Stargate Gilgamesh by Goth Guru

Dr. Jonathan Westin enters the seemingly empty stone chamber. A column of gray smoke appears against the far wall, and then forms into a man wearing thick robes and a golden mask. He asks, "Are you Gilgamesh? Is this your tomb?"

Gilgamesh booms, "It was my tomb for thousands of years. Saint Germane freed me and I rewarded him with immortality. While I was imprisoned I learned telepathy, and I reached out. I taught alchemy, secular humanism, and science. Your thesis on the biology of gods was inspired."

The scientist responds, "I'm flattered. You of all beings must know, how much was I right?"

"Several of your theories are right. The Gaoold are symbiotic snakes that live in mortals. Their power is biological. They passed themselves off as Egyptian Gods. Under their domination I found the secrets of that power. They killed my friend and coworker while trying to control me. They could not kill or control me because of my power.

The ancients draw on a common ethical power source and they have a cold war going on with me. They prevent the common folk from finding out too much and too fast.

They only let me teach those ready to learn. Saint Germane joined them, which does not bother me.

Now the Ori who tap into a brutal, domineering power source are intruding on our galaxy. They are the source of some stories of evil.

The wraith are life force vampires and they are on their way. Because of the Ori and the Wraith the Ancients are granting me more leeway.

Sorcerers such as I connect to the binding forces of the universe. They are neither good nor evil. I am now a living node of the binding forces."

"Before I commit to you, I should tell you something. A secret branch of the Air Force has contacted me. Is that a problem?"

"Not a problem. Our agendas are perfectly aligned. That's why I'm putting you on the fast track. I will start with the formula to make you immune to all unwelcome mental influence."

Threads of translucent energy stream from the mask's eyeholes and into Weston's eyes.

"I understand. A brain chemical that bolsters the will! I'll try to not misuse it."

Gilgamesh. "I look forward to hearing how it affects a Gaoold. Ironically, the treatment will allow you to contact me from anywhere."

The gray smoke reappears and Gilgamesh vanishes into it.
