Sorry for the wait. We just had a massive heat wave here in India that broke a few weeks ago, and I'm starting to lose interest and ideas for this story.

A whirlwind of pain is what I woke up to when I opened my eyes.

"The package is secure and we're on our way," I heard someone murmured ahead of me. My eyes fluttered open as my protective plate of my helmet adjusted to the area's light around me. "This was easier than expected," the same voice from before spoke up.

I snapped open my eyes and looked around. I quickly spotted the women who drugged me before. I let out a growl as I tapped into my biotics, but the sound in my throat died when I found out that I couldn't activate my abilities. One of the guards who sat next to me in the car snapped his head towards me in surprise. "Oh shit the tranquillizer wore out faster than we thought," he said his voice distorted by his featureless black mask.

"Hit him with another dose," a man from the front ordered.

The guard next to me shuffled as he tried to reach for a syringed, "Yes Agent Leng," he said with a grumble.

"Hurry up!" the woman from before said as I slowly felt my biotics coming back to me and in response my body began to glow, "If it regains full control we're finished."

I let out another growl, "I'm not an it!" I took a deep breath, "I. AM. QUARIAN!" With a battle roar I unleashed all of my biotic power and snapped my head towards the guard next to me that was armed with a syringe. The next moment I biotically elbowed the guard out the side of the car. The force of the push ripped most of the car off but it was still able to keep flying, barely.

"Were should we start looking?" Garrus asked as he, Shepard, Wrex, Mia, and Tali flew in the Presidium in a sky car. They were heading towards the location of the transmission that Jay sent while the rest of the ground team were at C-Sec helping them track every ship that was leaving the area around Presidium docks. If whoever attacked Jay slipped through their fingers then who knows how long it would take to recover him.

'No, I can't lose him,' Tali said as her grip on her shotgun tightens, "We'll get him back," Mia's voice soothed that part of Tali's mind. The wilder side…the animal side.

"I don't know," Shepard said as she dodged another car, "If only there was a sign."

Just then body hit the front of the sky car and bounced off. Shepard and Wrex leaned forward and saw that the car above them on their left was missing its side. "That'll do," Shepard said as she pushed the car up. "Shit!" the Specter hissed as the half-a-car sped up.

"We need to stop that car!" Garrus said as Shepard called C-Sec and told them what was going on.

Wrex rolled his blood red eyes, "No shit Turian," he grumbled his shot was pulled out of its holster, "Shepard get ahead of that car I'll stop it."

This time Garrus rolled his eyes, "How are you going to do that? It took you nearly ten minutes to get you in this car…" the ex-detective trailed of as the Krogan battlemaster used his inhuman strength to rip the door and top half of the car off.

The side of my head snapped down as the guard next to me smacked the back of my head. I felt myself being pushed into the seat as the sky car wobbled to the side. "Damn it," I heard the man that they called Leng cursed. "We're going to have to land," he said as the car descended.

I slammed my head back into the guard's head. I heard a grunt of pain before I was pinned deeper into the seat. "I need another sedative I can't keep hold this thing much longer!" the guard holding me said as I kept thrashing around trying to find a point of weakness so I can break free.

The sky car tilted forward as something heavy landed on the hood. During this the guard holding me broke his hold on me and I had just enough time to look up to see Wrex on the hood a shotgun in his hand. In his deep baritone voice his said, "Surprise motherfucker!"

I looked at the guard in front of me and gathered biotic energy around my foot and kicked the man out the other end of the car. I quickly threw up a barrier up just as Wrex opened fired tearing the seats up. I grabbed a hold of what's left of the car's roof and pulled myself up. My eyes widen as I saw that we were headed towards the ground at extremely high speeds. "Wrex!" I yelled as I pointed at the ground.

The Krogan looked behind him before he fired on last time into car before jumped off. I followed Wrex's idea and jumped out of the car. Now that I had escaped I need to figure out how I am going to land without becoming one with the ground. I took a deep breath and let the Element Zero in my system gather around me until my body glowed blue. That was when I met the ground. With a resounding boom my world became blue and shook, but not just from the landing but also the energy that it took for that much biotic power.

I fought through the haze of exhaustion as I watch two people jump out of the sky car and landed not too far from me. The ground shook again as the sky car crashed and I barely kept myself stable from the shock wave.

With a groan I stood up and readied my biotics just as my vision began to clear. Wrex moved to my side as he punched his fist together and glowed blue as he readied up as well.

But nothing happened instead I heard a sky car land behind us. I turned around was immediately was tackled to the ground. As my mind was still hostile from my napping I began thrashing around. My fist glowed blue and I was about to smashed my attacker's skull in when he sniffled. I paused and let my biotics die down when I realized that my attacker was hugging and she was crying. Looking down I saw that a familiar purple cloth hood rested on my shoulder.

"Tali," I said softly wrapping my arms on her head and held her close.

"You fucking moron!" I looked just in time to a fist hitting my visor. My head exploded with pain as I grabbed my face plate and let out a hiss. A growl came from Tali as Shepard cracked her fist. Shepard simple grabbed Tali and tossed to Mom, who held the raging Quarian in her arms. I was suddenly hoisted into the air and chest was compressed into tight embrace. "Don't you ever do that again," Shepard murmured as the tense feeling that I didn't know I had melted away.

"You're all that I have left of my sister," Shepard said as she stroked my hood.

"And never forget no matter what people say…"

"…you will always be a Shepard."
