Author's Note: Has it only been two weeks? Yay! I updated in two weeks! I'm so proud of myself lol. Really, though, this chapter was easy for me to get out because of all the hype, the build up and the excitement that the characters had. So be ready for some things to get happening. It's the day that everyone has been waiting for. A lot happens so I won't keep you waiting any longer. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha

susu-anon: Oh no! If you think Koga is a creep just from that... I wonder how you'll take him when you get to see his true nature. Haha! Your comment about Onigumo cracked me up lol. Yeah he can get on everyone's nerves, buckle up buttercup! He'll get much "sweeter" down the line ;) I'm glad you caught the music video thing. It wasn't for Kag's discretion or her preference (even though she is opening up to being in the public eye more and more). It was for the dramatics of the video. Everyone talked about this 'blue-haired dancer' and then started to see her more on the TV interviews and shows that Kik was doing before the concert. She then released her name to the public and now everyone knows who she is. But the whole "unveiling" was for the suspense of the video and for the fans to see the two dancers who danced so passionately together throughout the entire video... only come to find out that it was Inuyasha and Kagome! Surprise! Are they a thing? Are they together since they just danced something like THAT? That was the big surprise that led to (of course) gossip and rumors being spread. Perhaps that was the intention behind Naraku and Akari's suggestion to put Inu/Kag in the video, or perhaps not. Whatever it was, it did the trick in surprising the fans and causing an uproar. As for your question about anyone knowing that Miroku will propose... well, you'll read about it below :) Enjoy! Thanks for your review!

hive-chan: Ooooo your mind is so devilish... lol. I like it. Gotta think about plots and twists to keep the story alive. But yes, things are about to pop off in this concert. A lot of fame and attention will be coming to them, both good and bad. But as for the PR stunt... hmmm, sneaky sneaky. But no. You'll see what happens below. Thanks for your review and enjoy this one!

Rosie B: I like that you love songs and their references, especially matching songs to this 'dance-based' story. I love music too and love singing (*ahem behind closed doors or going 60mph on a highway) so I can relate to your love for music. I listened to both of your songs and wow, that "Mood Ring by Britney Spears" music video... that was like Kagome on the floor lol! I'm also glad you like music because there's a lot of songs that I will incorporate (all of my recent favorites) that really speak to Inu/Kag's relationship. Anyways, enjoy this chapter and thank you for your review!

anime-geek: I'm glad you picked up on the whole atmosphere I created for those two. I tried not to push it but to make it as simple and as "coincidental" as I could, in them both happening to be wearing red. I won't bring up the whole demon thing just yet. I want Kags to meet his family, like really meet them and get to know them in order to learn more about mating a demon. As for Onigumo... he will show his colors soon now that the concert is happening and perhaps Inu/Kag might pursue something deeper. That would definitely throw him over the edge. And as for Kag's receiving special treatment... yeah she's just not used to it. If you think about her background as an unwanted child who was abandoned and uncared for by her parents, growing up with nothing and in no homes, no schooling, no friends... she really isn't used to all this lavishness and grand treatment. Although she gets some of it from Midnite and she definitely has the money for it after working as a gentlemen's girl for almost 10 years... she's just not that kind of a girl. Her background has taught her a lot in self-sufficiency. Anyways, I'm giving away too much. Haha, enjoy this chapter! Thanks for your review!

xsophiex: Awww thanks for your review. I'm glad you caught on to some subtle things too and that you enjoyed the whole story. I understand your concerns with Onigumo and Kag's mother. Onigumo will play out the more Kag is taken from him so prepare yourself (hint hint). And Kag's Mom is still alive. That's all I'll say :) Hope you enjoy this chapter!

MinxieXCX: Ah! I'm glad you caught that little 'bill payment' there at the end. Yes, she is a self-sufficient, independent kind of girl. She was brought up to be, not by choice, but by her parent's actions and negligence. So she has some ways and habits that she needs to get over and work on but her building her trust with Inu is the first step to breaking her independence. Koga will keep coming in slowly. He's not one to get his hands dirty so he won't be seeing Kag anytime soon. Thanks for your review. Enjoy this next one!

Thursday. The day before the concert. The day everyone was to head down to Osaka and stay for the entire weekend. Kagome thought about the weekend's agenda as she packed her suitcase. She was able to sleep in as their flight wasn't until eleven in the morning, giving them all time to get enough rest for a long day of travel and work. She woke up this morning feeling ready and refreshed, finishing up packing with a few more things, maybe a bit more things than she really needed. But she wanted to be prepared for anything that they might want to do after their big performance was over and done with. Kagome smiled to herself, letting the weekend's events play out in her mind as she wandered through her apartment, grabbing last minute essentials.

Tomorrow as the big day, the big night, the night they all have been waiting for and practicing all month for. She could remember Hawai'i's concert like it was yesterday, her big breakthrough and her big reveal as the 'blue-haired dancer'. Now she would be known as just Kagome Saito, or as most fans are notably calling her, Blue Lightning. Of course, she wasn't 'Blue Lightning' without her partner, Inuyasha Fujimoto. The two of them became a duo once that music video came out and now fans and the media were calling the two of them 'Blue Lightning'. Fans and the media got hold of the photoshoot photos, edited 'Blue Lightning' onto them and plastered it everywhere, from the big screens in the city to the posters in store windows and especially on social media. Throughout the last three days of being back in Tokyo, people and fans have been acknowledging her more now on the streets as if they knew her. Well, it wasn't like she could hide with her notably blue hair. But a lot of people were coming up to her, excusing themselves as they wanted to say something to her or take a selfie with her or ask about Inuyasha. Whenever people saw them together, especially with the group, even more so people would excuse themselves and come up to them, calling them 'Blue Lightning' and asking for a photo together or an autograph. It was insane what a music video had done for her, and Inuyasha. It had given her this new name, perhaps a new persona as she was now a duo with him. Of course, fans still asked if they were dating and they still had to shoot down those rumors. But it was nice to see that Kikyo's music video had become such a huge hit in Japan, toppling over fifteen million views on YouTube in almost one week. That's not to count how many times it was shared all over people's social media.

With all that in mind, Kagome was adjusting to this new life of fame. The transition was a bit easier, she had to admit, with Inuyasha as her partner, sharing the limelight with her. Because she was coming out with him, it wasn't like the spotlight was solely on her, making her feel anxious and afraid. Because he was also a part of it, it comforted her knowing that he was by her side, answering the questions or taking more of the attention, knowing that she needed time to adjust. He was her buffer and he read her well, knowing when she had enough or knowing when she felt comfortable enough to start sharing herself. Without him, Kagome was sure that she would suffocate from all this attention, walking on the streets and getting called out, noticed. Even when she was alone now and people would call on her, she found it easier to simply accept it and show the fans love and appreciation back. Just by a simple wave to their acknowledgement, that was enough to help her ease into this new life. Had this happened a couple of months ago she would've broken down and reacted in a totally different way. She was grateful for Inuyasha.

Inuyasha. That man was doing something to her that she never thought she ever would've felt or find in this lifetime. Kagome smiled to herself in the mirror as she grabbed some things out of her bathroom. Inuyasha made her feel beautiful. He always complimented her, especially when they were alone or when only she could hear him. They shared little moments together and true to his word, he always tried to get tit-for-tat with her, which she thought was so endearing and thoughtful. Even if it was just something as small as sharing her favorite color or food, he always wanted to get to know her better, and she him. And that was what she loved about him. He cared enough to ask. He cared enough to want to know more about her, even the small things, like how was her day or what she had for dinner last night. He was proving to her that he cared. She tried not to look into it too much, but sometimes she felt like he liked her, perhaps as much as she liked him. She didn't want to get her hopes up, but remembering that he had feelings for her and that he wasn't going to give her up gave her hope that maybe he was the one. The one she never thought she would've ever found or had destined for her. The one man she loved. She never thought she would ever be able to love someone after her past, but here he was, proving to her that she could love a man. It was possible for someone like her to find love and hopefully, one day, be loved back.

Kagome zipped up her suitcase and smiled. 'Done.' She made sure all of her lights were all turned off. She would be gone for the whole weekend, coming back home Monday night. She already gave the dates to Onigumo a long time ago and he was looking forward to when this concert was over and she would be back to her normal schedule at Midnite. That is, of course, until the next concert would be. Kikyo would be expected to do a tour no doubt. Kagome had heard that being brought up a few times by Naraku and Akari during their practices, but she never really heard the logistics behind it. A tour sounded demanding and long, though she didn't know much about them. Yet, with so many things happening with Kikyo, not to mention her new album that she could now focus on once Yanmar was over with, she definitely needed to figure out what she wanted to do next. Hawai'i and Yanmar were both concerts of her old album that came out a year or two ago. Now, she wants to make a new one and has been working on it already. If she was to do a tour with the old album, she would have to put the new one on hold. Naraku and Akari were working with Kikyo on what to do next, but all Kagome was concerned about was her time that would be dedicated to Kikyo instead of at Midnite. That would be a struggle with Onigumo, especially if she would be needed soon after she had asked for so much of him this past month for her to come to Osaka during the weekends and the overnight stays. Weekends were her work days, the busiest times at Midnite, and her clients have been missing her, according to Onigumo. So she had to make sure not to overdo it and test Onigumo's patience.

Kagome closed her door and locked it, heading down the small elevator with her suitcase. She texted Jinenji that she was ready. He would take her to the airport and meetup with everyone there. She smiled as she descended, ready for another adventure with the group.

-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-

Once the group landed in Osaka and deplaned, the airport terminal was a mad house. There were so many people in the airport that it could only be accounted to the fact that it was Kikyo's concert tomorrow and everyone was arriving for it. The terminals were bustling with fans, mostly of the younger generation, as they were all arriving in groups with friends or family. But once Kikyo and her group got into the terminal, everyone's attention went to her and the group that it became a struggle to get through the crowds.

Ben, Mike and Brady were at the front, leading the way as Kikyo stayed in the center of the three while Naraku and Akari stayed right behind her. The rest of the group followed them and, true to his word, Naraku had hired four more bodyguards just to be safe. Of course, none of them had been in this situation before so he wasn't sure how many men to hire. Four was the number they all agreed on for now and if need be, he was able to hire more within 24 hours. The four men, two on each side of the group, kept the group together while keeping others out of the mix. Most of the attention was for Kikyo as many of the people stopped and bowed at her, smiling and wanting to make conversation or take photos. But she just kept moving.

Kagome smiled as the fans around them were calling out for Blue Lightning. A few of them came up to her side, where Inuyasha stood next to her at the edge of their group. "Blue Lightning! We love you! You're amazing! Can I take a picture with you?" So many people were coming closer and closer, trying to get a better view of everyone in the group, while keeping their distance thanks to the bodyguards.

"Wow, it's like a hoard," Kagome said, looking around them in awe at the amount of people here in the airports who knew them. Thankfully, many had Japanese etiquette and didn't bombard their space by trying to touch them or shove selfie sticks in their faces. But there were always those few, the younger generations, who expressed themselves in words and actions a lot more than the older generation.

"Blue Lightning!" a woman said, placing her hand on Inuyasha's arm. Kagome turned to look, just as he looked back, at a young woman with two of her friends. All three of them were beaming at him with dreamy eyes, totally uncaring about touching him. "Inuyasha! Please, can we take a picture with you?!" They all repeated her request, hoping beyond hope that he would stop and take a picture as they walked alongside him.

One of the bodyguards came up to grab at her hand but Inuyasha gave him a look and shook his head. Really, he didn't need bodyguards, but he understood the necessity for the sake of the security of the entire group. Inuyasha reached for her hand and gently took it off him, smiling at her. The young woman nearly swooned.

"I'm sorry. We have to be somewhere but I hope I see you at the concert," he said, giving them a last smile. The women just smiled back and nodded, all dreamy eyed.

Kagome watched them and shook her head. 'I hope I was never like that.' She knew she wasn't, never had been so head over heels for a celebrity, and she wondered why women were so infatuated with the rich and famous.

"What?" Inuyasha asked her with a smirk, seeing her reaction. Others were still calling out for Blue Lightning or for Inuyasha or Kagome. Still others on the other side of the group were coming closer, grabbing onto some of the group members to plead with them to take a photo with them. But with the bodyguard's help, and with a gentle apology, they kept moving towards the baggage claim together. It looked like some fans had already begun filming on their phones as they followed the group, keeping their phones up in front of their faces.

"Nothing," Kagome said, watching Kikyo who was made for this type of fame. She wasn't fazed in the least, keeping her smile on as she waved at her fans and nodded at them. She was appeasing them while also denying their requests for photos and autographs without having to say anything. She kept moving and following close to her bodyguards.

"Don't tell me you're jealous," Inuyasha teased, inching closer to her to nudge her on her shoulder. "Hmmm?"

Kagome glared at him and nudged him back, making him laugh. "I'm not jealous. Those girls just need to get their head on straight." Inuyasha burst out laughing even more, making Kagome laugh along with him at the absurdity of all this.

It took them a little longer to get down to the baggage claim with the fans following them or with them creating a little bit of an obstacle course. Sometimes they moved fast while other times they moved really slow, trying to get through the thicker crowd. Once they got to the sliding doors that led to the outside pickup area, the people who were gathered outside near the road began to come closer, wondering who it was. Everyone began to recognize Kikyo and the group and began crowding in, making even the cars passing by slow down, trying to see what all the hype was about.

"There's the bus," Naraku said, pointing in one direction. They all made their way to the tour bus, continuing to smile and nod at their fans. Kagome couldn't believe how many people were here. Of course, it wasn't just to see them, but the fact that they were all here, arriving or just being at the airport at the same time, it was a little bit overwhelming. The Hawai'i concert wasn't anything like this. Then again, they were home in Japan where Kikyo Hayashi was an even bigger hit than in international waters. Quite honestly, Kagome was still getting used to this fame. It was easier to take since she was in the middle of the group, Inuyasha on the outside of her. She felt safe and protected with all her coworkers, everyone sharing in the fame and spotlight.

Once they got to the bus, that wasn't labeled with anything to advertise who was in it, Kikyo turned to talk to Naraku. He shrugged his shoulders and caught the three bodyguard's attention to convey the plan as Kikyo put on her best smile and looked out at the fans. She smiled and waved at them, giving them some attention and love now that they were just a feet away from the safety of their bus. The fans suddenly crowded closer, wanting to get a photo with Kikyo or her autograph. She gave them her attention and spoke with them, thanking them for their support. The fans also crowded closer to the group, wanting their attention as well. Kagome and Inuyasha were both called on, people yelling for Blue Lightning as they rushed forward, nearly pushing the two back into the bus. Inuyasha stood in front of Kagome, shielding her, trying to be friendly to the fans while also getting ticked off that they were threatening her safety. The bodyguards and the other group members had to help calm the crowd down before things got too rowdy and someone got hurt. Once they all settled, stopped screaming and waited for their turn, everyone was simply taking photos with the dancers or with Kikyo. They brought their Kikyo Hayashi merchandise that they bought along with their tickets. The photos the group took from the photoshoot were made into merchandise for the fans to buy, from photos, posters, backpacks, notebooks, bracelets, even the tickets themselves for the concert, the fans had brought and were asking for them to sign. After giving the fans a few minutes, Naraku placed his hand on Kikyo's shoulder, urging her into the bus. She gave one last wave at the fans and thanked them for supporting her, hoping to see them at the concert tomorrow night. She boarded the bus and the dancers followed slowly behind, doing their last rounds and saying their goodbyes.

"Everyone okay?" Naraku asked, looking around as he stood next to the driver. Everyone was taking their seats and chatting amongst themselves in excitement and thrill.

"That was pretty cool," Shippo said, standing next to Emi, bending a little to look out the windows at all the people waiting outside. "Everyone is really going nuts over you two," he said, turning to wink at Kagome.

She looked at the people outside as they began to disperse. "Blue Lightning is becoming a real thing." All those fans out there who nearly toppled her over if it wasn't for Inuyasha were just today's arriving fans. She could only imagine out of the 50,000 coming to tomorrow's concert, how many more are in love with Blue Lightning.

"It is a thing," Akari pointed out. "It's a huge thing and it is your brand," she said, looking between Inuyasha and Kagome. "If the two of you wanted to, you could branch out and start your own brand together. Because of this new rise in fame for 'Blue Lightning,' you could sell merchandise or even start a business."

Kikyo turned to look at Akari, giving her a stern look. "Stop trying to give my choreographer any ideas."

Akari smiled apologetically at her. "Sorry, Kikyo. I wouldn't want to take him away from you. I'm just saying," she said, looking back at Kagome. "Blue Lightning is an entity of its own." She sat down, not wanting to tell them anymore before Kikyo got upset.

Kagome thought about that for a moment. 'A brand?' The two of them could be and do their own thing, outside of Kikyo's group? She couldn't see how or why since Kikyo was the one who made them with her music video. She was taken out of her thoughts as Inuyasha pushed against her, wanting to sit next to her. She scooted over to the window and looked at him.

"Don't think about it too much."

Kagome frowned. "Aren't you worried? What if Kikyo thinks that we're going to leave the group?" she whispered, not wanting Kikyo to hear them. The bus was a little noisy with everyone talking to each other, as they waited for the bodyguards to get back with their baggage so that they could head to the hotel. The bus driver had left them to go out to the rear where he waited to load their baggage into the separate back part of the bus.

Inuyasha shrugged. "We won't leave the group."

Kagome paused, blinking at him. He sounded so sure, as if he never wanted to leave the group even if he had the opportunity. "You don't want to leave," she pointed out.

Inuyasha shook his head, making a face. "Never did. Miroku, Sango, Kikyo and I started this together. This might be a 'Kikyo Hayashi' show, but we're still a team. We helped get her to where she is now and she helped us get to where we are now. Even you and I," he said, looking at her. "Besides… these people are like family to me. I wouldn't want to leave them." Kagome nodded, turning her head to look out the window. She was starting to feel that way with everyone, all thanks to Inuyasha. He was opening her up and allowing her to see them as family because he was teaching her how to trust. She turned to watch the cars drive by, looking for their passengers to pick up.

"What's with the face?" he asked her, noticing her withdraw. He watched her silently, trying to read her better with each passing day. He was getting better at reading her, sensing her moods and reading her body language.

Kagome shrugged. "I just don't want to cause drama between you and Kikyo. Or even with the others. I never thought about what Akari said. We literally could sell merchandise or sell ourselves to other artists for their concerts. Heck, we could do whatever we want with people wanting to book us for events and interviews," she said, taking it all in.

"Yeah we could do that. Is that what you want to do?" He didn't know why she seemed bothered by this fact that they were such a big hit. He had known within the first 24 hours of the music video dropping that they were going to be such a huge hit that it could cause jealousy from their own group members or even from Kikyo. He had already thought about the repercussions that this fame might backfire on them. One thing he knew for sure. His loyalty was with Kikyo and with this group. If anyone was to offer him a deal, even a better deal, money meant nothing to him. He had a lot of it and didn't need anymore. What he didn't have was friends that he could trust and were like family to him. He was going to stay as Kikyo's choreographer, keep doing what he's been doing, and keep his dancers that he's had for years.

Kagome shook her head, calming his concerns. "No. I might not have the same relationship you have with the others…"

"Yet," Inuyasha interjected.

Kagome smiled at him. "Yet. But I do feel like it's a family here. I also wouldn't want to leave the others."

Inuyasha smiled. He knew she had a ways to go and he wished that her friendship with Sango would be deeper, similar to what he had with Miroku. But over time, they had to figure that out on their own. He wouldn't force the two of them to be best friends, but knowing what Sango was about to go through soon, he at least wanted another female there for her who could support her through it all. He glanced next to him at Miroku, watching as he chatted with Sango about something. Inuyasha shook his head with a smile.

-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-

"Ms. Hayashi, everyone, welcome to the Hotel Hankyu International!" The president of the hotel greeted everyone as they entered the front doors, being welcomed by the president, vice president and a few other supervisors that surrounded him. It was a big, warm greeting from the hotel management that they hadn't expected.

Kikyo smiled as she led the group forward, stopping to bow at all seven of them. "Thank you so much for this warm welcome."

The president bowed back and stepped forward. "It's my pleasure. I wanted to formally greet you all and thank you for choosing our hotel for your stay in Osaka. Please let us know how we can accommodate you in anyway to make your stay more at home."

Kikyo smiled and nodded as a woman stepped forward with the same pamphlets they had last weekend in her hands.

"All of you are already checked in. I have your room keys." She began to call out their names. Everyone had the same rooms with the same roommates as they did last week. "We also added a couple of gifts just to thank you for choosing to stay with us."

The president nodded his head. "For every night you are with us, everyone has a ticket for one free entree at a restaurant of their choice. You should all have three dinner tickets in your pamphlets. And, as we know, you're here because of your concert. So we gave everyone a free 30 minute massage in our spa."

Everyone looked at each other, happy and excited to receive all these perks. Kikyo bowed towards the management team. "Thank you, again, for your hospitality. This hotel is very beautiful and in a very convenient place with our venue. We enjoyed ourselves last weekend and I'm sure we'll enjoy ourselves this weekend too." The management team bowed and then excused themselves, wishing them all a happy stay.

"So… what's on the agenda for today?" Inuyasha asked, wanting to get the day going. They had all woken up later than normal to start at a later time so that they could practice all night at the venue before tomorrow night's concert.

"Well, I figure we go up and freshen up for fifteen, twenty minutes. Hopefully your luggage will get to your room soon. And then we can go have lunch before we head to the venue." The others all agreed and they all headed for the elevator.

-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-

It was already two in the afternoon when the group arrived at Yanmar, refreshed from a big lunch to carry them through the rest of their day. The venue had planned to feed them for dinner again, and since they were going to be here until ten in the evening, they had agreed to eat dinner here instead of using their free dinner at the hotel. There was nothing they could do about it. Time wasn't on their side since the concert was tomorrow and they needed all the practice they could get at night to really see how things were going to be tomorrow night.

"Okay, line up!" Inuyasha said, getting everyone into their formations on the sides of the stage, behind the LED screens. "Kikyo!" The woman was talking with Naraku but then left when he called her name, heading over to her spot in the center of the stage close to the back screen, holding a microphone in her hand. The sound crew was standing nearby, waiting for his cue, so that they could start the music. Thanks to Mizuki and Suikotsu, they had the back track they needed for the entire night, from the filler instrumentals for their transitions to the actual music tracks with Kikyo's voice. Inuyasha, always a stickler for live music, insists that Kikyo sings live, using the back track if she needs a breath. The whole reason why fans came was to hear a singer sing and perform, and that was something he always drilled into Kikyo since she first started. Even during practice, he would make her sing to condition her body and endurance but also to do a sound check with a live mic for a few times throughout the practice.

"Everyone ready?" They all nodded. The stage was clear. They were going to run through their entire performance as many times as they needed to, stopping and fixing things that needed fixing, until Inuyasha was fully satisfied.

Inuyasha and Kikyo stood in the middle of the stage, close to the back, main screen on stage. "Okay, Kikyo. Pretend that you're coming down while you sing." She nodded her understanding, going through their routine a dozen times, perhaps more, by now. But she, like Inuyasha, wanted everything to be perfect. Inuyasha took one last look at her and nodded, heading to one side of the stage. "Alright. Let's do it." The sound crew took his cue and they played the music.

The music started and Kikyo began to sing, lifting one hand in the air as if she was performing during that night. The others waited behind the side screens for their cue. She sang a little more and then Miroku and Sango came onto the stage from either side, skipping along with the beat until they got to her. They stayed next to her for the same amount of time it was supposed to take the both of them to unstrap Kikyo from the harness. Then they began to dance, following behind Kikyo as she walked forward and put on a show. When it was time for the others to join them, they all came out and formed one long line together. The music reverberated in the empty stadium and Kikyo's voice projected in and out of the stadium walls, making the visitors stop and wonder what the show looked like within.

Once they finished the first three songs and Kikyo had to transition into going backstage to change, Inuyasha stopped the performance.

"Good. What do you guys think?" Inuyasha asked, wanting everyone's feedback before he gave his own.

Kikyo walked back to give her microphone to one of the crew members, not needing it anymore. The sound sounded good to her. Naraku and Akari sat on the grass area below the stage, halfway down the runway. Kikyo made her way back to the middle of the stage where everyone was catching their breath. "Well, I want to work on the beginning with Miroku and Sango. I want to make sure that the two of you will be able to get that thing off me in time."

Miroku and Sango both looked at each other and nodded. "Okay. We've done it in time before. But we can keep doing it just to be sure," Miroku agreed. Sango nodded her agreement.

"Let's at least do the start to the end of the first song again." Kikyo began to walk back towards her starting spot as Sango followed her, calling out to the crew. "Can I have someone setup the butterfly wings?!" The crew came out from backstage with headsets on and clipboards, ready at her beck and call. "I want the harness on me but I won't come down from it. I just want it hooked to me here," she pointed, at her spot she's supposed to land, "while I sing so that we can get used to the timing of getting it off." The crew all nodded their heads and began speaking into their headphones, getting some crew to head up to the beams above to operate the wires and the harness.

Everyone else went back to their sides of the stage and waited, chatting and stretching out, waiting to start again. Inuyasha and Miroku remained at the front of the stage, since Inuyasha had motioned for Miroku to stay back.

"You sure you got this?" Inuyasha asked him.

Miroku smiled, nodding his head. "I'm ready. I've been waiting for this day for years."

Inuyasha smirked, watching his friend light up at the mention of what was to come tomorrow night. No one knew. No one in their group knew. The only ones who knew were himself, Kikyo, Naraku and the stage crew who needed to know the logistics of the entire night's events. He could only imagine what the group would do once they saw what was happening.

"Hmmm… I wonder if we should tell everyone?" he asked himself, looking back at Kagome who was currently talking with Shippo.

Miroku shook his head, noticing in the corner of his eye, Naraku coming up to the stage. "Nah, let them be surprised too. I don't think they'll say anything to Sango, but I just want less people to know. Everyone will just have to contain themselves until after the performance."

Inuyasha blew out air. "Yeah, two hours later," he said, rolling his eyes.

"You two talking about the 'thing'?" Naraku asked, coming up next to the stage as close as he could to them.

Inuyasha looked down at him and nodded, staying where they were at. "Yeah."

"You got this? We need to make sure that you and Sango can do this." Naraku drilled it on Miroku, wanting the concert to be perfect and for no accidents or flaws. If Miroku wanted to use Kikyo's platform for his personal gain, then so be it if Kikyo was willing. So long as Miroku didn't screw her show up in the process.

"Chill," Miroku said, gazing down at Naraku. "We got it. Sango might not know what's really going to happen, but I'll just tell her that we need to go on with the show. She'll hear the cue."

"Sango's a professional," Inuyasha said, knowing his friend. "She knows better."

Naraku shrugged, turning around to head back to Akari. Kikyo called out to the two of them as the crew were helping her into the harness, wanting to continue on with the show.

Hakkaku sat on the edge of the building, swinging his feet back and forth, hitting his heels against the side of the building. He huffed, slapping his palms down on both sides of him, glaring out at the other buildings around them. "When are we going to do something?"

Ginta rolled his eyes at Hakkaku's boredom. "We are doing something." Hakkaku had always been a head-strong, jump into the line of fire, kind of demon. He never had patience to wait for things to happen. He made things happen on his time and in his way. Hakkaku was more of the muscle between the two of them, stronger than Ginta and with more battle experience. Hakkaku had a silver mohawk with a scar on his right cheek, only making him look more brutal when he was angry or impatient. Ginta, on the other hand, was the more calm one, the brains behind the operation. He was more patient, thinking about all the ways something could work and even go wrong. He was more brains than brawn. He had short silver hair with a line of black hair going straight down the middle. They were two opposites of each other, and yet they were brothers.

Hakkaku huffed again and pushed himself up to stand with just his hands, landing gracefully on the edge of the building. "Why don't we just go get her? She's right there!" he said, pointing across the street at the building next to them. Hotel Hankyu International stood taller than the hotel building they were on.

Ginta glared at Hakkaku. "Koga said to make sure that she doesn't notice us. She'll run if she does, and then we might not find her again for several years. We can't take the chance of messing this up," he scolded his brother. Sometimes Hakkaku could be so quick to act and slow to think, making the consequences harder to deal with.

Hakkaku gave Ginta a bored look and just turned around, facing the hotel. "Kagome won't notice us," he argued under his breath.

"She might not. But that half-demon will." Several years ago, Kagome had noticed him and Hakkaku following her out of the train station. He couldn't believe that out of all of the people there in that crowded, disgusting place, that she would notice them. But he could understand why. She had a vivid memory of the two of them and would probably recognize their hair anywhere. That day, they lost her and assumed that she had left the city, quite possibly the entire country. They never found her again, much to Koga's anger and frustration. Now, she was not only flaunting herself around on the big screens and on social media, but she was also doing it with that disgusting hanyou. Ginta knew that inu-youkai had excellent senses, especially when it came to scent. Also, this hanyou was none other than the offspring of the legendary Inutaisho Fujimoto. He and Hakkaku would have to watch for him and start learning his ways if they were going to outsmart him and get to Kagome.

"I can kill that half-demon easily," Hakkaku said, flexing his claws. "That hanyou doesn't stand a chance against us."

"I wouldn't be so sure of yourself, Hakkaku. His father had to have taught him well. And his half brother, Sesshomaru, is a legend himself. Their whole family is known in our world." All demons knew about the Fujimotos, as they were the rulers of the Western Lands.

"Feh. I could still kill him."

Ginta sighed and rested his arms on the edge of the building, tired of arguing about it. They stood on the roof of the building across the street for hours, waiting for the group to come back. It was after ten and still the tour bus hadn't returned. He was starting to wonder if they should've just went to the stadium and watched her there.

Suddenly, a bus came around the corner, catching his eye. Both Ginta and Hakkaku perked up, Hakkaku walking along the edge, staring down at the bus. The bus left the main street and parked on the side street, letting out the bodyguards and the rest of its passengers. The group all made their way up to the front of the entrance to the hotel, bowing and greeting those who recognized them.

"What do you want to do?" Hakkaku asked, watching the group slowly make their way up the sidewalk.

Ginta took a deep breath and let it out. "We know where she's staying. Let's head back to our hotel. Tomorrow night is the concert."

"So we just leave her there?!"

Ginta smirked. "Hakkaku, this game is much more fun. We need to find the right time. I'd think that this weekend will be too hectic for us to get to her. She'll be surrounded by her friends the entire time. No doubt they have a full weekend booked. But that's why our goal is to follow her back to Tokyo." Hakkaku turned to look down at his brother. "We might not get her this weekend, but we'll get her eventually. The hunt is half the fun of the kill. We'll find out where she lives, keep an eye on her for several days, weeks, months if we have to. Then when she thinks she's safe, we'll take her."

Hakkaku smirked, sometimes loving the plans his brother comes up with. He could wait. Demons had all the time in the world. Wolf demons, especially, knew what it meant to have patience, even though he was the worst between him and his brother. Wolves needed to be patient during a hunt, to stalk their pray and wait for their prey to become complacent and weak before they pounced in for the kill. He could do that. Hakkaku turned to watch as the group finally made their way into the building, disappearing from his sight. 'In time, Kagome. You will return to Koga.'

-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-

"Today's the day!" Kikyo exclaimed as she ran down her hallway with nothing but a towel to cover her body. She left Naraku and Akari in the living room area of her hotel room, just as Akari let the others in.

Inuyasha, Miroku, Kagome, Sango, Shippo and Kokoro walked in. Inuyasha shook his head as she ran down to the back where her room was and slammed the door. "Has she been like this all morning?" he asked Akari. She smiled at him and nodded, letting them close the door behind them.

"Yes. She's been on a high all morning. She called us early, around seven, and wanted us to be here by eight to go over things again. She's anxious and excited."

"Too much too soon," Inuyasha warned as everyone followed Akari into the living room. Naraku sat on the red sofa while the television was playing in front of him, muted with closed captions on. It was currently on the morning news as the coverage was about Kikyo's concert in Osaka. There were television crews live outside of Yanmar Stadium reporting on tonight's big event and the estimated 50,000 fans that would be filling the stadium tonight.

Naraku watched as they all came in to stand next to the table and the sofa, watching the television. "Sit," he said with a smile. "Kikyo's the headline news."

"Wow," Kokoro said in awe. "I never knew she was going to get this kind of coverage." She slowly sat her butt to the end of the couch, her eyes fastened to the television. Kagome smiled at Kokoro's fascination and moved to her other side, sitting between the girl and Naraku. Inuyasha followed her and moved to sit between her and Naraku. Although the couch was big, it was a little close for all four of them to sit together. Kagome frowned, turning to look at him with a stare, wondering what his problem was. He just gave her a look and said nothing, leaving her to wonder why he was acting like this. She knew of Naraku's past but he couldn't do anything to her here, in front of everyone. She made a mental note to ask Sango why Inuyasha had such a problem with Naraku touching her. She already didn't like him touching her to begin with. Still, she couldn't even sit next to the man without ruffling Inuyasha's feathers.

"Oh yes," Akari explained. "I had already given the news media enough information they needed to do a story on it, and I gave the venue permission to release certain information to help make a bigger story out of it. They have everything they need," she said confidently, going to one of the sofa chairs next to Naraku's side of the couch. Miroku moved to sit on the sofa chair at the other end next to Kokoro with Sango sitting on his lap while Shippo sat on the floor, propping his back against the couch between Miroku and Kokoro.

"So what's the plans for today?" Inuyasha asked after a few minutes of watching the news. "It's eleven."

"Where's the others?" Naraku asked.

"In their rooms, resting. Waiting to hear back from me. We all woke up around ten." Everyone woke up whenever they felt like it or whenever their roommates' noise got too loud for them to sleep through. After last night's long night, they all decided to sleep in and get the rest they needed for tonight.

Naraku nodded his understanding, moving forward to grab one of the papers scattered across the glass coffee table. "Kikyo has two live interviews via Skype and FaceTime in an hour. Then we'll have lunch, maybe time for a nap, and then we leave the hotel around three-thirty to get to the stadium by four."

Inuyasha nodded his head, leaning into the couch and watching the news as it came back from commercial. "You think there's going to be any problem with security?"

"No. The seven we have is for us when moving about in public. Once we're inside the stadium, it's the venue's responsibility to provide adequate security detail. I went over all the details with the manager of the venue throughout the week. Everything seems okay. They'll have security down at the bottom of the stage, all along the perimeter. We'll have the barricades that gate off the perimeter of the stage with security setup along the barriers, just in case any fanatic fans will jump from the bleachers and run across the field to try to get to the stage."

"What about Ben, Mike and Brady?" Sango asked, snuggled against Miroku's chest.

"They'll be backstage with us. Kikyo wants them there for added protection, especially when the VIP will have backstage access. They'll be backstage during the whole performance and on stage with Kikyo during the whole VIP meet and greet."

"Good," Inuyasha said, thinking they would probably need all those security. This was bigger than they ever had and he didn't know what to expect in terms of rowdiness and safety. Thankfully, this was a stadium so the seats were above the main ground level, so most of the fans would be higher up and would have to risk breaking something if they really wanted to jump onto the field and run across the grass to get to the stage. Inuyasha wasn't worried about himself, or Shippo, since the both of them were demons and could easily protect themselves. He was more so worried about Kikyo and the others, wanting to make sure his group would be safe and protected.

"Let's go eat," Shippo said, holding his stomach. "I'm starving."

"Yeah, we haven't eaten yet," Kagome said with a smile, looking down at him.

Inuyasha nodded his head. "We should go eat. I just wanted to come check on Kikyo and see what her plans were. I'll take the others to go have lunch and then we'll wait around preparing for tonight."

"You guys still have those free massages the hotel gave," Naraku suggested, watching as Inuyasha stood. He looked at Kagome, smiling.

She smiled back and shook her head. "I want to use mine after the concert. Once our job is done, this weekend will be a nice reward for the month of work we put into this show."

"Good point, Kagome!" Sango said as she got to her feet. "I, for one, am looking forward to tonight. It'll be amazing!"

Miroku glanced at Inuyasha, the two of them sharing a knowing smile, before he stood and followed Sango towards the door. The others got up and said their goodbyes to Akari and Naraku before leaving Kikyo's room.

-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-

The tour bus pulled towards the back of the stadium, far away from the main entrance where all the fans were taking their photos with the posters and banners of the group and of Kikyo. The bus backed into the dark, little parking garage where delivery trucks would checkin. There were a few security guards standing guard at the gated entrance, closing the gate when the bus pulled in. It was a little dark in here, saved for a few lights above, and the ground was wet, water draining into the sewer grates. Kikyo got out and smiled, her excitement unable to be contained since this morning.

"Let's do this!"

Everyone else got out of the bus and followed her up the small staircase to get to the door where the manager of Yanmar was waiting. "Welcome back, everyone! I hope you all got enough sleep last night."

Kikyo smiled and nodded her head as her team followed behind her. "Yes, we did. And we ate well. The hotel gave each of us a free dinner entree for each night we're staying there."

"Is that right? Lucky you," he said with a smile and turned to open the door. They were brought into the stadium's storage area where they received all their deliveries for the many different things that they held here. It was a wide open room with a few desks and chairs but there were many boxes of all shapes and sizes kept here with dollies and carts and machines to help wheel these things wherever they needed to go.

"How is everything going for tonight?" Naraku asked, following behind the manager and Kikyo.

"Good. Very good. The harness is secure and ready. I have the same two men on that since they are most accustomed to the contraption. All the lights have been checked. Speakers. The sound has not been touched since your sound checks yesterday. The cleaners came a couple of hours ago to give this place a good clean down, from the main halls to the bathrooms to every single seat out there in the bleachers. The screens are all working. The smoke machines and the rockets with the butterflies are all working," the manager reported, wanting to reassure them that everything is taken cared of. A lot of work, time and money went into this show and everyone just wanted it to go off without a hitch. Not only would it look bad on Kikyo but it would also look bad on the stadium's reputation if something went wrong. The manager reached out and opened another door, walking through as the others followed him with Brady holding the door open for everyone.

"That's good," Naraku commented. "And the security?"

"They are already here being briefed in the management office. Everyone will have a headset on to communicate no matter where they are at in the stadium. I also have some for your men." They entered inside the main building with the stone pillars separating them from the outside where all the fans were, on the other side of the high wall.

"I have four of my men standing at the loading dock gates just to make sure no one tampers with our tour bus," Naraku said. "They will need some headsets. And Kikyo's three bodyguards will be backstage with us. If anyone by chance were to rush on stage somehow or if we needed to get Kikyo out of here fast, the three will be there."

The manager nodded as he led them through the circular hallway until they got to the tunnel that was closest to the stage side of the stadium. "These tunnels will have two men guarding it on this side. They'll be open on your side so you can just knock and the security will open the doors to let you out to use the bathroom or whatever you may need. All of the equipment and devices are backstage on one of the desks for your security team. I'll show you when we get there," he said, his voice echoing in the dark tunnel as they followed the light at the end, seeing the track and the green grass outside.

Everyone made their way, duffle bags strapped around themselves, across the track to head to the main stage. The huge LED screens on either side were as tall as a three or four story building, facing out at an angle so the sides of the stage could see too. The main LED screen in the center was huge, just as tall, but four times wider than the side ones. They all used the stairs on the side to get onto the main stage instead of going backstage.

"The VIP will be on the sides?" Shippo asked, looking at the sides of the stadium at the chairs that were closer to the edge.

"Yes. The first section of rows on either side of the stage is where the VIP will sit. I think there's about three-hundred-seventy-five VIP we're expecting?" the manager said thoughtfully.

"Yes," Akari interjected. "There's three-hundred-seventy-five ticket holders. It's a VIP package. They get the backstage pass, a meet and greet with Kikyo, a photo to take with her out here on stage and then a poster with her autograph to take home. The poster is of her with the entire group during the graffiti photoshoot."

"It was a lot to sign that many posters." Kikyo huffed, heading backstage with her hands on top of her head.

"They're expected to get here at 4:45," Naraku mentioned.

"Yes. The security knows to let the VIP tickets in. They will be escorted through the one tunnel at the opposite end of the stage, close to the entrance. I'll have all of the security on the track field to help keep them orderly as they make their way down this way," the manager said as he motioned with his hands out onto the field to show them what tunnel he was talking about. Then, they all turned and followed Kikyo backstage. People were bustling around, getting things ready for the night and speaking into headpieces, some already here early while the other crew would come an hour before the show. "We lock the front doors at five to keep everyone in and everyone else out. Once the VIP is ushered closer to the stage, then some security will start going back to their sections at the tunnel doors.

Naraku nodded his head. "How are you going to keep three-hundred-seventy-five people in check?"

The manager shrugged as they stopped to take in their surroundings. As tall as the LED screens was as tall as the backstage area. The lights above were on now to help with the preparation but the lights would be off the entire night during the performance. The only lights available would be the ones provided for each changing area and the smaller standing lights that helped to line the walking paths. There was a dressing room for the dancers and one just for Kikyo. All of her costumes and makeup and accessories were already in there, separated by acts and ready for quick changing. All of the dressing rooms were just four sheets held up by poles with lights within.

"The security will be able to handle it. They'll keep everyone out on the track and call everyone up in groups of twenty-five. That gives us fifteen groups in total to get through in seventy-five minutes. Each group has up to five minutes. They come up on this entrance," the manager pointed, everyone looking to the side of the backstage that everyone used to enter and leave. "They come up this side, come through the entire backstage area, come out in front of the opposite end where Kikyo will be out on the main stage to take photos with everyone in front of the main screen. The screen will have the cover of her album. She'll take photos with the individuals or the groups that they're in. And she'll have the gifts, correct?"

Akari nodded. "She'll have two of her assistants on either side of her. One helping to get the amount of people ready to take the photo. And one will be ushering them away and handing each of them their signed poster as they exit the opposite side of the stage that they started on. I believe Mike, Ben and Brady will be out there to help with crowd control too."

Kikyo nodded her head, checking her phone. "I have my photographer, Haru, coming. He'll be here by 4:30 with his assistants."

"Yes. The photos are uploaded real-time onto a website that's on the back of the VIP tickets. They can use their access code on the ticket to go and download their photos," Akari said.

"Security knows to let your photographer in," the manager assured. "Once the VIP leave the stage, there will be security on the opposite side escorting them out through the tunnel we want them to use. From there, the VIP are free to roam the inner stadium for the hour or so before the general ticket holders are allowed in. They can choose to find their seats or grab something to eat. Our food should be open by six when the front doors open and let all the guests in."

"This all sounds so exciting!" Kikyo said, moving in place excitedly. Naraku turned his critical eye on her.

"I don't want you tiring yourself out. You'll have to be out there with the VIP, standing up, for seventy-five minutes. Then, you'll have an hour before the show starts to sit, relax and get your hair and makeup done," he said, worried for her.

Kikyo shrugged with a smile. "Don't worry, Naraku. I'm used to all this standing and smiling. It's my job as a performer. I'll be okay."

The others moved towards the area that was their dressing rooms. Everything was setup with sheets draped from poles that were wheeled around to create the space they needed. Kikyo's dressing room was right behind the main screen since she had the least time to change between her songs. The dancer's dressing rooms were across of Kikyo's. The women all shared one rectangular dressing room that was made to be big enough for all eight of them, while the men had the dressing room right next to their's that was smaller for the four of them. They shared the same 'wall' or sheet that separated the men's from the women's dressing rooms. They all moved to their respective rooms, talking amongst themselves in excitement.

"What do you want us to do?" Inuyasha asked, watching his dancers head off to the dressing room to get ready. It was still too early to do anything, too early to start getting ready for the show.

"VIP comes in thirty minutes," Naraku said, checking his watch. "I want at least you and Kagome to be here. I'm sure there will be fans who will want to take photos with you two, so you need to be around. As for everyone else, they can go to the bathroom or wander around or stretch, whatever. I do want them around too just in case there are fans who want photos with all the dancers. But you and Kagome, I want here the most."

Inuyasha nodded his understanding and left Naraku with Kikyo to take care of. He went back towards the dressing room curtains, hearing all the conversations everyone was having about tonight's concert. He pulled back the curtain to walk into the women's side.

"Hey guys! Can you guys come over here?" he called to the men. Shippo and the others consented and made their way out of theirs and into the women's side of the dressing room. "Ok. We're about three hours early. VIP doesn't come until another thirty minutes. If you need to go to the bathroom or get something to eat again, or if you just want to walk or run around, do it now before the VIP get here. Once they're here, Naraku wants us around just in case the fans want to meet us as well. Kagome…" he called, seeing her attention on him, "You and I will need to be out here greeting fans. Naraku thinks that Blue Lightning will be wanted, so he wants us to be available throughout the entire seventy-five minutes for the VIP."

The others either gasped or groaned, either feeling sorry for the both of them or excited, a bit of both really. Kagome frowned, staring at Inuyasha. She didn't really know how to take all this information. If there was three-hundred-seventy-five fans coming to see them, up close and personal, she wasn't sure if she was ready for something like that. Being on social media and in the limelight at a concert was different from meeting someone up close and personal. Kagome sat, trying to steel herself for the inevitable. Sango looked down at Kagome, frowning.

"And after that… everyone needs to rotate through hair and makeup. Stretch out. Practice if you need to. And just get psyched up for tonight," Inuyasha said with a smirk. The others all agreed, excited for tonight's performance and pumping each other up. The men left the women's room and went next door to their's.

"Hey, Kagome," Sango said walking up to her. "You okay?" She looked down at the girl and could tell that something was wrong.

Kagome looked up, smiling encouragingly at Sango. "I'm fine, Sango."

Sango arched her eyebrow and went to sit next to her, the two of them sitting close to one of the 'walls' of the room as the other women went to the side of the room that had five chairs set up in front of lights and mirrors as their makeup stations. There were assistants there already talking with them, discussing how the girls wanted to get their hairs done. Kikyo already had her idea in mind and the assistants wanted to run them by the girls to see if they wanted to add anything that was feasible without deviating too far from what Kikyo wanted.

"Promise me you won't have a breakdown like what happened in Hawai'i?" Sango asked. Kagome whipped her head around, staring at her in shock. She smiled reassuringly at her. "Inuyasha didn't say anything. But I can only imagine that you're thinking about what happened back in Hawai'i. This is only your second concert. I would imagine you're still getting used to the fame and the limelight. I just… don't want you to feel like you can't open up with me." Sango reached out and grabbed her hand, giving it a tight squeeze. "If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here for you. I know we don't have the closest of relationships, but I do want our relationship to grow. Just know that I'm here if you need me."

Kagome smiled at Sango, truly appreciating the girl's friendship. She wanted a relationship with Sango too. After what happened that morning at Inuyasha's, well, more like their apartment, she was a little hesitant of getting too close to Sango. But she didn't blame Sango at all for her bluntness that morning, even though it did hurt a little. Sango just didn't understand her, and she couldn't blame the girl. Sango didn't know her enough to understand why she did the things she did. Kagome could only hope that their relationship would grow and get deeper over the coming weeks. She nodded her head and squeezed Sango's hand back.

"Thank you, Sango. Honestly, I'm just a little worried as to how fast and how big this 'Blue Lightning' thing became."

"Really? Why?"

Kagome shrugged as Sango released her hand, the two of them watching the others as they all giggled and talked amongst each other. "It's only been two weeks and already Inuyasha and I have done podcasts and radio shows. We've been getting so many calls and requests to be on shows or to teach classes and dance studios that, I mean, it's all great and everything." She truly was grateful, in a sense, that people were seeing and appreciating her talent as a dancer. This was what she had wanted. Right?

"But?"

Kagome looked at Sango, smiling as Sango waited for her to continue. "But I just don't know if this is what I really want. I never wanted to be a part of Kikyo's group and to become this huge star. That's what I feel like I've become."

"Because you have," Sango pointed out. "Listen, Kagome. Sometimes our dreams don't turn out exactly the way we envisioned them to. And that's okay. At least we still have our dreams that came true," she said, watching as Kagome seemed to be hearing her, taking encouragement. "Maybe your only goal was to be a part of a pop star's dance group. But now, your fame is starting to rise like a pop star's. And… I'm going to be honest with you, but I think you were a reason why Kikyo's fame shot up too."

Kagome was about to protest when Sango stopped her. "Honestly, Kagome. That viral video from Hawai'i only made Kikyo's views and fame shoot up. You were a new figure in her group and people wanted to know you, which meant they would follow Kikyo in order to follow you. I'm sure their love for you helped to grow their love for Kikyo, and vice versa. Yes, Kikyo already had a lot of fame. Enough to get her a concert overseas in the States to begin with. But since Hawai'i, she has been shooting to the top every time and staying there for weeks, months even. Now with that music video, people are seeing these two dancers and how they portray her song through art. I think it's all because of you and Inuyasha that she's seeing so much fame and support from fans. Both of you guys work with Kikyo, not against her. We're all a team."

"I know," Kagome said softly, watching everyone as they talked and dreamt about what tonight will look like. "Everyone is like family here." Inuyasha's words came back to her from yesterday. He had said that he would never leave the group to pursue bigger and better deals. His place was here, with his friends, with the people who he invested time, money and energy in. His loyalty was here. 'Where is mine?' She didn't have an answer for that.

"Listen," Sango said, catching her attention. "You wouldn't be where you are if it wasn't for Kikyo. And in a way Kikyo wouldn't be where she is if it wasn't for you. Think of it that way. We're all helping each other out. Maybe you might not have seen yourself become something like this, but it is what it is. The fans love you and they love Kikyo. There's no harm in 'Blue Lightning'. I think it's great that the fans see both your's and Inuyasha's talents. You two do have a spark between you too," she said with a tease, making Kagome arch her eyebrow at her and shake her head.

"We're not going to get into that," Kagome said. Their conversation had gone from helpful to teasing.

Sango gasped. "So there is something to get into!" she accused, catching that subtle hint.

Kagome giggled, shaking her head as she stood up. "I told you. We're not going to get into that." With that, she walked over to the others as Sango caught up to her, trying to get a little more out of Kagome.

The VIP guests were allowed entrance at exactly 4:45pm. The doors opened and the fans eagerly came in, all of them excited to meet Kikyo Hayashi in the flesh. As soon as they entered, there were security guards and barriers setup in the main hall entrance to keep people together and to keep them from wandering around aimlessly, at least until the front door closed. The VIP were led through the main hall entrance and through the tunnel under the bleachers that lead out into the stadium field. There were barriers along the track to keep the guests from running around the field, and to keep them in a group heading towards the main stage area that was across from them. The crowd grew louder and louder the closer they got to the stage and noticed Kikyo Hayashi standing out on the main stage, waving at them. Kikyo wore one of her famous signature outfits. She wore a pink, strapless mini dress that had a white tulle skirt underneath. The dress had dark pink and white butterflies along the bodice. She also had on white knee-high stockings with her black high-heel boots. This was the same outfit she had chosen for her finale tonight and the same one she wore in her photoshoot photos hanging outside. Her makeup was simple and she had her hair down with a pink butterfly headband to keep her hair out of her face. Behind her, the screen showed her album's design with Kikyo's name in beautiful, gold kanji.

Everyone began to scream and yell for Kikyo, waving at her enthusiastically, taking her picture from where they stood below on the track. Kikyo could only smile back and wave, excited to see them and appreciating their love and devotion. The security escorted the group to the edge of the stage where the stairs went up to the backstage. There was a barricade that stopped them from rushing on with three security guards in front of the barrier. There was another at the top of the stairs. There were also security spaced out backstage to keep the guests moving forward from one end to the other and out onto the main stage where Kikyo waited to take pictures with them and give them their parting gift. Naraku and Akari stood on stage, off to the side, along with Ben, Mike and Brady standing next to Kikyo's assistants.

The security at the barriers nodded at each other and spoke into their headsets, letting all the men know that they were allowing in the first twenty-five guests. They told the fans what they were doing and allowed only twenty-five of them through, closing the barriers behind the last one as the others had to stand and wait for their turn. As soon as the guests went up, they were sent into the backstage area where the curtains were pulled back to allow everyone outside to see what goes on backstage.

The twenty-five took in their surroundings with eager eyes, taking photos of anything and everything they wanted to, just to prove that they were backstage at Kikyo Hayashi's concert. They took in the super high ceilings that had all sorts of big and small lights, wires, sheets and curtains with walk spaces up there to help the workers move things around up there. They also looked around the backstage area at all the wires and boxes scattered all along the floor, sheets blocking off certain things. It was obviously a working environment. Though there wasn't a lot of people working now to accommodate the high traffic of the VIP guests for these next seventy-five minutes, there were still a few people there to continue to set everything up for tonight. The fans walked towards the middle of the entire stage to see this huge curtain area where there was a lot of talking and they all began to scream.

"Blue Lightning!" Everyone walked faster towards Inuyasha and Kagome who stood in front of their dressing rooms, just as the others began to come out upon hearing the screams. It was spotlight time. Everyone had on their best smiles as the fans came up to Inuyasha and Kagome first, all of them greeting the two by their new nickname. Blue Lightning. They wanted to take photos with the two, who agreed, and while they were taking photos with them, the other fans had to wait their turn and so they spent it with the other dancers, taking photos with them and getting their autographs. One by one, or in groups if they were all friends together, Inuyasha and Kagome posed for selfies with the fans. They only had on their sweats and both of their hairs were up in ponytails to help make it easier for hair and makeup later. But the fans could care less what they wore. The fact that they were meeting, in person, Blue Lightning was enough for them. They talked with Inuyasha and Kagome, asking the main question the world seemed to want to know. 'Are the two of you dating?' When they both denied it, that only led to either 'Will you date me?' or 'You two should date each other.' It went either way with the fans. Some were so in love with an individual in the dance group that they would throw themselves at them, crying, needing some of the security and the others to help peel the over zealous fan off their idol. Some wanted to exchange numbers while others were too shy to even say 'hi'. There was a mix of all sorts of people in the first group, which only helped to prepare them for the other fourteen groups.

The security had to help usher the fans forward since none was moving, wanting to stay with Blue Lightning and keep asking them questions about their relationship together. But the line had to keep moving. Every group had about five minutes on the stage before the next group was brought up to help keep the flow going so that the stage would be cleared out in time. The security helped to move along the fans, deciding when enough was enough. Their headsets let them all know the time and how busy each area of the stage was to help with the flow of movement. As soon as the fans left the dancers, they were told to walk towards the opposite end of the stage where they would come around and out onto the main stage. There, they would be even more excited and amped up to meet the famous pop star, Kikyo Hayashi. The security helped to keep everyone in an orderly fashion, stopping them at a certain point on the stage to allow for the photographer to get photos of the fans with Kikyo and the backdrop of her album behind them. Everyone was respective of each other's desire to meet Kikyo and take a photo with her. The security would allow the next fan to have access to her and they would spend a little time talking, introducing themselves to her and then telling her how much they loved her and her music. Then, another security would have to urge them to head off the stage, their time was up, and the other assistant would be handing out the autographed posters on their way off. They would exit the stage at the opposite end of those coming on and go through the tunnel on their side of the stage to keep everyone separated and to prevent a fan from jumping back into the line. Once they walked through the tunnel, they were able to go to their seats and watch the events play out on stage or walk around the halls for the next two hours until the show started.

Group by group, in every five minute increments, new fans came onto the stage to meet the dancers and the singer. From backstage to the main the stage, there was excitement and screams as the fans got what they wanted. Kagome was amazed at how many people were excited to see her. She couldn't believe all the many faces that greeted her, names that she would never remember, faces that were all just a blur. She was blinded by the selfies and in a such a whirl as to how many people touched her or got close to her to take photos. She was even shocked as to some of their questions, from asking about her relationship with Inuyasha to some even asking her out on a date and wanting her number. It was all overwhelming, surreal and humbling. She could only go into pilot mode and put on the facade while inwardly, she was overwhelmed. This was becoming her life. All these people who knew her, who took photos with her and would share those with their friends and so on. This was her new life now, and she couldn't believe that she got what she never wanted but was slowly starting to accept. Although she was shocked and overwhelmed, the fan's excitement only fed her own. She was excited too. To hear of their stories on how they fell in love with Kikyo's music after they saw the way she and Inuyasha danced together, how they loved the way she danced and how she has so much emotion when she dances. To hear their compliments and the way they saw her and her style of dancing, it was all humbling. She was grateful and thanked every one of them. This life, this life she never thought she would have, she was starting to accept and like it, thanks to the man standing next to her.

Inuyasha stood by her side the whole time, a lot of the women going up to him and wanting just a photo with him. Now that they knew he was still single, many of them tried to get his information or tried to give theirs to him. He took it, so as not to be rude to a fan, and stuffed it all in his back pocket. Kagome wondered if he was really going to call them back. A lot of the men that came up to her were more shy and respectful, not giving her their numbers but still asking for hers, just in case they had a chance. Even the other dancers had their share of 'crazy' fans who wanted to date them or who just spent too much time with them until the security had to come in and separate the fans from the dancers.

Seventy-five minutes, fifteen groups and three-hundred-seventy-five fans later… all the VIP were cleared out and the field area was closed. The fans were either at their seats or wandering around the inner halls, and the front doors were now opened to the general ticket holders. The performers were now alone backstage as more crew and workers came onto the stage, their shift now starting as the show was now an hour away.

"Well… that was fun," Kikyo said with a smile, putting her hair up in a bun. "I need a break."

Naraku frowned. "Do you need anything? Coffee?"

Kikyo shrugged and waved her hand over her head as she walked away from him to head backstage. "No. I'll be okay. Gotta get ready." That said, she came around the screen and saw some of the others still standing outside the dressing room area, talking. Some of them were missing and she only assumed that they were currently getting ready behind the sheets.

"You guys okay?" Kikyo asked, coming over to them.

Inuyasha nodded as she came up to them. "We're good. That was a lot of people."

Kikyo blew out air, placing her hands on top of her head. "Yeah, it was. But really, that was nothing compared to 50,000 people." The others laughed in agreement as they excused themselves and headed back into their dressing rooms. Only Inuyasha and Kikyo remained outside.

"How did it go?" Kikyo asked him. Inuyasha looked at her, seeing her intense stare and cocked eyebrow.

"It went fine."

"The two of you had a lot of traffic I heard."

Inuyasha crossed his arms, sensing Kikyo's agitation. "All of us did."

"You know what I'm talking about."

"Blue Lightning."

Kikyo nodded her head with a knowing smirk. "I knew you and Kagome would get a lot of fan time. A lot of them are here to see the two of you dance."

"Jealous?"

Kikyo gave him and look and shooed her hand at him. "I'm not jealous. I've always known how talented you are as a dancer and a choreographer. And everyone knows that you're mine, so what's to be jealous about?"

"Yours?" he asked, stunned that she would say something like that.

"Yes, mine. I own you," she said, smiling at him, before walking across the way towards her dressing room. Inuyasha growled, clenching his fists at his sides, watching as she walked away, and then followed her. She pulled back the curtain and stepped in, but a few moments later, so did Inuyasha.

"Say that again," he dared her.

Kikyo turned, seeing Inuyasha pissed off, and turned her back on him, smiling to herself. "You know what I mean."

"No, I don't," Inuyasha growled out. "You never said anything like that to me before. You think you own me?"

Kikyo's hair and makeup crew excused themselves, leaving the room and waiting outside. She went up to her chair and shrugged. "I do own you, Inuyasha. I was the one who made you into 'Blue Lightning'. I was the one who gave you a job, to be the famous choreographer that you are now and to show the world your talents and skills. If it wasn't for the platform I provided… you would be nothing. I made you to who you are today."

"No, Kikyo," Inuyasha said, stalking up behind her. "You didn't make me. I made you." She looked at his reflection in the mirror, watching as he came closer. Her heartbeat grew faster as she watched his golden eyes, so intense and on fire, stare at her in the mirror. She could feel her body getting turned on at the mere sight of him, her body grew hotter and her palms got sweaty. "Don't you ever forget who was it that helped you to get to where you are today. If it wasn't for me and Sango and Miroku, you would be nothing."

Kikyo could feel his intense anger as he came up behind her and her body shook. She turned around and flung herself at him, wrapping her arms around his neck, her hands at the back of his head to keep him steady. She brought her lips up to meet his. But Inuyasha was faster. He turned his head from her so that she kissed his neck instead, but she didn't care. Her body was too turned on.

"Come on, Inuyasha," she whispered, her hot breath against his neck, rubbing up against him. "I need you." Her tongue came out to lick at his neck and she brought one leg up to wrap around his hips. Inuyasha reached up, grabbing both of her wrists, holding her still as he stepped back and her leg went back down to the ground.

"What the hell is your problem?" he asked her, pissed off.

Kikyo smirked at him, her wrists still caught in his hold, but her body moving forward towards him. He pulled her hands down and around her back, but still she was able to bring her body up against his, rubbing her breasts against him. "Don't you remember how we used to go at it before? It was always… so intense. So full of emotion. I need you," she said, bringing her lips up to his face again.

Inuyasha turned his face, lifting up his chin. "Kikyo, I told you. This thing between us is done. It was done a long time ago."

"No! You decided we were done when Kagome came around. Now you want to just throw me aside and go for her!" she accused him.

"There was never a 'we', Kikyo," he said, so over this pointless argument. "All I needed from you was to get the edge off. And you needed the same from me. There was nothing else between us. You need to accept that already. Stop being so jealous!"

Kikyo yanked her wrists out of his grip and he let go, not wanting to hurt her. She turned from him, fixing her hair as she looked at him in the mirror, seething with anger and pent up sexual frustration. "I'm not jealous of anyone. Get out!"

Inuyasha felt angry, frustrated and helpless. Kikyo was just making things out to be bigger than what they really are. She wasn't facing reality and in times like this, when everything was so big and so surreal from every day life, she was high off of her emotions and that's what always caused 'them' to happen. Even with her and Naraku. Those moments were always fueled by the high that came from a performance, a concert, whatever it was that brought them to that edge of pure bliss. They found other means of prolonging that high with each other's bodies, and he was done with that. He had been done with that for a long time with her, especially after he found out what Naraku had done, and yet she still chose to screw him, knowing what he had done. It disgusted him. But it wasn't his business. Whatever Kikyo wanted to do with her life, whoever she wanted to screw, was all up to her. But now, she was making things worse between them, so much so that their business relationship wasn't going to work out anymore if she kept this up.

"You need a reality check, Kikyo," Inuyasha said, seething with anger. "I never had any feelings for you. Neither does Naraku. If you need someone screw, screw him. But don't ever disrespect me like that again. I'm your friend. I'm not here for the money or the fame. I can leave whenever the hell I want. I don't need your lousy money or your lousy friendship if you're going to act like this! I'm sick of it!" he said, turning around and storming out. He had it! He was done babying her and slowly trying to get her to see what they had together was some figment of her imagination. He was done being nice. If she was going to be jealous and tell him that she owned him, that he would be nothing if it wasn't for her, the hell with her. The hell with this whole bloody concert!

Inuyasha pushed back the curtain of her dressing room and stormed out, causing her hair and makeup crew to scramble out of his way. He could care less what the hell anyone told him. He wasn't going to take this from her. And on a night like this? Who the hell did she think she is?

Kagome walked out of the dressing room, going to look for Shippo, and stopped. She noticed Inuyasha walking across the way through all the workers backstage, making a bee line for the side of the stage. It looked like he was going somewhere.

"Inuyasha!" He didn't even turn to look at her. He looked angry and that worried her. Kagome looked around, seeing everyone working and going about their business, doing their jobs. She decided to follow him and quickly made her way to catch up to him. He exited the curtains and she rushed to make sure that she wouldn't lose sight of him now that he was outside. Hurrying towards the curtain, she heard Sango call her.

"Kagome! Where are you going?!"

"I'll be back!" she promised, and pulled back the curtain to exit.

The sun had already set, the sky turning grey with a little light left, but the stadium lights had already been turned on to help the guests find their seats. Kikyo had wanted the lights to be pink too, so there was a mixture of pink and white lights in the main stadium. There was even a spotlight anchored behind the stage that shone a pink butterfly down on the center of the field while Kikyo's album played, echoing throughout the stadium. Kagome noticed Inuyasha was already halfway towards the tunnel and she hurried to catch up to him. She went down the stairs where the security turned to her.

"Let me through." They didn't ask her anything but let her through, moving the barricades aside. Kagome hurried through and ran across the track to catch up to him.

"Inuyasha!" Still, he didn't turn around at her call. She knew he heard her and that worried her even more.

The fans seemed to have noticed that the two of them were on the field now as they began to shout 'Blue Lightning!' The ones closer to the side of the stage where she and Inuyasha were could make them out easier and were out of their seats, screaming for them. Kagome paid them no mind as she caught up to Inuyasha just as he entered the tunnel.

"Hey!" she called out, but he still kept going. She grabbed his arm and pulled him back to stop. He obliged. "What the hell is your problem? What happened?" she asked, catching her breath.

Inuyasha turned around and glared at her, pissed off. "I'm done. To hell with this concert!" He turned away from her and kept walking towards the doors. Only a single file of lights lit up the tunnels, making it dark and shadowy.

"Inuyasha! What happened? Why are you acting like this?" She followed him, trying to figure out what was wrong. They all just finished the meet and greets with the VIP guests and now he was in a mood. Not just a mood but a mood that seemed like he was quitting and leaving them high and dry right before the concert.

"Doesn't matter. Go ask Kikyo. That wench thinks she can do this on her own! Then by all means! I'm done!"

Kagome stopped, hearing the venom in his voice. Inuyasha was pissed. She had never seen him like this or heard him talk like this before. She could almost feel his rage radiating off him. Whatever happened between him and Kikyo, it must've been enough to now threaten their friendship. Just in the airport yesterday it sounded like Inuyasha would never leave this group. Now, it looked like he was doing just that. 'What the hell happened?'

"Inuyasha!" He didn't stop so she ran ahead of him and stood in front of him, making him come to a stop in the middle of the tunnel. "Talk to me! What happened!"

"Doesn't matter."

"The hell it does!" she said, raising her voice, their voices echoing in the tunnel. Thank goodness for the music blaring outside. Hopefully no one could hear them.

"Whatever happened, it pissed you off enough to walk out on the concert. Is that what you're doing?"

Inuyasha turned his face from her, but she could still see anger. His chest was heaving and he looked like he wanted to hit something, let out some steam.

"You told me at the airport that you never had any desire to leave the group. That everyone here was like family to you. What happened to that?"

Inuyasha's ears flicked, but he still didn't look at her. "Are you leaving now? Are you gonna walk out and abandon us an hour before the performance?"

"Screw you, Kagome," he said, glaring at her. His eyes were blazing fire at her and she held her ground, getting angry back at his attitude.

"Don't you dare turn this around on me," she said, pointing a finger at him. He was mere inches from her, the two of them squaring off together. If he needed to vent his frustration out on her, then so be it. She would be his punching bag. But she would get him to go back onto that stage and do his damn job. "Tell me what happened."

Inuyasha stared at Kagome, this woman standing up to him. Kagome. The woman who was always shy and humble, always secretive and quiet, the woman who held his heart… was standing up to him. Inuyasha growled, knowing he could never hurt her, but needing to hit something. He turned and stomped towards the wall, punching the brick wall of the tunnel, making a sound that echoed through the tunnel as a crack in the wall creeped up and down from where his fist impacted against the wall. 'Damn it!' he thought, cursing Kikyo for being so selfish and jealous. He took deep breaths, needing to calm himself down before he did do something rash like Kagome said. It wasn't like him to just abandon the others, to abandon his dancers, his team, his friends. She was right. He was abandoning everyone because he was so damn pissed off at Kikyo, and he was doing it without even thinking about the consequences. They were an hour away from the performance. He needed to get his head together.

He stilled, feeling Kagome's hand on his back, between his shoulder blades. Just her touch alone calmed him, his breath slowing down as his demon blood began to calm down.

Kagome looked at the cracks in the wall, thankful that nothing had come falling down on them. His strength was enormous, that she could only assume as he was a half-demon and she had seen the strength of a full-blooded demon before. Her eyes took in the back of his head, feeling his body slowly start to relax. She frowned and wrapped her arms around him, bringing her body against his, placing her cheek against his back. "Tell me what's wrong," she whispered, not wanting him to be angry anymore. Not wanting to fight with him.

Inuyasha felt her arms come around him and his entire body came alive, feeling hers against his. He turned around, forcing her to release her hold on him, but he reached for her with both his arms and pulled her into him, resting his head on top of hers. He felt her relax back into him, wrapping her arms around him, giving him comfort that he never thought would ever feel this good.

"Kagome…"

"Tell me, Yasha."

Inuyasha frowned, not wanting to get upset again, but reliving the memories for her sake. "Kikyo was just being a wench."

"What did she say?"

He took a breath and told her. "Kikyo is jealous at the fact that you and I maybe had more fans who wanted to see Blue Lightning rather than her. She's jealous and she's not owning up to it. She thinks she owns me. She told me flat out that she owns me, that I would be nothing if it wasn't for her, that I was only the famous choreographer because she provided the platform for me." He could feel his anger coming on again and felt Kagome squeeze him tighter.

"I'm sorry she said all those things. I'm sure she's just stressed after all that VIP stuff."

"No. She's jealous. She's jealous of you and I."

Kagome pulled back, her eyes wide as she stared at him. "What?"

"She's jealous that you and I got a lot of the fan's attention. She's jealous of Blue Lightning. And… she's jealous of my feelings for you."

Kagome shook her head slowly, her eyes in disbelief. 'No.' She couldn't believe that the very thing she didn't want was happening. She didn't want to come between anyone or to break up anyone's relationship together. And she definitely didn't want to ruin whatever Inuyasha had with Kikyo. They were both her boss and they were both fighting each other because of her. "Inuyasha… this was exactly what I didn't want." She stepped back from him, her hands dropping to her sides, making him let her go. He watched her as she kept her head down, a frown stealing her face. "I never wanted to come between you and Kikyo. I know that you two have a friendship and a relationship that I don't know anything about. I don't know the past that you two have together and I never wanted to cause this friction between the two of you." And now Kikyo knew that Inuyasha had feelings for her. How did she know? Did he tell her?

Inuyasha wrapped his arms around Kagome and brought her back against him, moving them back against the wall so that he could lean his back against it. He just held her, needing to feel connected to her for a moment. Her scent and her touch helped to calm him down. Now that she had stopped him from doing something rash and that he could think clearly now, he could only think of her and wanting to stay because of Kagome.

"Kagome, listen to me." Her hands stayed at her sides and her body was rigid against his, but she didn't move away from him, which pleased him. He just held her, trying to get her to understand. "Kikyo knew this would happen. So did Naraku and Akari. Kikyo knows how talented I am, and how talented you are too. She's not blind to see how good we are as dancers, and she's not blind to see that we're perfect dance partners for each other." He was careful to use the word 'dance' partners. "That was why she was giving us a hard time about having the choreography in her music video at all. She was jealous, and she still is now that her fans are now in love with Blue Lightning. She's going to have to get over it if she wants us to stay with her."

"But… you said you wouldn't leave the group," Kagome said softly, her cheek pressed against his chest.

"Not unless she gives me a good reason to. If she can't respect me as her choreographer and as one of her dancers, if she blurs the line between friendship and business like that again, I'm done. If she was my friend, she would be happy for me and my success, the same way that I am happy for her. Right now, she's being jealous and bitter. That's not the kind of friend I want or need in my life. And I'm only sticking around because she is my friend. For now at least."

Kagome listened to his words and could understand why he was so angry at her and why Kikyo was so jealous about Blue Lightning. She didn't understand the relationship he had with Kikyo, but she knew it was because of that relationship that caused this friction now with Blue Lightning. Something deeper than friendship, at least she saw it on Kikyo's end. But Inuyasha… he never seemed to give off that vibe that he was in love with Kikyo or that he had any interest in her. It was all Kikyo having interest in him. Is that why she was jealous? Kikyo would be happy for Inuyasha if it was just him getting all this attention for being such a great and wonderful dancer and choreographer. But because she was his dance partner, because she was getting the attention alongside Inuyasha and because people kept asking about their relationship as a couple, Kikyo was jealous. 'Kikyo loves him.' Kagome couldn't get between them if there was something there, whatever it was. He needed to figure it out with her and the two needed to work it out, at least for the sake of working together.

Kagome placed her hands on his chest and pushed back, looking up at him, forcing herself to smile. "Dance with me."

Inuyasha blinked, staring down at her. "Now?"

She giggled. "No, silly. Dance with me. Don't leave. Whatever happened between you and Kikyo, just forget about it and dance. Dancing helps me to release my emotions. No matter what I'm feeling at the time or what I might be going through in my life… dancing helps to clear my mind and I live just for that moment." She turned her head to look outside at the stage ahead. "For that one moment… I feel alive. Nothing else matters. It's just the music and my body." Kagome turned to look back up at him, smiling. "Dance with me."

Inuyasha smiled, nodding his head. Her blue eyes were so beautiful, even here in the dim light of the tunnel, he could see her so clearly. She was so beautiful to him. She was the one who stopped him from leaving and for that, he would forever be grateful. He would've let so many people down, especially his best friend who was proposing tonight.

"Thanks, Kagome." He brought his right hand around to place on her cheek, feeling the softness of her skin. This woman. She didn't see her worth to him.

Kagome smiled and steeled her heart, stepping back from him, trying to cheer herself up. "Come on. We need to get ready. Everyone is expecting a grand finale," she said, wiggling her eyebrows at him before turning to head back to the stage. She heard Inuyasha push off the wall and follow her, the two of them heading out of the tunnel, a frown stealing Kagome's face.

-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-

"Please take your seats as the show is about to begin!"

The announcer's voice rang through the stadium, causing an uproar in the bleachers as all the fans cheered, excited to be able to finally watch their idol, Kikyo Hayashi, perform. Fifty-thousand people packed the stadium. There were guests wandering the inner halls, going to the bathroom or grabbing their last bite to eat before the show started. Everyone hurried back upstairs to their seats where they waited a few more minutes, the performers giving everyone a chance to take their seats, before the show began.

"Ready?" Naraku asked Kikyo, seeing her nod. She was beaming from ear to ear, dressed in a puffed up, pink jacket with white pants and black heeled boots. She was chic and classy but still calling attention with that jacket of hers. Her hair was up in a ponytail and she had pink lip gloss on with pink glitter eyeshadow. Her classic signature look. Kikyo rocked from side to side, shaking her hands out at her sides, getting herself ready and in the right state of mind.

The two handlers were at her side, strapping her into the harness with the butterfly wings at her back. They tugged at the straps, clipping and unclipping, tugging again to make sure that everything was secure and that she wouldn't fall.

"You okay?" Naraku asked, holding her pink microphone for her.

Kikyo nodded, smiling. "I wish I could be there to watch Miroku's proposal."

Naraku shrugged, looking down. From their height, they were above the back of the main stage, a few feet in front of the screen. They could barely see the album artwork on the screen from this angle, at this height. "We might be able to see a little bit of it from here." Kikyo looked down cautiously as the men continued to talk amongst each other, making sure that she was safe and secure, ready to go. All she had to do was take a step off backwards and she would be slowly let down. Since the harness had two wires, it turned her in a circle really slowly during her descent, allowing everyone to see the wings at her back as she sang coming down.

"I can't wait," she said, unable to look down any longer. The height was giving her butterflies and making her nervous.

Miroku looked at Inuyasha, holding the microphone in his hand. "This is it." He could feel his nerves coming on, his heart beating faster and his palms getting sweaty. This was it. The moment he was waiting for. Miroku and Inuyasha stood a few ways behind the others on their side of the stage, waiting for their cue.

Inuyasha smiled, sensing and seeing his friend's nervousness. He placed his hand on Miroku's shoulder and gave him a squeeze. "You go out there and ask her to be your bride."

Miroku's eyes watered, his bottom lip trembling, but he sniffed and quickly blinked them away. Inuyasha was his best friend. They had been together since the beginning, since before Kikyo became famous. They knew each other when all four of them were nothing. And back then, when he first met Sango at the Fujimoto's charity event, he was dumbstruck and head over heels in love with her. It's been four years too long, but he finally wanted to make it official with Sango. He wanted her to be his bride, forever.

"Thanks, Inuyasha. You're a good friend." Inuyasha smiled, squeezing his shoulder one last time, before letting go. The two of them looked ahead.

Everyone was dressed in their opening costume. The men wore black cargo pants with a metallic gold stripe going down each side of the legs. They had on a white tank top, and Inuyasha and Shippo's hair were up in a ponytail. They had on white shoes with metallic gold laces. The women matched the men in that they wore black sweatpants with metallic gold and white butterflies going up on one leg. They had on a metallic gold crop top shirt and all their hairs were up in ponytails. They all had dark, smoky eyes, with black lip gloss and the same matching shoes as the men. There were six of them on each side of the stage. Sango and Kagome were standing behind the screens, waiting for the show to start while staring out at the crowd, taking it all in.

"Alright. Show time," one of the crew members said, standing next to the women behind the screen. The man's eyes went to Miroku and he nodded at his cue. Miroku walked forward, going to stand next to Sango. She looked up at him with curiosity and wonder.

"Trust me?" he asked, opening his hand for her to take.

Sango looked at him for a moment, trying to read what he was trying to say. But she trusted him. She smiled and nodded her head, hesitantly placing her hand in his as he intertwined their fingers together. He pulled her with him and tugged her out in front of the screen, and on cue, the spotlight was shown on their figures as they came out. Miroku set an easy jog and Sango fell step in with him, oblivious as to what was going on and a little nervous as to what he was doing. The cameras zoomed in on their figures as they came out further onto the stage.

The crowd erupted into cheers as they saw Miroku and Sango run out on stage with smiles. Sango, true to her professionalism, smiled and waved at the fans, putting on a show even though she had no idea what was going on. She squeezed Miroku's hand tighter but he ignored her, hoping she would trust him in this and hoping beyond hope that she would accept his proposal. Miroku took them to the front of the main stage where the pink butterfly light shone down on the stage, the spotlight still remaining on them.

"Good evening, everyone!" he said, bowing out to everyone as Sango followed his lead hand in hand. The crowd cheered for them again, their excitement level growing. "Thank you all for coming tonight! We are all so excited to be here, in Osaka, performing for all of our fans. I just wanted to extend a warm welcome to everyone, on behalf of Kikyo and the dancers. And I also just wanted to thank everyone for coming. I hope that you enjoy the show!"

The crowd went wild, thinking that Kikyo would now come on, but after a beat, Miroku smiled and brought the microphone back up to his mouth.

"But before we start the show… I have a little surprise for Sango." Some in the crowd began to cheer while others 'awww'ed for them. Miroku turned to Sango, still holding her hand, looking at her and seeing his whole world in front of him, his heart beating wildly in his chest. Her eyes were wide and confused, but the smile on her face was pure enjoyment and wonder, trying to figure out what was going on.

"Sango, you and I have been together for as long as we have known each other. I remember the first night I met you at an event. You were the only woman I saw in the room." The crowd 'awww'ed for him but Sango could only freeze, biting her bottom lip, touched and shocked as to how intimate he was talking to her in front of 50,000 people. Sango glanced back to see everyone had come out on stage, still darkened in the shadows since only the spotlight and the pink butterfly light was the only thing lighting them up. But she could see them and everyone was watching, making her wonder if they all knew that Miroku was going to do something like this.

Miroku squeezed her hand, catching her attention back to him. "Since then, you have become my best friend. You know me better than I know myself. You love me more than I deserve." Sango's bottom lip began to tremble and she shifted on her feet, uneasy with his deep, loving words, putting her on the spot. "I fell in love with you then, and I am more in love with you now. I want you and I to grow in our love together for all of our years to come."

Miroku let go of her hand, reaching into his pocket to pull out a small, velvet box. One of the cameras zoomed in on the box and the entire crowd jumped to their feet, cheering him on and hugging one another, surprised to be witnessing something like this. Sango's eyes widened, her hands flying to her mouth as Miroku went down to one knee, using his hand with the microphone to open the box. She began to laugh, or what was a mix between a laugh and a cry, so taken aback by the whole thing she just couldn't believe it.

"Sango, I loved you then, I love you now and I will love you forever more. Will you love me forever more and do me the honor of being my wife?"

Without missing a beat, Sango nodded her head, placing her hands on her cheeks, smiling from ear to ear. "Yes!" she said. She couldn't stop the tears even though she knew it would ruin her makeup. Miroku beamed proudly, his face lighting up that she accepted him. The crowd went wild, cheering for the both of them, as he placed the microphone down and took the ring out. Sango extended her left hand, laughing as it was shaking with so much emotions that she couldn't contain. Miroku slid the ring on her finger and grabbed the microphone as he stood, wrapping his arms around her. The crew had turned off his microphone as the two of them shared a deep and passionate kiss, the cameras capturing their special moment from beginning to end.

The others were all cheering, looking at one another in shock and surprise, no one knowing that this was a part of the show. This had not been a part of their weeks of practice. Everyone was shocked but also happy and so excited for Miroku and Sango, jumping up and down in the shadows. Miroku pulled out a tissue just in case Sango would cry, and tried his best to clean up her makeup while he had the time. The spotlight suddenly went out on him, leaving them standing in the pink light and the back track began to play.

The crowd went wild, hearing Kikyo's song starting with the beat, flooding their veins with excitement that the show was going to begin after that dramatic opening. Kikyo's voice boomed through the stadium as she began to descend from above, slowly spinning to reveal her butterfly wings. The roars erupted as the crowd sang along with Kikyo, dancing to the beat as they watched her grand entrance.

"I love you," Miroku said with a smile as he grabbed her hand and kissed her fingers. "You look beautiful."

Sango sniffed, her eyes glowing with so much joy and adrenaline after all that excitement. "I love you too!"

Miroku smiled and pulled her with him, the two of them running back to the spot Kikyo was supposed to land. "Just like we practiced," he told her so that she could hear, and she nodded her understanding. Miroku let go of Sango's hand so she could go to her side of the stage while he went to his, handing off the microphone to one of the crew waiting to receive it. The others all gave him quick congratulations but the celebration had to wait. Miroku waved at them in thanks before he went to his spot on stage, standing across of Sango, waiting for Kikyo to drop down between the two of them. She did a few moments later and they had only a few seconds to unclip her from the harness, practicing many times the days and nights before. Once they got her out, Kikyo continued on with the show, walking forward in time with the beat. The main camera was focused on her and played on the main screen behind her. The dancers all came out to their cues, making their way next to Miroku and Sango to form a line behind Kikyo as they all danced in sync together. The crowd went wild, everyone cheering for Kikyo, for the performers and some even shouting out 'Blue Lightning'.

They all danced three songs and then Kikyo headed off backstage while the dancers remained on, only having the back track playing instrumental. The crowd sang along to the instrumental version of Kikyo's song as they cheered on the dancers.

Kikyo ran behind the main screen and into her dressing room, held open by one of her assistants. "Time?"

"Eighty-five seconds," a woman said at the entrance as she close the sheet behind her.

Kikyo nodded as she ran to stand in front of her mirror and two of the women got to work with her. One was at her feet unzipping her boots while the other unzipped her jacket, both working at opposite ends of her body. She moved her body whenever she needed to help the women undress her. Naraku appeared and held a water bottle with a straw to her lips.

"Good job so far."

Kikyo took the drink, taking a few sips through the straw before she moved her head away. "Thanks. The crowd is really loving it."

"I don't think I've ever seen or heard anything like this. This is a lot of people cheering for you."

She was down in her bra and panty, shrugging. "They're not just cheering for me. They're cheering for Blue Lightning too. Can't you hear them?"

Naraku arched his eyebrow, crossing his arms while still holding her water. "Are you jealous?"

Kikyo glared at him as she stepped into her next costume, a dress. One assistant was taking out her ponytail and combing her hair out as fast as she could, heedless of the pain it might cause. Kikyo didn't care, so long as she looked good before she got out there. "I'm not jealous."

Naraku smirked. "You are," he accused. He could sense that in her. She didn't like the fact that Inuyasha and Kagome were getting so much attention at her concert. He couldn't blame her, but still, they all knew that this was going to happen after the release of the music video. But she still couldn't come to terms with it. "What is it?"

"What?!" she asked him, irritated with him. "Time?!"

"Forty seconds," the woman at the 'door' said.

"What is it?" Naraku continued, clearly amused at the whole situation. "The fact that Blue Lightning is stealing your thunder? Or the fact that Kagome is stealing Inuyasha from you?"

Kikyo turned to glare at him as her assistants zipped up her dress and fixed her hair, spraying hair spray all over. "Shut your mouth, Naraku. I'm not in the mood to take any shit from you right now."

Naraku placed his hands up in surrender. "Touchy, touchy. Whatever." He left her alone to stew in her own thoughts as he walked out of her dressing room.

Kikyo finished up her wardrobe change and with a quick makeup retouch, she was out the 'door' and grabbing her microphone from a worker before she walked out on her cue, starting the next song. Just as the next song came on, six of the twelve dancers began to run off stage, heading out the same way they came in, while the others kept dancing to the new song.

Kagome followed the girls as they all headed to the dressing room, but broke off from them as she ran up to Inuyasha before he got to the 'door'. "Hey!" she said, grabbing his arm and stopping him. "You okay?"

Inuyasha smiled at her, nodding his head. "I feel better now. Nothing better than to dance it out, right?" He smiled and she let him go, smiling as he turned and went into the men's dressing room with a little hop in his step. Shippo winked at her before he too went in and changed into their next outfit. She did the same with the women.

"Oh my gosh! I can't believe Miroku proposed to Sango in front of 50,000 people!" Kokoro said as one of the assistants helped her out of her pants while she tore off her shirt. "I mean… to do something like that?" Kagome smiled as she walked in, listening to the conversation as she began to strip her own with the help of one of the assistants.

"And he didn't tell anybody!" Mai accused, someone helping her out of her outfit too.

There was four of them in here for now so they could all stand in front of one of the five mirrors as an assistant, a costume crew member, helped them to change. They had about three minutes to change and be out there, ready on the sides for their cue.

"I'm sure he told someone. He at least told Kikyo and Naraku since it was a part of the show," Shiori said in his defense, smiling at all the excitement that has happened so far. From the proposal to the ongoing concert, everyone was just filled with adrenaline, joy and excitement.

"I think he told Inuyasha too," Kagome said. No way Inuyasha didn't know what his best friend was about to do tonight. He had to have known. He was the choreographer of the whole show. And still, to think about what happened earlier between Inuyasha and Kikyo, and to think that he could've missed it if he had really left. Kagome shook the thoughts off as the next dress was placed above her head, waiting for her to put her arms up. She obliged, getting into the white dress while the assistant moved down to her feet, tapping on her shin to get her to lift up her leg. She got her dress on and smoothed out on her body while lifting up her legs and stepping into the gold tulle skirt which the assistant brought up to sit on her hips. She looked at herself in the mirror. The dress had puffy shoulders with a low V at her cleavage. All dancers were required to wear booty shorts, just in case any slip ups may happen, and with this dress, from their experience, they knew that their cooch was bound to be exposed during a number of moves in the next four dances they had in this. Thank goodness for booty shorts.

"One minute," someone at the doorway said.

As the assistant helped to straighten out her dress over her tulle, she worked on her hair, taking off her ponytail and combing out her blue tresses. 'Hmmm… I need to touch it up,' she thought absentmindedly, going through the motions. She loved the fast pace of a concert, all the change overs and the outfit changes. Everything was fast pace and by the time she knew it, the two hour concert was over.

The assistant came around to help retouch her makeup and dab at her sweat before the woman at the door called 'time' and everyone hurried out. They came out just as the boys came out too and they all went to their respective sides of the stage. Inuyasha and Kagome along with Kokoro went to the same side, listening to Kikyo sing, waiting.

"His proposal was so sweet," Kokoro said dreamily.

Kagome giggled, rubbing her hand on Kokoro's back. "Don't worry, Kokoro. You'll get yours one day." Kokoro's eyes brightened and she giggled with Kagome as they waited for their cue. Once they heard it, the six of them came out slowly as the back track slowed down to instrumental, giving the dancers a little bit of time to change over while also allowing Kikyo to catch her breath and address her fans.

"Thank you, everyone, for coming tonight! I hope you've enjoyed the show so far!" The crowd went wild, chanting her name. Now that Kagome and Inuyasha were back on stage, some were also chanting for Blue Lightning again. Kikyo smiled, trying her best not to let it affect her, as she waved out at the fans. "I'm glad you loved my music video for 'Who's Got You?' and that you are all in love with my dancers. I have a very special surprise for you at the end of tonight that I know you'll love. But for now… how about we keep on partying?!" They all cheered and agreed with her. Kikyo turned around as the new song began to play, seeing Inuyasha and Kagome standing a few feet behind her, both of them dressed and ready to dance. She quickly turned back to smile out at the audience and the cameras before she began to sing.

After that song, the other six dancers came back out and all twelve of them danced together with Kikyo. With all twelve of them on, they utilized the space they had. Six of them remained on the main stage, four danced on the runway while two danced on the smaller stage out front. Kikyo would move back and forth, going from the front stage to the runway and back again, only to end up back at the main stage whenever she felt like. There were certain parts in the beginning and end of her songs where she had to end on a certain stage. But Kikyo was herself in the moment and either danced alongside her dancers or just wandered around the stages, singing out to her fans.

As the night came to a close and Kikyo was finishing the second to her last song, everyone ended back on the main stage, dancing close together behind her as she posed in her ending to her song. The crowd cheered for her and she thanked them, turning around to see that all of the dancers were now running off stage except for Inuyasha and Kagome. The back track began to play out as it gave her time to talk and thank her fans.

"Oh man… once again, thank you all, thank you so much for coming out tonight," she said breathlessly. It was two hours of dancing and singing, the adrenaline still pumping in her veins. Now came the finale. "I just want to thank everyone for loving and supporting me. Thank you for loving my songs. Thank you for loving my dancers," she said, stepping to the side as she brought her hands out in front of her to encourage the fans to applaud for Inuyasha and Kagome. The two stood side by side, both looking at each other and at Kikyo, as the crowd began to chant for them.

"Blue Lightning! Blue Lightning! Blue Lightning!" The stadium erupted with their name, making it a drumming, thunderous roar. Inuyasha bent to whisper into Kagome's ear and the two of them smiled, waving at the fans and bowing. That only gave them more love and cheers. All three of the cameras were focused on them, showing their faces on all three of the screens. Inuyasha and Kagome both wore the famous black leather outfit, the same one they used in the photoshoot, the same one everyone ended with for tonight. Even Kikyo wore her photoshoot outfit to end out the night so that as the fans left the stadium, they would see the photos outside and be reminded of the finale to Kikyo's Yanmar Concert.

Inuyasha and Kagome both wore the black leather pants with a hot pink stripe on either side of the legs. Inuyasha had on the loose leather jacket that was only zipped up halfway to reveal his chest, with a pink hoodie in the back. Kagome had the cropped, leather tank top that was zipped up the front from above the belly button to cleavage. At the cleavage, there were small, pink butterflies stitched along the hem from the cleavage up to the neck to look like a butterfly necklace. Both of them kept their hairs down, same with Kikyo. Kikyo wore the same outfit from the photoshoot and the same outfit from today's VIP meet and greet. She wore the pink, strapless mini dress that had dark pink and white butterflies along the bodice with a white tulle skirt underneath. She had on white knee-high stockings with black high-heel boots. She kept her hair down in curls with pink butterflies clipped to her hair and her pink makeup to finish the look.

"Again…" Kikyo said, cutting into the applause. "Thank you all for your support with my music and my dancers. I have a very special gift for you to end our time together. How many of you saw my music video I just released a couple of weeks ago?" The crowd screamed. "I thought so. I bet you were wondering when I was going to sing that song. Well… here it is. To end out our time together, I am going to end with my favorite song, and I hope yours too. And I am going to leave it to my dancers be the star of this one." The crowd cheered as Kikyo went off to the left side of the stage, giving the center floor of the main stage both to Inuyasha and Kagome. The side screens showed Kikyo while the main screen showed Inuyasha and Kagome, a first for the entire night.

The beat started and Kikyo began to sing while Inuyasha and Kagome showed off their moves together. It was the first time the public has ever seen the entire choreography of the song, and everyone went wild over it. People had their phones out, recording the whole thing, wanting to be the first to upload the entire routine that no one saw before. The camera zoomed in on the two, getting their whole bodies. One watching would see the undivided attention they both had for each other. Not to mention the smiles and the close physical contacts they had with one another. All the sexy moves they did together and the close face touches only made the fans grow wilder, their screams growing louder, fanning the flame of the two dancers possibly being a thing even though they denied it many times over. Anyone watching that dance could tell that there was something there between the two of them. They were lost in their own world, their attention always focused on each other, their moves on point and passionate. Blue Lightning was on fire!

Kikyo sang with all her passion. Inuyasha and Kagome brought the passion of the song to life. Kikyo went from the left side of the stage to the right, wanting to give everyone a bit of attention before the end of the song. As she sang the first repeat of the chorus, everyone erupted into applause as they remembered this part of the dance from the music video. She made her way to the runway and began to sing the chorus one last time while walking down the runway. Then came the dramatic ending.

"Who's. Got. You?" Kikyo pointed ahead at the camera that was on her while Inuyasha and Kagome dipped down in their final move. At the same time, the rockets on either side of the runway exploded with thousands of pink glitter, butterfly confetti. The confetti shot out and over the runway where Kikyo stood, the cameras catching the explosion and the thousands of hand-sized butterflies that flew their way down to the ground.

"Thank you, everyone!" Kikyo said, coming out of her pose. The white and pink lights of the stadium began to dance around on the field as the instrumental back track began to play. "I hope you all enjoyed your night!"

Kagome brought her head up and smiled at Inuyasha as he brought up his. She wrapped her arms around his neck, laughing as the thunderous applause of the audience gave her such a high. She could feel him laughing too as he held her and brought her up to stand, the two of them holding each other a little while longer.

"See… dancing helps," Kagome shouted over the music and applause. Inuyasha pulled back as he smiled down at her, thankful that he had her in his life.

"Thank you and good night!" Kikyo said, turning around to walk back towards the main stage with butterfly confetti on her hair and clothes. The crowd erupted into cheers, watching the moment happen between Inuyasha and Kagome while also cheering for Kikyo and her amazing concert. The other dancers came out still dressed in their leather outfits, all waving a final farewell to the fans, causing another round of applause for all the performers. Inuyasha and Kagome did the same, all of them spending a minute to wave at everyone as the cameras were able to capture all the dancers before Kikyo turned and headed off stage with the dancers following behind her. The concert turned out to be a huge success!

Soooo...? What did you think? I hope this was an improvement from the HI concert. I think it was with the whole opening (Mir's proposal to the whole drop down with Kik in the butterfly harness) to the finale (Blue Lightning putting on a hot performance and the butterfly confetti rockets). Kik had to step it up with 50,000 fans to please. Tell me what you thought about it :)
