Mike didn't really pay attention to the trial, more focused on pulling himself together after his latest emotional breakdown. From what little he did catch, he was glad Dipper and Mabel were finally talking things out and making up after their fight. Of course, the moment the twins made up is when everything started going nuts. The fantasy world was revealed to be the nightmare prison they all suspected and they had to flee as all the monsters converged upon them. They managed to escape on a giant Waddles as Mabel used a knitting needle to burst through the bubble wall, exploding the fake world into a pile of confetti.

The moment they were out of the bubble, Mike felt whatever was keeping Molten Freddy dormant vanish and the animatronic was angry. Mike felt control of his body get yanked completely from him, making his vision go dark. But Mike was more prepared this time around though and managed to fight back, getting enough partial control that he could see again. The first thing he saw was the claws out on his animatronic arm and moving towards the unsuspecting Dipper in front of him.

Mike immediately threw himself to the side, making the claws miss by a hair. Mike managed to scramble a few feet away before he fell to the ground and curled into a ball, his limbs randomly jerking and twitching as the two minds within fought for control.

"What's wrong with Mike?" Mabel asked in worry as soon as she and the others noticed what was going on.

"Dipper… please…" Mike begged, his voice having a staticky echo as he struggled to get the words out while he fought the AI parasite attached to his mind and soul.

"We'll explain in a second," Dipper replied in a hurry, pulling out his taser. Dipper attempted to use it on Mike, but Mike's robotic arm lashed out with its claws before Mike could stop it.

"AAAAAHHH!" Dipper cried out in pain as the claws made several deep cuts in his arm and destroyed the taser, forcing him to stumble back.

"N-NO!" Molten Freddy snarled, his voice glitching as he didn't have complete control yet. They could see Mike's robotic eye was completely yellow while the human one was still mostly purple. "T-this is our b-body now."

Molten Freddy tried to strike out with his claws again, but Mike's human arm pinned it down.

"R-run!" Mike struggled to command the others. "I'll hold them b-back as long as I can. GO!"

"We're not just going to leave you," Dipper cried out desperately, before looking at the others. "Do any of you guys have your tasers?"

"Sorry dude," Soos apologized. "But mine got destroyed a while ago."

"I burned mine out zapping a monster," Wendy informed regretfully, pulling out her ax. "We don't have a choice. Soos! Carry the twins, I'll watch our back."

"No! Put me down!" Dipper protested as Soos grabbed him and Mabel. "We can't just give up on Mike!"

"I don't understand," Mabel pleaded in confusion. "What's happening to Mike?"

"Y-you're not going a-anywhere!" Molten Freddy shouted as the others tried to flee. The four wires came out of Mike's back and lunged at the group. Wendy did her best to knock them back, but one snaked by her and managed to trip Soos. The sound of the others crying out as they fell distracted her enough that another wire was able to yank her ax out of her hand and toss it away.

"Y-you're going t-to pay for keeping us c-contained." Molten Freddy said as he stalked forward only to suddenly spasm and drop to his knees. "Y-you might as well stop struggling M-mike. W-we're stronger than you."

"Maybe," Mike growled out, making deep gouges in the ground with his claws as he struggled to keep himself put. "But I'll fight with everything I have to keep you from hurting my family!"

"Come on!" Wendy said, helping Soos to his feet. "We've got to get out of here!"

"No!" Dipper protested, ducking under Wendy's arm and running towards Mike/Molten Freddy. "Come on Mike! I know you can beat that stupid animatronic!"

"N-no!" Mike shouted in fear as Dipper got closer. "Stay back!"

"N-no come closer!" Molten Freddy taunted with a vicious grin. "It'll make it that much easier to kill you!"

"Mike, Fight him!" Dipper encouraged, stopping a few feet away. "I know you won't let him kill me."

"Y-you are so naïve," Molten Freddy cackled, making his wires lunge at Dipper intending to spear him threw. Dipper remained firm and at the last second, the wires changed course, leaving Dipper unscathed as the wires pierced the ground around him.

"A-are you crazy Dipper?" Mike shouted in panic, jerking back at the same time his robotic arm tried to lunge forward. "Get out of here! I can't hold them back forever!"

"I know, but you should be able to hold them back just long enough," Dipper said confidently. "Remember what you did in the car yard?"

"What are you talking about?" Molten Freddy demanded at the same time Mike's human eye widen in realization.

Taser Mode Activated

"What!" Molten Freddy shouted in fear as their hand transformed without their permission. "No! Deactivate! Deactivate! This is our b-body now! You can't do this!"

"It was my body first!" Mike hissed, his human hand slowly pulling the robotic hand towards their chest. "And I will not let you hurt anyone. Ever. AGAIN!"

Both Mike and Molten Freddy screamed in pain as the hand made contact and electricity raced through their systems. The yellow in Mike's eyes faded away along with the electricity and Mike slumped over limp.

"Mike!" The others shouted in worry, all of them rushing over to check on him.

"Are you okay?" Dipper asked as they gently rolled Mike onto his back.

"That… was…way too close…" Mike gasped, still recovering from the painful shock.

"Come on guys," Dipper said as Soos helped Mike to his feet. "Let's see if we can still go hideout in the Shack."

The group limped their way back towards town and through the woods, Mike slowly recovering enough strength to not have to lean on Soos for support. They eventually arrived at the familiar clearing, all of them feeling relieved to see the Shack. They all hurried towards it, forgetting that the barrier was there until Mike smacked into it. It wasn't completely solid to him, more like a thick wall of syrup, but it did stop him and the barrier flickered with his contact with it like it wasn't sure whether or not it needed to keep him out.

"This… can't be a good sign…" Mike admitted in fear as he laid his hands against the barrier.

"Do you think you can push through?" Dipper asked in worry.

"I… think so?" Mike said, experimentally pushing one arm through. "But if it's having this sort of reaction to me… maybe it's better if I just stay-"

"Nope! That's stupid!" Mabel cut in with a huff. "You're our brother Mike, we're not going to let you run off now that we're finally all together again. Come on! You belong in here with us!"

"Okay," Mike nodded, confidence filling him.

He began to push his way through, managing to get his human arm in and most of his chest in pretty easily. The barrier seemed to get thicker though as Mike tried to keep pushing through, making it hard for him to get any progress. The others seemed to guess what was going on and rushed to his aid. Dipper and Mabel grabbed onto his arm while Soos and Wendy grabbed onto them. They all began to pull, slowly getting Mike farther and farther inside.

As Mike was pulled through the barrier, he felt like something was being torn from his very being. He soon realized that the barrier was somehow separating Molten Freddy from the rest of him. With one last tug, the group managed to pull Mike through, all of them collapsing on the grass at the sudden lack of resistance. A ghostly metallic wail immediately brought their attention back to the barrier. They caught a glimpse of a wispy-looking Molten Freddy before it faded away into nothing.

"Was that..?" Dipper asked in shock, staring at where the ghostly image had been.

"…I think so…" Mike nodded, feeling relief as tension seemed to bleed from his body. "I think this means we don't have to worry about them anymore."

Dipper left out a relieved laugh, hugging Mike closely in joy that his brother was safe. The others joined in as well, laughing and crying as they all hugged each other, taking joy that they managed to defeat one major threat and that they were all safe.

After taking a few moments to compose themselves, the group got up from the grass and headed towards the door of the Shack. The door was thrown open before they could even touch it and Stan stood there, looking so relieved to see them.

"I saw you on the cameras," Stan said as he did his best to hug them all. "I had tried to look for you but I couldn't risk leaving the Shack too much in case you came here. I was so worried about you… I'm so glad you're safe and finally back home."

"We're glad to be back too Grunkle Stan," The twins replied and the others nodded in agreement. They just stood like that for a moment, taking comfort in the fact that they were all alive and finally reunited.
