Chapter 5 Declaration of War

The next morning, everyone is ready for the fifth episode of Season 4. Noticing Eren's frown, Armin asks, "Eren? Are you okay? You don't seem to look fine."

"I'm fine. I was just thinking about what will happen after 4 years..." Eren says. "Ray told me that things are going to be worse."

"How worse will it be?" Historia asks.

Ray says, "Horrible to the extent that Eren almost tried to commit suicide."

This causes everyone to gasp in shock, Mikasa says, "Are you serious?"

"We don't know if we don't watch." Levi says as they start the episode.

A few years ago, Reiner, Annie, and Bertolt were having a walk. Bertolt said, "I keep having the same dream. I dream about the guy who hung himself in the fields. Why did he tell us that story right before he hung himself?"

Reiner turned to Bertolt, "Obviously, that's something we'll never know."

"I bet he wanted someone to forgive him." Annie said. "Considering we left Marcel and ran, it's not like we can say much."

"But can someone blame them?" Historia asks, "They were just kids and normal kids will just run away from them."

"Unlike some suicidal bastard who tries to fight them on his own." Jean mocks.

Eren says, "Yeah..."

Everyone is surprised to see Eren not want to fight Jean, as they are worried.

"For some reason, I can't help but think: That old man, I think what he wanted... was to be judged by someone." Bertolt said.

In the darkroom under the manor, Falco and Reiner were in front of Eren, who was sitting on a chair. "Hey. It's been four years, Reiner." Reiner was still staring at him with shock, unable to say a word.

Everyone flinches at the tension, and Eren just stands up.

"Eren? Where are you going?" Mikasa asks.

"I am watching, but just far away from you guys." Eren says. "My powers of Attack Titan allow me to see the future, and I know some of it and I don't like it."

Everyone stares at Eren with confusion, but Ray says, "Don't worry, I'll stay with him in the back."

Falco stood at the wall and looked at Reiner. "Um, huh? Aren't you two supposed to be old friends? Isn't that right, Mr. Kruger?"

"Yeah... good old friends." Connie says sarcastically.

"If only Falco knows the truth...it will be terrible for him..." Annie says.

"But knowing Eren, he wouldn't try to hurt Reiner in front of Falco, right?" Historia asks.

"Judging by Eren's expression right now and how he refuses to watch with us, I doubt it." Levi says.

"Yeah. There's so much to catch up on. I don't even know where to start."

Falco turned to Reiner, who had fear in his eyes, "Impossible... Eren!"

"Am I sacred to see Eren again... why?" Reiner asks.

"Maybe because of why he's here in Marley, and the damage we give you guys back in Shiganshina." Erwin says.

The stage was finished and the curtains were closed. The guests and citizens were sitting in their seats and waiting for the announcement to begin.

Lord Tybur was behind the stage and stood in front of a mirror. The guard standing beside him said, "Lord Tybur, it's almost time."

"Right." Willy turned around and saw the woman who helped Udo.

"My goodness!" The woman said smiling.

"Well, well! Come to give me a pep talk, Madam Azumabito?" Willy greeted.

"I hope I'm not a bother. I just came to see your face." Kiyomi replied.

"Given my stage fright, I'm sure I look hideous." Willy said while wiping some sweat with his handkerchief.

"No, you look courageous." Kiyomi said. "My whole clan knows how brave you are." She took out her hand. "I wish you the best of luck."

"I appreciate it, Lady Kiyomi." Willy shook her hand.

Who is that woman? Is she important in this episode? Mikasa thinks as she remembers the mark on the back of her clothes.

"Sit down, Reiner." Eren said. "They're good seats, right? You can hear everything on stage. The building above us is all housing."

The scene showed some people watching from the windows. "It's behind the stage, but it's full of people waiting for the curtains to rise."

"Hold on, is Eren threatening Reiner?" Armin asks in surprise.

"Why do I have a feeling that you're going to kill all those people..." Jean says to Eren, who is still watching with silence in the back.

Levi, Hange, and Erwin are also showing concern, they know something is not right with this Eren.

Reiner gasped with wide eyes, and Eren pointed his finger at the ceiling. "Directly above us."

"Huh?" Falco noticed his hand. "Kruger? Did you hurt your hand?"

Eren's hand had a cut in his palm. "Yeah. It's just a scratch."

"Just a scratch, huh?" Annie mutters.

"Don't tell me Eren is ready to transform..." Connie says.

"But they're underground, and the transformation can cause all those people to die as well." Armin says.

"Reiner, sit down." Eren said.

"Reiner closed his eyes and sit down. Falco said, "Well, I think I'll head back."

"No, Falco. You should stay here and listen."

"Huh?" Falco looked confused.

Reiner held up a hand. "Falco... Just do as he says."

"Okay." Falco whispered.

"Now Eren's dragging Falco into this as well?" Sasha asks.

Eren frowns, "I didn't want to, but I thought that if he's here, Reiner could protect him..."

Reiner sighs, "I see..."

Lady Kiyomi turned to her guards while some people were walking. "Now then, shall we leave?"

Levi stared at the screen with a raised eyebrow. Leave? Did she know something bad is going to happen? It might have to do with Eren and his talk with Reiner... I just hope that brat doesn't do anything stupid.

Reiner's mother greeted Annie's father. "Oh! Long time no see, Mr. Leonhart."

"Dad!" Annie is surprised, she is happy that her father is still safe.

"Ms. Braun... Not since your son came home, right?" Mr. Leonhart was sitting on his seat waiting for the announcement.

Karina sat down on her seat as Mr. Leonhart continued, "Speaking of which, I hear Hoover passed away in bed?"

Bertolt frowns, he can't believe his father will be dead, but then again, he can't even get back home because he's eaten by Armin.

"Yes." She answered. "He never failed to say how he was of his son's sacrifice for Marley. I'm sure your daughter also-"

Leonhart cut her off. "She's not dead. Annie is alive. She promised she would come back."

"I will definitely get back to you, father." Annie says with tears in her eyes.

"Annie..." Armin frowns at her.

On a roof of a building, Marley soldiers had a good look at the stage. "To think, war will be declared in the internment zone, of all places." Magath said.

Important people in the military were sitting in their seats. "Whoa! Even General Calvi came to the zone!" Gabi said.

"The whole backbone of Marley's military is here!" Udo said. "And all these powerful families and ambassadors!"

"Not to mention every newspaper in the world that matters." Porco said.

"It's like we're in the world's spotlight!" Pieck said while holding Zofia's shoulders, who was chuckling.

Colt, Porco, Zeke, and Pieck were sitting behind Gabi, Udo, and Zofia in the audience seats. Colt said, "The Tyburs sure are powerful."

"Yet they're Eldians, same as us." Porco said.

The trumpets were playing, and Zofia was shocked at the loud noise and covered her ears.

"It's begun." Gabi said.

"Falco and Mr. Braun aren't back yet?" Udo asked.

"Considering that Eren wanted them to stay, I don't think they're going back to them." Historia says.

A soldier came to them and turned to the Warriors. "Warriors of Marley, Commander Magath has summoned you."

That voice sounded like a female, yet she's wearing a beard? Hange wonders. Maybe that soldier was an imposter from our side, but who is it? Maybe one of the ungraduated new Survey Corp members?

The music was also heard in the basement where Eren, Reiner, and Falco were.

After a silence, with Falco glancing at each person, Reiner finally asked, "Eren... How? Why did you come here?"

"Same reason you did." Eren answered.

Reiner grabbed his head with terror and said, "Don't you get it? The same reason you did. Because I had no other choice."

"Oh shit... so he really is going to attack Marley just like they did five years ago?" Connie asks.

Eren and Bertolt remember Eren's words back on top of the tree with Ymir, and they start to shiver a little.

"But why would we agree with something like that?" Hange asks. "Reiner and the others did because they were asked to by the Marley Government, but we were in charge of the government right now..."

Willy Tybur stood on the stage and bowed to the audience, who clapped and shot pictures of him. Eren said, "Sounds like it started. Let's listen."

The clapping slowly died down. "Let's look back in time." Willy began. "Roughly 100 years ago, the Eldian Empire ruled the world with the Power of the Titans. From the rise of Founder Ymir until today, Titans have robbed enough lives to eradicate humanity three times over."

Behind Willy, a shadow puppet show with Titans eating humans appeared. After the lights went out, it was silent for a moment before the scene showed many people whining, covered in blood.

Everyone feels sick after watching the whole scene, even Sasha lost her appetite.

"But those people from 100 years ago should have been dead, right?" Historia asks.

"The hatred was still there." Armin says, "But we are the same as well..."

"Marley continues to use this to brainwash us, and I'm sick of it." Annie points out.

"Countless cultures and people have been wiped out by Titans; their histories were stolen away. The Eldian Empire's path of slaughter became humanity's history." Willy looked down. "And when the Eldian Empire ran out of enemies, they soon began slaughtering one another."

"Why would they do that?" Jean asks. "I don't think it makes any sense."

"But it is really cruel, to think what happened to those cultures and people..." Erwin says.

The scene now showed Eldians fighting against each other. "The Great Titan War had begun. Families holding the eight Titans waged a bloody war." A man in uniform stood on the stage holding a lance. "Using this to his advantage, one Marleyan sought victory. It was the hero, Helos. Thanks to his clever manipulations, the Eldian Empire was tricked into killing each other, one by one."

Helos stood with one foot on King Fritz's back, who kneeled on all fours on the ground. A member of the Tybur family stood beside Helos. "By joining hands with the Tybur family, they forced the unbeatable King Fritz to flee and retreat to the island." Everyone clapped at the history lesson.

"So that's why the Tybur Family was being respected in the world... they're the only Eldian family who helped Marley to defeat King Fritz." Erwin says.

"However, though he fled to Paradis Island, his power still remained." Titans appeared behind King Fritz. "Tens of millions of Titans await on the island to trample the world."

"Are they talking about the Titans in the walls?" Sasha asks.

"With all the Titans trampling, they can kill all humanity outside Paradis..." Armin says.

"That's the reason you attacked us and wanted the Founder. Because you were afraid of that to happen." Mikasa says.

"Yeah..." Bertolt mutters.

And that's the Rumbling... Eren thinks. If they didn't attack us first, then we wouldn't have lost all those people... Mom, Hannes, Thomas, Marco... all they want is the power to use the Rumbling...

"To this day, the only reason we haven't been trampled is merely a fluke. Our scholars have no other explanation. To eliminate this threat, our motherland Marley sent four Titans to the island, but they were beaten back and only the Armored Titan returned. The darkest blot on humanity's history, the Eldian Empire, is alive and well."

"You hear that, Reiner? Isn't that why you destroyed the wall? You guys were trying to save the world. Weren't you?" Eren asked the traumatized Reiner.

Is Eren mocking him? Historia wonders. Should we say that he deserved it?

"You're wanted at the gate, Yeager." The soldier said to Zeke.

"Fine." Zeke left.

"This way, you two." The soldier then led Porco and Pieck away.

"That soldier is separating the warriors. Something is definitely not right here." Armin says.

Pieck looked at the back of the soldier's head. "I feel like I've seen you somewhere before. Where are you from?"

"Out west by Lakua, but I was called here. I didn't come to chitchat with Eldians." The soldier answered.

"That's a shame. I kinda fancy your beard." Pieck said.

They passed by some soldiers, and some of them recognized Pieck. "Oh!" "It's Pieck!"

Pieck noticed them and said, "The Panzer Unit! Thanks for all your hard work!" She walked towards them and gave them a hug.

"W-we should be thanking you." "You're in a good mood today."

"What are you doing? Let's go." The soldier said.

"What was that?" Porco asked her when she joined them again.

"Since they ride the Cart Titan into war and all, it's good if we build a bond." Pieck answered smiling.

"Didn't you just put a rift in that bond?" Porco asked while looking at the unit, with the one being hugged by Pieck glared by the other members.

"Looks like they're jealous..." Sasha chuckles.

"That poor guy." Connie says.

"Anything?" Magath asked.

"Nothing strange as of yet."

"I don't care how small it seems. Report everything to me."

"Yes sir."

Those soldiers seem to be expecting something in the speech... Hange says as she turns to Eren, who is still lowering his head with Ray by his side. I hope it doesn't relate to Eren.

The soldier led Porco and Pieck into a meeting room. "In here. Enter."

The two of them looked around and Porco asked, "Where's Commander Magath?"

Pieck turned around and saw the soldier grab a knife. "Porco!" The soldier cut off the rope, causing both of them to fall to the ground below them and scream.

"A trap?!" Everyone is surprised.

"Do you think we asked that guy to do all of this? But why?" Connie asks.

"Maybe it doesn't want the warriors to get in the way." Erwin says.

What's going on here? Falco thought. Why is Vice Chief Braun so scared? Isn't Kruger an old friend of his?

His eyes widened in realization. Old friend? Like, how many years ago? If it's more than four, they met on Paradis Island!

"That kid is smart. I just hope he'll be fine." Historia says.

No, there's no way! Because that means... He remembered Reiner staring at Eren with shock. Could it be-?!

Back on the stage, Willy was still explaining the history. "Now then, the story I've told this far is common knowledge. However, the truth is somewhat different."

"The truth is different?" Jean asks.

"Maybe the people's memories are rewritten by the Founding Titan's powers?" Armin asks.

"If that's the case, I want to know the truth." Hange says.

"Same here, I want to know why Marley has been a bunch of liars." Annie growls.

Willy was now standing between Helos and a Tybur member. "In passing down the War Hammer Titan, the Tybur family inherited its memories."

Eren and Reiner looked up at the ceiling. "I will now reveal the truths we learned for the first time ever."

A Marley soldier whispered something to the General. "Some 100 years ago, it was neither Helos nor the Tyburs who ended the Great Titan War. The one who ended the fighting and saved the world... was King Fritz."

"Wait what?" "But why would he do that?" "I'm so confused."

King Fritz stood behind him. "He anguished over the Eldian Empire's vicious history, tired from the endless infighting, and above all, he was pained by the endless oppression of Marley."

Tybur and King Fritz shook hands. "When he inherited the Founding Titan, he schemed with the Tybur family and they fabricated a Marleyan hero. His name: Helos. The King moved as many Eldians as he could to the island and closed the gates. He claimed that if they were threatened, thousands of Titans would be unleashed as revenge. However, this was never his intention."

A picture was shown of a baby who was sleeping in King Fritz's arms. "King Fritz made a vow renouncing war so his ideology would be inherited. Because of this, Karl Fritz's ideology has been passed down, and the Titans have never left the island to attack."

"And because of that vow, my family never once tried to save humanity." Historia mutters. "And Eren's father has to kill all of them to take the Founding Titan..."

"So that's how Eren got the Founding Titan?" Reiner asks in surprise.

"Yeah." Eren sighs. "My Dad killed them and then passed it to me."

"But it's fine that the Titans didn't leave the island to attack..." Armin says.

"That is, the one keeping our world safe is the 'vile' King of the walls... Karl Fritz, and his desire for peace." The audience watched with slightly open mouths. "Peace was all he wanted. But if Marley grew strong and came to take the Founding Titan or his life, he would accept it."

"That's why the Royal Government wanted us to die before we did the coup d'etat." Jean says.

"He thought it was the right thing to do, after this terrible war." Armin says.

"But I still don't get why we have to pay for their sins." Connie mutters.

The wall was shown with a hole in it. "He believed the sins of the Eldians were so grave, they could never be atoned for. 'However, until that of retribution, let me savor a brief paradise, free of conflict within the walls. That is all I ask of you.' That was his last request."

Gabi gasped shocked. "Huh?" "What does this mean?" "If this is true..."

"Marley and Tyburs saving the world was made up by King Fritz?" "If the King of the walls won't attack, why do they say Paradis Island is a threat?"

"Yes..." Willy continued. "In exchange for our safety, the Tybur family joined hands with Karl Fritz and sold out the Eldians to Marley. We're no more than traitors lavishing in crookedly earned the honor. The reason that I stand here and willingly part with this sham is that I know our world is in great peril."

Eren steps forward and says, "When my father stole the Founding Titan from Historia's sister, he also broke the vow renouncing war. I'm sure Marley knows I have the Founding Titan, and they think I would let the Titans loose."

"But you won't do that, right?" Mikasa asks.

Eren says, "I don't know...but those people watching the speech think that I will do it."

Someone was running to Magath. "Commander!"

He turned around. "The Warriors and soldiers sent to get them are missing."

"Mobilize a search team!" Magath ordered.

"Yes, sir!" The soldier left.

"Has it begun?" Magath asked.

So they're also expecting something to happen. Levi thinks. Just what is going on here...

Down the hole, the wounds of Porco and Pieck were healing. "Damn, that hurt! Shit! What the hell is this?" Porco asked.

"Must be a pit to restrain Warriors. It's a classic trap... too cramped for one of us to transform, let alone two."

"Didn't we do the same thing to Eren before?" Hange asks Levi. "When we tried to see him transform."

"Yeah, only that he didn't transform at that time." Levi says.

"Yeah, we'd be squashed to death. Why'd that scrawny soldier even do it?"

"I don't know, but I feel like I've seen them before." Pieck said.

Willy looked at his family, who stood backstage and watched him. Stand there and watch. This is my atonement!

The soldiers were playing drums, and he continued, "Using the power of the Founding Titan, Karl Fritz erected three walls."

Behind him were shadows of Titans with linked arms. "These walls, formed by tens of millions of Colossal Titans, have served as a shield and spear, safeguarding peace."

"So, that's how they are standing in the walls!" Hange says excitedly.

"You're too loud, four eyes." Levi said while covering his ear.

Soldiers were running down the street. "But recently, an uprising took place on Paradis Island. King Fritz's peace was undermined by a person who stole the Founding Titan." They showed Eren's Titan form as a puppet.

"I don't look like that..." Eren mutters.

"I know." Ray says. "And I'm sorry."

"Once again, there's a threat to our world... a rebel against peace." Eren let his leg regenerate, much to Falco's horror and shock. "His name: Eren Yeager!"

Why is Eren doing that in front of Falco? Armin wonders. Falco is truly in danger right now... Reiner thinks. If he wants me, then I'm glad to take it, but not Falco...

"Well, now the whole world knows your name, Eren." Jean says.

"I know." Eren says, still lowering his head.

"You tricked me..." Falco said to Eren. "And here I respected you... But you tricked me!"

Eren frowns as he mutters, "I'm sorry, Falco...but it has to be done..."

"That poor boy... now he realizes the truth..." Historia says.

"I'm sorry, Falco." Eren apologized. "I needed your help."

"Huh?" He realized something. "The letters! The ones you had me send! What were they?!"

Reiner's eyes widened when he remembered meeting Falco at the gate and he said to him he forgot something at HQ.

"They didn't reach my family, but they did reach my comrades." Eren said.

Falco took a step back and he slid to the ground, he had tears in his eyes. "No way! You're kidding!"

"Y-Your comrades?" Reiner stuttered.

"I wonder when we're going to show up... so those letters are really secrets that Eren gathered for us..." Armin says.

"Maybe that's why we are involved with trapping those two Warriors." Mikasa says.

"Hold on, you guys really plan to attack Marley?" Annie asks.

"Maybe we would..." Hange says, "Considering what the TV showed us."

"Then please, leave my father out of this." Annie says.

At the stage, Willy continued speaking. "The threat of Paradis Island is the stampede of millions of Colossal Titans - a rumbling. As I mentioned, the vow to renounce war prevents the King's bloodline from fully using the Founding Titan. But currently, this 'Eren Yeager' who possesses the Founding Titan may begin this rumbling at any moment."

Eren kneels down and holds his head, "I really don't want to do it..."

"Eren!" Mikasa rushes towards Eren, and everyone notices how broken he is right now. Eren says, "I don't want to do it..."

"Eren, you don't have to do it. It's okay." Mikasa says as she tries to cheer him up.

"Yeah, don't let them get those words into your head." Jean says.

Armin also walks towards Eren and says, "Yeah, I know you're not that heartless."

"Even though I am the least to say anything, I know you won't do this as well." Reiner says.

But I am... Eren thinks.

Colossal Titans were shown walking across the earth. "Once the rumbling is set into motion, there is nothing we can do. Nothing but tremble at the footsteps of doom, fleeing in vain. All lands and civilizations will be trampled, literally razed to the ground."

Now everyone knows how terrible it is, and they are speechless as it will be the end of the world.

"That's right." Eren said. "It's like Willy says- I'm the bad guy. I might just destroy the world."

"Please, no.." Everyone is showing concern, and the current Eren is still on the ground with Mikasa trying to cheer him up.

He looked to the side. "But to me, you were the bad guys, too. That day, when the wall was destroyed and Titans invaded my hometown, I watched my mom get eaten."

Falco looked at him with wide eyes at his words.

"I couldn't understand." Eren continued. "Why, Reiner? Why was my mom eaten by a Titan?"

"Because... on that day, we broke the wall." he answered.

"Why did you break the wall?" "To sneak in during the chaos and see how the King would react."

"What was your mission?" "To retake the Founding Titan and save the world."

"I see... If it was to save the world, you didn't have much choice."

Reiner looked away. After a silence, he spoke again, "Back then, you told me: 'I'll make you guys suffer and die in the worst way possible.' " Reiner looked back to Eren. "Isn't that why you came?"

"Oh, I vaguely remember saying that."

"Huh?" Reiner's eyes widened in fear.

"Just forget it. True, I saw everyone on the other side of the sea as my enemy. But then, I crossed the sea, slept under the same roof as them, ate the same food... Reiner, I'm the same as you."

A memory was shown where the Eldian soldiers were scared by a Marleyan soldier. Eren was among them. "Sure, there are jerks here, but good people, too." He looked at Falco, who gasped slightly. "Across the sea, within the walls... It's the same."

Another memory was shown when Reiner walked with the kids across the pier. Eren was watching them.

So that really is Eren... Levi thinks. How long has he been watching them?

"But you guys were taught everyone in the walls was a devil. You were children who knew nothing, but it was drilled into you. You were just kids. What could you even do? Right, Reiner? Hasn't that been eating away at you?"

Reiner gritted his teeth and fell to his knees in front of Eren. "No, you're wrong, Eren!"

Everyone has their eyes widened as they aren't expecting this. Reiner, Bertolt, and Annie aren't expecting this as well.

He feels terrible of what he did... Is this why he wanted to kill himself? Historia frowns.

Falco watched with wide eyes. "That day, when Marcel was eaten, Annie and Bertolt tried to turn back and end the mission." Reiner sobbed. "But I... I talked them into it and made them go on! I wanted to be a hero! I wanted people's respect! It's my fault!"

He looked up at Eren. "Your mom was eaten by a Titan because of me!"

Back at the stage, Willy continued. "I cursed the blood I was born with. More than anyone, I wished the Eldians were wiped out."

People in the audience were whispering to each other. "I'm sick of this... of myself! Just kill me!" Reiner begged.

"Reiner..." Eren mutters.

Bertolt and Annie can only stare at Reiner in shock, but Reiner is having the same feelings as his TV self right now.

Willy continued, "But I do not wish to die. And that is because I was born into this world. We are people of different races and nations!"

The audience had tears in their eyes. "However, it is time to join as one and face this dreadful enemy!"

Soldiers were gathering at an entrance of a building. "Lend me your strength, those of you who wish to live! Those of you who wish for a future!"

Many cameras shot pictures of Willy and the audience cheered.

Eren looked down as Willy continued, "If we work together, we can overcome any obstacle in our way!"

Soldiers were running down the stairs. Eren stood up and said, "As I thought, I'm the same as you."

He looked up and saw Eren offering him his hand, the one who was bleeding.

"It seems like Eren is going to let them go?" Connie asks.

"I don't think so..." Armin says. Please don't transform...

"I want you to join me in the fight against the devils of Paradis Island!" Willy yelled.

Eren helped Reiner to his feet. "I think we were born this way."

"Here and now, as representative of the Marleyan government, I proclaim..."

Soldiers gathered around the door where Eren and Reiner were at. "I keep moving forward."

Reiner stared at him, terrified. "Until I destroy my enemies."

"Please don't..." Armin gasps.

"Damn it... Falco is in the room and you're going to transform?" Jean asks.

"That is a stupid thing to do..." Levi mutters.

Eren isn't saying anything, while Mikasa is looking at him with concern.

Reiner, Bertolt, and Annie are also surprised if Eren transforms right now, it is going to destroy the building and all the people in it.

Golden sparks crackled around their hands. Reiner's eyes widened and ran to Falco, while Eren just stood there and began to transform.

The building began to explode. "To the enemy forces of Paradis... a declaration of war!" Willy yelled. Just as he said it, Eren came out in his Titan form behind him.

Willy stared at him shocked. The people in the audience stared at him, a few of them were hit by a brick of the building.

The eyes of Eren's Titan were glowing green and he roared. He grabbed Willy, destroying the stage in the progress, and he threw him in the air. Killing him in the progress, his spine broke. Blood flew everywhere in the air.

Ray says, "Let's stop the episode here."

"The people in the building... All these people... are dead." Historia mutters while covering her mouth.

"I can see when Eren said he wants to commit suicide after knowing this..." Armin says. "This is really horrible."

"On the other hand, when we came up to this point, if Eren didn't interfere, they are still going to declare war on us." Erwin says. "That's why we're here to fix it, right?"

The others nodded, and Eren is still sitting on the ground. "I'm... sorry..."

And here is a new chapter, I hope you like it.
