The following morning, with everyone getting up bright and early and packing everything away to continue on the last leg of their journey through Cyberspace, the heroes and their new friends tagging along are on their way to Level 10 and the final challenge that'll lead Sarah, her family, and her boyfriend and his team home to the real world. But, while the going had been smooth, Race poured over the map intensely as he stared at the clearing with the Skull and Crossbones. He knew that Ming Wu never intended the game to be easy and be cleared in one sitting and given how many days they've spent in the game as was the case for Link in LOZ: Breath of the Wild, that is definitely the case.
Also, with each challenge they were put through despite Jin and Teng's needless meddling, they discovered that things are not as simple as they seem and they had to use a considerable amount of out-of-the-box solutions to get out of every bit of trouble that came hunting for them.
As he recalled everything he and the others in his and Sarah's party were told regarding Faraji and her group's escapades in getting the Diricawl family and Will away from the Scottish Kelpie on Level 5 and the past three levels along with their earlier escapades, he couldn't help but think that the final level will be the most complicated in terms of its own layout and the final boss. The BF Champion couldn't help but wonder that the clearing is just one part of something bigger Ming Wu and her design team had in mind for Level 10 in terms of how she planned to end the game in terms of a victory or defeat.
He was awfully quiet as he continued to pour through the map, so much so that Sarah grew concerned as she looked to him for an answer for a conversation she was dragged into and she got nothing from her boyfriend.
"Race, Race? Hello, Earth to Race Konami?" she called, giving him a nudge.
"Wha-?! Oh, oh yeah, sorry... What are we talking about?" he questioned, quickly snapping out of his stupor.
"Race, you've been looking at that map ever since we left Thunder, Wu and Wei, and Feathers' cave on the way to Level 10. What's gotten into you?" the princess questioned worriedly.
"Just, wondering..."
"About what?"
"...You think there could be more than just the clearing in the final level as the map suggested?"
"...Why would you say that?"
"...You know how Ming Wu is when it comes to making a game that everybody can enjoy and what she planned for this one from what she showed us, right? She's thrown curveballs at us to help us and the others complete whatever challenges she laid out for players and the ones she gave all of us resulted in several out-of-the-box solutions we had to undertake and use to get through each level. Even with the Black Dragons screwing us over with their hacks, we've managed to plow through whatever they could dish out, for the most part. But, who's to say that Ming Wu doesn't have one more surprise waiting for us by the time we get to Level 10?"
He then thought back to the Sandbuster and Death Song Titan the Black Dragons managed to hack in, "If they heard about everything we've been through including your little you-know-what after crossing through the Time-Space Continuum, who knows what else they've hacked into to toy with us? If they also got to the code involving the final boss, who knows what kind of monster they changed it into?"
"...You do have a good point. But, I guess we won't find out until we actually get there and hope things don't get worse after we arrive," Sarah sighed. "But, it's like The Grand Tour's Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May said, 'It could be worse'. If anything, let's stick to the plan we have in mind to destroy the Black Dragons and take back the Fire Capsule."
Race nodded with a soft smile, not bothering to deny the truth, "That, I can agree with."
With nothing else spoken between them, the two continued on with the rest of their group to Level 10.
Eventually, after a surprisingly peaceful walk together across the thick of Level 9's jungle, they reached the outskirts and a path leading to what looked like a huge city that was about the size of a giant football stadium and Pokemon League complex as was Pokemon Town in the Indigo League.
"Mom, look!"
"What is that?" Blitz and Curly gasped in shock.
"A city in the middle of nowhere?" gawked Sho in stunned awe.
"What the Arceus is that about...?" breathed a shocked and awestruck Mienshao as she rubbed her eyes to find out if she's dreaming (which she isn't).
"LEVEL 10, HOME-HOME-HOME, HERE WE COME!" cheered the baby Jungle Pokemon and the baby dragons as they jumped up and down excitedly, the home stretch already in view of them and everyone else.
"There it is, the last level." Pyrrah sighed with a relieved smile.
"And, our way home," an equally-relieved Faraji agreed.
"But, I don't remember a city being part of this level since the map only mentioned that we have to come across a clearing," James pondered.
"Does that mean Ming Wu and her team are throwing in one last curveball for us to overcome as part of our final challenge from her?" Nikki questioned.
"With everything Ms. Wu and her people have done to make the game and given how topsy-turvy things have been during our time here, it's best to not question it and always expect the unexpected," Tsukumaro replied.
"Well, Master, everybody... Let's go," announced Wang Lun, getting agreeing nods from Sarah and everyone else as they pressed on.
"Okay, Ming, they made it to the last level! As long as they're not tailed by the Black Dragons, they're home free!" replied one of Ming's friends and fellow scientists as they watched the heroes' progress.
"But, this one's the toughest of them all and the hardest we've ever designed. No player's ever won it, not even me," Ming Wu frowned worriedly. "It'll take everything they got just to survive and make it back..."
with their Cyberspace friends looked around the city. While it's a busy metropolis not unlike New York City, Washington D.C., Seattle, Hollywood, London, Ulaanbaatar, Moscow, and St. Petersburg (Russia), there weren't many people living in it which got them feeling a little uneasy.
"I don't get it, this doesn't make any sense," Curly peeped, looking around the strangely barren city.
"I thought a city like this which almost looks like what Hau'Oli City back home would be busier but this has nothing in it," added a confused Boltund.
"Yeah, where are all the people?"
"And, where are all the Pokemon and/or mythical creatures meant for city life?" Fennekin and Snom noted.
"It doesn't make sense, how come Ms. Wu didn't create codes to have people, more Pokemon, and more mythical creatures roaming around here as in the jungles, caves, and forests we went through?" Skiddo asked, completely stumped.
"So, since we're the only ones here, what'll we do now?"
"All we have to do is look around for wherever the clearing the map mentioned and deal with the final boss."
"And, that's as if we can beat Jin and Teng along with their dinosaurs and get them back along with the Fire Capsule," Persian, Zorro, and Kurma bantered.
"But, the city is so big and I don't see the clearing anywhere. Where do we start?" Delcatty reminded.
"If only we have a guide of some sort that can point us in the right direction to where the clearing, the final boss, and the Black Dragons would be waiting for us," pondered Guardeon, scratching his chin in thought.
"Um, excuse me... Are you all lost?" a tiny voice (male toddler's voice akin to Rugrats' Tommy Pickles, Chuckie Finster, or Phil DeVille) squeaked from behind the group, causing the heroes to look around and find it until they looked behind them.
The owner of the voice was actually a small green dragon that was roughly Oshawott's height but with black and yellow eyes, a long trail of liquid seeping from its nose, curvy purple horns, and on top of its head, a crystal ball and a tuff of dark orange fur/hair below it. The dragon also had a string of dark orange fur/hair lining its tail but it also wore an orange and white bib with a swirl mark on it. "I can help you with that," the dragon continued.
"Uh...What?" Eternatus said after a while in his stupor.
"It's another dragon," blinked Whisker in surprise.
"It's so tiny," Andres added, sharing his sister's surprise.
"Huh, where'd you come from?" put in Appa.
"No, no... Better yet, who are you?" Spike inquired.
"Oh, me? I'm Draggie Sniffle," the dragon, Draggie, cooed with a sniff.
"I-I just overheard you talking when you came into the city and since you're new here, I t-thought you might n-need some h-help."
"A l-l-local city d-dragon!" gasped Uxie in realization.
"That's great! Mind guiding us through this maze of buildings, shops, and skyscrapers, then, Little Guy?" Voltage smiled in appreciation as Draggie nodded eagerly in response.
"Hey, wait, who's that over there?" Parosea noted, seeing what looked to be an old woman with an old man at a bus stop.
"Let's see if they know anything about where we are and see what they also think," suggested Naxoreal.
"Good idea!" chirped Delosky cheerfully as they approached the old couple. "Excuse us, hellosies! We were wonderin' if you could, uh..."
"...SURPRISE!" sneered Jin and Teng as they made themselves known, giving the heroes and Draggie a fright as they jumped back.
"Hello, hello, hello, dearies, welcome to Level 10!"
"The game's over, girlie. You and your boy's time has come for both our master's return and your doom finally await you!"
"RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!" screamed Talonflame, prompting everyone to make a break for a hiding place.
"Follow me, q-quickly!" Draggie called, immediately taking the lead as he flew ahead of the group while Mist and Spark used their gas and flames to create a smokescreen to obscure the Black Dragons' view so they'll have a headstart in their latest escape.
"Where the bloody hell are we all going?!" Tsukumaro questioned, running as fast as he could to keep up with the little dragon.
"I know some friends who can help you escape! Uh... Over there, down that street!" continued Draggie as he pointed everyone to a street he apparently knew about until they saw a big restaurant ahead of them. "Quick, my friends are inside there! You can hide in there and we'll meet them!"
"Great idea! I'm hungry!"
"Me too, as long as we're not being chased!"
"Agreed!"
"I am pretty famished!"
"We're starving!"
"As long as they have honey added to my and Ani-Chan's food, we'll eat!"
"I'm not complaining!"
"Hurry, everybody! Inside, quick!" Dracovish, Arctozolt, Venom, Star, Camo's children, Hashimoto, James, and Nikki shouted in agreement.
With no time left to lose, Draggie led his new friends inside the restaurant and away from Jin and Teng to hide and have a much-needed meal. Once they were inside, they soon discovered that the interior of the restaurant was enchanted with the addition of the Extension Charm as it was large enough to include bigger Pokemon and larger mythicals like Nebby, Nebula, Reshiram, Eternatus, Faraji, Pyrrah, Sapphira, her children, and the rest of Sarah's entire group and family. Admittingly, it looked magnificent as its layout was inspired by the interior of the Hard Rock Cafe from Universal Studios but much larger and focused on other stuff like Pokemon, Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts, and other things of interest such as anything Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld. They didn't stop until they went inside a large dining room and they're behind six familiar figures sitting with nine peculiar creatures sitting at another table.
After catching their breath following their encounter with Jin and Teng, the heroes and Draggie started to relax and it was at that moment that they finally discovered the incredible interior of the restaurant. The heroes gasped in awe and fascination as they took in the magnificent sights and sounds of the restaurant hard at work as several human and Pokemon busboys and waiters/waitresses and cooks worked hand-in-hand as they served and cooked fabulous meals worthy of a five-star restaurant anywhere in the real world, in a five-star hotel, or in a world-class train like the Eastern & Oriental Express and the Venice-Simplon Orient Express. It was also packed as many Pokemon, mythicals, and surprisingly, cyber humans filled each and every table they could see enjoying their meals or ordering them already.
"Wow!"
"What kind of restaurant is this?!"
"Amazing!" "Holy-!"
"Odin, pinch us..."
"Cool...!"
"Awesome!"
"Oh, it's wonderful!"
"Neato!"
"Incredible!"
"Ah...!"
"I, LOVE IT!" some of the Pokemon, dragons, and mythicals cried, unable to contain their excitement.
Draggie giggled as he explained to them while they found some empty tables to acquire, "This is the Poke-Cafe 101 Re-Mix; it's the most popular restaurant in all of Cyber World, the city where most people and my friends all live in. I always love coming here; the people and Pokemon working and living here are all friendly and lively and they enjoy cooking and serving food to everybody that loves to eat and see what we have every day. And, on a high note, the food here is delicious! You can thank the creator of the game and her team for that, really."
"Wow, Draggie, Ming Wu and her team really went to town with this level!" Sarah admitted in total fascination, still trying to soak in the exciting atmosphere that the restaurant and everyone in it are exuberating.
"I never thought we'd be able to eat in a five-star Cyberspace restaurant like this," Race added, awestruck.
"This is absolutely fascinating! With this new-fangled technology, anything can be possible including all of this!" said Tsukumaro, his amazement having taken him over completely as everybody took their seats and watched the staff and Pokemon putting on a show as they served and cooked the food being prepared.
"Now, this is most satisfying," sighed James, feeling content as he sat down along with Nikki on one of the tables.
"This place is just extraordinary, Draggie, dear," smiled Nikki.
Draggie giggled again as he took his spot with Sarah on her spot, "And, it gets even better. Watch!"
From the doors leading to the kitchen, three Vanillites in blue aprons and cafe burettes came dancing out while using Psychic to bring in an array of additional offerings from Pokemon Cafe ReMix including Bouncy Brionne Soda, Burnt-Caramel Vulpix Sundae, Cheesy Rowlet Pizza, Cheesy Whimsicott Meatloaf, Chikorita Bruschetta, Decorated Alcremie Cupcakes, Eiscue Caprese Salad, Mimikyu Frightful Feast, Piquant Pikachu Curry, and Miltank Mix au Lait to the tables the heroes just occupied. Sarah was in awe of what she, Race, Nikki, Tsukumaro, James, her family, and their friends were witnessing and even her baby Pokemon and baby dragons' mouths watered and their eyes twinkled in uncontrollable excitement over the feast being laid out for everyone.
"Mmm!"
"Wow! Would you look at all this stuff, wowie!"
"Smells good!"
Looks good!"
"And, I bet it'll all taste good!"
"What a feast!"
"It's massive-bzzt!"
"This is the best food we'll probably ever have anywhere!"
"Now, THAT is a spread!"
"Now, I'm hungrier than ever!"
"There it is, our feast is here!"
"This feast is no doubt going to be 100% satisfactory!" some of Sarah and Race's Pokemon and mythicals cheered as they were all served.
"He-he-he! Here you are, on the house!"
"Welcome to Poke-Cafe 101 Re-Mix!"
"Enjoy your meal!" the three Vanillite servants/busboys smiled brightly.
"Wow, thank you!" gasped Sarah in delight.
"You're welcome, cheers!" the Vanillite trio bowed before they went off to continue serving more customers.
Left to have their feast in peace, Sarah, her family, Race, his team, and their friends (Draggie included) dug into their meals. Already, they could see why the place would be packed with much of the townsfolk in Cyber World and their Pokemon and mythical companions as the food and drinks that were cooked and sold were in a class of their own. They felt like they couldn't get enough of the food in the restaurant but then, Nikki turned to Draggie as she had a particular question in mind for him since they met the little dragon.
"Draggie, I know this is sudden but what are you doing out here? A dragon of your size shouldn't be wandering around a big city such as this," she quizzed.
"...Um, my Mommy and Daddy and I lived in this level but thirty minutes ago, some bad guys came into the city and started to attack us when they found us. I got scared and in my panic, I had to fly to the city to hide. Now, I'm lost and I don't know where they are or how to get back..." squeaked Draggie sadly, rubbing his arms while he ate.
"Oh... I guess you had a bad run-in with the Black Dragons as we have before coming here," Nikki sighed sympathetically as she reached her right hand out and rubbed him gently. "I'm sorry to hear that but if you like, we'd be glad to help you find them if they're out looking for you."
"Y-Y-You, you'd do that?" the tiny dragon peeped in surprise, only to get a kind nod and a sweet smile from her which made him smile back in appreciation. "T-Thank you..."
With that, the two of them, the rest of the former's family, and their friends continued with their feast until Sarah and Race got to the subject of the help that Draggie told everyone about which could give them a hand in dealing with the final level boss and Jin and Teng should they find the clearing they're looking for.
"You know, I've been thinking..." Sarah began, looking towards her boyfriend as they were sitting next to each other. "Draggie did tell us that he brought us here to find some help from some friends of his. But, are they really here or who exactly are we supposed to find?"
Race hummed thoughtfully as he looked around the customers at the tables around them in the dining room they're in. He didn't find anyone of interest that Draggie could be alluding them to but the Hoenn BF Champion suddenly blinked in surprise as he could've sworn he had seen six familiar figures at another table a short distance from them up north and joined by what looked to be nine mythicals that strangely looked like aquatic animals but wearing magical decals in the form of snow gear or otherwise. They were all having a meal as well with the six humans also having a familiar team of Pokemon mingling with them as they ate their own feast but they didn't seem to take notice of the new arrivals of him, Sarah, and the others with Draggie.
"Hey, Island Girl, recognize those guys over there on that table in front of us?" the BF Champion noted with a whisper, pointing Sarah to the sixteen figures and the six humans' Pokemon partners.
"Hmm, I don't know. I can't tell from where we're at but what are they all doing here and with some aquatic animals?" she replied curiously.
"Let's see who they are after we finish our meal. I have a feeling that they could be the friends Draggie has and alluded to when we first met him and accepted his help to find the clearing."
Sarah nodded in agreement as they and the others continued to have their feast none the wiser about the strangers who are supposed to be Draggie's friends. What they didn't know was that they'll be in for a surprise that Ming Wu possibly created for players in the game and a bit of deja vu will be at hand for them which could be of great help for the heroes in the upcoming final battle against the last level boss and Jin and Teng.
About half an hour later since they came to the restaurant and started their feast, Sarah, her family, Race, his team, and their friends had finished their feast and they prepared to meet Draggie's friends before leaving (with the Vanillite busboys from before giving them some complimentary meals as thanks for their coming and their praise to the restaurant). The two of them questioned Draggie about them and the creatures with them and their Pokemon, the little dragon being only too happy to introduce his friends to the heroes as he brought them over to their table.
"Hey, guys! I'm back!" he called excitedly, getting his friends' attention as they turned to him and the heroes with him.
"Oh, hi Draggie! Glad you made it, we were-" began one of his friends before...
"HUH/HUH/HUH?!" the two groups yelped in shock and surprise as they all reeled back while the other customers continued on with their own meals.
Draggie's friends were virtually Ash and the Pokemon School Gang (the cyber doubles' counterparts still dealing with the rest of the Black Dragons with the assistance of the Jungle Fury team in the real world) but instead of their normal outfits, the outfits they wore had slight differences to differentiate them from one another and their doubles:
Despite wearing the same outfits as their human counterparts, Cyber Ash was wearing an orange cap, Cyber Kiawe had yellow-orange tips in his hair, Cyber Lillie was in her real counterpart's Z-Powered form in full force, Cyber Mallow had her hair done in a ponytail instead of a double pigtail fashion, Cyber Sophocles had golden yellow hair, and Cyber Lana is distinguished by an azure blue stripe present in her hair.
True to Sarah and Race's earlier suspicions, their ten companions were indeed aquatic/oceanic animals (two dolphins (one blue wearing a sea star with a streamer attached and the other grey wearing a princess' crown (complete with a string of fabric stretching from her head to her tail fin)), two penguins (one wearing a hat and the other a rainbow scarf), two brown seals (both twins but with different sailor's outfits (one red and one both with white trousers and caps)), a studious sea turtle, a walrus wearing a red British minister's uniform, and an orca (killer whale) wearing a cowboy shirt and hat. However, the decals they were all wearing have some magical properties added to them so whatever they can do will be anybody's guess.
"Sir Ash, Ms. Mallow, kids!" spluttered Tsukumaro in bewilderment.
Silvally, stunned as his eyes bugged out from the sight of his mother's friends' cyber doubles and the mythical oceanic animals, stepped forward to check on one of them. Picturing the real Ash and Pikachu in his mind and comparing them to their cyber doubles, the older Synthetic Pokemon was in shock when he took note of how uncannily similar they really are apart from their hats and Cyber Ash's Pikachu was a Shiny. Even Cyber Ash and Cyber Pikachu couldn't help but share his shock as if they knew him somehow.
"ZOINKS!"
"Y-You look just like the real Kanto Turkey Brain and his Pikachu only with a different hat and he's a Shiny!"
"And, like, you look like our Sarah's Silvally apart from your colors!" Cyber Ash and Silvally bantered in shock.
Nikki and Cyber Mallow approached each other and they gasped as they took in each other according to the real Mallow and such, also unable to contain their shock.
"...I get it, you're all actually the characters in Ming Wu's video game!"
"And, you and your group are from the real world from what we've heard given the rumors jumping around Cyberspace!"
"Oh, God/Jinkies!" they told each other, still surprised.
"Bloody hell, I never thought I'd see you in Ms. Lillie's Z-Powered form for the first time. I knew there was a change in her from what I've heard but this is amazing," Tsukumaro said to Cyber Lillie in awe.
"Oh, yes, and my real counterpart's never one to slouch in her own fashion and looks depending on the circumstance," Cyber Lillie nodded before they hummed thoughtfully to each other.
"Wow, nice hair-dos," Race whistled, noticing Cyber Lana, Cyber Sophocles, and Cyber Kiawe's hairstyles and the changes done to them.
"Heh, works for us," smiled Cyber Kiawe.
Some of Sarah's Pokemon in her family went over to mingle with Cyber Pikachu, Lycanroc, Rowlet, and Torracat, Cyber Tsareena and Shaymin, Cyber Turtonator and Pyroar, Cyber Brionne and Sandy, Cyber Togedemaru and Charjabug, and Cyber Snowy. They examined each other funnily until they laughed and grew to like each other immediately, some of them sharing high-fives with them.
A few others from her mythical and dragon sides of the family looked on curiously at the aquatic animal mythicals with a few of the younglings being a little intimidated by the orca's size. But, eventually, they saw that the new mythicals who are also amongst Draggie's friends meant no harm and they soon became fast friends with no trouble at all. Some of the oceanic mythicals couldn't help but chuckle as the younglings started to play with them.
"Oh, you're all so adorable!" cooed the female penguin with glee, cuddling Sho.
"Now, now, settle down, you lot! One at a time, one at a time!" laughed the studious tortoise as he was crowded by Twilight and Dawn's adopted children.
"Wow, now that's trippy," Twilight remarked to Dawn (Deathgripper).
"No kidding, I don't know if my mind and my brain could take much more of this," her Deathgripper brother agreed, deciding not to question things anymore.
"Now, THIS is us somehow paying respects to or ripping off 'Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase', for real," added Mai, deadpanning.
"I guess Ming Wu's been getting lessons about our ranger history and taking creative liberties with it for the game, really," admitted Laitos, feeling awkward about the situation. "I won't be surprised if she also forwarded it to the greatest Power Ranger of all time: Tommy Oliver, and if she went a step further with what she got regarding those mythicals for our friends' Cyber Gang."
"She and her cyber creation buddies might be having too much fun with us while making this funhouse, Bro," Latias remarked with a sigh.
"And, I'm having to guess you all must be Draggie's friends as well since you got on well with the Cyber Gang and their partners?" asked Hydro, looking towards the oceanic mythicals.
"You're right there, little dragon. My name's Kong Mu, I'm what many people know as a Killer Whale or Orca," replied the Cyber Orca, Kong Mu.
The male Cyber Orca then turned to the other eight mythical oceanic creatures with him and the Cyber Gang, "These otters here are Ed and Eddy, my dolphin mate and her little sister: Stella and Donna, the Penguin Twins: Jim and Jenny, Mr. Studious the Turtle, and Minister Wilbur. We're also part of this crew and amongst little Draggie's friends, it's nice to make your acquaintance."
"Okay, now I'm getting some SeaWorld vibes looking at those guys," Sarah whispered to Race.
"Apart from their magical duds, I totally get what you mean," he nodded in agreement.
"So, you're all the mischief-makers responsible for all of the racket happening throughout all of Cyber Space," Mr. Studious examined after clearing his throat and looking at the heroes with great curiosity. "It's not every day we get to have creatures like you all from the real world, especially since you're the very first ones to ever cross over, if I may say so."
"As much as we'd like this to be a social visit, that wasn't our choice. Two enemies that are after us planned this and they'll be here any minute so we have to get out," Sarah replied to him.
"Your dragon buddy here brought us to this place not only for a meal but to get you to help us with our little predicament involving them," agreed Wyveon.
"Why?" asked Ed, confused.
"What's the problem?" pondered Cyber Sophocles.
"Wait, you mean you're not afraid of the Black Dragons and their pet lizards?" Skylar quizzed, surprised to hear how oblivious the Cyber Gang and their cyber oceanic friends were about their current enemies.
"Black what?"
"Never heard of them," Cyber Ash and Cyber Kiawe told the heroes, unconcerned.
"You're kidding!"
"You mean you guys don't know about those meanies and all the havoc they've been making?" Nebby and Nebula questioned in disbelief.
"Oh, yeah! I remember; the Black Dragons are still not a part of the game just like us after hacking it so they have no intention of any sort to go after you young ones since they've never heard of you," Faraji realized, putting two and two together.
"We'll be glad to help you all with them and the final boss if you're going after it. One problem: you'll need to have all of the Elemental Capsules if you're to go up against that guy. Aren't you supposed to have the Fire Capsule on you as well as the others?" Cyber Ash questioned, getting the feeling that the heroes are one capsule short.
"That there's the underlining problem, guess who's got the damn thing on them and using its contents against us right now," Race remarked, a little annoyed.
"But, there's something else you should know," put in Cyber Lana, having something else to add. "Aren't you guys supposed to have a chest on you as well?
"Chest?" the heroes echoed in confusion, looking at each other.
"If you want to go after the final boss, you'll need the chest buried at the end of Cyber World to do it. But, as far as we know and given our creator's cryptic nature with these kinds of things, it's tricky to find," Cyber Kiawe informed. "You'll have to both find it AND beat your enemies if you want to reach it."
"But, there's no need to worry. A great friend of ours may actually know where the chest you need to find is," reassured Cyber Sophocles.
"I think we better take this conversation outside if you want to get a move on," Wilbur suggested, he and the rest of the Cyber Gang having finished their meal and ready to move out. "Our transportation options: the Ocean Knight Train and the John Buggies are both waiting for us outside. I'll drive the train."
"What/Huh/Wha-?" the heroes blinked in surprise and confusion, leaving Draggie's friends to smirk at each other and the little dragon himself to give his new friends a cheeky wink.
After Wilbur generously left a tip for the staff and they left the restaurant, the two groups immediately went to the vehicles belonging to the Cyber Gang. Incredibly, the train was actually an eight-coach tram that looked like a train in the blue, white, and black colors of the SeaWorld parks and the John Buggies were actually Beach Buggies owned by the Cyber Pokemon School Gang and Cyber Ash inspired by the Beach Buggy cars designed by The Grand Tour's Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May but having their own designs based on their first Pokemon partners (i.e Cyber Pikachu, Cyber Tsareena, Cyber Brionne, Cyber Turtonator, Cyber Snowy, and Cyber Togedemaru).
Most of the younger, smaller, and medium-sized Pokemon and dragon hatchlings decided to ride with their new friends in the buggies or the tram in addition to the real humans including Sarah, Nikki, James, Tsukumaro, and Race but those that were too large to ride them including the adult dragons and Pokemon decided to fly or walk/run along with them or opt to stay in their balls until they reach their destination(s) (case in point - Cyber Kiawe's Cyber Turtonator and Cyber Charizard).
"Wow, this is nostalgic!" smiled James, seeing the Beach Buggies driven by the Cyber Pokemon School Gang while he and his family ride the tram. "I miss seeing Beach Buggies like them."
"Totally cool!"
"Nice rides!"
"Yeah, I'm sick of walking and running from danger after five hundred miles!" Zuri, Tifa, and Cinder peeped, glad for the chance to rest their paws.
"I gotta admit, those things humans called Beach Buggies and trams are not half bad for getting you all around," admitted Terrakion as he and his fellow Swords ran with the group (safe for Keldeo who decided to ride the tram for a change).
"You all must've taken a lot of inspiration from The Grand Tour by James May, Richard Hammond, and Jeremy Clarkson, haven't you?" Houndoom remarked to the Cyber Gang riding on their beach buggies with whatever passengers they have on them.
"You can thank our creator for these sweet rides! These are absolutely cool to drive and it's almost like they're our own Ride Pokemon on any and all roads!" Lana cheered excitedly. "Master Wilbur, you and your friends' tram is magnificent," Tsukumaro replied to Wilbur, who was driving the train-like tram (the engine at the front puffing smoke from a smoke generator in the engine).
"I've never ridden or seen anything as remarkable and comfortable as this."
"Compared to something like a theme park monorail, it would've normally been something like a tool from the stone age," Race commented, impressed.
"In Cyber World, things never get old. And, whatever trends that would be dated in your world are what you young fellows would call 'The Norm' all the time. Quite remarkable if I do say so myself," smiled Wilbur.
"There's a lot to like in this level we all call home; there's stores, theaters, gyms, parks of all sorts-you name it, it'll have what you need. And, of course, as you've just noticed, lots of tasty food," informed Kong Mu.
"But, what about the beasts and evil mythical creatures roaming around Cyberspace? Haven't you all seen a trace of them?" Nikki questioned.
"We haven't seen any, they're probably guarding the clearing and the final boss you're all looking for," explained Eddy simply.
Virizion was surprised when she and the rest of her group heard this, "You mean you young ones don't know where the clearing we're searching for right now is?"
"Oh, we know where the clearing's located along with the chest you need. There's just no reason for us to go after them unless otherwise."
"Because even if we get the chest and all of the Elemental Capsules and beat the final boss, we just go right back to the beginning of the game!"
"And, we like it here."
"Until you guys showed up with those Black Dragons that scared our friend, that is," Stella, Cyber Lillie, Jenny, and Jim said to the heroes.
"We'll gladly help you all get rid of them for you and all of Cyberspace."
"If we could," Dawn (Midday Lycanroc) and Misa added to them.
"...You know, if we all join forces against the final boss as well as Jin and Teng including this other friend of yours, those three and whatever help they have won't stand a chance!" Sarah suggested, an idea coming to her head.
The heroes and the Cyber Gang looked at each other curiously as they thought through the idea. This was going to be a huge gamble they'll all be making that would guarantee the final fate of Sarah, her family, Race, his Pokemon, and all of their friends. But, if it would help them escape from Cyberspace and defeat the ones desperate for Race and Sarah's Twilight Gem powers in their last gambit to revive Dai Shi, they have to go all out or go home and the latter was not an option given the danger they're in for.
"...I guess we're gonna go after that chest and clobber the final boss eventually!" smiled Cyber Ash in compliance while Cyber Pikachu gave an agreeing "Pika!"
"So, does that mean you'll all help us?" Lilac asked, her hopes and those of everyone else in her group rising. "Count us in!" "YEAH!" Draggie (resting on right Nikki's shoulder) and the Cyber Gang all shouted with daring smiles. "Well, alright then! Let's go!" signaled Sarah as they continued on their way.
They continued on their way and ten more minutes of peaceful driving later (thankfully, with Jin and Teng out of sight), they eventually arrived at a series of unassuming apartments, much to the confusion of the heroes as the Cyber Gang eagerly got off the tram and beach buggies.
"Well, here we are!" called Mr. Studious as the passengers and drivers all disembarked with the Pokemon in their Pokeballs released to rejoin the two groups.
"So, your friend you're talking about lives here of all places?" Race remarked, a little bewildered by the living conditions but getting confirming nods from the Cyber Gang. "Okay, so what does she do here of all places when she's not hanging around with you?"
"Doing some important research, of course. All with the help of not just us but a few... Shall we say, 'acquaintances', of hers, so to speak?" Ash replied, only giving off a little chuckle.
"...Thanks a lot, Mr. Cyrptic," grumbled Eternatus, giving off a small raspberry.
Since the apartment could only house so many and as Jin and Teng are still at large for all they know, most of Sarah's family and a majority of Race's Pokemon opted to stay outside and keep watch to see if they're around and deal with them. In the meantime, only Blitz, Bella, Robbie, the Swords of Justice, Zeraora, Magearna, Zorua, Sho, and Arrietty were able to enter an apartment with Race, Tsukumaro, Sarah, Nikki, and James that the Cyber Gang knows of amongst them.
The apartment they entered was a small one at that with some furnishings and décor that date back to the early 1900s; one section made up the living room which had a bed, couch, and fireplace and on the other end, there was only the kitchen with only a table and a sink for the dishes while some cabinets held plates, glasses, and bowls. It was unassuming for the most part in the interior as well as the exterior but it seemed adequate for one person who'd rather live in more modest and humble conditions compared to everyone else.
"...What a dump," Robbie replied awkwardly, getting a small elbow and a gentle shush from his mate.
"Gee, guys... It's, uh," Sarah began, rubbing the back of her head awkwardly as she looked around the apartment. "It's, it's really something."
"Blech, it could do with some much-needed renovations, though," Blitz replied, feeling grossed out.
"I'd agree... Uh, does your friend really live here or has it been abandoned before we came here?" Curly questioned, the group moving along as she noticed the light in the room above them flickering on and off repeatedly. "Uh, guys... I think we're not alone here, did you see that?"
"See what?" Sho asked before everybody took note of the flickering lights and he yelped, huddling close to his protective mother for comfort. "H-Hey, t-the lights!"
"Hey, who's fiddling about with the wiring on this place?" James demanded, not finding it funny to be a prank of some sort.
"Somebody should call a repairman to come and deal with this mess," commented Nikki.
"I think you don't have to bring in a handyman, look!" cried a surprised Zorua from atop Zeraora's head, pointing everyone to something that was playing with the string that operated the lamp.
That something was actually a small creature that was rodent-like in appearance with a long snout similar to the snout of a platypus paired with only a coat of black fluffy fur, making it look like a distant cousin of a mole even though it's a different animal altogether.
"'Oi! You there, you little Nipper, get down from there! That lamp you're playing with is not a toy!" shouted an unimpressed Tsukumaro, pointing towards the creature.
"You mean you know that little guy, Old Man?" blinked Race.
"That's a Niffler, Sir Race, a baby at that. Mischievous little buggers, they are; similar to Gerudon where I once came from back then except they hide things they've taken in their little belly pouches that act like Extention Charms in their own right."
"Hey, look!" Keldeo gasped, seeing two more baby Nifflers in the apartment (the second on a scale and the third on a nearby shelf).
"Oh dear, looks like the little cuties escaped from the suitcase again," sighed Cyber Lillie with a sheepish smile, her friends feeling the same way.
"Looks like we better round them up again, Jim," Jenny squeaked cutely yet sheepishly as the first baby Niffler broke the lamp string, tried to stuff it into its pocket, and then saw the apartment's visitors before it tried to escape when it jumped to the kitchen table.
"Guess so, let's get them back in before they stir up any more havoc behind our backs and start making our neighbors angry all over again," agreed Jim before they and the rest of the Cyber Gang set to work in catching the mischievous baby Nifflers.
"Wait, wait, wait, hold it! Whoa, back up, you mean to tell us that their escaping has happened before and this is not the first time they're fooling around in here?" Race questioned in disbelief. "I'm sorry but what kind of sick human, virtual or otherwise, would even have something as troublesome and fun-loving as them if they're just going to drive somebody bonkers?"
"That's what we've been trying to figure out ever since we met them but we decided it's not worth it after a while!" called Jenny, taking a small measuring cup and quickly covering up the baby Niffler before it could get away again.
The second Niffler tried to stuff its pocket with more items it had found before Ed threw a small olive onto the scale on the table and shot it into Cyber Mallow's open backpack as he said, "It's always been like them to pull these kinds of pranks one everybody each time they crawl out without us noticing! Our friend living here keeps them around 'cause she thinks they're funny and misunderstood!"
"Down here, Stella, Kong!" called Cyber Lana, pointing to the basement door as the third Niffler joined by a white baby Niffler played with an unopen champagne bottle and its cork.
"Oh, dear! Kids, please, don't do that! That bottle and its cork are not toys!" cried Stella, rushing over to the Niffler pair.
"You've got to be kidding," Terrakion balked before the bottle popped and sent the Nifflers riding on the cork right into the doorway and bounced off the wall while giggling, causing the heroes to yelp as they ducked to avoid them.
"Come here, you! This is no time for clowning around, please!" begged Cyber Lillie as she and Wilbur finally caught them before they could start any more mischief.
"There you are. Now, what have you all been doing while we were away?" Wilbur gently admonished the still-giggling pair.
"Somebody's going to be scarred for life and then stuck with these pranksters for who knows how long if they're made into pets!" balked Arrietty, seeing how chaotic things had been with the baby Nifflers mucking about.
"Nobody else would want them but the one thing we can all agree on is that they won't make life boring for the rest of your days," chuckled Mallow, tickling the baby Niffler she and Ed caught.
"Oh, and if you think that's wild, wait until you get a load of this downstairs! Ladies and gentlemen, if you like to step inside," called Eddy as he laughed, rushing down the basement door with the others following him after they got the mischief-making baby Nifflers in check.
They soon made their way to the basement to return the Nifflers back to wherever they came from and get help to retrieve the stuff they cheekily stowed away into their pockets. But, when the Cyber Gang cleared the stairs and the heroes finally emerged into the basement, what they found inside of it couldn't describe how shocked they were about the entire room.
"HOLY MOLY!"
"...Great Blistering Flamethrowers...!"
"Fascinating!"
"Wow!"
"Amazing!"
"What a pad!"
"It's awesome!"
"Incredible...!" the Pokemon gathered spluttered.
"Friends, what in the name of my creators is this?" gasped a stunned Magearna.
Before the heroes, the basement resembled what looked to be the basement of Newt Scamander, enchanted with Undetectable Extension Charm and holding a giant crisscross of stairs that led to different biomes for rescued and preserved creatures from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts franchises. From Kelpies, Fwoopers, and Hippocampuses to Graphorns, Thunderbirds, and Phoenixes, to Leucrottas and Nifflers; you name it, the enchanted zoo of a basement is bound to have some sort of magical creature in there. There was a trained Chimera, a female Nundu, and a Swooping Evil that were amongst the conservated animals.
To further add to the heroes' surprise, a large valley biome was in place which housed dragons from both franchises including the Chinese Fireball, the Swedish Short Snout, the Welsh Green, a Peruvian Vipertooth, a Ukranian Ironbelly, and the last dragon they wanted to see: the Hungarian Horntail.
"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Sarah Scamander's Enchanted Cyber Zoospace," declared Kong Mu proudly, gesturing to the entirety of the basement housing the mythical creatures before the heroes.
"Whoa!"
"AH!"
"T-T-They're, HUNDREDS! Are these creatures living here all of your friend's mythicals in one tiny yet unassuming city apartment?!" the heroes and Magearna gasped in total shock, unable to comprehend what they're seeing now.
"Oh no, tell me that's not a Hungarian Horntail living with all those dragons," whimpered Sarah, having bad memories about the previous Horntail she and Drogon had a near-miss with days ago.
"Why, yes. These creatures all belong to our friend who's quite the magical witch and conservationist herself," chuckled Donna as she and the rest of the Cyber Gang took the heroes on a tour of the enchanted zoo-like basement. "Each and every magical creature you see before you have all been tamed, raised, and happily brought up by her and I can safely say to you, much of them are as friendly and docile as you can get."
"Gee, sounds like your friend's been busy and what's more, her giant animal funhouse reminds me of a peculiar dome belonging to you-know-who," chuckled Race, smirking at his girlfriend who just gave a sigh as she blushed and looked away, a little peeved.
"Interesting, every single creature from my old world has been recreated and brought here and your friend has managed to find and save them and bring them all here in this little apartment with an enchanted basement that acts as her zoo laboratory," Tsukumaro put in, thoroughly impressed and in awe. "These animal biomes she created and her housing these mythical beasts from my old homeworld, the Wizarding World... Could it be possible your friend's a Magizoologist?"
"Yep, that's about it," Kong Mu smiled in confirmation.
"AND, she's also a gifted and knowledgeable dragonologist, don't forget. As with your animal-bound friend, she too has her way with all sorts of animals, especially these magnificent beasts. Never one to miss a trick with them," Draggie pointed out.
"Wait, wait, wait! Kong, you said...Sarah Scamander, does that mean-?" gawked Sarah, her jaw opening and dropping to the ground in disbelief from what she just heard until...
"Oh, Draggie, you and everyone else know everybody here is a living being and not a beast in the most gruesome sense," a posh young lady's voice (in her late 20s to early 30s) called sweetly as footsteps can be heard and everyone looked around. "No matter how big they'll all get with time or how dangerous they may appear to others who don't understand them, they'll my children, now and forevermore."
"Ah, Dr. Scamander, you're here," Kong Mu said, his smile and those of the Cyber Gang getting wider as the owner made herself known.
The heroes followed their movements as they saw what looked to be a 29-year-old woman with Sarah's facial expressions, a raspberry flat cap on her head, a royal blue trench coat covering a white shirt and black trousers, and black heels.
"Oh, Kong Mu, you're such a charmer as ever. Please, call me Sarah, we're friends as I'm sure you remember," chuckled the female doctor (voice reference: Mary Poppins - Mary Poppins Returns ft. Emily Blunt) as she fully revealed herself, a wand at hand (Cypress and Horned Serpent Horn, 12 and 3/4 inches, subtle and ready to defend when needed in the face of danger).
In addition to her current British clothing and the underlining English overtones and accent to her voice, the Sarah Scamander in front of the heroes and the Cyber Gang has golden brown hair and she had a pair of glasses which are completely different from the Sun Princess blonde hair and the lack of glasses. However, Race was blushing at his hardest as he took in Cyber Sarah's looks as he began to stammer, something that Sho and Zorua couldn't help but try to poke fun at.
"Can't find anything to say about her?"
"How about 'she's pretty' or 'bonkers beautiful', dude?" they sniggered just as Cyber Sarah took notice of her counterpart and her family with them.
"Ash, children, what a pleasant surprise. I've heard the rumors about my real-world double and her family making quite the fuss but now that you and our oceanic menagerie have brought them over after making a splash in the city, I can safely say that I believe them," smiled Cyber Sarah, her counterpart and her family blinking in surprise when they took in her British Mary Poppins accent.
"Oh, God... Ming Wu, you just had to make my Cyberspace double British of all things," Sarah groaned in embarrassment, causing Sho, Zorua, Blitz, and Curly to laugh uncontrollably while Zeraora, the Swords, her family, Robbie, Bella, and even Magearna tried and fail to stifle a snigger.
"Hope you don't mind, Sarah, but we caught the Niffler babies upstairs after they got themselves on the loose again," informed Kiawe as Cyber Ash and Cyber Lillie brought in the three babies they caught and Mallow came in with the baby she and Ed managed to wrangle.
"Oh, dear, you little rascals. That's the third time this month you decided to have fun behind my back while I'm doing my research and no mistake," sighed the amused Magizoologist, taking the Nifflers and putting them in a cage where five other Nifflers played in, filled with jewelry and gold before she waved her wand and cast a silent Accio spell to retrieve the items they stuffed into their pockets in their mischief.
"Please forgive them, dear chaps; these mischievous little buggers are some of the best escape artists I've come to know. Once something catches their eye and they play at it, they'll take whatever they can get and get to work on their little 'collections', to put it lightly. But, they mean well and would never harm anyone; they always wanted to use their habits to help others less fortunate than themselves. Anyway, you're all just in time; Feeding Time's just rolled along and it's time for me to give them their lunch."
Cyber Sarah went over to a large shed next to one of the biomes on the group's left and she came back while bringing out a cart full of food including berries, hay bales, and all sorts of other delectables for her creatures as she then said, "Come on, now, everybody! Feeding Time waits for no one, spit-spot!"
The Cyber Gang sighed when she mentioned "Feeding Time" but nonetheless, understanding her love for her creatures and knowing that they can't talk their way out of helping her, they set to work with helping her continue to care for her "children".
"Boy, with a cart that big and a food haul that large, she must be as busy with feeding them just as you are with our family, Princess," Zeraora quipped to his trainer in surprise as he blinked.
"She must really love her creatures if she's being as stringent as she is about them," commented Bella.
"Well, given her extensive care for them, I'd say she loves them more than anybody else could care to admit," Robbie replied.
"Should we...?" asked James knowingly.
"I guess we better give them a hand if it becomes a chore for them," Nikki nodded.
"Well, Island Girl, we finally found someone who's got the biggest menagerie of mythical animals compared to you," Race joked, much to Sarah's chagrin. "At least you'll find a new friend amongst them to take home and make things easier for them."
"I have no comment whatsoever," she retorted before blowing a playful raspberry at her boyfriend.
With nothing else to say, Sarah, her family, Race, Robbie, and Bella went over to help the Cyber Gang and Cyber Sarah, the Sun Princess taking one of the readied buckets standing by filled to the brim with fish over to an aquatic habitat which held three Kelpies, four Hippocampasses, and a pair of Sea Serpents - oceanic creatures that reached up to 100 ft. in length that had a horse-like face, pink shading on their undersides, and blue tops making up their upper bodies.
The three latter sea creatures species soon came up for their food after the scent of fresh fish covered in sea salt wafted their noses even after they surfaced with Sarah bringing out her wand to begin feeding them.
"Here you go," she called to them, using Wingardium Leviosa to feed them and make them happy with their meal.
All of the aquatic creatures gathered enjoyed their fill as soon as they were finished and they couldn't be happier for her help. But, as the Hippocampasses and Kelpies dove back underwater to continue their own business, the Sea Serpents remained top side.
This confused the little princess as they stared into her, catching her eyes as they looked into each other and she crouched down while holding out her right hand, wanting to try something. As she got her hand closer to the couple, the female Sea Serpent slithered closer until she was in range and nudged it gently, wanting to have some attention from her and prompting Sarah to rub her as she hissed happily while her mate looked on happily. Sarah didn't need to say anything as she smiled back at them.
"Well, well, I'd say you've earned the trust of those Sea Serpents," Cyber Sarah said, coming into the aquatic habitat behind her real-world counterpart and seeing everything.
"Docile creatures with a remarkably peaceful temperament, they are; never ones to be outgoing or outspoken even if they could speak. Trouble is, they've always been very distant towards the other creatures here, never bothering to mingle with them even if they tried. I had hoped to find a way to help them become more social and come out of their shells but unfortunately, I've no means to transport them beyond their enclosure."
Sarah thought for a moment but then, she remembered her and Race's suitcases that contained their current selections of mythical creatures before she told her double, "Well, you might not know this but my boyfriend and I and my godfather made suitcases that helped us to contain some mythical creatures we met prior to coming here and the new ones we met that decided to join us and my family. If you want, I can take care of them for you and make an aquatic habitat of my own for them inside my case. I'm sure they'll feel right at home with my other creatures."
"You'd do that? Well, now, I'm glad. Thank you, child," Cyber Sarah smiled in gratitude, her real-world double bringing out her suitcase and walking inside it before creating the habitat she promised next to Tesla and Callisto's habitat which was a large lake surrounded by a new brush of forests and mountains, not unlike the Highlands of England.
"It's ready!" she called to her cyber double from inside the suitcase.
The Sea Serpents were surprised and looked to their old caretaker/owner for her thoughts and her approval to which she gently cooed, "It's all right you two. Don't stand there staring, best slither forward into your new home. You'll be fine without me, I promise she'll take good care of you just as I have for all this time. It's time for you to take your first steps into a larger world. Spit-spot!"
Deciding to take her word for it, the Sea Serpents came out of the water and then carefully slithered their way into the suitcase, straight into their newly-built aquatic habitat. Needless to say, after taking it in following their initial moment of being speechless over what their new owner had built for them, they just smiled in sheer satisfaction and enjoyed it, feeling right at home as they joined Sarah and hissed their thanks.
"You can thank my godfather for researching what your home is supposed to be," she smiled at them. "You'll be happier knowing you'll be in a bigger world."
The Sea Serpents hissed their gratitude again with happy nods as they settled in and satisfied with their new creature comforts, Sarah exited her suitcase and rejoined her adult cyber double.
"I see they've already made themselves at home in your new biome for them, dear child," smiled Cyber Sarah in approval, knowing what she's thinking. "And, if I'm not mistaken from the rumors I've been hearing, you and your friends actually crossed paths with a Thunderbird, a Runespoor, and a Nundu at one point, correct?"
"Yeah, Telsa, Hydra, and Karabi, respectively... That was when my family and I and our friends first went up against the Black Dragons when they first attempted to take the Twilight Gem from Faraji and her friends in order to revive their master, Dai Shi," the princess confirmed.
"I see... Well, I know it would be something of a burden on the back of your mind. But, I wonder, would you and your boyfriend would like to have their opposite genders? Their female counterparts, to clarify?"
"Females?"
"They could do well with having mates of their own, can't do them any good to have them alone with no one to truly confide their thoughts to each other. As far as I'm concerned, some creatures are comfortable with being alone until they would eventually yearn for comfort and companionship they crave for."
"So, you're saying they've been loveless for who knows how long?"
Cyber Sarah just nodded in confirmation before she smiled and pointed to Race who was at the jungle biome and being nuzzled by her female Nundu, her female Runespoor, and her male Thunderbird, "I'm sure your boyfriend won't mind looking after them for me, if he's up to the challenge, really."
"Hey, Race! Need any help with your new babies?" Sarah shouted to him, the BF Champion managing to look at the two through his new friends' nuzzles.
"Ir-I'm-urgh-just-ah-peachy! No need-ugh, Island Girl!" he called in embarrassment.
Cyber Sarah just laughed as she and Sarah watched on in amusement, "My Kyoga, Adhira, and Rune can really smother you with affection if they found somebody they really liked, without question, without compromise!"
Tsukumaro, Nikki, and James were over at the avian enclosure, helping to feed the mythical birds Cyber Sarah has under her wing. The enclosure included a variety of mythical birds such as Phoenixes (such as a cyber double of Albus Dumbledore's pet and closest friend, Fawkes), Thunderbirds (in addition to Telsa and Adhira), Fwhoopers, and Swooping Evils (except the Swooping Evils were trained and raised to eat a diet of fish instead of human brains).
As Cyber Sarah did her best to raise them to be as friendly and docile as they can be so none of them could be a threat to strangers and friends unless they can prove that they can be trusted, Sarah saw that her adoptive parents and her godfather had won many of them over as they crowded around them while they were being fed.
"Sounds like you're all being a hit with this crowd!" she declared to them cheekily, making Cyber Sarah roll her eyes in amusement as she stifled a chuckle.
"Well, it appears we have given how affectionate these creatures have been," chuckled Tsukumaro, gently preening a female Phoenix (whom Cyber Sarah affectionally called Phoe-Phoe (pronounced "FiFi")) that landed on his right shoulder and started nuzzling him.
The same can be said for Nikki and James as they were lovingly endeared to two Fwoopers named Flitter and Flutter, both of them being no different from Skitty or Yamper in terms of size as they rested peacefully on their shoulders.
"Well now, my Fwoopers have taken a shine to you two just as Phoe-Phoe endeared that fine swordsman," Cyber Sarah continued to smile.
"If anything, we also like them. By the way, what's their dig? These little guys seem pretty harmless enough," James replied.
"And, they're just so adorable!" cooed Nikki as Flitter continued to play with her while he's on her left shoulder.
"Ah, well, my research into them told me that the song those chatterboxes sing can drive people insane but these two are unique because they hate singing. My guess is that they've gotten tired of their species doing that and would rather spend the rest of their days having fun and resting and getting to know other creatures. They seem to find you interesting as far as I can tell."
Flitter and Flutter shook and nodded their heads in agreement to everything Cyber Sarah told the two (the former in the fact that they don't like to sing and the latter being that they'd rather do anything and everything else other than singing) as they cutely crossed their arms and gave adorable little "Mm-Mm" or "Blech!" sounds (while sticking out their tongues in disgust and pointing to them) and "Mm-Hm" sounds and smiles to emphasize her point.
"Oh, they really hate singing that much? Why is that?" blinked Nikki in surprise as she gently rubbed Flitter's head.
"Search me but I feel that they're the most well-behaved creatures I have in my stead because of that. I've never had any trouble with them ever since I decided to take them in as my own."
"Maybe you can take them as your own since they hate singing and they like you two," Sarah suggested, chuckling.
"Well, I suppose it won't be too bad with them given how well-behaved they are," sighed Nikki, smiling at the happy Flitter.
Flutter and James felt the same way as the female Fwooper nuzzled his face again with a bright smile. Cyber Sarah just continued to smile, knowing that some of her mythical creatures in her care would be in good and equally-loving hands.
"Well, Ms. Cyber Sleuth, what's this I see? Handing your babies away to some new friends of yours?" called another British voice, the Cyber Magizoologist, Sarah, her family, Race, and their new mythical critters turning to find an older Cyber double of Race (voice reference: Newt Scamander (Fantastic Beasts ft. Eddie Redmayne) and in his early 30s) coming down a random flight on the criss-cross stairway leading down to them.
Surprisingly, in contrast to Cyber Sarah's overall appearance as a virtual Mary Poppins, Cyber Race looked more like Fantastic Beasts' Newt Scamander down to a similar round of attire (black trenchcoat jacket over ) and hairstyle (his hair being brown-black in color) of the famous Magizoologist. And, this time, Sarah failed to resist blushing at the sight of her boyfriend's British virtual counterpart.
"Oh, my God... Ming Wu, are you serious, you muppet?" groaned Race, holding the bridge of his nose and cringing in embarrassment as he looked away from his Cyber Double in the Jungle Biome while Kyoga, Adhira, and Rune did their best to comfort him.
Cyber Sarah just smiled as she looked at who was apparently her boyfriend/future husband coming from the stairs, "So nice to see you again, Race."
"Good to see you again, M'dear-Oh? Hello there, Gov', you must be my twin from the real world and those five must be your love and her loved ones. My name's Race, Race Goldstein," chuckled Cyber Race as he joined Cyber Sarah and looked him over from his spot. "Bloody hell, you look like the spittin' image of me back then. I was just your age when Sarah and I took our first steps into a larger world in Cyberspace after we were created."
"So charmed. And, how is Kitten the Pirate getting along?" Cyber Sarah quizzed.
"Oh, she's doing good last time I've heard of her, been very busy according to her previous letter to me and our aquatic crew here at home along with our friends. Travelin' the world she is, off to points unknown and always seeking adventure. Never one to relax and take it slow once she has adventure and fun on her mind, that she's not."
"Well then, a little while later, I'm off to assist in giving our new friends here a hand in leaving Cyberspace on account of a spot of trouble a couple of nasty buggers had gotten them into. I'm also wondering if you would like to give us a hand in the matter if you're not too busy on your end regarding that conservation campaign for those endangered ShiShi lions those hunters have been chasing after."
"Oh, good, I'm glad to hear it," Cyber Sarah smiled happily, the two of them kissing each other which shocked the younger real-world couple.
"Wait, wait, hold on a minute! You're both kissing!"
"Are you both dating?!" the two spluttered to their adult cyber doubles.
Cyber Race just chuckled over their reactions and dropped a bombshell that got the mythicals around them and the pair's Pokemon with them along with Nikki, James, and Tsukumaro laughing like crazy, "She's my wife."
The news over Cyber Race and Cyber Sarah's marriage and the fact that they're both husband and wife left Race and Sarah speechless as they comically fell and their jaws dropped completely to the ground in sheer shock. None of them could believe what they were hearing and it started giving James and Nikki ideas as they could predict wedding bells ringing in their ears as well as Doug and Delilah's in the near future. Sho and Zorua were getting the most fun out of seeing their reactions as they fell to the floor and rolled around, laughing uncontrollably.
"YOU MEAN TO TELL US YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A WIFE IN MY DOUBLE?!"
"YOU'RE ACTUALLY MARRIED TO MY DOUBLE, TOO?" the real-world pair screamed, completely flabbergasted over the bombshell.
"Why are you so shocked? Won't you eventually have babies to take care of eventually when you come of age someday?" chuckled Cyber Sarah, shocking the pair again.
"BABIES?!"
That did it for Nikki and James as they also began laughing uncontrollably and began having ideas for the pair's future wedding. Even Tsukumaro, having already given his blessings to Race, couldn't help but stifle his inevitable laughter over the eventual possibility of having more of his own godchildren.
"I'll have the wedding bells ready when you're all grown up!"
"I'll be expecting some grandkids when you're ready!" Nikki and James laughed.
"NOOOOOOOOO!" bellowed a flustered Race and Sarah, making their present company around them laugh even harder while Cyber Race and Cyber Sarah continued to smile in amusement over their counterparts' panic.
After Sarah and Race, uh...(CLEARS THROAT)...composed themselves from the revelation that they'll eventually be married upon their eventual adulthood and once everyone's laughing fits had subsided, Cyber Race went over to the mythical bird biome before approaching a nest made out of curled bamboo. It laid on the floor and housed four baby Horned Serpents and four baby Occamies but the pair was thrown for a loop because all of them resembled Nimbus, Neptune, Orion, and Orchard to a tee and since they were all newly hatched, they were only about a foot long. As with all babies, they started to cry for the comfort of their parental figure.
"Shh, shh, I'm here, kids. Look at Mommy, dearies, I'm here. Don't cry now, Mommy's got you," cooed Cyber Sarah as she joined her husband after hearing their cries and picked them up by their nest, allowing their crying to start slowing down once they felt her presence. "Everything is all right."
"Those Horned Serpents were just born and found a few days before you finally came here. Always craving for attention as with all babies, they are; they're currently the youngest lot," Cyber Race said.
"Oh, really? Well, we actually found Nimbus and Neptune in the same way while we were on our way to Level 2," Sarah replied, getting her boyfriend's cyber double's attention.
"Oh? And, pray tell, who are these Nimbus and Neptune you speak of?"
Cyber Race soon got his answer when the two Horned Serpents popped out of Sarah and Race's sleeveless shirts after hearing their names and his voice with widened eyes. The two of them hissed in surprise when they saw the magizoologist but when they turned to the babies in Cyber Sarah's care and hissed in relief, this drew their attention as they looked over in shock to see them. Cyber Sarah was in awe from what she was seeing from Sarah and Race's shirts but the babies couldn't hold back what is their joy and happiness as they cried for their supposed parents with Nimbus and Neptune confirming this as they slithered down from their owner couple's shirts and nuzzled them happily as tears of joy and relief streamed from their eyes while Cyber Sarah smiled warmly.
Cyber Race soon started to laugh heartily as if he was amazed and overjoyed over what he's also watching before his very eyes. "Oh, I never thought those two would end up finding their way back thanks to you two!" he chortled joyfully.
"Okay, I wasn't expecting that..." began Race awkwardly and in surprise.
"Wait a minute, are those two and those babies actually a family?" Sarah asked as Nimbus and Neptune happily hissed at Cyber Sarah as they tearfully nuzzled her.
"By all means, you can thank those Black Dragon buffoons for separating those two from their babies. When they hacked the game and started causing all sorts of havoc, they and their babies were unfortunately caught in the crossfire and they had been forcefully separated from them when their lives were in danger before we discovered what happened. We thought they had been killed after we found them and we had to take them in as their own but it seems fate smiled down upon them when you saved them."
The joy the Horned Serpent family showed was made clear as Nimbus and Neptune happily hissed at and nuzzled their babies who were delighted about the attention they were receiving from their parents to make up for the time they lost after their separation.
"You know, if you two don't mind having them back for their babies' sake..." Sarah began.
"Oh, don't worry about it. We don't mind; we're just relieved and thankful that because of you, no harm has come to them," Cyber Race reassured before they were interrupted by a pair of "OW!" sounds followed by a breaking sound from upstairs.
"What was that?!" gasped Sho, bewildered from the crash.
"It's coming from upstairs!" Cyber Lana shouted.
"Somebody's gone through the door!" added Kong Mu.
"But, who could've followed us after we left?" pondered Donna worriedly.
"Watch your feet, you big oaf!"
"It wasn't me, you idiot, it was the house!"
"Oh, of course! The house felt like lifting its boards while we're trying to find those meddling kids for the gem's powers!"
"Well, forgive me if I couldn't find my footing in this topsy-turvy dump, Ge! You saw those blasted cars and train and the girl's menagerie parked outside so they're here somewhere!" snapped what sounded like Jin and Teng.
"It's the Black Dragons!" Nebby cried in alarm.
"They're here!" shrieked Rapidash's children.
"Oh, what impertinence! Those troublemaking ruffians must be back; thankfully, my Anti-Intruder Jinx was put in place to catch any unsavory types from entering without warning," grumbled Cyber Sarah as she took out her wand (which surprisingly looked like Albus Dumbledore's Elder Wand) and prepared to make off with the Black Dragons as she headed upstairs. "I'll be right back. Now, make sure everybody's safe, and should they get past, do not let them touch my children."
"Hey, wait up!" called Sarah, immediately pulling out her wand and rushing after her double along with Race and Tsukumaro as they pulled out their own wands.
With the four wizards and witches joining forces (and Cyber Race making his way up with them) as they arrived at the door and carefully peeked out from behind it, they saw Jin and Teng searching the house (having managed to use a form of Apparition to sneak inside and bypass Sarah's family). They looked high and low on the main floor and they've searched the second floor upstairs but they were having no luck in finding Sarah and Race.
"Those Kung Fu dumbbots are trashing your home," whispered Race to Cyber Sarah.
"It's just as the rumors and our friends told us about your predicament with them, those ruffians are trying to get to you for your powers by any means necessary for their deceased master," nodded Cyber Sarah, glaring at Jin and Teng. "With your lives on the line and with how far they're willing to go for their mission, we can't afford a mistake since we still need to get you home."
"But, we still need the Fire Capsule they still have on them and the chest the others mentioned to take on the last boss and leave," reminded Sarah.
"Then, I suggest it's time we initiate the element of surprise and if it all goes to plan, you can make it to the final boss and your way out without trouble," Cyber Race suggested, he and his wife nodding to each other as they held their wands at the ready (the older magizoologist's 11-inch wand fashioned from English Oak with a White River Monster spine core, produces spells of force and elegance).
"Now, I promised we would help you get out of Cyberspace but if we don't show up at your current location in three hours, do what you can to find the chest, retrieve the capsule, and punish the monster you find in the clearing," instructed Cyber Sarah to Sarah. "Take the others with you and your family and please look after my babies you're taking under your wing, you and your darling. Raise them well, keep all of them happy and safe in your hands."
"Wait! What about your children?" Sarah protested as they readied themselves.
"You're more vulnerable if you stay here and we still have them here because of the Anti-Intruder Jinx I've placed on it. I even took precautions on them chasing you from my basement so should they get past us and end up on this stairway there, they should eventually end up in our bedroom and end up right back where they started. My children will be alright knowing they're safe this way since nobody else knows about the basement except for our friends and us. You've done a lot for the innocence in Cyberspace, now it's our turn to return the favor."
"Take the flight down to the passageway leading to the garage in the back. Then, once you're in the clear, get to the tram and the beach buggies. The chest you need will be along the path to or at the clearing so keep your eyes open and leave no stone unturned, we'll deal with the Black Dragons or destroy them until you get to safety and we take the capsule for you," added Cyber Race in agreement.
Tsukumaro, Race, and Sarah looked at each other worriedly as they considered Cyber Sarah and Cyber Race's words, feeling unsure if they'll keep their word and reunite with them and their other friends to help them complete their mission to get out of the game and destroy the Black Dragons.
"Now, go!"
"Right," nodded Race, deciding to trust them as he led Sarah back to the biome basement to tell the others and carry out their plan.
"We'll hold them off!" finished Cyber Race as he left first to deal with the Black Dragons.
"Prin-Professor!" Tsukumaro called before Cyber Sarah could join her husband as she turned to her counterpart's old advisor. "Be careful..."
Cyber Sarah nodded reassuringly before she went through the door before they started to fire combative spells at the Black Dragons while they did a dabble of close combat (the two of them supposedly being programmed by Ming Wu during her game's development to use Kung Fu and Tai Chi), hoping to stall or destroy them to give the heroes enough time to escape.
While Cyber Race and Cyber Sarah did their best to put up a front to keep Jin and Teng's attention on them, Tsukumaro, Sarah, and Race returned to the basement with the mythical creatures, the Cyber Gang, and the Pokemon with them looking at them worriedly. Their worries were amplified when they noticed that Cyber Sarah and Cyber Race didn't join them and they heard some crashing noises and the sounds of punches and kicks being flung from different directions coming from the main floor.
"Sarah, what's going on?"
"What's happening topside?"
"Where are Professor Sarah and Dr. Race?" asked Jim, Cyber Ash, and Mr. Studious.
"Bad news, guys. The Black Dragons ARE here and they snuck past my and Race's Pokemon and dragons and even our mythical creatures looking for us," Sarah informed, causing everyone gathered to gasp in shock.
"It's too dangerous for us to stay here. Our doubles are both doing their best to stop them and get the Fire Capsule they have on them with the help of the professor's Anti-Intruder Jinx but we don't know how long they'll last until they'll join us," Race added.
"What are we gonna do?" Cyber Mallow asked worriedly.
"We got to get you all home so we better head for the clearing where the final boss is. We know where it is and we're in luck, a carnival's in town during our summer vacation and it's in that very clearing where the boss is sleeping," Cyber Kiawe explained to the heroes. "The good news is the basement is enhanced so if you didn't know yet, they won't do the creatures here any harm and they'll end up looping back to where they started."
"We know, they told us," Tsukumaro replied.
"Then, let's not waste any time. We must evacuate and make haste for clearing and the carnival at once, the chest we need must be there as well," agreed Wilbur.
"Let's go, then! Nimbus, Neptune, come on!" Sarah called to her and Race's Horned Serpents who nodded and then proceeded to rejoin their owners with their children following suit.
"Come on, kids, this way!" Arrietty shouted, ushering the pair's babies onto her back as her son joined them.
"Come on, come on, come on! Hut, hut, hut, hut, hut! Move it, people, sometime today will be nice!" Zorua screamed, acting like a drill sergeant before she found four baby Nifflers including the three that caused trouble for the group before breaking out of their cage again and quickly scurrying over to Sarah. "Oh, no, you don't! You're not going anywhere, not unless you want to make any more trouble! The real world's not a place for you!"
"Hold on a minute, Zorua! My double did tell me she wanted to use their habits to help people less fortunate than us, I did this with Gerudeon, you know. Maybe they can help us with what we're doing," Sarah replied, her attention now on the little troublemakers and Zorua as she allowed them to scurry into her hands while they hurried to the exit. "I know they're going to make trouble for all of us should we decide to bring them to the real world but I'm sure she won't mind if we take them off her hands and allow them to give struggling families and poor people a helping hand."
"Are you sure you want to humor them, Ms. Royal Two-Shoes?"
"Trust me, they're just misunderstood and they never meant any harm. If I can get them to learn to help others instead of pulling pranks 24/7, they can help change our world for the better."
Tsukumaro sighed as he looked at his goddaughter and the Nifflers wanting to come with her and eventually relented as he turned to her, "I suppose they could do some good for all of us... Alright, you can bring them with us. But, remember, they're your responsibility and you have to keep an eye on them before they drive all of us insane."
"Don't worry, I won't," Sarah promised.
"Mom, I hate to ruin your moment with them but can we get a move on before the Black Dragons somehow ambush us?!" shouted Blitz, as they continued to make their way to the tram and the beach buggies outside.
"What about your doubles?" added Curly, concerned for Cyber Race and Cyber Sarah.
"They'll be fine, we gotta get going! They said they'll join us as soon as they get the Fire Capsule from them!"
"There's the door!"
"Everybody out!"
"Hurry up!" Cyber Lillie, Cyber Lana, and Cyber Sophocles called, the group and the mythical creatures joining them having arrived at the door leading to the garage.
"If we go through the garage, the beach buggies and the tram along with the rest of your family should be outside, Sarah!" Draggie informed he opened the door and they dashed inside the garage (which housed two more beach buggies belonging to Cyber Race and Cyber Sarah) and opened the door leading outside where they reunited with the Cyber Gang's beach buggies and tram along with the rest of Sarah's family and Race's team.
"Sarah! Are you alright, what's happening?"
"What's with all the racket in there?"
"Did you guys get hurt?" Totem Marowak, Shadow, and Lilac questioned.
"Bad news, guys! The Black Dragons somehow snuck inside our doubles' apartment and now, they're trying to hold them off! We gotta get out of here and head for the clearing!" the princess said, the Cyber Gang and the heroes with them jumping back into their beach buggies and the tram (with Wilbur back in the driver's seat).
"The Black Dragons, in that shabby old building?!"
"How did they know we'd be here after we lost them?" cried a shocked Ella and Freezeon.
"Who cares? Let's get out of here before they find out we're leaving and jump us before we make our getaway!" Sunset retorted.
"But, who are your doubles?" Helioseon asked Sarah as he and his family joined some of the group in the tram.
"I'll explain on the way! Wilbur, you and the others know where the clearing and this carnival are since it's where the chest we also need is! Lead the way!"
"You got it! Hang on, everybody, we've no time to waste!" Wilbur nodded, putting in full power as they all got away fast.
As Wilbur made his escape while driving the tram to wherever the clearing and the carnival it's in are, Cyber Ash, Cyber Mallow, Cyber Lana, Cyber Lillie, Cyber Sophocles, and Cyber Kiawe (along with whatever passengers they had before) quickly went after him and his passengers in their beach buggies while the rest of Sarah's family either ran or flew alongside them as they made their getaway.
"This escape better be worth it, Pipsqueak! You better have a good excuse for bailing out like that!" Eterantus snapped as he looked towards his trainer.
"It will, Eternatus! The chest we're looking for may possibly be at the clearing and the carnival and my and Race's doubles will hopefully finish off the Black Dragons coming after us!" Sarah replied, keeping an eye out for the clearing and the carnival as everybody blazed through the streets of Cyber World and helping the Nifflers with her hold on tight so they won't fly off. "If anything, I won't be surprised if they're proving to be too much of a challenge for Jin and Teng to take down if they really are a master witch and a master wizard judging by the spellcasting we heard inside!"
The trip was long as everybody had to traverse through rough terrain after going out of Cyber World's city limits and into the outskirts while they left the comforts of the city's paved roads for dirt roads and made their way through a path that led to the clearing the heroes needed to get to in order to beat the game. About half an hour later and after much thinking on what they'll have to do once they come face to face with the final boss, the entire group finally arrived at the packed summer carnival in the fairgrounds they were assembled on.
"Last stop: Cyber Carnival! Everybody off!" announced Wilbur, activating his tram's whistle as everybody disembarked the tram and their beach buggies to begin their search for the final boss.
"Wow, this is crazy!" gasped Race as the group maneuvered through the crowds packing the entire carnival.
"You're telling me, the whole place is packed! And, it's TOO LOUD!" cried Skylar, doing her best to stay close to her parents as she tried to block out the excited yells and screams of the carnival-goers going on the rides.
"Oh, man..." whimpered Tou-Tou as he scooted closer to his brother, once again feeling claustrophobic.
"Let's just stay together so we don't get lost since the Black Dragons and whatever they hacked could be after us," Sarah suggested before she turned to Cyber Ash. "So, you guys mentioned that this chest is one of the last things we need in order to beat the final boss and get out of here. You know exactly where it is?"
"Indeed, I've never seen such an event as huge as this. And, given its size, the chest could be anywhere and we'll have to search high and low for it," added Tsukumaro.
"On the beach bordering the Cyber Sea, of course. Almost akin to something like pirate's buried treasure as in the Pirates of the Caribbean," Cyber Kiawe noted.
"Turton," Cyber Turtonator noted, pointing down a path that'll lead the entire group to the location of the hidden chest.
"So, you also have a beach in this clearing we're heading for?" Nikki pondered.
"Oh, don't you get it, guys? That clearing we're looking IS the beach, the Cyber Sea wasn't shown on the map since it ended right at the farthest edge of the clearing and the map you have predates even our current time," chuckled Mallow in amusement. "But, since it led you all the way out here and you've collected all of the pieces, I'd say it still does its job regardless of how dated it was."
"You've got to be kidding-bzzt," buzzed Manteon in disbelief as they reached the path and made their way to the beach, only for a familiar beat of percussion to ring out and draw everyone's attention.
"Hey, what's that?" asked Jim.
"It's getting louder!" Ed said as the drumming got louder.
"And, louder with every beat!" added Eddy.
"The Jumanji drums again!" gasped Sylveon in realization.
"I'm guessing you guys ran into the game's bosses after you heard those drums the further you went, huh?" Kong Mu questioned, seeing Sarah and her family bracing themselves for the supposed last boss fight.
"Those drums weren't pretty and neither were the bosses that they welcomed," replied a cautious Flo.
"But, what or who is the final boss of this level?"
"And, where is the boss itself?" Rubble and Starfire puzzled.
"Probably something that has to be more powerful than every other creature we've encountered thus far including that Hungarian Horntail but it's better than having to deal with a nasty piece of work like it, that stupid Sandbuster, or those raptor surfers," theorized Shadow as they continued to move on but remain wary of their surroundings and who or what could be around them as the drums banged louder and faster.
However, that would soon change as they eventually reached an extensive beach at the edge of the path they went on that was a fair distance from the carnival. The drums were now at their loudest and being banged at the fastest a player's ever played them which told them they've reached the exact location where the final boss is sleeping at. Thankfully, it had little to no people around it which meant that it was abandoned/deserted and nobody wanted to claim it for themselves which drew a sense of awe from the heroes.
"Now, this is groovy..." Wyveon remarked.
"Groovy, groovy, groovy!" echoed Poipole excitedly.
"Anybody wanna hang ten?" Hydro quizzed, raring to go for a swim again.
"Not so fast, Little Hydro," Calculator rebuffed, sensing that the group is not alone. "I have a 93.9% strange feeling that we're not alone as we might think."
"I'm having a 100% chance that we might've just run into trouble by coming here. And, by trouble, the big kind is what I mean!" argued Nitro.
"You think that if this is where a final boss is sleeping right now, it'd be wide awake by now," put in Azul.
"And, who are we even supposed to fight to get out of here?" demanded Rocky, wanting to know what boss they're up against this time.
The group soon got their answer as the ocean in front of them started to bubble violently at about 20+ ft. from where they're currently standing. Then, without warning, a pair of familiar tentacles with mouths on them at the ends shot out of the water before the rest of its gigantic draconic body appeared including a small part that acted as the head of the creature. But, as more and more of the creature appared, it wasn't long before the creature revealed itself fully as it roared loudly, much to the horror of Sarah, Nebby, Nebula, Zorua, Zeraora, Dawn (Midday Lycanroc), Beautifly, Seviper, Star, Poipole, and the Legendary Beasts.
The creature was none other than the 7th Ultra Pillar/the Dragon of Gluttony and the most dangerous of the Ultra Beasts that the Aether Foundation has uncovered thanks to them and from their meeting Dia and his Zeraora, Guzzlord.
"GUZZLORD!"
"It's the Dragon of Gluttony!"
"But, that's impossible!"
"How can it be here?!"
"Who told Ming Wu about thissssssss monsssssster and put it here?!" Sarah, Zorua, and a terrified Dawn (Midday Lycanroc), Beautifly, and Seviper screamed.
"NOOOOOOOO!" Nebby and Nebula shrieked in fear.
"How did Ms. Wu know about Guzzlord and why would she put it in the game as the final boss?" Suicune questioned, greatly concerned.
"I'll betcha the Black Dragons somehow did a little digging and managed to change the code for her original final boss and made it that monstrosity, Sis," growled Raikou, not looking forward to battling Guzzlord again.
"I won't be surprised if they did that after hacking into her game," Entei nodded, knowing what they're in for one hell of a boss battle this time.
"Is that Guzzlord?"
"The same Guzzlord you fought in Dia's universe, Ponchita?" breathed a stunned Nikki and James.
"That's it but thankfully, this one could be a digital clone of the real thing," Sarah nodded.
But then, Tsukumaro gasped as he saw something coming out of the water and joining Guzzlord, "Blistering Boldores! There's something coming this way!"
The creature that came up alongside Guzzlord turned out to be not one but at least five ghost-like pirates, one of them being completely dressed in red and with an eyepatch as he gave a malicious sneer towards the heroes, "ARGH! Not so fast, you scurvey dogs! If you want to get out of this death trap, you'll have to get past US!"
"Jeepers! It's Red Beard and his pirates from Scooby Doo!" cried Mai in fright.
"Red what?" blinked Cyber Lana in surprised confusion.
"He and his crew are a few of the villains a cartoon dog named Scooby Doo and his friends once foiled in a TV cartoon from our world!" noted Mulan, also aghast.
"And, it looks like they got a few pets!" added a flustered Freezeon as they saw five sharks swimming next to the pirates and standing on their legs as they gave menacing growls.
"Those are the Shark Men from the eigth episode of The New Scooby Doo Movies featuring Sonny and Cher, they were actually sea scavengers working for Milo Meekly pirating a sunken treasure of Spanish dubloons!" Wooloo noted in shock.
"What's that coming from the left side?"
"They're coming in fast and furious!" shouted Hurricane and Amber, seeing two more figures appear as they revealed themselves to be a pirate with an iron plate for a face and a mythical creature that looked like a combination of a Hippocampus and a Manticore joining the villains already present for the final boss fight.
"Not Ol' Iron Face!" Scorch freaked.
"What in Thor's mane is that?!"
"I've never seen anything like it!"
"It's a mythical hybrid but what?"
"It's the Sea Haunt from Jonny Quest!"
"It's a Manticore and a Hippocampus combined into one!" screamed a stunned Melody, Echo, Starfire, Charger, and Tyrunt.
"Head back to the carnival and warn everyone to clear out!" ordered Shadow, having everyone else preparing to backtrack.
But, they didn't get very far and back to the path they took from the carnival as another sea monster that had one eye, green tentacle-like flails on its head, a yellow body, and orange pincers, another sea captain and two monsters that looked like a mutated octapus and a kelp-like being, and a giant shark blocked their way back as they glowered at the two groups as they gasped and cried in shock and horror.
"It's the Creepy Heap from the Deep!"
"Along with Captain Pescado and his Octapus and Kelp Monsters!"
"And, the Demon Shark!" shrieked the terrified Night Lights.
"We're surrounded!"
"Oh, no! Here they come!" Piplup and Fennekin cried out as Guzzlord's allies prepared to attack the heroes as they got closer and braced themselves for an attack.
"What'll we do?!" panicked Buneary as she hid behind Medusa.
"We should run!"
"We should hide!" Dracozolt and Arctozolt suggested worriedly.
"We should kick their butts!" retorted Glastrier, seeing no other option as they all wondered what to do.
Meanwhile, back in their apartment, Cyber Race and Cyber Sarah were continuing to hold their own against Jin and Teng as the four fighters duked it out. But, using a combination of their martial arts and their magic in accordance to Ming Wu's programming of them, the Black Dragons were finding it hard for them to put down the pair as quickly as they had hoped. No matter how hard or how fast they land their blows on them, Race and Sarah's adult cyber doubles wouldn't back down and were very persistent against them.
"Phew, these bastards have put up quite a fight!" sighed Cyber Race.
"At least we have them right where we want them, love!" reassured his wife.
"You're both stubborn ones!" snapped Teng, panting.
"Runs in the family, fools!" spat Cyber Race simply as he and Teng went at each other again and Jin-Cyber Sarah.
"Surrender the kids now in you'll regret messing with Dai Shi's finest warriors, the Black Dragons, Witch!" bellowed Jin as he and Cyber Sarah find themselves in a hand-to-hand deadlock as they caught each other's punches.
"Like we already don't!" Cyber Sarah huffed as they broke off and the two forces regrouped with the princess and BF Champion's cyber doubles pulling out their wands again.
"Avis Oppuguno!" Cyber Sarah shouted, pointing her wand at Jin and Teng and summoning a flock of birds infused with the Oppugno Jinx to attack them.
The leading Black Dragons both yelped in pain as they tried to swat the birds away but to no avail. This momentary distraction from Cyber Sarah turned out to be the first step in their final downfall as she gave herself and her husband the chance to end the battle their way now that their friends, allies, and real-world counterparts the time they needed to escape. With no time left to waste, they took out a pair of tiny and spiny green cocoons from their left sleeves.
"Okay, Swoop, Anga! Do your thing!" called Cyber Race as they threw their cocoons and they transformed into two creatures similar to giant butterflies that have wolf-like skills in place of their original heads known as Swooping Evils.
Since they were raised by the pair to be friendly and sophisticated creatures and not harm anybody unless they deem anyone to be a threat through any hostile actions, when Swoop and Anga saw the Black Dragons, they immediately attacked. As soon as they charged at the evil pair, they immediately injected them with their venom that knocked both Jin and Teng completely unconscious which satisfied the two creatures as they nodded to each other and returned to their owners as cocoons.
"Thank you, you two," Cyber Sarah nodded in approval, seeing the Fire Capsule Jin had dropped and taking it with her. "That's it, Race; we got the Fire Capsule."
"Good, now to make sure these hooligans don't show their faces here again," Cyber Race said.
With that said, Cyber Race pointed his wand at the defeated Black Dragons and said, "Diminuendo."
Through that spell, he shrunk the still-unconscious Jin and Teng with no problem from them as he then said, "Duro", turning them to stone with a wave of his wand and thus turning them into harmless stone statues. It was all over for Jin and Teng; their fates worse than death were sealed and the first two of the six Black Dragons belonging to Dai Shi were finally defeated. Nodding in satisfaction over his work, he then cast the Banishing Charm as the statues of Jin and Teng were transported out of the game and they soon materialized in the room where Ming Wu, her team, and the citizens invited to the presentation were taking shelter in.
"Ming Wu, look!" gasped one of the assistants, seeing Jin and Teng's statues.
"It's the first two Black Dragons! But, look, they're both shrunk and they've been turned to stone figures!" blinked another assistant in surprise.
"They did it, Sarah, her family, and their friends along with our characters have beaten Jin and Teng! Now, the Black Dragons are two members short and with no hope of bringing back Dai Shi!" a third assistant cheered, realizing what the pair's defeat meant as everyone else joined in, all cheering in relief and happiness.
"They'll look great on our shelf mantles," smirked a fourth assistant, taking their stone statues and placing them in a bag.
"Good job, Ming, that touch with Race and Sarah's doubles being a martial arts wizard/witch pair team was genius," replied one of Ming's close friends and partners.
"Thanks, Tucker. But now, I'm more worried for them and her family and their friends along with the other characters," replied Ming Wu, looking at the monitor of the heroes' current predicament. "They made it to the final level but they're already having a lot on their plate right now..."
"Just have faith in them. They made it through tight spots like this one, they'll do it again," Tucker reassured.
"I hope you're right, man. I really do..." Ming Wu sighed, watching Cyber Race and Cyber Sarah go to the garage and hop onto their own beach buggy (modeled after Richard Hammond's beach buggy but without the roof superstructure) and used an advanced form of Apparition they came up with to transport themselves to the rest of their friends with the Fire Capsule at hand.
Back at the beach, the heroes were already in the biggest pinch of their lives. They and their cyber friends are all surrounded by the Sea Haunt, Guzzlord, Old Iron Face, the Shark Men, Demon Shark, the Creepy Heap, and Red Beard and Captain Pescado along with their respective crews still have them surrounded with nowhere to run or hide from them and cut off the only escape route they had on them. What made it worse for them is that because the cartoon villains are the real deal in Cyberspace as in Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase, they have no idea how powerful they could actually be and/or if they're really outmatched.
"You guys sure do know a lot of weird people where you came from," commented Cyber Ash.
"Blame Saturday morning cartoons and bad luck along with Jin and Teng's hacking for them being here now," retorted Sarah with a sigh.
"Know how are we supposed to beat these guys, especially Guzzlord?"
"Anything you can pull out of your proverbial hat would be nice, Mother," put in Mirage and Nyasi.
"The old traps and tactics Mystery Inc. and Race, Dr. Quest, and Charlie used won't be useful this time. But, Guzzlord, we'll need to trap him with an Electro Web and hit him right at his head," replied Sarah, all of them preparing for a beating. "But, since we don't know how strong he is compared to his real-world counterpart and his ally goons are, we're fighting blind here."
"Where's a miracle bringer when you need one?" groaned Gerudeon as she and her children braced themselves for a fight they and their new family and friends can't win. It seemed like all hope was lost until...
Without warning, a pair of familiar predatory roars was suddenly heard coming their way and before the Sea Haunt and Guzzlord could react, Terry and Blaze reappeared and gave them a hard push and head bash. Their attacks were so forceful that both Ultra Pillar and mythical monster were knocked away from the group, shocking the villains that gawked at the sight of the dinosaurs.
"It's Terry and Blaze!"
"They're back!"
"But, what happened to them?"
"We had to fight tooth and nail and run trying to get away from those two and now they're fighting on our side, what changed?" gasped Winter, Star, Mai, and Candy, startled from Terry and Blaze's change of alliance.
"This doesn't make sense! How did they turn over to us from the Dark Side?" spluttered Tyson.
"Wait, if they're on our side now and helping us fight those guys when they knocked the Sea Haunt and Guzzlord aside, then that means..."
"Father and Sarah's cyber doubles did it, they've beaten Jin and Teng and got the Fire Capsule from them!" Ella and Robbie deducted in realization.
"Confringo!"
"Flipendo Duo!" a pair of familiar voices recited as two spell blasts were shot at the other villains, one of them blasting the two pirate crews and Old Iron Face away as it hit them and exploded and a powered-up spell hitting the Creepy Heap and knocking it towards the Shark Men and the Demon Shark.
"Master, look! Here they come!" called Wang Lun, pointing everyone to said couple that immediately appeared in their beach buggy and skidded to a halt next to the heroes.
"Alright, Sarah and Race!"
"You made it!"
"Good show!" Jim and Jenny, Stella, and Wilbur cheered as the pair reunited with the group and with the Fire Capsule at hand while Terry and Blaze got to work fighting their newly-classified enemies.
"Sarah, I thought you might need this and its dinosaurs," Cyber Sarah said, handing the Fire Capsule to her real-world counterpart.
"Thanks," the princess thanked, taking the capsule.
"You sure you can use them after they slaved away under the Black Dragons' claim to ownership?" questioned Race as Sarah put the baby Nifflers on Silvally's back and prepared to use Chomp and Munch's cards while putting her new Fire Stone into her Dino Bracer.
"Since Jin and Teng are long gone now and they have no custody over them anymore, we'll make do with them," Sarah replied as she then activated the cards in her hand, slashing on the Bracer's slot as they appeared alongside their new companions. "I summon Chomp and Munch the Ceratopsians in Attack Mode, awaken!"
Like before, Chomp and Munch reappeared on the field but in their original modes alongside Terry and Blaze, the four dinosaurs being quick to roar at each other to signal and solidify their new alliance together as official dinosaur companions, preparing to take down the final boss and its allies.
"I'm reading your mail, Island Girl! Now, awaken, my Allosaurus and Megaraptor!" shouted Race, slashing his Allosaurus and Megaraptor cards to bring Swift and Meg back in their original forms for battle.
With Swift, at a length of 38 ft. and a height of 16.5 ft., he had long arms that had three claws on each of his hands, a dark blue back and spins, and a grey lower body with two short purple brow-horns, and bony knobs and ridges.
As for Meg, while she was 6 ft. tall and 26 ft. long (essentially making her the smallest out of Race's dinosaurs in his hands), she was green but had yellow strips along her back and legs and had a yellow ring on her tail. She also had light tan arms and feet and there is a crest complete with yellow flowers that had large and bushy pink tops on his pink head.
The four dinosaurs roared at the smaller enemies and Guzzlord before them, making the pirates grit their teeth in anger as well as the sharks, octopus, and kelp monster along with the Sea Haunt and the Dragon of Gluttony roar and hiss defiantly in response. The final battle for the heroes' freedom was about to begin.
Making the first move, Cyber Race and Cyber Sarah released Swoop and Anga again to help them fight alongside them and the heroes and their friends against Guzzlord and his allies. Knowing what they have to do again, the two of them joined forces with Swift and Meg as they took on the Shark Men and Red Beard and his pirate crew. In the meantime, Terry and Blaze decided to tackle Guzzlord and gauge him so they can allow their new owners and the rest to attack him easily before he could get the drop on them.
As for the Sea Haunt, it had the displeasure to up against Chomp and Munch as they reverted to their Attack Forms so they can go up against the inhuman tank of a monster even though it tried to do what it could to swat away its powerful prehistoric opposition. Seeing their new enemies and the four dinosaurs going up against the two most powerful creatures before them, Swoop and Anga nodded before they split up to help their new allies destroy them and bring the heroes one step closer to beating the game (Swoop with Terry and Blaze against Guzzlord and Anga alongside Chomp and Munch against the Sea Haunt).
But, that was just the start as, without warning, a last-minute hack by Jin and Teng before they entered the game and met their untimely demise allowed an army of Rinshi to appear in the game and start ambushing the heroes and the Cyber Gang so as to give Guzzlord and his allies some backup.
"Ugh, not more Rinshi!" cried a shocked Rosethorn.
"How in Thor's Beard did Jin and Teng do that?" Sunflare asked, preparing for battle.
"I'll betcha they did a final hack before they beamed themselves into Cyberspace and chased us through the entire game to throw us off," replied Kommo-o, preparing to face off against what could be the last of the grunts in Dai Shi's service.
"I say we split up; get into groups, pull some away, and spread out! Don't let any of them help each other!" James advised.
"I'm not gonna argue with that!" agreed Race with a nod.
"Good idea!"
"Let us help you, then!"
"Once we're done with those bad guys, everybody regroups here so we can take out the last ones still standing!" Cyber Lana, Cyber Ash, and Kong Mu put in.
"I can't argue with that!"
"Anything's worth a try, big guy!" Helioseon and Jolteon nodded.
"Okay, everybody! Stick to the plan and be ready for what these fools have at hand! NOW!" Umbreon shouted, allowing some of the Pokemon, dragons, and mythical creatures to blast at their enemies and split into groups as they went across the beach or back down the path to the carnival.
"ARGH! They're getting away, you scurvy dogs!"
"GET THEM!" Red Beard and Captain Pescado screamed, angrily pointing to the heroes and their allies.
"Remember to come back for the last baddies once the others are destroyed, guys!" Sarah noted as everybody went their separate ways to deal with their own bogies and villains as they went after them.
"Okay/Got it/Right!" the group and the Cyber Gang all agreed, preparing to go through the same final fight scene scenario of Shaw Brothers and Chang Cheh's 1974 Kung Fu/Shaolin Cycle movie: Five Shaolin Masters.
With no choice but to kill the heroes and their allies, the villains went after them with the Rinshi joining them in their respective groups (Captain Pescado and his octopus and kelp monsters getting to the Cyber Pokemon School Gang and their partners and the griffon flock; the Cyberspace Pokemon, Thunder, Feathers, Wu and Wei, and Sarah and Race's mythicals luring Red Beard and his crew away; the Creepy Heap and Demon Shark tailgating Chance and his herd, Sapphira and her children, and the dragons; Old Iron Face and the Shark Men chasing the Cyber Sea Crew, Draggie, Doug and Delilah's Pokemon, James, Tsukumaro, and Nikki along with their Pokemon, Phoe-Phoe, and Flitter and Flutter; and Sarah, Race, and their cyber doubles being left on their own with the former pair's Pokemon and dinosaurs to stop the Sea Haunt and Guzzlord).
Once separated and they had each powerful villain and their own flocks of Rinshi right where they wanted them, away from Guzzlord, the Sea Haunt, and their own Rinshi pack, the others started to enact their plan to pick them out one by one and regroup with Sarah, Race, and their doubles back at the beach.
Against Captain Pescado and his monsters and their Rinshi, after they braced themselves upon arriving on a plateau on the left side of the beach, Cyber Pikachu and Cyber Charizard made the first move as they attacked first with Thunderbolt and Flamethrower, halting and gauging their enemies as the griffon flock surrounded the evildoers with Gilda and Gabby at the helm. With their escape cut off, the three ghosts had no choice but to duel against the Cyber School Gang and Gallus (who decided to help fight on behalf of his flock).
Gallus then took on Captain Pescado as he darted towards the hacked pirate ghost as they traded blows with neither of them gaining quarter nor getting edge while the others took on the Rinshi and prepared themselves to fight the evil pirate captain and his monster crooks should Gallus decide to tag out.
The Cyberspace Pokemon, Thunder, Feathers, Wu and Wei, and the mythicals belonging to Sarah and Race led Red Beard and his pirate and Rinshi crew to a clearing in the forest spanning some distance between the carnival and the beach. Feathers went first in the fight as she unleashed her Sonic Blast, disorientating Red Beard and his crew and allowing Thunder, Telsa, and Adhira to shoot lighting at them to throw the evil pirates on their end back. This left the Cyberspace Pokemon to deal with the Rinshi while the mythicals and Thunder and his friends squared off against Red Beard and his ghostly crew.
"ARGH! Hey, stop that! RAGH, blast you, you overgrown pussy cats! Stop!" Red Beard snapped as Karabi and Kyoga wailed on him while Rune and Hydra blocked his powerful ghost crew back so they can't help him while the mythicals fought them.
"HUH! Here's our Rinshi Lance, try it out!" barked one of the Rinshi grunts to the Cyberchase Pokemon as some of them brought out their lances.
"I've heard about you Rinshi hooligans from Master when she told us about your superiors and your techniques but you might want to try out my Dual Strike Style instead!" scoffed Wang Lun as he and the rest of his fellow Pokemon went up against the army coming at them.
Over on a path leading to the beach plateau, Chance and his herd squared off against the Demon Shark, the latter monster's brute force and extreme ferocity being a match for their larger sizes and strength while Sapphira, Drogon, and Zephyr went up against the Creepy Heap as they wailed on each other. The two cyber Scooby Doo monsters, being hacks done by Jin and Teng, were twice as powerful as their original cartoon counterparts given that they're real and not crooks in costumes so it was taking a lot of effort from the two mythical groups to keep them at bay and not have them backtrack to the beach to help destroy Guzzlord and the Sea Haunt's targets.
Meanwhile, the Cyber Sea Crew, Draggie, Nikki, James, Tsukumaro, their Pokemon, Phoe-Phoe, Flitter, Flutter, and Doug and Delilah's partners led Old Iron Face, the Shark Men, and their own Rinshi army to an eerie empty beach resort on the right-hand side of the beach. Having chosen their own battlefield to destroy their enemies before them and keep their attention off of the main group fighting Guzzlord and the Sea Haunt, they prepared to fight the Shark Men, Old Iron Face, and their Rinshi.
Nikki, James, Tsukumaro, and their Pokemon along with Phoe-Phoe, Flitter, and Flutter decided to take on Old Iron Face while Draggie and his Cyber Sea Crew friends faced off against the Rinshi despite having no prior fighting experience with Doug and Delilah's partners guiding them along the way. Admittingly, things got off to a rocky start because, after a few minutes, Iron Face got a lucky hit on Tsukumaro.
The old advisor tried again as he drew his sword and tried to get a few hits in on them with his Pokemon along with his hawk spirit helping after he summoned it to his side and even Phoe-Phoe did her best to help fight. But, Iron Face dodged, tanked, or blocked each hit being delivered to him before he gave Sarah's godfather a hard punch which sent him back a bit. He glared hard at the taller and more powerful enemy before him and his Pokemon and phoenix, not wanting to give up for the sake of his goddaughter.
"Hmph, you're a swordsman, Old Man? That's nothing, who's the runt that taught you how to fight?" he taunted with a smirk hidden underneath his mask.
Feeling irked by the insult and not wanting to feel weak in front of Iron Face, Tsukumaro and his team went at him again but despite continuing to try their best to be his match, Iron Face continued to block, tank, or deflect each blow given to him before he knocked the old advisor back. Tsukumaro sat on his butt as he continued to glare hard at the evil masked man while his Pokemon, Phoe-Phoe, and his hawk spirit regrouped.
"Ha, your swordplay's not too bad but you've poor technique and you've grown weak. Even if you did learn a few things before coming here, you probably haven't changed a bit," he smirked evilly again.
Tsukumaro spat at him as he scoffed, gauging the masked man once again with his animal spirit, Phoe-Phoe, and his Pokemon helping to gang up on him before they ran off and forced Iron Face to chase after them again but to another part of the beach resort to further weaken the villains' numbers.
Nikki and James didn't have time to help either group from their team as they were occupied with fighting off the Shark Men with the assistance of their hummingbird and Okapi spirits and their Pokemon, Flutter, and Flitter. The vicious sharks tried to swipe, claw, and bite at the opposition against them but the heroes did their best to stave them off while they came up with a plan to destroy them.
As for Sarah, Race, their doubles, and their Pokemon and dinosaurs, they were left to deal with the Sea Haunt, Guzzlord, and the evil pair's Rinshi army while Chomp, Munch, Swift, Meg, Terry, Blaze, Swoop, and Anga continued to wail away on the monsters.
Deciding to give them a hand, a majority of Sarah's Pokemon, Cyber Race, and Cyber Sarah took on the Rinshi army while the princess and BF Champion were left on their own to take on Guzzlord and the Sea Haunt with their dinosaurs and their chosen teams (Race with his current team and Sarah with her Pokemon that once fought off Guzzlord as well). Curly, in the meantime, decided to stay with her crush to help him and the rest of his team from his family take on the Dragon of Gluttony before he could destroy them.
Since Sarah, Nebby, Nebula, Silvally, Star, Blitz, Poipole, Zorua, Zeraora, Dawn (Midday Lycanroc), Seviper, Beautifly, and the Legendary Beasts fought the Junkivore Pokemon alongside Dia and his Zeraora in their universe, they knew how they would beat him again even though he wasn't going to make it easy for them to beat him compared to his original counterpart. However, the Sea Haunt would also prove to be as much of a challenge since there is no lifeline cannon, no very pistols and flares, no floodlights, and no torches for them to use on hand which meant they'll have to improvise a way to destroy it.
"Got any magic tricks to get rid of the gluttony death trap and the mythical hybrid before us, Island Girl?" questioned Race, eying the final boss and his current ally as the dinosaurs continued to fight them.
"See that second face on top of his mouth over there? We'll need to land a good hit on it and we'll beat him. But, that's implied if we can trap him with a powerful Electro Web so he can't escape and break free and if the Sea Haunt doesn't cut him loose," Sarah explained, pointing to Guzzlord's tiny head and they looked towards the Sea Haunt still fighting against Chomp, Munch, and Anga.
"Really, sounds easy. Though, I don't even know where to begin with that plan."
"I do, I'm not stopping until his head's ripe for target practice and he's out of our hair even though he's a clone of that world-eating monster."
"You think one of your cards can make this easier for all of us?" Silvally quizzed.
"I don't know but anything's worth a try," Sarah replied, knowing that right now, they have nothing to lose. "Well, let's get it started!"
Sarah and Race nodded as the latter's team went off to assist Chomp, Anga, and Munch in dealing with the Sea Haunt leaving Sarah and her Pokemon along with Swift, Swoop, and Meg in dealing with Guzzlord alone. But, that wasn't too much of a concern since Sarah and her current Pokemon with her knew what to do after fighting against the dark Ultra Pillar before and with her dinosaurs and their move cards, they should be evenly matched now compared to last time.
Activating her Dino Gadget, she got a Move Card in her hand, this particular card being a Wind Card, and raised it high so as to have her Pokemon use a wind move against Guzzlord. "Ability, activate - Hurricane Beat!" she shouted.
Charging up their new wind energy, Silvally, Nebula, and Suicune attacked they sent out three tornados at the Junkivore Pokemon and lifted him up in the air, allowing themselves a chance to attack. They sent out a flurry of rapid kicks and targeted his face, making him roar in pain before he swatted them out of the sky and he landed with a crash after Nebby tackled him out of the tornadoes, bruised but now very angry.
Back to Tsukumaro, he and his team managed to enter the empty resort lobby where they can deal with Iron Face easily and he won't be able to target the others.
"Well, Old Man, you've nowhere to run. You and your little posse are through and you'll never get out of here alive," laughed Old Iron Face.
"You're right AND wrong, fool. We led you here to find you a good grave, now we're gonna kill you," Tsukumaro scoffed.
The two warriors clashed once again (one of them still armed and the other with only his powerful body) with Phoe-Phoe, Whimsicott, Togepi, Absol, Deerling, Natu, Oliver, and Mae Ling along with his hawk spirit bracing themselves should they have to stand in for him. For the moment, things seem to be going smoothly and they're evenly matched as they had been prior but Old Iron Face, being the cunning bastard that he is, produced a pirate cutlass and went at Tsukumaro with surprisingly good technique before he finally broke the old advisor's sword with a loud crack as it split when he tried to block his downward slash. His Pokemon looked on and gasped in horror as he was now left without a weapon to defend himself with.
"My sword!" Tsukumaro gasped in horror before he dodged Iron Face's cutlass before he could be shish-kabobed until he was kicked back and he landed on his back, the cutlass soon touching his throat as he froze.
"Hmph, end of the line for you with no blade left and nowhere left to run, hide, or hope to escape. Farewell, Old Man," chuckled Iron Face darkly as he pulled back his cutlass and prepared to run him through.
"NO!" screamed Mae Ling, she and her fellow Pokemon jumping in to fight the masked monster this time in Tsukumaro's place until he can be on equal ground again, knocking Iron Face away from their master/friend/father figure.
Phoe-Phoe, like the Pokemon with her, was also shocked that Tsukumaro was left vulnerable without his sword. She knew that he could still fight but his body and wand alone can only get him so far before he would be overpowered and his opponent still has his cutlass on him (which he tried to use to slice and dice at the Pokemon as they fought him off as best they could). Remembering hearing about the chest that the heroes needed to beat Guzzlord and get out of the game, thinking that there could be a weapon inside it to give Tsukumaro an edge, she quickly flew off to find it and pray she was not too late.
Mae Ling was able to hold her own along with the other Pokemon in Tsukumaro's forces as they continued to go against the masked human demon, giving him no chance to attack and land a hit on them despite his own best efforts. But, Togepi decided to join in and help she used Pound on him, directly onto his iron-clad face. But, it wasn't much against him given that she was still a baby and she wasn't powerful enough and all it did was irk him until his eyes widened and they narrowed in malicious delight as he quickly grabbed her and turned to his opponents as they tried to fight him again.
"FREEZE! Nobody move or the little pint here is made into a hearty omelet!" snapped Iron Face, holding out the frightened Togepi in front of Tsukumaro and his other Pokemon and bringing his cutlass close to her.
"NO! TOGEPI, GIVE HER BACK! DON'T HURT HER! PLEASE, SPARE HER! TOGEPI!" screamed a panicked Whimsicott as the others tried to hold her back, causing Togepi to whimper and cry for help as she shut her eyes and prepared for the worst.
"You... You iron-faced mongrel! How dare you try to harm and threaten my little Togepi, let her go! She's done nothing wrong and this is how you fight?!" Tsukumaro bellowed furiously, not taking kindly to Iron Face deciding to cheat to win.
"You and your Pokemon have put up quite a fight but now I see that you're just too smart and too powerful for your own good! Even your little phoenix had the foresight to run away from me when she had the chance! But, you know what they say, 'There are no rules in this game except win at any cost'," scoffed Iron Face with a dark chuckle, not bothering to remove his cutlass.
"You really are a weasel, Iron Face!" snarled Mae Ling, not finding their current predicament and his willingness to kill a baby Pokemon to stop them amusing.
"That's your problem and I'd rather call it high-stakes compensation. Now, what's it going to be?" Iron Face sneered mockingly as Togepi continued to cry for her family.
His sneering didn't last long as, unwilling to see their new baby sister die, Bambi and Natu charged forward and unleashed two battle cries without warning. This shocked the others and startled Iron Face as Natu quickly used Drill Peck on his head and Bambi used Double Kick on his stomach, causing him to hunch over in pain and release Togepi but flinging her into the air by accident as she screamed again.
"TOGEPI!" shrieked Whimsicott in horror.
Before she could meet her end, Natu immediately flew over and caught her just in time before she could fall to the ground faster. The little Spike Ball Pokemon kept her eyes closed and continued to whimper until she noticed that she didn't die and was now being carried to safety by Natu, who brought her back to Whimsicott and Tsukumaro unharmed.
"Togepi, thank goodness," Tsukumaro said as he took her in her arms, relieved. "Are you okay?"
Togepi whimpered and sniffed with a small but relieved smile, thankful to be back with her new father figure and Whimsicott as she babied her in utter relief and happiness over her being unharmed. Satisfied from Togepi being unhurt and nodding to her as she sent him a thankful smile, the Tiny Bird Pokemon turned to Iron Face and glared at him hard as Bambi returned to her family's side and he flapped forward while he tried to regain himself.
"...Damn, you little rats...! I guess there are some like that do know, how, to fight," the masked avenger coughed in anger, reeling from the pain he was given. "But, now I'm going to have to make you pay for humiliating me!"
"You break my master's sword, you threatened to kill him after you caught him off guard, you attacked my little sister without mercy, AND you tried to bargain our lives for her!" Natu hissed dangerously, having enough of Iron Face's madness. "I may be small amongst us here and I may not be as strong as you but I've got myself a big brain to back up my strength and my willingness to protect my family!"
With that said, he suddenly started to glow a bright blue as a familiar light overtook him. This further shocked everybody present with Iron Face screaming as he shielded himself from the light while Tsukumaro and his Pokemon looked on in awe and fascination as they knew what was going on.
"Natu..." gasped Tsukumaro.
"What's happening to him?" asked a stunned Mae Ling.
"What's going on?!" shouted Oliver in shock.
"Big Brother Natu, he's finally evolving!" cried Bambi.
"His willingness to protect Togepi from any and everybody wanting to harm her is allowing him to evolve into his second stage!" added an awestruck Absol while Togepi and Whimsicott along with the hawk spirit looked on in silent amazement.
Absol and Bambi were right; when the light finally faded and his evolution was revealed, Natu was revealed to be a world apart from his pre-evolved form. Instead of being just a simple green ball with bird-like features, he looked more like a bipedal condor with long red-and-black tipped white wings that covered much of his body's front end and there are designs that resembled eyes underneath them. In addition to his green coloration, his overall color design had varying accents of black, yellow, and red but since he's also a male, he also has an extra set of yellow stripes on him. His eyes became almond-shaped, a long but slightly hooked beak, and two long red feather crests coupled with his feet having two white toes up front and back. With his overall Native American-inspired design, he looked something akin to a totem pole or a Kachima doll of the Hopi Tribe.
"Now, feel the wrath of the Mystic Pokemon of Johto: XATU!" the evolved Psychic/Flying Type declared, opening his eyes and spreading his wings as he prepared himself for battle, a more powerful aura resonating through him.
"He, did it..." breathed an awestruck Absol as he took in Natu's evolved form as Xatu standing in front of them.
"Rrgh, impressive. I never thought a pint-sized ball of fluff such as you could harbor such incredible power within you," grunted Iron Face, managing to get his bearings again after the punishment he was given before he glared back at Xatu. "But, it doesn't matter... You won't beat me by changing shape, you'll all still be destroyed and you'll have no hope of getting out!"
"Not as long as we're still standing since you haven't won yet!" spat Oliver just as a squawking noise is heard and everybody turned to the source of it which was Phoe-Phoe as she returned with a peculiar item in her talons.
"Phoe-Phoe?" gasped Tsukumaro in surprise before he caught the item she found and gently dropped onto his hands.
The old advisor gave another surprised gasp as he took in the item; it was another sword but this one was similar in shape and style to the Sword of Gryffindor but it looked as though it was made from gold and designed to fit his particular style of combat. The blade was about 30 inches long and the entire hilt is about seven inches from pommel to guard end, the crossguard was only 3-and-a-half inches long and it spanned a little over the top of his right fist as he held it, and amidst the handle, the crossguard had an amber gem and a sapphire on both ends, the pommel end had an emerald, and an egg-shaped ruby was encrusted as the actual pommel (the handle end near the pommel being small enough to allow him to attach the tassel from his old sword to it).
"What's this...?" he breathed in awe.
He was suddenly broken out of his awestruck stupor as he heard Iron Face let out a battle cry as he raised his cutlass and tried to carve him up. Thinking fast, he raised his new sword and as the blades clashed with each other, to everyone's astonishment, the old advisor's new sword didn't break. It actually held up and the cutlass wasn't able to make a dent on it.
"WHAT?!" barked a shocked Iron Face as the two of them ended up in a deadlock.
"This sword, what is it? I've never held anything like it in my life! It's amazing; it's stronger compared to my old one, it looked as though it was made for me alone, and it was able to help me stop that iron hooligan!" Tsukumaro thought, still in his deadlock.
Deciding to think on the subject of his new sword later, he knew that he and his Pokemon and Phoe-Phoe and the rest of their family still had a boss fight to win and so, he pushed Iron Face back with all his might and got back into a battle stance. By now, Old Iron Face was rapidly losing patience as he realized that his enemies were once again on equal ground with Natu's evolution to Xatu and Phoe-Phoe having found a new sword for her master. The battle was no longer one-sided and it was still all to play here as it can go anyway from here on out.
"A new toy?! Urgh, no matter, you're all going down!" snapped Old Iron Face in disbelief, raising his cutlass again and going for another charge.
"Wrong! We're going up!" barked Xatu defiantly, spreading his wings with a glare and his eyes glowing white as he used Teleport to zap his group into their enemy's original spot, making Iron Face fall flat on his face (literally) after he failed to stop in time.
"Now, where were we?" Tsukumaro mused with a determined frown as he prepared himself again and Iron Face got back on his feet before they charged at each other once more and resumed their sword fight.
Back with Sarah and Race and their current teams, Guzzlord and the Sea Haunt, despite being digital clones, are proving themselves to be more of a challenge as the former intervened in Chomp and Munch's latest attempts to finish off the latter as he knocked them back with his pincers with Anga barely managing to fly away safely from them. However, Terry and Blaze didn't take too kindly to his cheating so they gave him another hard push and kicked him back to regain his attention to their own fight with the Junkivore Pokemon.
"These creeps are putting us through the damn back burner, Island Girl!"
"You think I don't know that? I started to notice that when Guzzlord tried to gang up on Chomp and Munch!" Race and Sarah remarked.
"What'll we do?" cried Beautifly, desperate for a suggestion.
"Well, the kid did use Electro Web and the Tapu Koko in Dia's universe trapped menace! Why not use something like that to pin him down?" recalled Silvally, remembering Blitz and the Shiny Tapu Koko's Electro Web traps.
"Or better yet, why not wrack up a Lightning Move Card and give it a whirl?" Zorua suggested.
"Mind if I cut in this time?" Raikou volunteered, Blitz turning to him knowingly and giving him a nod of approval.
"Totally worth it, Raikou," nodded Sarah in agreement as she activated her Dino Gadget again and brought out a Lightning Move Card before she turned to Blitz and Curly.
"Okay, you two, we're going to need a clear shot from you and Raikou if we're to stop him. Be careful, though; this Move Card will amplify your electric attacks so you might feel a little overpowered from it. We'll have to destroy the Sea Haunt first before we can get to Terry and Blaze along with our doubles' moth-like things before it can gang up on us with its supernatural strength."
"Give it a shot, Mom!"
"We've got to stop that meanie!"
"I'll appreciate the help, Sarah!" her three Electric Types responded, knowing what they have to do with Raikou noticing Chomp and Munch having trouble with the Sea Haunt. "I don't know how long those two will last until they drop! We must help them!"
"Right! Raikou, start off with Thunderbolt and hurl it towards the Sea Haunt!" the princess ordered, allowing her Shiny Thunder Pokemon to attack first with a powerful Thunderbolt.
Then, she slashed her Lightning Move Card across her Dino Bracer's slot and raised it high to activate its power and combine it with Blitz and Curly, "Alright, Blitz, Curly, blast the Sea Haunt with Thunder Driver!"
Drawing their own Electric Pokemon thunder power and as soon as Thunder Driver is activated, Blitz and Curly ran over to Chomp and Munch as they started to spark with electricity from their power surge.
"Chomp, Munch!" shouted Blitz, getting the ceratopsians' attention and nodding as they understood what they'll have to do.
The two Mouse Pokemon jumped onto their backs and roared proudly as they glowed a bright yellow once they were fully charged, consequentially changing back to their original forms to use Thunder Driver at full power. Anga, seeing that help is coming, decided to assist the four of them as she charged at the Sea Haunt, disorientated it with her impressive flight and speed, and pricked it as hard as she could when she caught it off guard and unleashed her most toxic venom to give them a better chance of destroying the beast.
The Sea Haunt screeched in agonizing pain as it felt the venom entering its body before it managed to swat her off but being too late to notice Chomp and Munch coming at it with Blitz and Curly in tow, the ceratopsian pair immediately ramming into the beast and delivering a hard blow to it as it sparked heavily with electricity around its body. It gave off one final agonizing screech as it was flung out to the sea, turned purple, and exploded with a loud and violent BOOM, just as it splashed back into the water. The Sea Haunt was the first of Guzzlord's allies to be destroyed and beaten.
The Junkivore Pokemon clone noticed this and gasped in shock before it lashed out harder to destroy the ones who are still trying to escape, Terry, Blaze, and Swoop doing their best to keep him occupied. When the Rinshi dealing with Cyber Race and Cyber Sarah and Sarah's family saw this, they tried to assist him but...
"Oh no, you don't! Orbis!"
"Orchideous!" Cyber Sarah and Cyber Race shouted, casting their next combat spells which destroyed some Rinshi via a powerful vortex and turned some others into a shower of orchid flowers.
Sarah's Pokemon continued to aid them in destroying the rest of Guzzlord's Rinshi army as they went all out on the former grunts of Dai Shi, not allowing them a chance to attack them as they knocked them away and used their own lances against them whenever possible. It wasn't long before the last of the Infernal Dragon's footsoldiers were wiped out and everyone could see Sarah, Race, and their current Pokemon along with Swoop, Anga, Terry, Swift, Meg, Blaze, Chomp, and Munch focusing their firepower on the evil Ultra Pillar clone, knowing that they need help.
"Come on, let's get in there! Who's with us?!" shouted Cyber Race, motivating Sarah's Pokemon to join in the efforts to defeat Guzzlord with him and his wife joining them as they shared a knowing kiss and readied their wands to help end the digital beast.
Back to the Cyberspace Pokemon, Thunder, Feathers, Wu and Wei, and Sarah and Race's mythicals, they were doing well against Red Beard, his pirates, and their Rinshi army although they proved themselves to be no slouches either no thanks to Jin and Teng's hacking.
As the Rinshi fought the Cyberspace Pokemon and the mythicals and Feathers, Wu and Wei, and Feathers were dealing with his crew, Wang Lun squared off against Red Beard as the evil pirate drew his own cutlass and prepared to shish-kabob Ching Wan and Hashimoto's ancestor. But, the original Wushu Pokemon was undeterred as he didn't need a weapon to deal with his armed opponent who made the first move and charged at him.
"Cloud Hands!" he shouted, dodging and blocking Red Beard's thrusts and slashes with a series of arm brushes like he's painting a picture until he caught him off guard when he tried to punch him with his left hand and he grabbed it before he brought his elbow up and knocked him back.
"Brush Knee!" Wang Lun then allowed Red Beard to attack again while deflecting and dodging his strikes until he deflected a sword strike by his left, caught his lumbar, and pushed him down by his face.
"Redirection!"
Wang Lun blocked and dodged Red Beard's strikes again as he gauged his pirate enemy before the latter swung his sword on a downward diagonal slash to his left before he grabbed his sword arm with his left hand by his right wrist and pressed his right hand down on his upper right arm before he spun him around like a top, causing Red Beard to scream before he was tossed aside after seven turns.
"Rise and Fall!"
This time, Wang Lun was the one that made the first move as he thrust his left hand forward and Red Beard, growing increasingly agitated and frustrated, swatted it away before he thrust his sword forward again until the Dual Strike Urshifu redirected his attack, hit him with his right elbow and slapped him hard with his right palm smacking his chin on the way up and then down to his chest.
"Horse Tosses Mane!"
By now, Red Beard was losing his patience as his attacks became more frenzied and merciless as he slashed and thrust his sword while delivering punches and swipes with his left arm relentlessly. But, Wang Lun wasn't deterred as he was unimpressed by his pirate adversary's growing lack of fighting technique and control, dodging and blocking his attacks once more before he caught his sword arm again with his right hand this time as he went behind his right leg, used his body momentum and his left arm going under his right armpit. Then, when he knocked him down to the ground again, Wang Lun used a kick-punch-kick combo to force him back before he got himself ready to attack again.
"If you like that... Qin Na!"
Red Beard went to attack Wang Lun again but his Pokemon adversary wouldn't relent as he continued to dodge and counter his moves before the evil pirate slipped behind him and tried to catch him when he placed his left hand on his right shoulder to force him to face him. But, the older Wushu Pokemon reacted faster as he pressed his hand to trap him, used an outer circle to create leverage, and pushed down on the evil pirate.
With Nikki and James' crew, they were still going at the Shark Men and the Rinshi Army with them while Tsukumaro, his Pokemon, and Phoe-Phoe were still squaring off against Iron Face.
They all did their best to deal with the demon-like terrors of the deep and the Rinshi but like with the other superpowered villains, because of Jin and Teng's hacking, not only were they as strong as the other villains and real but it was taking a lot out of them to keep them at bay and beat them. When their Pokemon, Flitter, and Flutter were forced to dodge another attack by them even after getting some more good hits in, it was clear that the battle was wearing them out and even the Hummingbird and Okapi Spirits are on their last legs.
"They're too powerful! I don't know if we can beat them!" Nikki fretted.
"We have to do this, for everyone's sake and ours, honey!" James replied reassuringly, not wanting to give up.
"Don't forget; it's our fault everyone in Cyberspace is suffering ever since Jin and Teng zapped us here and hacked into Ming Wu's game. But, each time they came at us and whatever they threw at us tried to pin us down and kill Ponchita and her man throughout the game, we always came back on top! We're stronger than they were because we all worked together as a team and we always have friends our family can rely on! We made it this far because of them and if we give up now, how are we gonna face them in the end, even if we won? We'll never succumb to this wild rodeo of evil, no matter how many times creeps like those monster fish try! Doug and Delilah trusted us to raise Ponchita for a reason; now it's time to make them proud and bring them back together!"
"...You're right, I don't think we'll face them again if they know we failed to protect her as we promised! We have a mission and a promise to keep and that's to return Sarah to her real family! Never give up! Come on, guys, it's not over yet!" Nikki called to the Pokemon, Flitter, and Flutter, determined.
Dusk and Luna's parents, Lucario, Flitter, Flutter, Dragonite, Deerling, Donna, Sirius, Axew, and their animal spirits all returned her determined nods as they glared at the Shark Men once again. It was now or never as they all steeled themselves for one final assault and braced themselves to put down the menacing oceanic terrors once and for all with Dusk and Luna's parents barking at them, daring them to kill the pair and their party, if they can. The Shark Men took their act of defiance as a challenge as expected and they all roared, charging towards the group to tear them apart no matter what the cost.
"Lycanroc, use Protect/Accelerock!" Nikki and James began.
The female Dusk Form Lycanroc jumped forward and used Protect to shield herself and her mate (as they're the ones to attack first and lead the renewed assault), causing the Shark Men to crash into each other as soon as the first shark hit the shield and bounce off it. Then, while they're shaken, her mate used her as a springboard to launch himself into the evil sharks and ram into them with great speed using Accelerock, not giving them a second chance to fight.
But, it wasn't over yet as all hell broke loose with Dragonite and Lucario going next as they fired up Fire Punch and Bone Rush, smacking two of the Shark Men hard in the face. Then, Axew used Double Team to make clones of himself and surround two more of the Shark Men while Deerling then proceeded to fire Leech Seed at the Shark Man on the left before using Double Kick on the Shark Man on the right (right into his groin as it gave off a loud, pained roar).
Joining forces with Flutter and Flitter, the Hummingbird and Okapi Spirits and Donna and Sirius took on the remaining Shark Men with Blitz's parents using Quick Attack together in one direction and the animal spirits running and flying in the opposite direction in a big circle to disorientate them.
Then, even if it's just for one time, Flitter and Flutter went over to the Shark Men and started singing their species song, albeit reluctantly. True to Cyber Sarah's words about their music, the song they were singing was about to drive the monsters they, Donna, Sirius, and the animal spirits were fighting insane as they gave agonizing roars and tried and failed to block out the noise. As with most creatures, their sense of hearing was much stronger and more sensitive compared to others so they were already hating the Fwooper Song seconds after Flitter and Flutter started to sing.
"Huh, what do you know? Now, we know why Flitter and Flutter hated singing right now."
"Guess the song their species sing really does have the ability to drive everyone insane," muttered an impressed James and Nikki.
The song echoed to and reached the Rinshi against them and they also moaned in pain and tried to cover their ears from Flitter and Flutter's song but it was no use as it finally got through to them and they couldn't take it anymore. Their and the Shark Men's sanity shattered and seeing their chance, Donna, Sirius, Deerling, Axew, Dragonite, Lucario, Dusk and Luna's parents, and the Hummingbird and Okapi spirits set themselves up for one final attack barrage that'll finally destroy them.
"It's working, the Rinshi and the Shark Men are going down!"
"Alright, everybody, give 'em everything you got!" Nikki and James called out.
With the all-clear given, Donna and Sirius trapped the Shark Men using Grass Knot and seizing the opportunity to attack, the other six Pokemon and the animal spirits either charged forward or used any of their speed or long-range special/physical attacks to take them and their Rinshi army down. Lucario fired a fully-charged Aura Sphere, Dragonite unleashed a powerful Hurricane attack, Axew and Deerling double-teamed with Dragon Rage and a more powerful Leech Seed, and both adult Lycanroc made them flinch from Leer while firing Rock Slide at them.
The attacks being fired converged into one powerful blast and once they all hit the Rinshi and the Shark Men (with Flutter and Flitter quickly returning to their new masters' side once they saw the attacks coming), the evildoers gave one more series of agonizing moans and wails as they were soon destroyed and vanished in an explosion of purple smoke. Satisfied that their work with them was done, they nodded to each other before rushing back to help Sarah, Race, their Pokemon, and their dinosaurs deal with Guzzlord.
Meanwhile, the Cyber Pokemon School Gang and Gallus and his flock were still going up against Captain Pescado and his monsters and their own Rinshi army and while the heroes were busy with the other villains, they've been able to match up to the merciless deep sea specters. Granted, given their own inhuman strength amongst other things that made them a challenge to fight, it wasn't easy for them to keep them at bay but they continued to do their best and were starting to wear them down.
"Pikachu, Iron Tail!" shouted Cyber Ash, allowing Cyber Pikachu to land a hit on the kelp monster.
"Turtonator, use Dragon Tail! Pyroar, fire away with Overheat!" added Cyber Kiawe, his two virtual Fire Types giving the ghosts no time to counter.
"HAH!"
"Eat talon, you underwater freaks!" Gallus and Gilda bellowed, the two of them teaming up to give Captain Pescado and his monsters a beating after they were shocked and burned.
"Brionne, Bubblebeam!"
"Tsareena, Shaymin, Magical Leaf! Let's go!" Cyber Mallow and Cyber Lana called, having Cyber Brionne, Cyber Shaymin, and Cyber Tsareena unleash a frenzy of bubbles and glowing leaves on the Rinshi.
"Vikavolt, Togedemaru, Zing Zap Discharge, go!" cried Sophocles, utilizing his human counterpart's trademark Electric Type combo on another band of Rinshi.
"Snowy, use Powder Snow!" Cyber Lillie said, her cyber partner firing a flurry of snow that froze the last of the Rinshi and destroyed whatever backup the monsters had.
"ARGH! Do you land-lovers know when to quit?!" spat Captain Pescado, trying to find a way out after realizing the futility of his and his monsters' current situation but failing with the rest of the griffon flock continuing to block them.
"Yeah, NEVER!" screeched Gilda defiantly, sending a powerful right slash with her talons as they scarred the evil captain as Gallus also got the kelp and octopus monsters before they regrouped with the Cyber Pokemon School Gang. "Okay, kids, wrap it up while they're down!"
"Right! Pikachu, Thunderbolt!"
"Turtontor, Flamethrower at full power!"
"One last Discharge, Vikavolt!"
"Tsareena, Solar Beam!"
"Hydro Pump, Brionne, now!"
"Use Powder Snow one last time, Snowy!" the Cyber Gang called to their chosen Pokemon, all of them unleashing a barrage of their best and most powerful attacks on the ghostly captain and his undersea prowlers as they all screamed from being hit hard and exploding into purple smoke after being defeated.
"We did it!"
"We defeated Captain Pescado and his monsters!" cheered Cyber Mallow and Cyber Lana, the others sharing their sentiments as they joined in the cheering.
"Yes, but it's not over yet! There's still the matter of this Guzzlord character we need to help deal with in the center of the beach. We have to get back before it does Sarah and her family any harm, come on!" reminded Gallus, he and his flock leading the way as they backtracked back to Sarah and her group.
With the Creepy Heap and the Demon Shark, even though they've proven themselves to be anything but a cakewalk for Chance, his herd, Sapphire, her children, and the dragons, they were starting to be overwhelmed by the opposition against them. No matter how hard they tried to knock them back and kill them, their enemies would always find a way to bounce back and hit them even harder somehow. It didn't help that their enemies were tagging out each other so that they won't have a chance of defeating them easily as they went on.
"Chance, they're still not done! It's like they're toying with us even though we're winning in terms of numbers and our current game plan you and Shadow created for them!" Roseluck shouted, panting after she had exerted herself at one point during the battle.
"I hate those bad guys!" snapped Celestia, not wanting to deal with the two monsters anymore.
"We don't have time for this, we're on a time limit as it is!" grumbled Charger.
"Well, what can we do? They just keep coming every time we manage to put them down as we can!" Zephyr barked.
"Watch out!" cried Winter, seeing the Demon Shark and the Creepy Heap now firing lasers from their eyes (and pincers in the Creepy Heap's case) before they were forced to dodge as they let out startled cries.
"I've had enough! Come on, Sis!" growled Dawn (Deathgripper), knowing that it was time to end things between their party and the evil creatures as his sister agreed with her brother wholeheartedly.
"Then, I suppose it's time for us to bring out the big guns! You both may be powerful but there are some things we can do that you can't, like this!" snorted Melody as Echo gave an agreeing and determined nod towards the monsters. "Children, HOOOOOOOOO!"
Twilight, Dawn, Enya, Kayda, Viper, Wyvern, and Rhaegal stood at attention and with determined glares directed towards the Creepy Heap and the Demon Shark as they charged towards them, the seven Deathgrippers brought out their stingers and startled them. Their shock over the size of their greatest weapons taking them over, they were left speechless and defenseless as the seven Strike Class dragons charged towards them instead and stung them twice. They didn't have time to scream out in pain as the venom killed the pair and turned them into purple smoke immediately.
"Tag, you're it!" peeped Kayda cheekily.
"Gong, you lose!" added Wyvern.
"Good work, kids! Now, let's hurry back to Sarah!" Chance commended, leading his group away.
While the Cyber Sea Crew and Doug and Delilah's Pokemon making the finishing moves on the last of some Rinshi stragglers they found on their end and they returned to Sarah's group along with Nikki and James, Red Beard and his crew were both on their last legs as they were being pummeled nonstop by Wang Lun and the rest of the Cyberspace Pokemon along with Thunder, Feathers, Wu and Wei, and Sarah and Race's mythicals. They even managed to wipe out the last of their Rinshi army backing them up so it was just the three evil powerhouse pirates alone they'll soon finish off. This worked well for Feathers, Wu and Wei, and Thunder as they took whatever grievances they had regarding what happened to their friends prior out on the Rinshi and the pirates fighting them.
No matter what they tried, even though they got some good hits in, their opposition was continuing to show them no mercy as they wore them down and left them clinging on to their last chance for survival. But, it looked as though their time was up as they regrouped and were surrounded by the heroes closing in on them, each of them managing to add a punch or two to their being everyone's favorite punching bags.
"Oh, how the mighty have fallen," taunted Faraji.
"You three stooges and those ghostly vampires give pirates a bad rep!" added a disgusted Telsa.
"Now, it's time for you to see how real swashbucklers do the Pirate Battle Jig!" nodded Flurry, preparing to rain down hell on the evil pirates.
"Say goodbye, Red Beard!" barked Aku, he and the rest of the mythicals doing the honor of destroying them as they bit, clawed, scratched, bashed, and smashed the last three pirates before Faraji and Avel unleashed their power onto the pirates, making give out agonizing cries before they exploded in purple smoke.
Finally, Tsukumaro and Iron Face were reaching the tail end of their sword fight as they continued to clash but the latter was starting to become overwhelmed by the old advisor.
Since Phoe-Phoe had given him his new sword, Tsukumaro was able to hold his own again and Iron Face was finding it difficult to keep up with him as he thrust, parried, blocked, and countered every single blow given to him from all sides. Amazingly, even though it was made from gold, the sword in his hands was no heavier than a toy Star Wars Lightsaber or the real deal from the Star Wars movie saga and what's more, his fighting style was not affected radically by his new weapon. It was also proving to be much harder to break for Iron Face as he couldn't destroy it in one hard slash from any angle and he couldn't pinpoint where each blow from him was being delivered.
All the while, his Pokemon and Phoe-Phoe looked on in awe and amazement as their master/friend/caretaker was faster and stronger while having his new weapon with him.
This went on for several more minutes until, upon reaching what he believed to be the tail end of their fight, Iron Face decided to go for one final charge and downward slash of his cutlass. At that moment, upon making his timing right, he jumped up and turned his body to the right in a clockwise spin, slashing his sword sideways right at the area where his eyes were and slicing Iron Face's mask at that point. The evil man felt the cut made to him as he screamed and covered his cut eyes, having lost his vision permanently and on the verge of being destroyed after dropping his cutlass.
"You can't beat the blade of a true swordsman, what kind of swordplay did you learn?" Tsukumaro asked, unimpressed.
Blinded and badly wounded, Iron Face tried to punch and kick his foe only to hit nothing but air as the old advisor moved. And, after taunting him with a feint from behind, the masked man then turned to Tsukumaro as he pierced his juggernaut, causing the villain to writhe about and moan in pain and agony one last time as he finally died and exploded in a cloud of purple smoke as well.
"Iron Face, you're finished!" Tsukumaro declared proudly.
Tsukumaro then looked at his sword, remembering that Phoe-Phoe must've somehow found the chest they were looking for and knowing that they needed it to beat Guzzlord should he prove to be too much for his goddaughter to handle.
"Princess... Phoe-Phoe, where did you find this?" he questioned his phoenix, the mythical bird squawking to have her master and new friends follow her to where she found his new sword, and possibly, the chest as she led the way.
Returning to Sarah and her group, with his allies destroyed and the entire Rinshi army being dwindled down to whatever stragglers remained on the beach on their end, Guzzlord is now the only one left standing as he tried to kill off his opposition fighting against him and keep the heroes trapped in the game. By now, the Cyber Gang and the princess' family and their friends (apart from Tsukumaro) were all reunited and they were unleashing their fury against the cybernetic Junkivore Pokemon although he was still proving to be a pain to destroy.
The Pokemon, dragons, dinosaurs summoned, and mythicals along with Anga and Swoop tried to get a hit on him at his head but he kept on using his pincers to swat them away and not get leg-up on him.
"Swift, Meg, attack now! Try to distract him while I get you a card!" called Race, having his two summoned dinos try to come up with a distraction as they assaulted the giant cyber Ultra Beast while he then used a Wind Move Card. "Ability, activate! Mayfly!"
Glowing with a bright blue aura, Swift and Meg then proceeded to blitz at Guzzlord at blinding speed, disappearing from sight in a powerful gust of wind. They circled around the evil Ultra Pillar and he couldn't catch them at their current speed which resulted in him being blind-sighted by the two dinosaurs appearing from all sides as they attacked him. Once they had finished, they quickly moved away to find their common enemy feeling worn out and madder than ever but still on his feet and not backing down.
"He's still standing?!"
"I can't believe it!"
"All of that power and Swift and Meg's speed and his head doesn't even have a scratch on it!"
"What is he made of, anyway?" blasted Cyber Ash, Cyber Mallow, Drogon, and Zephyr.
"Not even Terry and Blaze and even Swoop could break through his defenses fast enough!" Cyber Race snarled.
"Why did anybody, let alone the Black Dragons, think it was a good idea to have Mr. Gluttony put in the game? What's the point?!" barked Silvally in aggravation.
"I'm ready to slaughter that monster to bits, give me the word and I'll pummel him like there's no tomorrow!" growled Eternatus, wanting to end things with the cyber Ultra Pillar permanently.
"You saw how strong he is even though he's a digital clone, Eternatus! Brute force alone won't be enough to deal with him, we're aiming for his head and you're not seriously thinking about destroying him from the inside out!" Sarah retorted.
"You got any bright or stupid ideas to deal with Freakazoid, Pipsqueak, I'd love to hear 'em!"
"I'll come up with any on the fly! Terry, Chomp, Munch, Blaze, hit him again!"
Heeding her call, the four dinosaurs belonging to the princess quickly braced themselves as Guzzlord came at the group once again. Chomp and Munch went first as they rammed into him in a double tackle formation, consequentially getting into a deadlock with him as they struggled to hold him before he could overpower them. As they kept him busy, Terry and Blaze rushed over behind him and grabbed him by his tail, throwing him away from the ceratopsians before Swift and Meg charged at the Junkivore Pokemon and rammed him to the ground.
But, even then, Guzzlord was still not done with them as he got back up, staggering to his feet as he gave a defiant roar at the shocked and bewildered heroes.
"Oh no, it didn't work!"
"He just didn't want to give up!"
"It's like he's tanking everything we're throwing at him-bzzt!" gasped Celestia, Star, and Manteon in growing shock.
"He's going to crush us at this rate!" cried Sho.
"He's coming back!"
"How do we stop him?!" added Skiddo and Veneon as they saw Guzzlord preparing for a death charge.
"The only way we can win this level and get you all back home is to hit him at full force with everything we got and that means we need to find the chest containing whatever it is we'll need in addition to your dinosaurs to destroy him," noted Cyber Sarah.
"But, where could it be? We haven't even started looking for it when Guzzlord and his goonies ambushed us!" Rocky interjected.
"Our only hope is for one group to find out where it is while the others keep him busy until we do! So, that means we'll have to split up again!" suggested Winter.
"Oh no, we're not doing that again! How is he going to fall for that just as the others did when they ganged up on us earlier?" Spookeon protested.
"He'll even eat everything in his path if we try to run again!" added Seleneon.
"We gotta do something!"
"And, we better do it fast 'cause here he comes now!" Pyre and Inferno warned in fright, seeing Guzzlord charging at the group.
"Island Girl, let's turn up the heat on him! Element Booster time!" shouted Race, making a split-second decision as he held up his Element Booster for Swift and Meg to use. "Good idea! Let's go, Terry, Blaze!" called Sarah to her Fire Dinosaurs, bringing out her Element Booster for Terry and Blaze, Chomp and Munch
Using their Booster Cards, they pressed a button that signaled them to insert and activate them to give their dinosaurs a power boost when needed. "Element Booster, activated," the bracers responded in an automated voice once the boosters were inserted into their eject platforms.
Once the boosters were activated, Chomp, Munch, Blaze, Swift, Terry, and Meg roared as they obtained what looked like crystalline-metal armor displaying symbols of their respective elements covering their bodies, heads, underbellies, and tails (frills in Chomp and Munch's case).
Everyone gasped in amazement as they took in the sight of Sarah and Race's dinosaurs all clad in their new armor as they looked ready and better prepared for another rumble with Guzzlord. By the looks of how they sported their protective garments from their Elemental Boosters, the dinosaurs looked like prehistoric knights of a medieval round table. They then proceeded to demonstrate their increased power and defense as they did a cavalry charge against Guzzlord, ramming him back a short distance from the Ultra Pillar and throwing him off guard again.
Guzzlord growled furiously at the sight of the armored dinos but as usual, he refused to relent and be defeated as he prepared to attack again but with murderous intent with his eyes glowing.
"Even with that new armor, Guzzlord's not going to quit!" snapped an annoyed Nikki.
"We've hit him with everything we got and it's still not enough, we need more to finish him off and get out of the game! Where's Tsukumaro, we need-!" Sarah began, starting to see the current futility in their efforts until they were interrupted by a graceful cawing from the left side of the beach.
Swiftly flying before everyone's eyes, Phoe-Phoe honed into view with a treasure chest at hand and held on tightly from her talons as she cawed again. She saw Guzzlord and glared at the Junkivore Pokemon before she divebombed towards him in a power dive and rammed the chest into his head before he could react to her kamikaze-like charge, roaring in pain as the chest hit his head as she passed. But, that wasn't all; as soon as she hit him with the chest she has in her talons, a gold sword wizzed by after her and struck Guzzlord on his head, bouncing off of it and spinning towards the sand and embedded itself onto it.
A hand then reached out to it and pulled it out as there, standing with his new weapon at hand along with his Pokemon including the newly-evolved Xatu and Phoe-Phoe returning to his side as she set the chest down, was Tsukumaro himself.
"You rang?" he smirked before eying Guzzlord with a glare as he thrashed about in pain from the blows he and Phoe-Phoe delivered to him.
"Old Man!"
"You found the chest!" Zorua and Terrakion gasped in surprise, also seeing the chest he, his Pokemon, and Phoe-Phoe brought with them.
"Where did you find it while dealing with Iron Face and the Shark Men?" Cobalion quizzed in awe.
"It was hidden in an empty beach resort we lured Iron Face to in order to destroy him. After he broke my old sword and had my Pokemon on the ropes, Phoe-Phoe saved us with a lucky find she came across thanks to her remarkable intelligence," the old advisor smiled, petting his phoenix companion as she nuzzled him.
"Well, don't just stand there! Get over here and give us a hand, just pull whatever you have that can help us beat this creep!" Wyveon shouted. Tsukumaro nodded and he quickly opened the chest, pulling out a random Premier Ball before releasing a Pokemon from it that very much resembled Avatar Roku's dragon companion, Fang, from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
It's name - Varokuna. Varokuna is about 30'6" in height with four strong legs and a pair of powerful wings that had fiery blue membranes with his body being dark brown and clear evidence of the profile of his scales contrasting with his orange underbelly. His horns were slightly curved on top of his head with his most intriguing figure being the spine running from his head down to his tail that resembled blue fire coupled with the fiery blue appendages on both sides of his head and mouth.
"What is that?" gasped Sarah in bewilderment from the new Pokemon as it laid its eyes on her after it was freed from its ball.
Varokuna nodded to the princess until Guzzlord roared at the larger dragon and drew his attention before he extended his pincers, hoping to crush him. But, the former unleashed a move known as Dance of Flames, covering the Junkivore Pokemon in a powerful whirlwind of flames that seared into him.
"It worked! Whatever that guy's doing, I'm glad he's on our side!" Brawleon said in relief, seeing Guzzlord writhing about in pain from the fiery whirlwind.
"It's not over yet, son! That powerful move may have that monster trapped but who knows how long it'll last until he breaks free!" Guardeon reminded.
"Well, hurry up then and blast that creeper to kingdom come before he makes a meal out of us again!" Glastrier barked.
"Listen closely, Princess! You and Sir Race have to make this count if we want to win, use the full power of your dinosaurs to finish that beast off!" Tsukumaro called to his goddaughter. "Send him to the Cyberspace graveyard with one final combined power takedown, now!"
"You got it! Race, have Swift and Meg aim for his head!" nodded Sarah, directing her boyfriend towards Guzzlord's head.
"Right! Now, it's time to end this cyber monstrosity for good!" Race agreed, the two summoning their dinosaurs' most powerful Move Cards and activating them through their Dino Bracer slots for the big finish.
"Fire and Thunder/Wind ULTIMA!"
Using the combined energy generated from their Elemental Boosters and their finisher Move Cards, Terry Blaze, Meg, Swift, Chomp, and Munch roared again as they all give off a bright glow in response to their respective elements. Their energy levels rapidly rising and feeling the emotions of their human masters, Swift and Meg surrounded themselves with powerful gusts of wind before forming them into a cone, Terry and Blaze coated themselves with their flames before they formed a giant wall of fire before them, and Chomp and Munch formed a pathway of lightning bolts that traveled across the water and focused it on Guzzlord.
The Junkivore Pokemon couldn't react in time to Chomp and Munch's final attack being fired first and he was heavily paralyzed, allowing all six of them to charge at him with their most powerful attacks in full force and give him a final beatdown of the ages.
Guzzlord was knocked back down once again but this time, the dinosaurs' final attacks were more than enough to completely overpower him as they targeted his head and he took in too much damage for him to endure. Feeling the full brunt of their assault and being unable to withstand their full might, the Junkivore Pokemon eventually began to have some purple gunk oozing out from him in several places at a growing rate (akin to what is called Malice from LOZ: BOTW's Calamity Ganon). He roared and writhed harder in agony as he tried to attack again but failed as he couldn't budge an inch from his current position in the ocean. It was too late for him to do anything as, with a final agonizing roar of pain to the sky, Guzzlord exploded in a purple cloud of smoke. Thus, signaling the end of the game and the heroes' victory over it.
Everyone was left in stunned silence over everything they saw for a few minutes until it was broken by six victorious roars from the dinosaurs, breaking them out of their stupor as they realized what their victory over Guzzlord, their allies, and Jin and Teng meant for all of them.
"We did it..." gasped Sarah at last before a wide grin appeared on her face and she jumped up to hug Race. "YATAAAAAAA!"
Everyone cheered loudly as they jumped for joy, hollered excitedly, clapped and cheered, and danced and hugged like there's no tomorrow. It was all over; the heroes and their Cyberspace allies/friends all won the game and now, the former group would finally go home with the defeat of their latest adversaries and the final boss.
"YES!"
"We did it!"
"We destroyed him!"
"WE WON!"
"We beat the whole game!"
"IT'S OVER!"
"YAY!"
"He's out of there!"
"Guzzlord, eliminated!"
"WHOO-HOO!"
"Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!" everyone screamed excitedly, unable to contain their joy and happiness over finally winning the game and the villains' ultimate defeat.
"SARAH!" The Night Lights cheered as they and the baby/younger Pokemon and dragons pounced on the princess happily.
"You guys...! You all, we're all just the best!" Kommo-o cheered, sounding like he was starting to cry which got his family's attention despite their continued cheering.
"...And, your death came at the hands of the heroes of this magnificent game. May your soul find sanctuary elsewhere," prayed Tsukumaro, looking out to the ocean and giving a small but respectful bow to Guzzlord before he sighed and a smile painted his face.
"We did it-NYA!"
"I can't believe it, arf, arf!"
"Me neither, we just took on Guzzlord and his cronies and beat him!"
"And, the first two Black Dragons are finally out of our hair!"
"We actually WON!" hollered Skitty, Yamper, Slurpuff, Tyrunt, and Amaura with glee.
"Well, I'll be damned, Mr. White. One final boss and a posse of cartoon monsters brought to life in this digital nightmare and it's all over, we actually won," sighed Eternatus to Reshiram.
"Indeed we have, Young Eternatus," agreed Reshiram, feeling relieved himself.
"Y-You did it! You b-b-beat Guzzlord and w-won the game!" cheered Donkapa happily.
"Great job, guys!" an ecstatic Torch agreed.
"Yeah... For a pack of flakessssss and rookiessssss, you all didn't do too bad, Kid," smirked an impressed Flameaconda.
"Well now, you surprised even me when you pulled off that final assault on that hungry renegade of a beast. Good show there," admitted Gerudeon.
"I never thought this is what comes out of extraordinary humans such as you all as well as your eclectic array of magical creatures that we cyber beings can only dream about until you came along. I'm very humbled to see what you've become, my friends," nodded Gryphincent, greatly amazed and in awe over everything.
"I gotta admit, you guys. You got guts," agreed Thunder, an impressed smile on his face.
"You guys rock!"
"Totally!" Wu and Wei praised ecstatically.
In their room for shelter, Ming Wu and her team along with the entire audience from the presentation heard and saw everything that happened. They too were ecstatic and were cheering wildly as Sarah and her family along with Race, his team, and their new friends had finally beaten the game. They were all amazed and relieved to see that their unintentional volunteers have beaten the game and did the impossible as a result despite the Black Dragons' hacking.
"They did it!"
"It's all over, Ming!"
"They turned the tables on those cronies and won!" three of her assistants yelped excitedly.
"They finally did it, Ming. They all won," smiled Tucker softly, placing a relieved hand on Ming Wu's left shoulder.
"Oh man, I'm glad that's over," sighed Ming Wu, sharing his smile as she wiped her brow in relief.
When their victory celebration died down, Sarah and Race deactivated the Element Boosters and returned their dinosaurs to their Chibi Forms (Terry and Blaze included) before they were joined by Silvally as he nuzzled his human mother happily and the baby Nifflers along with Cyber Sarah.
"Stellar work, child. My congratulations, you and your boyfriend and your dinosaurs have beaten that horrible creature and not only won the game but saved us all," Cyber Sarah smiled proudly.
"No, we all won. We've all beaten Guzzlord because we all worked together to not only destroy him but also put an end to two of the Black Dragons and his allies when they tried to kill us all," Sarah rebutted, smiling as she looked at everyone in their group. "We all won because we're a team and we all have each other's backs; we're friends and family and that's something they've underestimated."
Cyber Sarah nodded knowingly before she turned to the baby Nifflers as they all squeaked happily at her real-world counterpart from Silvally's back and she rubbed their bellies. "I see those little tykes couldn't help themselves and thus, snuck off with you behind our backs without letting me know."
"Yeah, they must've thought my family and I were a lot of fun so they just did a jailbreak and tagged along. I couldn't help myself with their cuteness."
"Oh, indeed. Mischievous little troublemakers, they are, but they mean well and wouldn't harm a fly. Since they didn't want to leave your side, if it wouldn't be too much of a bother, I suppose I won't mind letting you take them off my hands."
"You really mean that?"
"Of course, just try not to let them get into too much trouble on your way home," Cyber Sarah approved, putting her wand away.
"Ooooh," cooed Yamper before he sniffed Tsukumaro's new weapon and pawed at it. "Arf, arf! New sword, new sword!"
"We're glad you finally made it, Old Man. We had hoped Iron Face wasn't giving you a storm of a bad time," James joked to the old advisor.
"Is that...?" began Nikki, noticing the new sword in his hands as he presented it to the group and nodded.
"It was Phoe-Phoe who found it amongst the chest's contents and saved me with it," Tsukumaro replied, petting his phoenix perched on his right shoulder again as she cooed happily under his touch and Varokuna returned to his side.
"Wow/Whoa..." gasped the Cyber Pokemon School Gang in awe of the new sword.
"Goodness me! What an exquisite piece of combative art you have there, Mr. Wong," Mr. Studious observed in fascination. "I've never seen anything like it amongst the artillery players would have to find and use for the game."
"And, what a cool Pokemon you found...!"
"H-Hi there, big guy," blinked Jim and Jenny to Varokuna, who smiled kindly to the cyber penguins and nodded.
Zorua looked at the old advisor's new sword and she couldn't help but chuckle cheekily, "Well, well, well, about time you got an upgrade, Old Man. I never thought I'd see the day you finally trade in your old blade for a new one right out of the box. That piece of junk had seen better days, you know!"
"Button it, Zorua!" hissed Tsukumaro to the Tricky Fox Pokemon.
Equally excited to have won the game and defeated the last villains standing in their way, Anga and Swoop came over and both shared a pair of loving nuzzles with their caretakers. Then, flew over to Sarah and Race, the latter flying over to Race before he landed on top of Sarah's head and the former fluttering to Race before she took her place on his head instead.
"Oh..."
"Uh, is this normal with you guys...?" Sarah and Race blinked.
"Well now, I see Anga and Swoop have now suddenly taken a liking to you two," chuckled Cyber Race, joining them and his wife.
"That's because we looked like you only 10+ years younger and we're just kids," Sarah replied, nervously looking at Swoop as he happily rested on her head.
"On the contrary, you've misunderstood their intentions; Swooping Evils are not just famous for their being an encephalophage species but they're also known for their intelligence and in this case, Swoop and Anga here are no exception. They're able to tell whether or not a person can be trustworthy or a lying little scallywag and judging by how you all fought and looked after one another, you've allowed them to trust you and earn you their companionship."
"So, as they did with you when you first raised them and taught them to live in harmony with people and protect them, they won't leave their side after Sarah and Race proved themselves worthy of their trust?" Zeraora deducted, getting a confirming nod from Cyber Race.
"Oh, great," sighed Sarah nervously.
"Just our luck," added Race, feeling the same.
"Not to worry, dears. They'll be of great help to you in the real world and if you want, you can always reference our notes that we've taken in raising them and my other children you've decided to take in. We did make copies in case we lost the original writings, after all," Cyber Sarah reassured, she and Cyber Race handing their real-world doubles their journals on how to care for their mythical friends joining the pair.
"Actually, Sarah, if you don't mind..." began Thunder as he, Feathers, and Wu and Wei approached them.
"We talked it over, and, uh..." added Feathers nervously, rubbing her left foreleg as she sat like a dog when she went next and nuzzled him.
"We just wanted to say..."
"...We wanna come with you guys!" finished Wu and Wei beggingly.
"...What?" Sarah blinked in surprise at them.
"Duh! We could have a blast being with you and if our friends are hightailing it out of the game with you, we're coming, too!" Thunder went on.
"You can take the Trio Prima out of the game..."
"But, you can't take the Trio Prima out of us!" Wu and Wei said, finishing each other's sentence as twins (or twin heads) do.
Race chuckled as he petted Feathers' head, knowing what they needed after everything they went through, "Well, I suppose it won't be bad having you along for the ride given all the drama you managed to waddle through."
"That Guzzlord sure was no cakewalk, that creep of a Pokemon or Ultra Beast is an absolute tank," grunted Terrakion, feeling a bruise the cyber Ultra Beast had most likely delivered onto him during the final battle.
"His power is terrifying and truly unlike anything we've ever seen during our travels," Virizion noted.
"With that kind of power and the prominent danger he presented while we were battling him, it's easy to see why he's so feared and how he was able to destroy Dia's world when he first crossed over," agreed Cobalion grimly.
"Now, we know why Tapu Koko had to send you and your team that day to Dia's world, Princess," Keldeo commented, greatly concerned. "Guzzlord really is as bad as you guys said he was even if he was just a digital clone in this game. But, battling him earlier, it felt so real..."
"He's creepy!"
"Make that ultra-creepy!"
"I'm never gonna sleep again for weeks after seeing him!" Diamond, Pearl, and Amethyst whimpered, a little scared.
"I only hope that freakazoid doesn't pay a visit to our world after everything we went through back in Dia's world. I don't want to go through another life of only fighting after he came into the picture because of that stupid human who destroyed Alola with his crap," grunted Raikou, frustrated.
"We can only hope that will never come to be as long as we are prepared for what he's about to unleash should he do come to our world, Brother," Entei nodded in agreement.
"We told everyone at the Aether Foundation and Grid Battleforce everything after we crossed over to our new home along with Sarah and her family with them and they'll let us all know when and if Guzzlord will appear in our world," Suicune agreed reassuringly.
Sarah nodded as well before she turned to Varokuna, "I don't know how you did but if you haven't come along, we would've been dead by now."
Varokuna nodded kindly to her before he then warmly spoke before being returned to his Premier Ball, "The one thing that mattered most to me is that you're all safe and that's what's more important. My power will be of great use to you and those you hold dear whenever you may need it."
"So, now that we have the chest and used whatever is available to help us beat Guzzlord, does that mean...?"
"Yeah! Doesn't that mean that...?" Craggeon and Tyson noted, realizing what could happen next.
"Yeah, but aren't we forgetting one tiny little problem involving a dragon of our new friends with us?" Guardeon reminded, directing everyone to Draggie.
"Oh, you're right, I just remembered! We still haven't found any trace of Draggie's parents so they could be anywhere in the vicinity of Cyber World or the rest of Cyberspace for all we know!" gasped Sarah in shocked realization.
"Aww, Mama, we haven't seen what's in the chest yet besides our new friend!" pouted Nebby.
"You're not going to show us what else is in there besides that nice guy that saved us?" Nebula agreed, feeling the same way.
"Not yet, you two. Whatever's inside the chest may be of great help to us in our own war against Team Eclipse as we've seen from Tsukumaro's new sword and that new Pokemon we met. And, if Evox rears his ugly head again in Coral Harbor, Devon and the others will be glad to borrow some gear if he renders the Grid Battleforce arsenal useless somehow."
"You mean Evox will somehow find a way to hack into Grid Battleforce's computers should he come back with a Plan B after his Chimera Zord failed in the Dino Charge Rangers' dimension?" questioned Venom.
"That's the idea. But, most importantly, we still need to find Draggie's parents and bring them back together with him if they're in trouble."
"I agree, that chest will be most viable to us and we'll never know whatever else is inside it besides Varokuna will come in handy," Tsukumaro concurred, using a mental and unspoken "Reducio" spell to shrink the Endgame Chest and put it in his pocket.
"Varokuna/Varokuna/Varokuna?" puzzled everybody.
Tsukumaro just shrugged, "That's the Pokemon's name, he told me while you all were chatting away."
"Draggie, honey! There you are!"
"Well, well, son, I never thought I'd finally see you making some new friends after what had happened with those lizard vermin."
Everyone jumped while Draggie froze in shock; he looked as though he remembered the two voices that just spoke directly to him as he then scanned the area carefully for whoever the voices belonged to. He soon got his answer when he and everyone else looked above them and saw two dragons that are about the same size as Rayquaza descending down from the heavens above.
The male dragon of the two was green and had an ivory scaly underbelly that was lined with orange, orange fur on his head with two additional orange tuffs coupled with a purple tuff in the middle, orange spines running along his back, and two fork-pointed purple horns. The dragon also had blue eyes, two orange whiskers, sharp fangs, clawed paws (one of his paws on his forelegs holding a blue orb), and a yellow-orange tag on the tip of his tail.
The female dragon, on the other hand, had a yellow orb in her hand coupled with small dark blue spines and a gold-tipped tail. The same shade of dark blue is prevalent on her hair on the top of her head and she had tan marks to go along with it while running to the tip of her tail and in a few spots across the chest.
"MOMMY, DADDY!" cheered Draggie, streaking over to the two dragons and hugging them tightly as tears welled up in his eyes.
"Oh, son, I was so afraid we'd lost you..."
"Thank Draco and the stars above you're alright..."
"T-T-T-Those are b-big, d-d-dragons," gulped Snom, looking unnerved by the dragons that are meant to be Draggie's parents.
"Wait, those dragons here... Are they really your parents?" blinked Big Buff.
"They're massive!" gawked Puff.
"Big dragons!" cried Camo and Rosa's children in bewilderment.
"Forget big, they're HUGE! Look at the size of them!"
"They're just about as big as Rayquaza, maybe even more!" Hashimoto and Ching Wan noted in utter surprise.
"Sir Draggie, those two dragons... Your parents, what kind of dragons are they exactly?" Tsukumaro inquired to the little dragon.
"My Mommy and Daddy: Dragon Lord and Azure Dragon," he noted simply.
Tsukumaro blinked as he began to recall something about the two dragons he read about in his family's library back in the Alola Region, "Ah, yes, of course... I remember; I've read about them in a particular book pertaining to dragons such as them. The Dragon Lord is greatly worshipped in ancient times as he was unrivaled in both wisdom and power, being mostly tied with rainfall, rivers, floods, and tornadoes, all of which are believed to be the dragons rising towards the sky."
He then turned to Draggie's mother as he continued, "By contrast, the Azure Dragon represents the east and the spring season, being one of the four symbols/four constellations that are part of Chinese astronomy with each of them corresponding to a cardinal direction and season."
"You must be knowledgable about our kind if you've heard about us, then," quipped the impressed Dragon Lord. "Then, we are humbly in your debt for finding and looking out for our boy while he was lost."
"We'll never be able to thank you enough for all that you've done for him," Azure said to the heroes and the Cyber Gang gratefully.
"No, no, we would've done the same for you had the situation been any different and we found you as a result," reassured the old advisor.
"Congratulations! You've made it to the end of Mythical Quest, you won!" declared an automated voice as the heroes realized what this meant and everyone saw a warp zone appearing before them from above.
"Looks like we're leaving," Eclipse said, voicing his family's thoughts.
"I suppose it's now time for you all to head home," Cyber Race smiled softly, knowing that this was goodbye for the Cyber Gang's new friends.
"We're going home!" cheered Poipole ecstatically.
"Man, I thought we'd never get out of here!" sighed Silvally, feeling greatly relieved.
"At least we won't be alone," Sarah nodded before she turned to Chance, his herd, Gallus, and his flock. "Chance, Gallus, guys, thank you for everything."
"Hey, now, no worries there, child. We were glad to help you all," Chance smiled warmly.
"Knowing that you're going back to your home safely and we'll be returning to our new one is the best thing you've ever given us and more," Gallus added with a knowing nod and smile.
"I'm gonna miss you all..."
"...Actually, Sarah, if I may propose a final favor," Chance went on, confusing the princess. "If you and your family don't mind, will you look after Celestia and Roseluck for me and my herd?"
"What...?" blinked Sarah as Roseluck and Celestia joined them.
"It's time for them to take their first steps into a much larger world, I've done all I could to look after them since they're the only unicorns around in Cyberspace. But, after everything we've been through for the past couple of days, I think they deserve to be with you."
He then turned to the unicorns as he smiled tearfully at them, saying, "Celestia, Roseluck, take care of yourselves. Keep an eye on each other and try to be on your best behavior for Sarah when you go to her and her family's world."
Celestia and Roseluck nodded as they gave a tearful nuzzle to Chance and their former herd knowing that it was time for them to leave for a new home and family.
Sarah then turned to Gallus as she thought, "You know, Gallus, if you and your flock ever choose to come with me..."
"No, Sarah, thank you for the offer, though. This is our home and this world is where we'll stay, I'm going to take my flock back to Level 9 and remain there where we'll be safe and no evil beings with black hearts like the Black Dragons would dare trouble us again," Gallus smiled kindly, declining the offer as the griffons all agreed.
Sarah sighed but she gave a sad yet understanding smile, "I understand, you still have your young to look after and we were responsible for destroying your old nesting grounds back in Level 2. I won't stop you, just look after yourselves and I'll visit with my family whenever we can, alright?"
"Of course."
"We will look forward to your return should you so choose," Chance and Gallus promised.
"Are you sure you wanna split? Cyber World still has a lot of cyber buffets and shops to browse and try out," replied Cyber Ash.
"Sorry, but we have to go. Our friends back in our world are really worried for us and we've put them through too much waiting and worrying already. I won't be surprised if they eventually end up running around like headless chickens if we didn't get back," Race declined gently.
"Oh well, I suppose you're right. But, hey, don't wait around forever if you want to pop by for a visit, alright?" Cyber Lana smiled appreciatingly.
"It's been fun having you all here even though it wasn't intended and we'll be looking forward to you coming back someday," Kong Mu added warmly.
"We'll miss you all!"
"You be good and always watch out for each other, alright?"
"Feel free to come back at any time!" Stella, Wilbur, and Mr. Studious put in.
"We will," nodded Nikki.
"Don't let the cyber virus bugs bite," joked James just as the Warp Zone finalized its shape and was ready to take the heroes back home.
"I guess, this is goodbye," sighed Cyber Sarah.
"Bye/Bye/Bye!" everyone greeted as the Cyber Gang and Draggie and his parents all part ways with the heroes and they waved to each other one last time.
"Thanks for all the help!" called Nikki.
Then, when the heroes were all ready, the Warp Zone that beamed them into Cyberspace from the real world took them back to their original home as the Cyber Gang watched on. And, just like that, with a final BOOM and a flash of light as their figures disappeared, the heroes were returned home and it was just Draggie, all his friends, and his parents alone at the beach just as it had been before their new friends and the Black Dragons came.
"Bye, Sarah!" Jim and Jenny shouted as everyone waved to their departing friends, hoping that one day, they'll see them again very soon no matter how long it takes.
Meanwhile, back at the safe room where the presentation audience, Ming Wu, and her team were still taking shelter from the scuffle from the others and the remaining four Black Dragons, Sarah, her family, Race, and his team were materialized back in the real world. Their appearance took everyone by surprise as they all cheered for their safe return and their victory over the game.
"You're back! I thought you'd all be stuck in the game forever, all of you!" cried Ming Wu, relieved as she and her team came to the heroes and gave them all relieved yet happy hugs.
"Yeah, there's no place like home. That's what they all say," smiled Star as she chuckled, feeling glad to be home again.
"Everybody okay?" Tucker questioned, wanting to make sure the heroes are alright.
"Yeah, we're just glad to be out of there in one piece," nodded Nikki along with the Berk dragons.
"But, what happened to Jin and Teng? Did something happen to them while we were all fighting Cyber Guzzlord and his cronies?" James pondered.
Ming Wu, Tucker, and her team all smiled slyly at each other as the former two revealed the first two Black Dragons and their ultimate fate while they held their stone statue forms, causing the heroes before them to gasp in surprise and stunned awe.
"We had a pretty good idea when we saw them like this," Ming Wu smirked.
"But, what about Ash and the others along with the Jungle Fury Rangers? How are they all doing?" Calyrex inquired, wanting to know what happened to his family's friends.
"They're still duking it out with the last four Black Dragons. Last we heard, things are not getting any better since they're putting up quite a fight," Tucker replied, relaying what had been going down while they were in the game. "I'm surprised it took you nearly the whole day to complete the whole thing since they've been going at each other for hours but the worst part is, we don't know exactly how they're doing."
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Silvally barked.
"But, how? Mao and his brothers might already have them on the ropes by now!" Skylar argued.
"But, we can't just do nothing! We have to go back and help them!" Curly agreed.
"And, how do you plan on going against the remaining four Black Dragons? We know your doubles did us away with Jin and Teng but four's still too many and they're just as powerful as them given they're in the same class among Dai Shi's ranks," Ming Wu noted.
Sarah thought back to her and her family's new Pokemon and mythicals and just smiled, "I hope you're ready to see your creations in the flesh if you have a drone on your end, Ming."
Back in the town hall, things were indeed no better as the Power Rangers and the Black Dragons had been going about their fight for the rest of the day while Sarah and her family were all doing their best to survive in the game. By now, they've completely exhausted themselves in fighting at their full strength as the destruction of much of anything in the town hall proved they've been going at each other for a while. But, neither side was willing to give in knowing that the ultimate fate of Dai Shi and his Beast race are in their hands.
"Damn, those kids... I suppose, we've, underestimated them," panted Hao, snarling as he sweated.
"I'll admit, you kids aren't as weak as we once thought," Zhao snorted, keeping his weapon pointed at the Ultra Rescue and Dino Fury Rangers. "Your Pai Zhuq training really did improve you but it doesn't matter..."
"Once our brothers finish off your friend and her family, nothing will stop the return of our master!"
"Master Dai Shi and the Beasts will rise again and take your world by force and we'll finish what we started over a decade ago!" Zhen and Mao snapped.
"Ash, I don't know how much longer we can last," Kiawe panted worriedly, he, Pyroar, Charizard, and Turtonator looking like they had it.
"We're almost through," agreed Lana, she, Sandy, and Brionne looking like they can't fight another minute.
"Even without Jin and Teng, those four are more than enough for us to take on," added an exhausted Mallow.
"What are we gonna do?" asked a panting Sophocles.
"I don't know..." Ash replied, starting to lose hope.
"We've hit them with everything we got and it's not enough for them," sighed Lillie, feeling she and Snowy couldn't hold out much longer.
The Jungle Fury Rangers were all in agreement with their successors' sentiments; they've been going at Mao, Hao, Zhao, and Zhen for hours ever since Sarah and her family were all zapped into Cyberspace all in part to Jin and Teng and their new plan to steal the Twilight Gem's powers. But, they had also used up much of their energy trying to keep up with and defend themselves and their fellow rangers from them and they were also starting to run on fumes for all they know.
"How long do we have to hold them off until Sarah and her family get out of Ming Wu's game, RJ?" Casey questioned his and his friends' mentor.
"In hindsight, I haven't thought about that but hopefully, soon," RJ answered.
"Not encouraging to say the least," Lily commented.
"But, it'll have to do!" replied Dom, not wanting to give up hope.
"I'm all for that!" agreed Theo.
"We must hold on a little longer until they get here!"
"If only to prevent Dai Shi's return from being inevitable!" added Jarrod and Camille reassuringly.
"Heh, end of the line for you, losers," smirked an exhausted Zhen, looking triumphant.
"But, don't worry, you'll be sure to have nice front row seats to what'll be the greatest show the world has ever seen. And, that will be the return of our master once our brothers end your two friends and take the Twilight Gem's powers for his revival," sneered Hao.
But, the Black Dragons' hopes for Dai Shi's return were completely dashed when everyone was greeted by the sight of Aku, Avel, Flutter, Flitter, Phoe-Phoe, Celestia, Gerudeon, Andres, Whisker, Thunder, Feathers, and Wu and Wei charging inside and started fighting them.
Mao, Zhen, Hao, and Zhao were taken completely by surprise as they were ambushed without warning and tried their best to muster up whatever strength they have to force them back but it was no use as they were relentless in their assault on the remaining four of Dai Shi's greatest warriors. The Power Rangers didn't know what to think as they were also taken aback by the unexpected surprise assistance although they had a good idea of who could be responsible for the attack. As if that wasn't enough to throw them off guard, they were soon greeted by Swoop and Anga along with Flameaconda, Naguara, Donkapa and Donka, and Torch as well as Paris, Mia, and Fuki in their Chibi Forms coming to guard them.
"SSSSSSSSStand back!" called Flameaconda.
"W-We, got t-this!" added Donkapa as her daughter nodded.
"You've done more than enough from what we're seeing," Roseluck said in agreement as she, Silentstalk, Neptune, Nimbus, Chen Li, Mae Ling, Freya, and Polar homed into view and joined them.
"W-Who are you?!"
"I don't remember seeing you all before!"
"What's going on?" Ash, Sophocles, and Lillie gasped in shock and bewilderment.
"Would you want the long version, short version, or the abridged version of what your friend and her family have been up to while they're in Cyberspace?" quizzed Polar to the stunned group.
"Uh... How about the abridged version once our unwelcome house guests are taken care of?" answered Dom, answering for the speechless rangers.
"But, where's Sarah?" Lily asked before said princess made her return, fully morphed into her Solgaleo Ranger Form and in her Beast-X Mode (after reuniting with Solar) along with her family and Race in tow (the BF Champion and Tsukumaro using the Beast-X King Ultra Bow again and his new sword).
"Well, well, well, what do we have here? Four Black Dragons already setting the stage for their final curtain call," the princess taunted.
"Hmph, all pooped out and with nowhere left to run," added a smirking Race.
"Sarah!"
"Race!"
"Nikki! James! Tsukumaro!"
"They're all here, even her family's back!"
"They're okay, alright!"
"Thank goodness!" Ash, Mallow, Lillie, Kiawe, Sophocles, and Lana cheered in excited relief.
"Mao Xieren, Zhao Yuhan, Zhen Yu, Hao Kang, it's time for us to settle the score once and for all!" Tsukumaro declared as the Black Dragons quickly got to their feet and faced their enemies, looking at them in shock.
"It's them!"
"No, they're back!" Hao and Zhen spluttered in total disbelief.
"Impossible, you shouldn't have lived to tell the tale! You were supposed to die in the game after Jin Ge and Teng Ge hacked your friend's game and beamed you all into Cyberspace but you escaped and got reinforcements!" snapped Mao.
"How did you defeat our older brothers and get out of the game when all of their hacks were made to ensure that you died and we get the Twilight Gem's powers for Master Dai Shi?!" Zhao barked furiously.
"You should've known we'd make friends in high places while we were going through the game," Sarah spat back. "What's more, your brothers underestimated the game characters Ming Wu created, two of which your brothers were unfortunate enough to face and be part of a stone figure set with four empty spots left for you!"
"What did you say?!" screeched a shocked Zhao.
"Your brothers lost to our cyber doubles when they gave us time to escape after they invaded their home to look for us. Too bad they didn't have the time to practice a few new tricks that could've saved them from a fate worse than death when they used their magic and two creatures of theirs to seal their doom," Race remarked to them, keeping the Beast-X King Ultra Bow pointed at the villains.
"And, let's just say we had help in beating your hacks from a few friends that decided to join us thanks to Ming Wu and everything we did to bring peace back to Cyberspace and all the innocence that lived in it," finished James as Flitter and Flutter came back to him and Nikki.
"You're going down, lizard clowns!" Tou-Tou declared proudly.
"And, you're all going down hard!" Silvally concurred.
"You've had it, dragon breath!"
"Give it up, lizard dudes! You're gonna lose!" Glaciel and Delosky spat, getting into their battle stances with the latter's sisters along with Thora, Flora, Ivory, Ivy, Swirls, and Orpheus.
"Why, you little-!" screamed an infuriated Mao as he and his brothers lunged at Sarah and her family again, their will to avenge and revive their fallen master renewed and amplified with the news of their beaten older brothers/leaders.
But, they didn't get a chance to attack them as they hoped because Chen Li, Mae Ling, and Glaciel darted in front of them and stopped the four in their tracks, blocking them and demonstrating their superior martial arts skills as they delivered block and parry after block and parry between them. No matter how hard or fast the Black Dragons tried to attack the trio, they would always block or parry their moves before they would do the same until they eventually used Aura Sphere to blast Dai Shi's last remaining warriors back.
Then, Wang Lun appeared and made his disdain for evil and all those who willingly serve and align themselves with the dark side known as he unleashed Surging Strikes and made way for Torch and Freya to use High Horsepower and ram them with unparalleled force.
"Snivy, Virizion, Shaymin, Leafeon, Sawsbuck, Grass Formation! Now!" shouted Sarah, activating her Dino Gadget and pulling out a Grass Move Card as her chosen Grass Types got into position, knowing what she has in mind. "Ability, activate! Emerald Garden!"
Slashing and activating Emerald Garden through the slot on her Dino Bracer, the little princess' chosen Grass Pokemon all became surrounded by a flurry of leaves before they formed into a sphere of glass energy. Then, when the Black Dragons were caught off guard, they soon launched the sphere at them and blasted them back while also draining them of their energy.
"Hey, what was that move?"
"I don't know!"
"I've never seen anything like it before!"
"What does it do?" Dom, Kiawe, Lily, and Camille gawked in bewilderment.
"Emerald Garden is an After-Loss Move that is used for Grass Dinosaurs in the Dinosaur King anime; a creature of a Grass Attribute can charge up an energy sphere and blast them while simultaneously draining our enemies of their own energy," Sarah informed, holding out her activated card.
"And, as you all can see here, Race and I tweaked and experimented with the cards we have so that they'll work on our Pokemon as well as our dinosaurs. Case in point - my Virizion, Sawsbuck, Shaymin, Leafeon, and Snivy are capable of using it as well as my Grass Dinosaurs! I hope you and your brothers enjoy some prehistoric mayhem, Mao, 'cause this is the very last dose of pain you'll be experiencing which is a message from us to you all and your long-dead master, Dai Shi: YOU LOSE!"
"And, allow us to pay you back for everything you've put us through in Cyberspace, in full!" Race added, he and Sarah bringing out Chomp, Munch, Swift, and Meg's cards before they slashed them through the slots on their Dino Bracers and summoned said dinosaurs in their original modes but having been shrunk down to an appropriate size that'll accommodate them in their current conditions.
"WHOA! Did you guys see that?"
"Are those dinosaurs we're all seeing?!"
"Real, live dinosaurs!"
"Yeah, those two are Ceratopsians and those are a Megaraptor and an Allosaurus!"
"No kidding! And, I thought they went extinct eons ago!" Casey, Mallow, Lana, Lily, and Theo balked in shock and amazement.
"It's like what we've seen with the dinosaurs in the Dino Charge Rangers' dimension!" Kiawe spluttered in disbelief.
"Whoo-whee! Ming Wu's really cranking up the creature market for her game and even her team was slacking off on that department," RJ commented, impressed and slightly taken aback from seeing the dinosaurs before him and his fellow rangers.
"So, you want war by playing Hardball with us, huh? I see, and I suppose by your last-ditch defense, you're all finally tired of living," sneered Hao as he and his brothers summoned their Infernal Dragon Spirits and Nikki, James, Tsukumaro, Race, and Sarah did the same as they summoned their Hummingbird, Okapi, Hawk, Eagle, and Lion Spirits in response.
"I think we can all accommodate you all for your end alright!" Zhao spat smugly.
"This time, things will be different and you'll all fall before the might of our master, Dai Shi!" Zhen snarled.
"You may have ended our brothers but I promise you that we'll avenge them by a thousandfold!" Mao growled in fury.
"Don't try any of those tricks, you're not the only ones who learned a new thing or two given what we've shown you earlier!" Nikki huffed determinedly.
"It ends here," finished James as they all got into their battle stances and began their final fight.
In the background and a short distance away from the action, making use of a drone and viewing the entire fight from their shelter room, Ming Wu and her team along with the citizens from the presentation were watching everything going on. The scientists/game developers in question were in awe and fascination overseeing their own creations in the flesh and doing battle with the Black Dragons. The audience with them also cheered, all of them enthralled and in total amazement to see their virtual creatures interacting with their unexpected volunteers in the real world as they helped to fight off the last of the threat of Dai Shi.
"They're, they're doing it... They work, they're actually fighting alongside them!"
"They're absolutely tangible away from the game and Cyberspace!"
"I didn't think we could make them this good to actually stand and fight alongside Sarah and her family," three of the scientists commented in stunned awe.
"They're amazing, Ming," Tucker breathed, amazed.
"They sure are," agreed a proud Ming Wu as she cried tears of total joy.
"You fools won't stand a chance against us once we kill your masters and take back the Twilight Gem's powers!" snapped Hao, going up against Wang Lun, Chen Li, Mae Ling, and Glaciel as they wailed on him while he tried his best to defend himself and his dragon spirit brawls with Swift.
"You can't destroy my master and her family as long as their spirits are within us Cyberspace Pokemon along with their love and friendship!" Wang Lun spat back, holding nothing back as he fought.
"Your brothers dared to do them harm after beaming them into Cyberspace and you all were afraid that they and we would foil your plans eventually," Chen Li added, glaring daggers at Hao as he followed up. "They paid the price for toying with them and threatening to kill them for your master's sake and now, you'll end up sharing their fate, too!"
"This world has no place for monsters such as you!"
"Your time's up!" Mae Ling and Glaciel concurred.
"You boys messed with the wrong people and creatures just to bring back your long-dead dragon!" Race sneered as he fired away at Zhao while Roseluck, Orpheus, Robbie, Bella, Torch, Neptune, and Swala combatted against him.
"Oh, yeah? Well, what are you gonna do about it, pretty boy? You're nothing but petty mortals who are on your way to death's door-D'OH!" Zhao taunted before he was bashed by Cocoa as she snarled and bared her teeth at him.
"Come up to us and say it to our faces!" she barked defiantly.
Tsukumaro was going up against Mao along with his Pokemon, Phoe-Phoe, and Rumble assisting him and Togepi sticking close to her mother figure so that what she went through with Iron Face wouldn't happen again. Mao had his saber at hand and was using all of his power, speed, flight, and dependence to combat against the old advisor's grace, agility, energy, and strength as he fought with his new sword, not giving him one chance to take a hit or cut on him.
"What the hell's wrong with your sword?" Mao demanded as they got into a deadlock.
Tsukumaro pushed him back after a few seconds and advanced on him, dealing him a few on-point blows and cuts before he stopped and showed him his new weapon while Phoe-Phoe hovered above him as he said, "I earned it from a little friend of mine who recognized my courage and bravery in fighting to protect the ones I hold dear and risked herself to give me a helping hand; a weapon made and meant only for me-it's, as Ms. Wu called it, the Hogwarts Eternal Sword."
Zhen was up against Nikki, James, their Pokemon, Flitter, and Flutter along with the human pair's Okapi and Hummingbird Spirits as they bombarded them with flurry after flurry of attacks, punches, and kicks, not wanting to give him another chance to get the jump on them as their brothers did with them and the rest of their family.
"How, why?! How did you two become so powerful in such a short time?" he demanded, wanting answers as to how he and his brothers couldn't beat them after once considering them weak. "You shouldn't be this strong since you're meant to be the weakest link in the girl's family chain!"
"Perhaps you should've seen and done your research into what the Pai Zhuq spirit masters and our love for our daughter have done to get us this far," scoffed James.
"As long as our daughter's still breathing and she continues to love us just as her real parents had, we'll never be worthless to her and everyone else we see as our family and friends. Go!" Nikki added, allowing her Hummingbird Spirit to go into a tizzy and peck Zhen like crazy.
As for Swift, Meg, Munch, and Chomp, they were going up against the four remaining Infernal Dragon spirits alongside Naguara, Swala, Kitsune, Furaha, Mihimu, Shauku, Faraji, Callisto, Kyubi, and Aku with Sarah overseeing them and guiding them as she kept an eye out for any tricks they're likely to pull.
"Hmph, you wretched vermin give dragons of our Chinese lineage a terrible reputation!"
"Now, we're gonna kill you!" barked Furaha and Shauku with disdain.
"Time to say goodnight to you and your masters, for good!" added Aku, glaring at the Infernal Dragon spirits as he jumped forward and slashed one of them hard.
"You all need to cool off!" squawked Callisto as she darted forward and clawed the spirits with her talons before slapping another with her wings, hard.
This gave Kyubi, Mihimu, Faraji, Naguara, Swala, Fuhara, and Shauku the chance to attack as they nodded to each other and proceeded to wail on the spirits themselves, the resulting pain the dragon spirits took leading to their masters letting out pained yelping, groaning, and flinching as they felt the blows their spirits keep on coming. Knowing that this is their only chance to put a stop to the last remaining traces of Dai Shi once and for all, the princess whistled to her boyfriend as she produced her Elemental Boosters from her Dino Gadget for Chomp and Munch, prompting him to nod and do the same with Swift and Meg's boosters before they slashed and activated them.
"Ready, Wind/Thunder Booster," spoke the Dino Bracers as the boosters were activated.
"Elemental Boost!" Sarah and Race boomed, allowing Chomp and Munch and Swift and Meg to regain their armor and prepare for one final assault as the two sides regrouped.
"Give it up, boys! You've lost your brothers now as well as your master years ago by the Jungle Fury Rangers and their masters and everyone in Claw Town and the world is saved from the failed return of the Beasts!"
"It's all over for you and you have no chance of survival once we put an end to your scheme! Surrender!" Sarah and Race spoke again in demand.
"Urgh... I, I don't believe it...! You actually did it!" panted a worn-out Hao.
"Y-You've defeated Dai Shi's greatest warriors: the Black Dragons!" added a humbled Zhao.
"You may have been able to defeat us with your entire posse..."
"...But, rest assured, you meddling kids, our master will avenge us and our brothers by a thousandfold!" finished Zhen and Mao.
"Too bad your late master won't have any front row seats to his greatest failure since you're no different from his creepy kung fu cronies," scoffed James, looking unimpressed at their defiance.
"...WHY, YOU LITTLE-!?" the Black Dragons snapped, finally having enough as they commanded their spirits to pulverize the heroes in one final group attack.
"Not today, you four!"
"Not any day!" spat a contemptive Sarah and Race as their dinosaurs got into position and they brought out their signature Move Cards.
"Ability, activate - Mayfly/Thunder Bazooka!"
Their dinosaurs glowed in tune with their armor as they unleashed two torrents of wind and thunder and struck the Infernal Dragon Spirits, causing even more damage to them and their masters. At this point, they couldn't stand up to the pain any longer and they all fell to the ground, looking extremely worse for wear but ripe for a final beatdown before they would end up suffering the same fate. They didn't have enough or any strength left to make a quick getaway so it was over for them before they even realized it, just as the others could see clearly.
"They're doing it, look!"
"Alright! The Black Dragons don't have any energy left!"
"Go for it, Sarah!"
"Don't let up, Race!"
"Give one from all of us!"
"Don't let them get away, now's your chance!"
"Hit 'em at full power!"
"You show them, guys! Sock it to 'em!" Sarah's fellow rangers cheered, knowing that victory is now at hand.
"Ability, activate!" the young couple screamed, taking out their dinosaurs' final Move Cards and activating them via their Dino Bracers for their ultimate attacks. "WIND/THUNDER ULTIMA!"
Roaring proudly and charging their energies, Chomp, Munch, Swift, and Meg all charged at their enemies (the former two managing to paralyze the Black Dragons and their spirits before doing so) and rammed at them at full speed, knocking them out and making them crash into one of the walls on the Town Hall while ending the Infernal Dragon Spirits.
"May the searing rays of Solgaleo's sun and Lunala's shining moon show mercy on you fools and your souls," Tsukumaro prayed grimly as he brought out his wand and pointed it directly at the battered, bruised, beaten, and humbled Black Dragons and used Duro and Diminuendo to turn them into stone statues.
Everyone in the main hall cheered as they all breathed a sigh of relief as the rangers along with Ash and the rest of the gang happily reunited with Sarah and her family, Wang Lun commemorating their victory as he brought his hands together in prayer and bowed while saying, "Buddha, bless you..."
"You did it, guys! You beat the Black Dragons, you were awesome!"
"I couldn't believe it when you finally came back and clobbered them all with unexpected help!"
"So, these are the Pokemon and mythicals you came across in Cyberspace! That is so cool!" Ash, Mallow, and Sophocles cheered.
"And, you even got real dinosaurs helping you guys win! I never thought there would be any real ones here like in the Dino Charge Rangers' dimension but Ming Wu made it possible!" Kiawe smiled brightly as Sarah and Race returned Chomp, Munch, Swift, and Meg to their Chibi Forms and they reunited with their masters.
"Totally wicked!" nodded Lana in excitement.
"Now, we have more help to give us a hand in finding your real parents and defeating Lothor and Team Eclipse!" added an ecstatic Lillie, the School Gang's Pokemon all giving off agreeing nods and happy yells.
They and their predecessors then took a look at the Cyberspace Pokemon, mythicals, and dragons that all greeted them warmly and they couldn't stop fawning or looking in awe over them. They had a feeling that Ming Wu had something to do with it but now, they got total confirmation that what she and her team created for the game was the real deal.
"These creatures are amazing! How did you get to meet and have so many of them?" Casey asked in wonder.
"You guys better sit down, it's a long, long story," Sarah smiled.
It took some time to explain everything that happened in the game which included Sarah and her godfather along with Race having to use Reparo to fix everything that was destroyed in their final fight with the Black Dragons including the destroyed wall. But, once the repairs are done and Sarah and her family are no longer bombarded with questions from her eager friends and they told them what had gone down, their friends and allies were left in total fascination and stunned awe over their adventure in Cyberspace.
They even went as far as to introduce their new companions from Ming Wu's game to them and the rest of Claw Town when news of the Black Dragons' defeat and the confirmed failed revival of Dai Shi spread, a big celebration that ended up being held by the entire village to celebrate their heroes' success and show their gratitude for ending the last traces of the Infernal Dragon for good. It turned out to be an eyeopener of wonder, amazement, and immense fascination for the villagers as they would get to see the creatures that their people and ancestors have worshipped and prayed to for many years.
In the midst of the victory celebration and after the damages done by the Black Dragons was repaired and cleared away, Ming Wu met up with her friends for a dinner outing to not only celebrate the official end of Dai Shi and the threat involving him but also Sarah and her family and friends' victory. Everyone was having the time of their lives as they all drank and ate away at a glorious buffet cooked up by the entire village as a reward of gratitude for saving the world and the town from Dai Shi's ultimate lackeys.
"I want to thank you for getting rid of the Black Dragons and saving us all. Dinner's on me and the entire village, guys," Ming Wu said kindly as she and Tucker sat on the table housing Sarah, her human family, her friends, Race, and Jungle Fury Rangers.
"In that case, I'll have another order of dumplings!"
"Two, please!" Ash and Sophocles called.
"Yeah, I'm hungry after that big fight!"
"Let's get another round of food up here!" Pikachu and Togedemaru concurred happily as they and the rest of the Pokemon, mythicals, and dragons stuffed their faces.
"No problem!" smiled Ming Wu before she looked at Sarah and Race, frowning. "Listen, I'm sorry you guys and your family got zapped into the game and ended up being stuck in Cyberspace, Sarah, Race."
"Actually, it wasn't really that bad, Ming Wu."
"Yeah, we had a lot of fun going through the game like that even though Jin and Teng tried to kill us at every turn whenever they found us," the young couple reassured.
"Really?" Ming Wu blinked in surprise.
"Getting to see something inspired by Breath of the Wild from Legend of Zelda and Japanese anime and tokusatsu was kinda fun," smiled Nikki.
"And, we've made some new friends along the way that helped us get home safely," Tsukumaro added, rubbing Phoe-Phoe as he fed her. "More importantly, the game you made was exceptional and will garner much praise from your critics, even with those pesky bugs Jin and Teng infiltrated into it."
"You've done a great job designing all of the levels and incorporating every creature and new Pokemon we saw into them," agreed James supportingly.
Ming Wu smiled again but in appreciation, "Thanks, James."
"But, next time, go easy on the monsters or at least give us a better warning about them next time so we don't die without warning," Star pleaded, earning everyone's laughter before Ming Wu pulled out her laptop and typed away.
"Hey, Sarah, Race, I've managed to pull up the video game on my laptop and I got you two and RJ to thank for that along with getting rid of the bugs Jin and Teng made with their hacking. I'll put in a copy for you as thanks since I'll be able to present it to everyone without any further interruption. You guys want to have another go before we restart the presentation tomorrow?"
"What do you say, Island Girl?" Race asked with a knowing smile.
"Well, since Jin and Teng and their brothers are gone and we won't hear from them ever again, you read my mind. One more run and it's over," nodded the princess before they joined Ming Wu.
"What, you want to have another run at Mythical Adventure?"
"Haven't you had enough computer fun for one day?" chuckled Jarrod and Casey as they went to play the game, only to get a surprise once they pulled up the game.
"Hey! What do you know?" gasped Race before he chuckled warmly at what he and Sarah are seeing.
"Guys, look what we have here," smiled Sarah, the group coming in to see the entire Cyber Gang waving happily to them along with Gallus and his flock on Level 9 and Chance and his herd back on Level 4 greeting them as well, causing everyone to smile back and wave to them knowing that an imminent reunion between them will be in the foreseeable future.
The presentation of Ming Wu's game, as intended, went off without a hitch the following day and by the end of it, there was a rousing reception for it for the Pai Zhuq scientist and her team. With her game being proved as a success and with the promise of more content to come for it in the coming future, Ming Wu, in gratitude for saving everyone and her game from the Black Dragons, produced a copy of Mythical Adventure and gave it to Sarah. It also doubled as a portal after taking into account how Jin and Teng were able to transport her and her family into the game, allowing them the chance to see the Cyber Gang and all their Cyberspace friends again should they ever so choose.
All too soon, after spending another day in Claw Town and getting some more souvenirs for the new Pokemon and mythicals, new supplies, doing more practice with magic spells, and more, it was time for the heroes to part ways with the villagers and the Jungle Fury Rangers to continue their journey to find Sarah's real parents. After saying their goodbyes, they went on their way after their eventual stay that'll stay fresh in their minds forever.
As Sarah and her family and friends all left to continue their journey, they thought back to everything they went through upon reaching Claw Town, meeting their predecessor rangers and their masters along with the mythicals from the old temple housing the Twilight Gem, their Cyberspace escapades, and so on. They can all agree that they had a swinging good time even though Dai Shi's warriors tried to sully things for the sake of reviving him (an endeavor that they've thankfully avoided with some help from their new friends from Cyberspace and the real world) and it was a time that they'll never forget. But, even so, there are still more adventures just waiting to be unraveled as their journey to find King Doug and Queen Delilah continues.
"There are many paths throughout many worlds one must take to discover what wonders are beyond the horizon and after a wild hit-and-run adventure in Cyberspace, Sarah and her family get to see what it's like despite running into danger at every step of the way. What lies beyond that path now that Dai Shi's warriors are finally finished and the world is safe from his tyranny once again is unknown as our heroes continue on their journey to find the princess' real parents. One thing's for sure, they'll never forget that incredible town and their adventures with the Power Rangers Jungle Fury again!"
