Jimmy and Cindy: Brother and Sister
Chapter 1: Night Of No Remorse
Jimmy was woken up by some very loud voices. Jimmy quickly gets out of bed, puts on some shorts, and runs down the stairs. Jimmy halfway down the stairs, witnesses a disturbing sight. He sees his mother leave out the front door with some suitcases. Jimmy runs down the rest of the stairs and looks at his father.
"Come in the kitchen, we need to talk." said Hugh.
Hugh leads Jimmy into the kitchen. Jimmy and Hugh sit down. Hugh looks into Jimmy's eyes.
"Jimmy" he began, his voice cracking a little. "There is something I need to tell you. Your mother and I have gotten a divorce."
"What? Why?" shouted Jimmy, with fury and sadness.
"Your mother has been having an affair with Mr. Vortex. On the same token, however, I've been having an affair with Ms. Vortex. Therefore, after we found out each other's little secret, we got a divorce. It was for the better." said Hugh.
Jimmy stands up and walks away, with tears in his eyes.
Jimmy looks at his dad and says "I f'n hate you, you despicable SOB!"
Jimmy runs out of his house, crying. He runs to the only sanctum he could think off -- Carl's house. Jimmy knocks on Carl's door. Carl would normally be asleep, along with his parents, but he was having a sleepover with Sheen, so he and his folks stayed up late. Carl opens the door.
"Hey, Jimmy, what's up?" asked Carl.
Carl and Sheen look at Jimmy and there mood changes from happy to concerned.
"What's wrong?" asked Carl.
"Carl, can I stay here tonight? I am having some problems at home, and would like to stay away from it, at least for tonight." said Jimmy.
Carl's dad and mom overheard the conversation. Carl's dad answers the question for his son.
"Jimmy, you can stay here tonight. It's no problem." said Carl's dad.
Jimmy enters the house, closes the door, and then starts crying. Everyone calms him down.
"Okay, Jimmy is obviously emotionally upset and doesn't want to talk about what's bugging him tonight, so it now time to get to bed." said Carl's dad.
Everyone gets Jimmy some pillows and a blanket. Jimmy and the others go to sleep. Across the street, another family was having the same problem.
Cindy was having a sleepover with Libby when Cindy's parents started arguing. Cindy and Libby walk into the kitchen where the argument was being held.
"Drunk again, huh. Who the hell so you think you are, waltzing in here when you like. I never should have married you." said Cindy's mom, Kayla.
"You want to talk to me like that, fine! I want a divorce. In fact, I already got the paperwork. All you need to do is sign it, and I'll be out of your life, along with Cindy's life, forever!" said Cindy's father, Al.
Al hands Kayla the paperwork. Kayla reads the paperwork, to make sure the conditions satisfy her needs, and then she signs it. Al then leaves the house.
Cindy, who heard the entire argument, stands there in shock at what transpired.
Libby tells Cindy "If you want, you can stay at my house tonight."
"I'm not sure about that." said Cindy.
Kayla looks at Cindy and says "Please go. I need some personal time, some time to myself."
Kayla failed to mention that both her and her husband had affairs with the Neutrons. This was enough for Cindy for one day or night.
Cindy wants to go, but something inside her tells her to stay and comfort her mother. Libby sensed this and gently pushed Cindy to and out the front door. Once they were out of the house, Cindy's legs started working and she started walking to Libby's house. Once they got there, Cindy started to cry, for one of the few times in her life. Libby calmed her down, and they both went to bed. Tomorrow will hopefully be a better day for both Cindy and Jimmy.
