"Holy Crap! That's a Pegasus!" Marisa practically leaped over the Blue Lions so she could put her hands all over the winged horse. The horse itself was surprisingly friendly and was more than willing to submit to her patting once she had given it an apple.

"Do you not have Pegasi where you're from?" Ingrid asked.

"Nope!" Marisa replied, her eyes alight with excitement. "You know I didn't know these things existed till a couple of months ago? All those stories about Fodlan and Lys decides not to tell me about this until she's about to leave for Academy."

The Ordinary Magician watched as Ingrid walked over and put a saddle on the mount. "Are you seriously going to ride a Pegasus?"

"Yes," Ingrid replied.

"Could I ride?"

"Pegasi are very picky about their riders. It wouldn't be safe for you to try without proper training."

"Pretty please?"

"No."

"Aw."

Sylvain walked up to Marisa with a wide smile on his face. "You're welcome to ride with me if you like. It's no Pegasus but my horse is a pretty good ride."

"Nah it's fine, got my own ride in that case," Marisa replied.

"Then maybe we could get to know each other over a cup of t- Ow!" Sylvian was interrupted by the elbow of the Pegasus Rider that Marisa had meant before.

"Ignore him. He'll flirt with anything with a pulse," the Rider replied.

"Hey! I take offense to that!" Sylvain's objected

"Sure I could go for some tea," Marisa replied. "And maybe some lunch as long as you're paying"

"Really!?- I mean sure, that sounds great," Sylvain replied before making a fist in triumph.

"You don't have to humor him you know?" Ingrid whispered to her once they were out earshot of the flirt

"Nah, it's fine. I'll give him a chance." Marisa leaned in and began to whisper into Ingrid's ear. "Besides I might as well mooch a couple of meals off him."

"Normally I wouldn't approve of something like that… but it's Sylvain. Go for it," Ingrid replied

Like a well-oiled machine, the Blue Lions were quick to gear up for their little outing. Soon they were all staring at Marisa in expectation.

"Is that it?" Felix asked.

"Is what it?" Marisa asked.

He gestured toward her well, everything. "No weapons, no mount, just the clothes off your back?"

"Trust me I'm well prepared." Marisa began to lift up the bottom of her skirt to show the several small glass vials and strips of paper attached to her thigh. She received some very mixed and interesting reactions.

Dimitri could only stare with wide eyes, Dedue just looked at her with an expressionless face, Felix had begun to blush and look away, Sylvain would've stared and whistled if Ingrid hadn't elbowed him in the stomach, and finally Mercedes was busy covering Annette's and Ashe's eyes with her hands.

"Marisa!?" Dimitri looked away. "You shouldn't expose yourself like that."

Marisa rolled her eyes and put down her skirt. "It's not like I'm showing you my underwear. Bloomers by the way, not even much to see."

"That's…. a bit too much information," Dimitri stammered.

"Just saying, it's perfectly fine to look up once I'm above you guys."

"Wait, what do you mean by above?" Ashe asked as Mercedes finally took her hands off his eyes.

Marisa reached into her sleeve, pulled out her broom, and let go of it so that it could float in the air. She then sat on it and began floating in the air in front of them.

"What, haven't you seen a Witch and her broom before?" Marisa asked as she looked at the shocked and fascinated expressions of the Blue Lions below her.

They all shook their heads.

"Huh. Well then you guys are in for a surprise once the fighting starts."

The bandits of course began firing at her as soon as she flew by, some with spells others with arrows, but Marisa quickly tracked each projectile and deftly evaded them. She zipped by them, barely out of arm's reach, and pulled out a glass bottle from her skirt that she casually dropped in the center of their formation. "Gift for ya."

The bottle and its contents exploded, blasting everyone nearby and knocking down those a bit a further away. While they were disoriented Marisa made a quick reversal and began showering them with star shaped projectiles.

Unlike her normal Danmaku though, these burned on impact, tearing away chunks of flesh and sending those hit writhing on the ground. That was of course assuming that they were immediately killed by taking a super concentrated projectile of heat, light, and magic to the face.

"Marisa!" Ingrid shouted as she joined the Ordinary Magician in the air. "What was that!?"

"I mean the plan was to strike at the best opportunity once we baited them and you needed a distraction to get away anyway," Marisa replied.

"But you just went ahead before the rest of the class could even get in range. You could've been shot down! A single arrow is all it can take to bring down a flyer!"

"Then don't get hit," Marisa shrugged. "Where I'm from there's a couple things that people are great at. Discerning patterns, reading flight paths, and avoiding projectiles. Besides-," she pointed down to the battlefield. Bandits are split and panicking. They can't decide whether they should be worried about me or the people stabbing them in the face right now."

Ingrid groaned. "You're worse than Felix."

"He's doing pretty good actually," Marisa commented as she casually rained down star-shaped projectile hell at the bandits below her. The man was certainly no Youmu, but he was cutting down and weaving through the bandits with some skill and a good amount of ferocity. Give him a couple of years, throw him into the middle of some Danmaku, and he might turn out to be a good fight.

"Besides-" Marisa pointed at a clustered group of archers below. "If you're so worried about archers then I can take them out right now."

Ingrid let out a long, weary, resigned sigh. An indication that she was probably used to stuff like this. "Just… don't do anything crazy."

"No promises!" Marisa shouted as she zipped ahead and flew straight for the Archers. They barely had time to react to her presence before she used her broom like a battering ram and ran them over. She landed in their center, pointed her arms to each side and began blasting them with fire, heat, and stars point blank. By the time the rest of the bandits realized what was happening and ran toward her, she had already got on her broom and flew back into the sky.

To be honest this was all just so incredibly easy, these bandits weren't even worth her touching her Hakkero; they were barely putting as much as a bunch of wild fairies would. As for the Blue Lions, well they were inexperienced, but they did have potential. They just needed a lot more work before they were anywhere on her or Lysithea's level.

"Retreat! Fall back to the camp, we'll hold them there!" one of the bandit's, their leader apparently, shouted.

They had already lost almost half their numbers and the battle was essentially lost. Even if they did hunker down all that would do was delay the inevitable.

Then again, Marisa was looking forward to meeting up with Lys again.

The Ordinary Magician shot forward once again, much to Ingrid's chagrin, and flew above the bandits until she reached the hill that their base was. With a flourish of her hat, she took out her Hakkero and pointed it straight at the small land mass.

"Love Sign:" She activated the mystical furnace and energy began to gather in its end. Pure power gathered there until it finally reached its apex. Until it finally had to be released. "Master Spark!"

A raging roaring beam of pure energy and flame shot out of the furnace disintegrating almost everything in its path. The tents, the fortifications, what unlucky few bandits that had been in the camp, all of that was consumed. And then it all exploded.

By the time the smoke faded there was no base and there was now a giant hole carved out into the hill. Marisa blew away the smoke that came out of her Hakkero before banking down toward the remaining bandits who were now scattered, baseless, and leaderless. They stared at her stunned as she landed in front of the smoking crater and addressed them all.

"So. You guys up for round two?"

They all immediately dropped their weapons and surrendered.

"Yea, figured."

Marisa from her broom could see the Garreg Mach Monastery long before the Blue Lions could. It was easy to recognize, considering how much the people below had been telling her about it during the journey.

They were an interesting lot, those Blue Lions. Turns out that most of them were nobles and they were a bit stuffy, but it was a good kind of stuffy. Sorta like Akyu, it was the kind of stuffy that came to them naturally while trying to be polite and formal rather than trying to act like they were better than you or anything.

She banked down on her broom and rejoined the group. The Caravan the Blue Lions traveled in had plenty of room for her, whether in the wagon or by horse, but Marisa just preferred to fly. "You weren't kidding. That Monastery is huge, could see it from over here."

"There's an entire town built around it too Miss Kirisame," Hanneman informed her. "Before we arrive, might I ask you a question?"

"Go for it."

"Miss Kirisame your mastery over magic is incredible, beyond any single mage I've seen. Why that Master Spark of yours is strong enough to compete with the firepower of an entire battalion of skilled mages. You wouldn't happen to know what a Crest is or happen to possess one?"

"Why don't you tell me about them," Marisa replied. It was about time she learned about what they were. Lysithea was always so tightlipped about the ones that she had.

"In simple terms Crests are tokens of the Goddess's power granted to the people of Fodlan, or so they say."

"Granted by a Goddess…" Well with Lys it wouldn't be a surprise. She preferred to be praised for her hard work. To have it all written off as some divine boon… well Marisa could understand why she preferred to keep them hidden when she could.

"I'd assume that you don't have a Crest?" Hanneman asked.

"Nah. Just an ordinary human. Part of the title."

"Still that magic of yours and you are from a foreign land. Would you mind if I took a blood sample?" Hanneman requested.

"Sure, I guess, but I really am just an ordinary human. Dunno how my blood will help."

"You say you're ordinary but that's some incredible magic you have," Annette popped her head out and looked at Marisa in excitement. "Did you and Lysithea learn from the same Sensei?"

"Nah. Lys is the only student Patchy's got. Me. I'm self-taught… mostly." Apart for the first two years after she had run away from home. There was someone that did teach her at one point.

"You learned that magic by yourself? What type is it?"

Marisa smiled. "Love Magic."

Annette blinked in confusion. "Love?"

"Yep. All my love, all my passion. I put it all into my magic."

"So… you work really hard?"

"Well I do, but I also mean it literally. Sympathetic magic can draw on the caster's emotions for strength, but when you're starting you have to be careful because it's easy to lose control of it. You also have to make sure you're in the right mood and state of mind for it to work well.

"So you literally are putting your love into your magic?" Felix asked as he moved his horse next to Marisa.

"Yep. Love and Star Magic. Those are my signatures," Marisa replied.

"Wow. That's really different from the Wuxing that Lysithea does," Annette commented. "There must be so many types of magic where you're from."

"Actually, not really," Marisa admitted. "Where I'm from there aren't a lot of magic-users at all. Most of the people that do learn it get from places outside. In fact I count 5 maybe 6 proper magicians in the entirety of Gensokyo if I count Byakuren. Lys is of course one of them"

Annette looked at her with wide eyes. "That's so few. There are no academies for your mages then?"

"Nope. And we all have magic that's really different from each other's. Apart from Lys and Patchy, her Sensei, we have to learn most of our magic on our own. Conduct our own research, acquire the proper books that other magicians and magic users work that relate to our fields, and occasionally exchange notes with one another. Even Lys has her own personal magic that's different from her Sensei's."

"Wait. What sort of magic can she use apart from the Wuxing?" Annette asked. "I know she's also been studying Fodlan magic too"

"Hexes, curses, the void, real proper dark magic. She's a complete natural at the stuff, but she doesn't use it because she'd rather copy her Sensei." Though Marisa could understand the desire to choose magic over preference rather than natural affinity.

"So in the end, your magic is the strength you've gained through your hands alone?" Felix asked.

"Yea. Kinda. The thing about magic is that it is constantly developing and progressing. A magician is encouraged and should draw from those before them, and only after learning that source can they develop and add their own originality to it. The magician gives form to magic, and the magician is formed by magic," Marisa explained.

Felix nodded. "I understand. It's much the same with sword techniques you learn out of practice. Once you've mastered the basic form then you can start applying it to real battle and adjust it accordingly. Still though," Felix looked at her with approval. "I'm impressed. You chose the path of a mage without having a society that would influence you towards it or anyone dictating it for you I'd imagine."

"If anything, the people at the village are scared of me for this magic. So yea definitely no influences there."

"Village? So you're from a small area?" Hanneman asked.

"Smallish. It's a pretty big village. Where I'm from though there's a lot of cool people that live outside of it. Youkai and humans."

"Youkai?" Hanneman asked.

"It's the term we have for non-humans, magical creatures, stuff like that."

"So monsters?" Felix asked.

"Yea some monsters too."

"Sounds dangerous?" Annette asked.

"Eh. Not really. There are rules in place and almost everyone follows them."

"Including the Monsters?" Annette asked.

"Yea the smart ones at least," Marisa replied. "Some monsters and animals can become full-fledged Youkai. Once they do they become intelligent, some smarter than others, and sentient." She decided not to go into too much detail about the method for the time being.

"I didn't think it was possible for monsters or animals to evolve to that point," Hanneman commented. "At least it's not a common occurrence or one that's been recorded."

"Gensokyo just has the land and environment for it. I wouldn't be surprised if Youkai were rare or nonexistent here."

"What about the dumb ones then if they choose to break the rules?" Felix asked. "Or the smart ones that break them anyway?"

Marisa shrugged. "Hopefully they end up like those bandits if they're lucky. At that point they're free game for anyone that wants to do anything to them. Human or Youkai."

"Seems kind of-"

"Harsh? Yea. It's how we get people to follow the rules. If they can't do that they shouldn't and don't deserve to stick around. And it's not like you guys felt particularly bad about those bandits back there either."

"Those bandits willingly hunted down innocents. Killed them and performed other unspeakable acts on the helpless. It's good that they're all dead," Dimitri arrived and replied with sudden rancor in his voice, before quickly composing himself once more. "Justice needs to be dealt with a heavy hand at times."

Marisa shrugged. "For us it's not so much justice as it is desperation. For many people Gensokyo's a last bastion, a home that people want and need to be there. They'll do anything to protect it and keep the balance."

"Sounds like you've all created a very close knit community there," Dimitri commented.

"In a way. Still doesn't stop us from picking fights all the time," Marisa admitted. "But it's fun… and honestly it's pretty much how we say hello at this point."

"I'm starting to see where Lysithea got it then," Ashe commented.

Marisa chuckled. "Lemme guess. Lys picked a fight with you?"

"In a Mock Battle."

"Anybody or anything she try to burn outside an organized battle?" Marisa asked.

"Well, yes, but I don't think it's in my right to say," Ashe replied.

"Ah, that's fine, it's just Lys. Back home we all loved to tease her. Made her a good fight."

"Well that certainly explains why she's so powerful than."

"Eh, she works hard."

"Seems like you all the brats came back in one piece," Jeralt was the first to greet the Golden Deer as they stepped through the gate and returned to the main Hall of the Monastery.

It was her first time personally seeing the man… and honestly she had a hard time seeing the resemblance between him and her Professor. Maybe the resemblance was more skewed toward the maternal side? Who was the Professor's mother anyway?

"There was an unexpected development," Byleth replied.

Jeralt's expression became serious. "What happened?"

"Youkai Beasts."

It took a bit of time for the Professor to explain what had happened to his father, along with Lysithea's own input and the input her classmates had about the situation.

"Best to report this to the Archbishop then. I'll work with Seteth to see if there are any more sightings of these Beasts," Jeralt replied to his son before looking at Lysithea. "Compared to demonic beasts, how bad are these Youkai?"

"It depends on the number and type," Lysithea replied. "So far we've only seen one… and it could be a freak occurrence. I theorize that the environment in certain places of Fodlan could occasionally, but rarely, be just right to allow for their creation."

"And outside of Fodlan?"

"There is one land. Gensokyo is practically perfect for breeding Youkai, but we don't get any Demonic Beasts there. In the end, any land has its own set of issues they have to deal with."

"Well, we'll just keep an eye for them. If more do pop up, you're probably our best source of information on them."

Lysithea nodded. "Understood."

By the time they were just about finished, Lysithea started hearing a commotion behind her. She and the rest of her class turned to find that the Blue Lions had also arrived.

The Blue Lions class looked mostly intact and in a good mood after returning for their mission. Good for them. She might not necessarily associate with most of them, apart from Annette, but she could still appreciate that her fellow students had returned safely. It just didn't really have much to do with her, so she was fully prepared to simply join the Golden Deer in greeting them and then just heading on her way when she saw the hat. The large pointed comically oversized black hat with a white ribbon tied to it.

It couldn't be. There was no way.

The girl wearing the black hat, black outfit, and white apron turned around. Her eyes immediately lit up in recognition. "Yo Lys! You're here!"

Apparently, there was a way.

"Marisa!?" Lysithea shouted, absolutely flabbergasted. Her voice was loud enough to catch the attention of everyone who had gathered there, or at least anyone who hadn't already been watching due to Marisa's screaming. "What are you doing here?"

"Ah c'mon is that how you greet your Senpai?" Marisa replied as she ran up and hugged her.

Lysithea was forced to endure the embrace, not enjoying it all. "That doesn't answer my answer," she grumbled as Marisa's embrace became tighter.

"To be honest I'm not entirely sure myself," Marisa admitted as she finally let go. "I was just investigating something weird and then boom. Portal drags me in and pops me in Fodlan."

It sounded completely unbelievable, but this was coming from Marisa. If she wasn't obviously lying then it had to be true. "A random portal in the middle of Gensokyo. Was she involved?"

"Don't know honestly. Could be another incident."

"Shouldn't you be back home then?"

"Reimu and the others can handle this one, besides aren't you happy to see me Lys?"

Lysithea crossed her arms and looked away, though everyone noted that she didn't deny it.

"I missed you too," Marisa replied. It would've been sweet, had she not continued to speak. "Been with you since you were just a tiny brat wanting to ride my broom everywhere. You're still tiny too. Worried you'd grow up on me while I was gone."

"Would you stop calling me little!?" Anybody who was even remotely aware of who Lysithea was began to look for the nearest escape route as soon as the word tiny or little was said. "And you're the shorty here! You're three years older than I am!"

"Four actually. I just turned nineteen."

"Wait, you're nineteen?" Annette asked, shocked. "No offense but you're barely taller than I am."

"I know, I'm a shortie too," Marisa replied casually. "I just own it."

"You could learn something from your Senpai here," Claude commented. "What does that word mean by the way?"

"Basically, it means I'm her Senior," Marisa explained.

This was bad, no terrible, no literally the worst thing that could happen in either world. Claude and Marisa!? It was just a disaster in the making. Mostly for Lysithea.

"You know what, I'm taking you back. Let's go." Lysithea grabbed Marisa and attempted to drag her away.

"You're going to take her back to her home?" Claude asked. "Isn't that going to take too long, I mean you have classes, don't you?"

"He's right," Marisa stopped letting herself be pulled away and actually looked serious for once. "I know you have a way back, but I don't want you to miss classes and get in trouble because of that. Besides now that I know I have a way back I'm not in a rush to leave. Who knows I might actually stick around a bit. First time in Fodlan, seems interesting, and didn't you promise me something?"

Lysithea had promised Marisa something and unfortunately, she wasn't a liar. "I don't have a lot of time to show you around Fodlan right now. I'm a student… and you're right that I do have obligations. But there's still at least ten months in the school year, what are you going to do that entire time?"

"For the time being, she should be reporting to us," Seteth commanded as he arrived in the hall and stared at Marisa. "There is much we need to speak of."

Lysithea sat in Seteth's office a bit nervous, mostly because of how casually Marisa was speaking to the man. She had been dragged into this meeting, along with Dimitri and Hanneman, because she knew Marisa personally. It didn't make it any less awkward.

"Aaand that's the story of how I got here," Marisa finally finished her story. Both Dimitri and Hanneman would confirm what they could.

By the end of it Seteth was looking thoughtful though he still eyed Marisa with suspicion. "That is quite the unlikely story. But at the very least we can confirm that you are from a foreign land, correct?"

"I can confirm it," Lysithea replied. "Marisa and I have known each other for a long time."

"And you visited this foreign land?"

Lysithea nodded. "It's a long journey from Ordelian territory so I often stay there for extended periods of time. It's also where my Sensei resides, the one who taught me my magic."

"This does seem to match up with what you've told us so far," Seteth agreed. "Though we don't receive many visitors from other lands, we will not forsake them either. So long as they agree and keep to the teachings of the Goddess."

"Eh. I've dealt with religion before. I can learn and keep to the rules," Marisa replied.

"See to it that you do while you remain here."

"Will do!"

Someone knocked on Seteth's door. "Brother! Is it true that the Professor and his class have returned well and healthy from their mission!"

"Yes Flayn," Seteth called out from behind the door. "Could you come back in a moment. I will be finished with this meeting soon."

"I'd say we're already done," Marisa commented.

"Who is that?" Flayn asked. "I do not believe I recognize that voice."

"Flayn." Seteth's stern face now replaced with his concerned overprotective brother face. "This isn't the best time."

"Oh, come on brother. It wouldn't hurt to greet a new arrival to the Monastery."

"My apologies Seteth," Hanneman interjected. "But I do believe we were just about finished with this meeting when your sister arrived. It would be rude to send her away now."

Seteth let out a long weary sigh before walking up to the door and opening it. A petite young girl with hair of a similar color to Seteth entered the room. "Oh and the Blue Lions have returned too! Most wonderful, we should celebrate this occasion."

"Would be nice to get some grub," Marisa commented.

"And you!" Flayn ran up to Marisa with her eyes lit up in fascination. "Such brilliant gold eyes and blonde hair. And that is quite the dashing outfit you have there."

"This?" Marisa gestured to her ensemble. "Well this is the outfit of a Witch."

Lysithea rolled her eyes as the human Magician held her hat to her chest and did her signature greeting once more.

"I am Marisa Kirisame. The Great Black White and Ordinary Magician."

"Oh how wonderful," Flayn clapped her hands in delight. "Where from Fodlan are you from? I've never seen anyone with a look like yours."

"Gensokyo. A foreign land, much farther than you could even imagine."

"Truly?"

"Yes."

Flayn was now practically giddy with joy and excitement. "Please, you must tell me stories about this land and your travels over tea. You will, won't you?"

"I'd be happy to be with such a cute lady like you."

"Why, Marisa. You have quite the way with words."

"That's what I've been told."

"Flayn," Seteth decided to interject. "Perhaps you should exercise caution before inviting a stranger you just met for tea."

"But brother-"

"Besides," Seteth now looked at Marisa with a gaze that could only be described as threatening. "I'm sure that Miss Kirisame here is busy with her own matters."

"Not really, don't have much to do until Lysithea graduates," Marisa shrugged. "Probably just going to stick around here for a bit."

Flayn looked at Marisa and then the rest of the students that had gathered before her eyes lit up in epiphany. "Why don't you join the Officer's Academy?"

"What!?" Seteth and Lysithea shouted at the same time.

The idea of Marisa as a student here. It couldn't possibly end well and apparently Seteth was inclined to agree.

"She's around our age brother, and we have foreign students too," Flayn argued.

"The school year has already started, and she hasn't taken the assessments needed to judge if she is suitable for this school," Seteth argued back.

"In that case Marisa would have my backing." Dimitri said. "She is incredibly powerful, with a skill in magic I have never seen apart from Lysithea. Additionally, she has a natural curiosity that would make her a good student at the Academy."

"I am inclined to agree," Hanneman commented. "After speaking with Miss Kirisame I see no issue with allowing her to join the Academy. It could also serve as a way to create ties between her land and ours. Imagine the advances we could make with the magic that they could provide."

"This is not up for debate." It seemed that Seteth was starting to put his foot down. Thank the gods. "And there is little that you can say that would convince me to break generations of longstanding policy within these walls."

"And that's how I ended up here after getting permission from the Archbishop," Marisa exclaimed happily and finished the story she had been telling. She wore a new spiffy new student uniform, though she kept her oversized hat, and stood confidently in front of the class with her arms to her side. "Turns out Flayn is surprisingly good with words and she was friendly with the Professor who was also friendly with Rhea."

"Why are you telling us this? The boar already told us everything that we weren't there for," Felix commented.

"Boar?" Marisa asked.

"Just his… nickname for Dimitri," Ingrid explained.

"Ah ok. As for your question, well I just wanted to practice telling this story to an audience," Marisa admitted.

"Did you have to do this during class?" Mercedes asked.

"I mean I figured I'd do something for the introduction since we've already met and all."

"Why did you join us anyway and not stick around with Lysithea?" Ashe asked.

Marisa looked thoughtful for once. "Golden Deer definitely has some interesting characters, but Lys already has dibs and I don't wanna intrude on what she's got here. Gotta give her some space if she's going to grow. No offense to you guys of course, you guys are pretty cool. Right Sylvain?" She pointed at the red head who smiled at the attention. "Lunch and tea after this right?"

"Yep!" Sylvain replied happily.

"Well, the Blue Lions are glad to have a magician of your caliber," Dimitri replied. "Just… try not to set the classroom on fire."

"Lys warned you about me, didn't she?"

"Extensively. I have also been told to tell you to not steal any of the students or faculties belongings at threat of expulsion."

"That's fine. I'm not stealing-"

"Borrowing without permission counts too."

"Phooey."

"Ahem," Hanneman addressed the class. "Now that introductions have been made, we can now start class. Please take a seat Miss Kirisame."

"Got it Hann's," Marisa replied casually before sitting down on the nearest empty seat and putting her legs on the desk.

"Kirisame, perhaps you could lower your legs? It's indecent," Hannman had the good judgment to look away.

"Not going to see much with a skirt this long."

"Please. Marisa."

"Fine," Marisa conceded before putting her legs down. Even if they could see anything all they would find was a pair of western style bloomers.

Hanneman cleared his throat. "Now to begin this lecture I believe it's time we learned more of the Demonic Beasts that beset Fodlan."

Marisa perked up, immediately interested, before reaching into her hat and taking out a notebook and quill.

"How do you keep things in that?" Felix asked.

"Magician's trade secret."

"Of course, it is."
