So, I was wanting to get at least one chapter of every family but it looked like there are a few people who are wondering what the drama is between Aiden, Mireya, and Roslyn. I am hoping that this chapter kind of clears things up and that it will be a fun chapter as well (we get to see Dad Riven in full action).

The Birthday Party

"Oh look at you two," Stella beamed as she held Ciaran and Lucia's faces alternatively in her hands, "my babies are just getting all grown up."

Stella began to place kisses on her children's cheeks as the two of them groaned in response.

"Mom," Ciaran spoke through his mother's onslaught of kisses, "we are eighteen years old. You really need to stop doing..." the kissing continued, "Mom, stop!" Ciaran shouted as he slowly pulled his mother away.

This had been a yearly occurrence and every year, the twins grew more and more annoyed at their mother. They were now adults and a barrage of kisses was definitely something that they grew out of. Ciaran was going to be the next King of Solaria and he didn't want the people to remember him as someone who always had faint traces of lipstick on his cheeks from his mother. If it had been someone like Ada who had left the marks, then maybe he would allow it.

"Seriously, mother," Lucia rolled the bright amber colored eyes that she had inherited from Stella, "this is super embarrassing and-"

"You know," Brandon chimed in, "when your mother and I are both dead and in the ground, you both are going to wish that she was still there to give you your birthday kisses."

"Well, you two aren't dead yet." Ciaran replied.

Stella humphed as she walked over to Elio and scooped him up in her arms and began kissing him on the cheek. Elio squealed and giggled as Stella placed kiss after kiss on his cheeks, nose, and forehead.

"Elio still loves his mama's kisses." Stella smiled at her youngest son.

"Cool," Ciaran mumbled, "give him our kisses then."

"I will."

Brandon could sense the tension in the room and assumed his role as the peacemaker of the family.

"Alright," Brandon placed a hand on Lucia's and Ciaran's shoulder, "I know that it is your birthday and your party is tonight, but Ciaran still has training and Lucia still has her studies with Professor Alba. No slacking off in the summer."

Ciaran and Lucia groaned before looking at one another. With one silent look both resigned to the idea of attending their training and studies.

It was certainly better than their mother's birthday kisses.

Finally, night had rolled around and their closest friends and family had come which meant that the members of the Winx and their children had shown up.

Of course, Kenna and Aiden came. They had been close with the twins since the moment they were born. But that was to be expected when both Bloom and Stella and Sky and Brandon had always been so close. Kenna quickly made a beeline towards Lucia and Aiden made his way over to Ciaran. Only a year apart in age, Aiden wished Ciaran a happy birthday and began talking about their training regimens for the summer. That was, until Ada walked in with her parents and Aiden might as well be last week's garbage.

Next to come were Aisha and Nabu with their sons, the princes Malik and Khai. Aiden finally found a new conversation partner in Malik and the two of them began to discuss Aiden visiting Andros soon as Malik had missed windsurfing with him. Well, more like watching Aiden wipeout in the water.

The Scotts arrived next and just as Ciaran abandoned Aiden for Ada, Malik quickly left Aiden's side when Valerie walked in. It was no secret that Malik had the biggest crush on Valerie, whispering promises of one day making her queen. Sure, Malik and Valerie were only eighteen and seventeen respectively, but they might as well start planning now, right? Especially with Malik's investiture coming up in a few years time where he would assume the roles of Crowned Prince.

Aiden once again looked for another conversation partner and found that Khai had been occupied by the Rhiannon. Aiden shrugged and went over to talk to Roslyn and Alfie, the two younger Scott siblings. Roslyn was only fourteen and there wasn't much that a seventeen year old could talk about with a fourteen year old. And Alfie wasn't much better at eleven years old. He saw them more as little siblings but he supposed that they would have to do.

"Hey, Ros," Aiden smiled down at Roslyn, "Alfie." Aiden smiled at Alfie who gave him a smile back of his own.

"Did Ciaran leave you again?" Roslyn smirked as she looked over to the corner of the room where Ciaran was chatting up a fifteen year old Ada.

Aiden rolled his eyes, "How could you tell?"

"Doesn't take a genius to know that they are interested in one another. Ciaran is nothing like Brandon, save for his looks and his ability to talk to members of the opposite sex."

Aiden scoffed, "You got that right."

"And Malik found my sister," Roslyn pointed to Valerie who was seated at a window seat next to Malik giggling and twirling her maroon hair around her finger, "all Valerie talks about how she is going to be Queen of Andros one day and that I should be ready to have to do what she says all the time. Too bad she doesn't know that I am never going to live in Andros."

"Because you are going to live in Eraklyon with me, right?" Aiden gave Roslyn a cheeky wink and she blushed in response. Aiden always liked making the younger members of the family friend group blush and with sweet Roslyn, it was so easy.

"Nah," Alfie chimed in, "Ros says that she is going to be a singer like our mother but she can't even carry a tune. She is like our dad when it comes to singing."

"Shut up, Alfie!" Roslyn snapped her head over to glare at her little brother.

"Sorry, sis," Alfie shrugged, "we all can't have angelic voices like me and mom."

Roslyn rolled her eyes before turning her attention back to Aiden.

"Excuse him," Roslyn crossed her arms over her chest, "you are so fortunate that you don't have to deal with an annoying younger brother."

Aiden laughed, "That is because I am the annoying younger brother. That is if you ask Kenna."

"I don't think that you are annoying." Roslyn timidly said.

"Thanks, Ros. You always know how to cheer me up when I am-"

Aiden's voice caught in his throat when suddenly, Flora, Helia, and their three children walked into the large room of the Solarian palace. Aiden swore that he could feel his heart beat in his throat when he saw who he assumed to be Mireya walk into the room.

It had been ages since they had last seen each other. It had been what? Two years? The Saladins had missed the last Solaria Twin Summer Birthday Bonanza due to Helia's grandfather's funeral. But Aiden had to say that two years did a lot to a person. Well, it had certainly done a lot for Mireya.

She was only sixteen, but all Aiden saw was woman. She was gorgeous and Aiden couldn't tear his eyes away from her. Mireya's curly hair had been piled on top of her head in a large bun and the dress that she wore...Aiden had never felt so much like an older teenage boy in all his life. He had heard about his friends at Red Fountain talk about what they did with their girlfriends and he really wanted to do it to Mireya. She stood there, next to her father and mother, dressed in a skin tight dress that appeared to be leather. But Aiden knew that Flora and Helia would kill her if it were real leather. Aiden was surprised that they didn't kill her for leaving the house in what she was wearing. Everyone knew that due to their peace-loving nature and the fact that Mireya was a witch that Flora and Helia had been a bit more tolerant and liberal compared to the people in Eraklyon. But damn, Aiden didn't think that they were that liberal.

Then again, Mireya's father was the Head Master at his school, Aiden was sure that Helia could kick the ass of anyone who touched his daughter.

So Aiden just looked from afar.

"Aiden?" Roslyn's voice called him back to reality and out of the trance that Mireya had put him under when she walked into the door. "You alright?"

Aiden shook his head and returned his focus back to Roslyn, his eyes glancing back to Mireya who had walked across the room to stand next to Malik and Valerie.

"Yeah," Aiden answered before looking back at Mireya, "can you excuse me for a moment? I need to talk to...Malik."

Roslyn shrugged, "Sure. I'm gonna go talk to Rhiannon since Aflie abandoned me for Antonio and Khai found Irene."

"Sounds good," Aiden smiled, "you let me know if you need anything, alright? You're my number one girl."

Aiden gave Roslyn another wink before leaving her side and making his way over to Valerie, Malik, and Mireya.

He should have his eyes plucked out for the way that they traced over the back of Mireya as he made his way over to the trio. But how could he resist when she looked so good?

"Hey," Aiden nervously greeted as he stood next to Mireya, a little closer than he usually did. And he was doing everything in his power not to reach out and toucher. He had to have some decorum.

"Hi, Aiden. How have you been?" Valerie asked.

"Now you talk to me?" Aiden teased, "After stealing my friend without so much as a 'Hey, Aiden. Nice to see you. Can I steal Malik from you?'"

"It seems like you were doing just fine talking to my sister," Valerie smirked, "and you should stop talking to her like you do. I think she has a crush on you."

"She is fourteen." Aiden rolled his eyes.

"And what about it?" Valerie folded her arms across her chest and tilted her head to the side, "Ada is only fifteen and Ciaran is so far up her ass, it's ridiculous."

Aiden looked over to Ciaran who was whispering in Ada's ear. They were barely three years apart in age and Ada would be sixteen before the year's end. Plus, Ada was always at the palace helping Stella so it was not odd for something to have happened between her and Ciaran. Nobody was surprised which is why nobody said anything.

"Just lay off the flirting with Ros, okay?" Valerie asked, "I don't want to have to kick your ass because you broke my little sister's heart."

"Fine," Aiden gave in, "I'll try to tone it down with the flirting. But I won't be able to help it when Roslyn falls deeply and madly in love with me."

Mireya scoffed, "And what makes you think that is going to happen?"

Aiden turned to look at Mireya and did his best not to drool as he looked into her bright, green eyes, "Come on, Reya, just look at me."

Mireya looked Aiden up and down before meeting his blue eyes once more, "Yeah, I don't see it."

Usually, Aiden would let his friends' taunts roll off his back but when Mireya said it, it felt like someone plunged a knife into his chest. Did she not find him as attractive as he found her? Maybe she preferred tall, dark, and handsome and while Aiden was objectively tall, he was blonde and fair skinned, just like his father. Mireya was mysterious and her looks conveyed a dark sexiness and Aiden just looked so...plain. There was nothing inherently sexy about blone hair and blue eyes, at least not in the magazines that were on the shelves.

Aiden shook his head. How could one remark from Mireya suddenly send his self-esteem plummeting? He was the Prince of Eraklyon and he was constantly pulling girls off of him at Red Fountain. He wouldn't let Mireya's passing insult get to him.

"Maybe you need to look a little harder," Aiden smirked, "you and I could go somewhere else so you can have a better look."

Mireya rolled her eyes, "Fat chance, pretty boy."

She said I was pretty, Aiden thought to himself. So at least she didn't think that he was ugly. But still, pretty? What about sexy man? Ugh, why was he thinking like this? Damn that smooth skin, those green eyes, soft curls, and fuck that tight dress.

Well, two could play at that game.

"So what's the reason for the dress, Saladin? They finally teaching style at Cloud Tower?" Aiden teased.

"Why?" Mireya leaned forward, giving Aiden a very nice view of her chest, "you like it?"

"Not at all."

"Good," Mireya leaned even further and whispered in his ear, "because it would look terrible on you,"

Mireya's hand lingered on Aiden's chest and her mouth hovered over his ear, sending a shiver down his spine.

"Reya," Valerie spoke, causing Mireya to back away from Aiden, much to Aiden's relief, "quit teasing Aiden."

"Just giving him a taste of his own medicine."

Aiden was about to quip back when he was distracted by Ciaran placing a hand on his shoulder, his other hand resting on Ada's hip.

"You all should meet us in the throne room." Ciaran said, "I want to have some fun without the parents and just us older kids. What do you say?"

Valerie looked at Malik and smiled, "We're down."

"Excellent, excellent," Ciaran repled, "What about you two?"

"You know I'm always down for a good time." Mireya winked.

"I knew I could count on you," Ciaran turned his attention to Aiden, "Aiden?"

If Mireya was going to be there, then Aiden surely would be there.

"Gotta make sure that Mireya plays fair."

Aiden could feel the glare coming from Mireya on the side of his face as Ciaran chuckled.

"Alright, meet us in the throne room in five. I am going to talk to Kenna and my sister. Maybe invite Rhiannon. She seems chill."

"What about Khai and Irene?" Valerie asked.

"Eh, too goody two shoes if you ask me."

"Fair point." Valerie shrugged, "We'll meet you in the throne room in five minutes."

'What do you mean that I can't join you in here?"

Valerie and Rhiannon walked into the throne room with Roslyn trailing closely behind, yelling at her older sisters.

"We said fifteen and up, Roslyn." Rhiannon rolled her eyes. "Go hang out with Irene and Khai."

"That is so unfair!" Roslyn stomped her foot down, prompting Ciaran to rush over to the bickering sisters.

"Hey now, what is going on here?" Ciaran asked as he did his best to keep the peace.

"Are you really having a fifteen and up party?" Roslyn asked with a pout.

"Sorry, Ros."Ciaran shrugged, "Just fifteen and up."

"But I don't see Kenna and Lucia here," Roslyn remarked as she looked around the room.

"That's because Kenna and Lucia don't know how to have a good time and they are probably too busy talking about their studies."

Roslyn turned her pout into a glare, "I will be fifteen in the winter."

"Sorry-"

"And you probably said fifteen and up so that you could still invite Ada."

Ciaran's mouth snapped shut. She had him there.

Aiden knew when his friend needed some help so he came over to the sisters and Solarian prince and took his turn in renedying a tense situation.

"Ros is right," Aiden smiled, "she is almost fifteen. I say let her join."

Roslyn beamed as she looked up at Aiden, thankful to him for sticking up for her.

"Fine," Ciaran agreed, "she can stay."

"Oh thank you!" Roslyn clapped her hands together in excitement before turning her attention back to the blonde prince, "and thank you, Aiden."

Aiden smiled, "Anytime."

Once again, Aiden's attention was pulled to the curly-haired witch as she walked into the throne room. He knew that her powers were one of death and destruction but Aiden didn't think that she was trying to cause his death. But by the way that he had taken his breath away everytime he caught a glimpse of her tonight...

He was a dead man walking.

"Great!" Ciaran exclaimed, pulling Aiden once again out of his trance, "Everyone is here! Gather around!"

"What do you think Ciaran has planned?"

Aiden nearly jumped as Mireya came to his side and whispered in his ear.

"Knowing him, some kind of game where he might be able to get Ada alone."

Mireya scoffed and rolled her eyes, "Please tell me that we aren't going to play-"

"Time to play spin the bottle!"

"Fuck." Mireya dropped her head.

Aiden chuckled as he looked over at Mireya, "What's so wrong about spin the bottle?"

"We aren't preteens anymore. And some people in this room are actually adults."

Mireya did have a point. It was a fairly juvenile game, but heck, if Aiden could snag a kiss from someone, he was game to play. Especially if the bottle landed on Mireya. He'd cheat the game for the bottle to land on her.

The group of friends gathered in the center of the throne room where Ciaran somehow found an empty bottle.

"What?" Ciaran looked at his confused friends, "Mom and dad enjoy a nightly glass of wine in the throne room from time to time."

"Whatever," Malik replied, "let's just play."

Everyone sat down in a circle, Ciaran next to Ada who was next to Rhiannon who was next to Mireya who was next to Aiden who was next to Roslyn who was next to Valerie who was next to Malik. Ciaran set the bottle in the center and placed his hand on top to take a spin.

Everyone held their breath as the bottle spun round and round the circle before finally landing on Rhiannon.

So close, Ciaran thought but shrugged before leaning over to Rhiannon where they shared a very short peck on the lips. Everyone giggled, save for Ada, before Rhiannon took the bottle and spun.

Once again, the bottle spun in the center of the circle, everyone waiting to see where it would land. To everyone's surpris it landed on Valerie.

"Ew," Rhiannon scrunched up her nose, "there is no way."

"Agreed," Valerie replied in disgust.

Ciaran spoke up, "Just kiss each other on the cheek."

"Ew," Rhiannon said again with a groan, "fine."

Rhinnon leaned over and placed a quick kiss on her older sister's cheek. Valerie wiped the kiss away before grabbing the bottle and giving it a spin. Everyone "ooh"ed when the bottle landed on Mireya.

Mireya simply looked across the circle at Valerie, "The bottle has decided."

"Mireya..."

"You know you have been dying to kiss me, Val." Mireya teased before she slowly and seductively crawled across the circle, Aiden nearly passing out as Mireya's behind was practically in his face.

Mireya placed a hand on Valerie's cheek before slowly placing her lips on Valerie's. The kiss was not a regular peck but instead slow and gradually became more and more heated as Valerie and Mireya's lips began to move together.

"Yeah!" Malik cheered as he watched Mireya and Valerie continue to engage in a heated lip lock.

"You are such a pig," Rhiannon scoffed.

"Um, you can't tell me that this is kinda hot." Malik replied.

"She's my sister..."

"And my girlfriend."

"Alright, alright," Ciaran pulled the two teens away from one another, "while I would have loved that to continue going on, we have a game to get back to.'

Mireya returned to her spot between Aiden and Rhiannon and wiped the corner of her lips.

"What was that?" Aiden asked, trying his best not to sound completely out of breath after witnessing Mireya make out with Valerie.

"Just trying to make this game a little more...fun." Mireya winked before leaning forward to reach for the bottle, once again giving Aiden a very nice view of her backside.

The bottle went spinning before coming to a slow stop in front of Malik.

"Well well well, my prince." Mireya wiggled her eyebrows at Malik before crawling towards him just as she had done towards Valerie.

Valerie placed a hand out, stopping Mireya in her prowl towards Malik.

"Watch it, Saladin."

"Dinner is served." A servant announced as the members of the Winx and Specialists were chatting amongst themselves. They looked around and saw that the majority of their children had been missing. Not that it was a cause for concern, the children usually tended to wander off.

But it was time for the birthday dinner for the Solarian twins and everyone needed to head to the dining room.

"I'll figure out where they are," Riven announced to the group, "they couldn't have gotten too far."

The rest of the Winx and Specialists made their way out of the large reception room and towards the dining room.

"Hey, kid." Riven called out to Irene as she was walking out of the room with Khai.

"I have a name, Uncle Riven." Irene rolled her eyes.

"Sorry, Irene." Riven enunciated her name in an exaggerated fashion, "But do you know where the others went?"

"I don't know," Irene shrugged, "but I think I heard Malik talking to Rhiannon about playing a game in the throne room.

Riven smiled, "Great! Thanks, kid! I'll give you my piece of cake."

"It's Irene and you know that I am gluten intolerant."

"Then you can have my salad then, damn."

Riven laughed before walking out of the reception room and began walking down the corridors of the palace to the large throne room.

Aiden had managed to kiss Ada, Valerie, and even Ciaran but it was if the Great Dragons of Pyros were cursing him. What sin had he committed so as to be punished like this? All he wanted to do was shove his tongue down Mireya's throat and...

Not in front of all of their friends.

"Oh!" Ciaran exclaimed, "Malik and Roslyn!"

Roslyn blushed as the neck of the bottle pointed to her. Malik shrugged before leaning across the circle and gave Roslyn a kiss on the cheek.

"The cheek?" Roslyn pouted.

"Are you trying to steal my boyfriend?" Valerie replied.

"No, but he kissed everyone else on the lips."

"Well," Malik rubbed the back of his neck as he returned to his spot next to Valerie, "you're just a kid and I'm eighteen."

"You kissed Mireya and even Ada on the lips and they are only sixteen and fifteen."

"Ros..."

Roslyn huffed as she placed her hand on the bottle and it spun aggressively around the circle. Roslyn stared at the bottle as it spun and slowly but surely came to a stop.

The neck of the bottle pointing right to Aiden.

The suns of Solaira would have had a run for their money for the way that Roslyn's smile lit up the room. Aiden looked over to Roslyn and finally realized that maybe Valerie had been right earlier, Roslyn was definitely crushing on him. But she would understand it was just a game, right?

Roslyn quickly leaned forward and Aiden slowly met her in the middle. Their lips touched and before Aiden could pull away, because there was no way that Roslyn was, a loud voice filled the throne room.

"GET YOUR LIPS OFF OF MY DAUGHTER!"

Aiden jumped back and everyone turned their attention over to Riven who was standing in the door way of the throne room, his face almost as red and dark as his hair. If there was one man that everyone in the friend group feared, it was Riven. Everyone knew that he did not play around when it came to his children. After telling Riven that he and Valerie were dating, Malik said that he would have rather have faced a wild dragon.

Roslyn was Riven's "little girl" and Aiden had been caught with his lips on hers. He was fucking dead.

"We were just pl-" Ciaran tried to appease the angry father but to no avail.

"EVERYONE OUT OF THE THRONE ROOM! DINNER IS BEING SERVED!" Riven's voice seemed to shake the throne room. Well, that is how everyone felt, scared and shaking, except for the Scott girls. They knew that their dad would not hurt them.

Everyone quickly rose to their feet and scurried out of the throne room, leaving the bottle behind.

"Not you!" Riven yelled at Aiden, stopping the young prince in his tracks, "You too, Roslyn Grace."

Roslyn looked down at her hands as she stood next to Aiden in front of her father. Aiden really wished that Kenna was here so that he could grant her wish of being aloud to burn him alive. Malik was right, suddenly a dragon adn fiery death was not looking too bad. He would probably have a much more pleasant experience.

"Explain yourself, boy!" Riven's voice boomed, but this time more dark than it had been before, as if Riven were no longer shocked but instead simmering with rage.

"It was just a game...sir." Aiden added on for good measure. Aiden may be a prince but a prince was nothing compared to an overprotective father.

"So my daughter is a game to you? Is that what she is, pretty boy?"

Why was everyone calling him 'pretty boy'?

"N...n...no, sir. I just-"

"We were playing spin the bottle, dad. I spun it and it landed on Aiden. That's it."

"I don't care what you two were playing," Riven glared at Aiden, "if I ever catch you near my daughter like that again, Eraklyon will be needing a new prince."

"Dad!" Roslyn protested.

"No more spin the bottle for you, young lady!" Riven scolded, "And no boys until I'm dead."

"DAD!"

"Just get to dinner," Riven instructed his youngest daughter, "before I decide whether I want to lock you up in a tower like that one princess from that story you liked so much growing up."

Roslyn rolled her eyes before walking past her dad and out of the throne room. Aiden made a move to follow but a large and heavy hand landed on his chest. Aiden looked up and gulped as he came face to face with a glaring Riven.

"Mr. Scott, I-"

"She is only fourteen years old!" Riven yelled.

"I know that and I-"

"You what?" Riven countered.

Aiden sighed, "It really was just a game, sir. I promise that I didn't have any ill intentions towards your daughter. And besides, your daughter isn't-"

"My daughter isn't what?"

Aiden really wished that Riven would stop interrupting him.

"I already have my eyes set on someone else...not your daughter..." Aiden sighed, "And I agree, she is only fourteen. I honestly just see Roslyn as a little sister. And Rhiannon and I see Alfie as a little brother. Trust me, sir, we are all just friends."

Riven looked Aiden up and down, assessing his sincerity.

"Fine," Riven slowly relaxed, "but if I ever see you with my daughter-"

"I know, I know," Aiden shook his head, "I'll just go ahead and throw myself into the dragon pit."

"You're damn right."

Riven gave Aiden one more harsh look before turning around and walking out of the door.

"Hurry up and get to the dining room," Riven called out, "and try not to look so scared. "

Riven was out of sight and Aiden let out a huge sigh of relief. He was alive, at least he thought he was. This experience definitely confirmed to Aiden that he never wanted to get on Riven's bad side ever again.

Aiden adjusted the sleeves of his dress shirt before walking towards the exit of the throne room when he suddenly felt something pull on the back of his shirt and pull him behind the curtains of the throne room.

"What the-" Aiden was silenced when he realized that he was standing chest to chest with Mireya. And she really had a great chest.

"Shh," Mireya brought a slender finger up to her plump lips, "I don't want anyone to hear us."

"Hear us?" Aiden asked, "Why did you pull me-"

Aiden was cut off when he felt a pair of soft lips land on his own. It took him a moment to realize that Mireya had kissed him; still kissing him and kissing him hard. Almost like she had with Valerie but Aiden far preferred Mireya's lips on his. Taking the opportunity, Aiden's hands raised and cupped the sides of Mireya's face, pulling her in closer and plunging his tongue into her mouth.

Finally, Aiden thought. He had been wanting to do that since the minute Mireya walked into the room with that skin-tight dress.

But just as quickly as the kiss began, Mireya pulled her head back and smirked at Aiden.

"You really need to learn how to stare at a girl without making it so obvious."

Aiden's mouth was agape as he had been called out and teased by Mireya.

"I wasn't staring," Aiden rolled his eyes, "I was just..."

"What?" Mireya asked as she leaned in, her lips grazing over Aiden's.

"I don't know." Aiden softly replied, his mind clouding once again.

"Is Roslyn really just a friend?" Mireya asked.

"Yes."

"Am I just a friend?"

Aiden felt another shiver roll up his spine as Mireya's bright green eyes met his behind her long and dark eyelashes.

"Not if you don't want to be." Aiden's mouth quirked up into a half smile.

Mireya's lips turned into a sly and sultry smile, "And the person who you have your eyes set on?"

Aiden teased, "I don't think that you want to know the answer to that question?"

"I really think I do."

"Why? Do you hope that I am going to say that it is you?"

Mireya turned her head, her lips now resting against Aiden's ear, "Not as much as you hope that I reciprocate those feelings, Your Highness."

Aiden wrapped an arm around Mireya's waist and pulled her even closer, "Of course it is you."

"Good."

Mireya placed a soft kiss to the side of Aiden's neck, right beneath his ear.

"And you?" Aiden asked. Mireya was right, he really hoped that she had reciprocated the attraction that he had felt for her. He didn't know much about his feelings at the moment, it had been the frst night that he had seen Mireya as a young woman instead of a girl. He was only seventeen and she was sixteen, they had plenty of time to figure things out. Why not have some fun along the way?

"Red Fountain training certainly does a body good." Mireya replied as she placed another kiss on the side of Aiden's neck. "And I kind of have a thing for tall, pale, blonde guys."

"Dark and handsome not really your thing?"

"Oh, Aiden," Mireya pulled away and smiled, "everything is my thing."

Well that didn't make Aiden very secure in his standings with Mireya.

"But looks aren't that important to me," Mireya continued, "I am a witch, we don't really care about aesthetics."

Aiden smiled, "Speaking of witch, you were absolutely wicked wearing that dress here tonight. I am surprised your parents let you out of the house."

Mireya shrugged, "Well, when I am basically the harbinger of death, I can kind of wear whatever I want."

Aiden gulped, "Remind me never to get on you bad side."

"Smart choice, Your Highness." Mireya winked.

Aiden felt another chill run down his back. He was finding that he loved it when Mireya called him by his title.

"We should probably head to the dining room." Mireya said before she pulled back the curtains and made a move to step back out into the throne room but she was stopped when she felt Aiden's hand wrap around her wrist.

Aiden didn't know how to say this, "Do you want to maybe go out when we are both back at school?"

Mireya exhaled with a small laugh as she looked at Aiden, "I don't think that would be good for your reputation."

"I don't care about my reputation."

"But Eraklyon does," Mireya replied, "A witch and their precious prince together? Think of the scandal in the court."

"Fuck the court," Aiden replied.

Mireya laughed again before her eyes met Aiden's again and she leaned in, their lips almost touching but Mireya refusing to close the gap.

"I'll think about it," Mireya said, "but right now, we need to get to dinner before they send out a search party and then you will have my father to deal with."

Aiden sighed, "Fine."

"And if you are really good at dinner," Mireya's lips danced across Aiden's as she spoke, "I might even give you a dessert."

Grabbing Mireya's wrist once again, Aiden made a beeline out of the throne room and to the dining hall, suddenly starving and eagerly awaiting whatever 'dessert' that Mireya had for him.

Well, there it is. If there are any mistakes, I am sorry, I have a really bad cold and I can hardly focus when I am sick haha. Anyways, I hope that kind of clears up things for y'all. There will probably be more chapters with Aiden and Mireya in the future (because you all seem to like it) but first, gotta give some time to some other story lines. See you in the next chapter and as always, let me know what you think!
