absorb blood, and haki, they should be able to absorb devil fruits, so I ground the devil fruit I sto-got from the auction into a more liquid state. I poured it into Yondai's sheath before putting him in it overnight, hoping that by the next day it would have absorbed the devil fruit. The next morning I was woken up by cawing, I sat up before looking towards where I heard the noise. I saw Suzuki hold a crow on the ground with her talons. After noticing that I'm awake the crow strangely starts to shout "FATHER, FATHER! PLEASE SAVE ME SHE"S TRYING TO KILL ME!." At first, I wondered if he was really talking to me, but then I looked over to Yondai's sheath and realized that the sheath was there, but Yondai wasn't. Realizing that my experiment worked I immediately took the crow from Suzuki and started to poke him. Eventually getting annoyed, Yondai bats my hand away silently telling me it was annoying. I asked if he could remember anything from when he was just a sword, and if he can transform back into a sword. He jumped in my hand, transformed back into his original form, and spoke "I remember everything from when I was done being crafted."

Since he was different from his predecessors, I wanted him to have a unique name to himself, and I ended up choosing Murasame. Murasame means 'autumn rain,' autumn was filled with the color red, blood is also red, and Murasame's curse makes his sword extremely sharp so when you cut someone, their blood would spew from the wound and fall similar to rain hence the name Murasame. After that Murasmae went with Suzuki to learn the life of a bird. For the next few years until Akame, her sister, and Murasame went to hang with my father, I raised them with Suzuki's help while training.

"Caw Caw." I was taken out of my daydream about the pass from Murasame pecking my head. "Father, where is aunt Suzuki?" he asked. "She should be flying somewhere up in the air," I replied, causing him to fly upwards to greet Suzuki. I looked down to see Akame sleeping on my chest making me smile before I continued to rub her hair, eventually falling asleep as well.

~~Third PoV~~
~30 Minutes~

"Caw" "Kak" Enzo heard in his sleep before he was wakened up by two consecutive slaps to the face, and laughing to his right. He looked to the right and discovered the culprits to be Murasame and Suzuki who were both laughing their feathers off. Getting irritated at their laughing he snuck his hands to them before flicking their beaks, jerking their heads. The birds turned to Enzo, who was laughing, flabbergasted that he'd do that. Enzo stopped laughing before speaking to them, "Karma's a bitch," he said while smiling at them.

Enzo then turned to Akame, who was sleeping on his stomach and sighed. Based on the noise he was hearing it was almost time to leave the ship, but it's impossible to leave without waking Akame which was easier said than done. He tried shaking her, calling her name, and even a combination of both, but nothing worked. Realizing what he has to do, he turned to the birds and said "Pray for me, I have to do it." Both birds were petrified with disbelief before they snapped out of it, and tried to convince him that he doesn't have to do that. "I'm sorry guys, I have to do it. I know it's my last resort, but I can't think of anything else,' He told Suzuki and Murasame in a regretful tone.

He turns back to Akame, sighs in defeat before nodding and taking a deep breath preparing himself for what he has to do. He put his head as close as could to Akame's head before whispering, "Akame wake up now, and I'll make an all-you-can buffet for you, later." Akame's eyes snapped open before she turned and stared dead in his eyes and asked, "Promise?" in a menacing monotone, and a scary look on her face. Gulping, Enzo nods, signing his death sentence. Akame snapped to her feet, and her expression returns to a deadpan. Following her example, Enzo also get up, and the birds flew upon each humans' shoulder, Suzuki on Enzo's, and Murasame on Akame's. With everyone finally ready, they exit the crow's nest.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU, NAMI-SAN!? WHERE ARE YOUR DANCING GIRL!? NOO! NOT VIVI-CHAN, TOO! WHY ARE YOU WEARING THAT!?" the group heard Sanji shouting once they were on the deck. Enzo looked at Nami and Vivi and realized why Sanji was complaining. Instead of wearing their dancer outfits, they were wearing cloaks for the desert. "But we'll be burned by the intense desert sun if we leave our skin exposed," Vivi explained to Sanji. While Sanji had an internal crisis, Nami gave Luffy a cloak, catching Enzo's attention. Enzo looks down at Akame, who stared back at him with a head tilt wonder what he's doing, before turning back to Nami, "Hey Nami, You got another cloak that you can give Akame?" he asked with Nami answering with a nod and leaving to get one. Sanji not wanting the one girl wearing slightly revealing clothing to cover their whole body was about to complain, however, he felt a menacing presence towering over him like a prey about to be killed by a predator if it moved. Sanji turned his head to face the source and found Enzo looking at him with narrowed eyes, but what scared Sanji was behind him. Behind Enzo was the figure of a large Hayabusa with its feathers made of multicolored fire.

Sanji feeling intimidated decides to keep his mouth shut causing Enzo to conceal his presence again. No one noticed the interaction between them except Zoro who narrowed his eyes at Enzo feeling like he'd be a very challenging opponent. Luckily Nami returns before Zoro can ask Enzo for a match. "Here you go Akame," she said as she gave Akame a red cloak. Akame nods in gratitude, and put on the cloak before turning to her father, "What are you going to wear," she asks. He blinked before he grinned as he spun his kasa on his finger "I got this handy thing." Akame nods and pulled her hood over her head.

A few minutes later the father, daughter duo heard Luffy shouting, "Let's land already." As Zoro was about to anchor the ship he noticed that multiple shadows were about to rise out of the water. The 'shadows' jump out the water and onto the rocks, and reveal themselves to be some type of turtle-seal hybrid. "Kung Fu Dugongs!" the duo heard Vivi shouting. The Dugongs started making some weird sounds while making gestures as if they were trying to communicate. Luckily they had Chopper, and Murasame to translate. "You must fight and defeat me if you wish to disembark here!" "If you're afraid, go dock on the other shore, you wimps." Chopper and Murasame translate to the group. Usopp feeling confident stood up on the edge of the ship and said "I can't stand down after being called a wimp. Here I come," before he jumped off the ship in his bravado only to get an ass-whooping. "Kung Fu Dugongs" Vivi shouted a bit too late.

Luffy was about to jump off the ship and fight the dugongs, however, he was pulled back by Enzo. "I'm sorry, but this is too interesting to pass up," Enzo said before he jumped off the ship. "I'll face you this time," Enzo said since he landed with the chief dugong nodding in response. The Straw Hats and Ace were a bit hopeful that he'd show off a bit, so they could get a hint of his skills however, they didn't get the show they wanted. Enzo walked over to the dugong like he was just getting something from a fridge, nothing to worry about. The dugong tried to punch Enzo when he got in range, but Enzo simply dodged before he simply karate chopped the dugong on the head like a disobedient child, knocking it to the ground. The disappointment on Enzo's face was almost palpable, he thought he would at least be entertained, but it seemed like the dugongs were far below the humandrills, probably because they weren't that far into the Grand Line.

Fortunately, it seemed like he'd still be entertained, just not the way he expected because all the dugongs, including the one he chopped, were looking at him with stars in their eyes, like a child looking at their favorite hero. Wondering what was happening he turned to Vivi for answers. "The code of Kung Fu Dugong states that they must become disciples of anyone who defeats them." She explains. Enzo ignored the comments of the others and turned to the dugongs, "So you want to be my disciples?" he asked. The dugongs nodded some even started doing shadow boxing. "Okay, I can't stay and train you guys but I'll give you some tips. You guys okay with that?" he asked and the dugongs nodded once more. "Now follow my movements," Enzo commanded. The dugongs copied Enzo as he punched, blocked, elbowed, and chopped the air before he turned back to them and said, "Those are basic movements that can be used in any situation you just have to determine which to use. I want you guys to do practice those movements while sparring with each other." The dugongs all stood in formation and saluted like a military platoon.

"Yosh! We're headin' to Yuba!" Luffy shouts once everyone is on land. The group of humans, reindeer, and birds then head off to Yuba while waving to the dugongs.
