So, here I'm again. It continues with all the guys in their house. Soon there will be other characters but I don't want to give anything away yet. Everything comes in its time. I'm currently in a creative frenzy, so there is so much to come. Wish you again a lot of fun reading.

Greetings Petit Erik

Jenny almost fell out of her bed in shock. Totally dazed, she looked at her alarm clock, 5 o'clock in the morning. And punctual as the bricklayers, of course, all the phantoms in her house had to try out their new organs, of which they were so proud. Jenny cursed to herself and thought of building the rooms soundproof.

Despite the cursing, of course, the 20 maestros in her house didn't stop, so she grabbed her cell phone, activated the Bluetooth connection to all the rooms, turned on her speaker, and let out a blaring whistle through all the rooms. Instantly, it was silent. Unfortunately, the gentlemen had not thought about the fact that Jenny could whistle not only on her fingers, but also through her teeth, and that was often even louder than whistling on her fingers. Already she heard it rumbling next door and below her. Quickly she got out of her bed, opened the door and roared through the whole house, so that really even those in the basement could hear it.

"TELL ME, DO YOU ALL HAVE ROOF DAMAGE?! HERE YOU WANT TO SLEEP THROUGH UNTIL 7 O'CLOCK AND ARE THROWN OUT AT 5 O'CLOCK! IF YOU WANT TO WAKE ME UP, THEN PLEASE WITH PIANO AND NOT ALL AT THE SAME TIME! SO THAT WAS RULE NUMBER 3! THE REST WILL COME LATER!"

Rumm, her room door was closed again. She knew that all the phantoms were now looking at each other, no matter which floor, rather apologetically and shamefully. Then they went back to their rooms and each quietly played some music on his piano. Even the gentlemen had already thought of soundproofing their rooms and had also thought about where they could get the material.

Jenny, meanwhile, was grinning to herself in her bed: she knew very well that the men were looking at each other rather gloomily. And that was also her reaction, which she was eager to elicit from them. With an amused smile, she fell asleep once again. About 1½ hours later she got up again and was a bit more rested than before. She freshened up in her bathroom, got dressed and went down to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. To do this, she made herself a cup of coffee and quietly let Christmas music play from a radio.

As she did so, she quietly hummed along to the tune: "Last Christmas I gave you my heart. But the very next day you gave it away. This year to save me from tears I'll give it to someone special." Suddenly, a loud yawn sounded behind her. She immediately stopped humming and turned around, startled.

Behind her stood a rather tired and disheveled-looking Gerry, his hair sticking out on all sides. Jenny couldn't help but grin in amusement.

"Good morning, did you fall down the stairs or comb your hair with a flash bang?" she asked, amused. Gerry looked at her in confusion and then laughed a moment later.

"Oh that," amused, he pointed to his hair. "I guess I didn't sleep so well last night."

"Could it be because you also, like the 19 others, woke me up early at 5 with your organ?" asked Jenny with a raised eyebrow.

"Uh, that could be," Gerry said, a little embarrassed.

"Anyway, it doesn't matter. Say, have you heard anything from the others yet, if they're awake in any way?", Jenny asked Gerry.

He replied: "No, not yet, but they still have half an hour." With that statement, he pointed to the clock on the oven, where the time read 7:30.

"If I were you, I would make myself a little more, let's say 'presentable', because guaranteed there would be a comment from the others about your hairstyle," Jenny said to Gerry.

"They should be happy that I can do my hair at all unlike them." At this he looked a bit grumpy, while Jenny had to try hard not to laugh out loud.

It was true what he said: unlike most of the phantoms in the house, Gerry still had almost full head of hair, while that was rather a rarity with the others. The only ones who also still had full hair were Derik and Kerik. With the others almost prairie prevailed. All Merik's had only a few gray strands, while Erik's and Lerik's 'hair' was no different. When Gerry saw Jenny having to pull herself together not to laugh, a grin crept onto his face himself.

"I'm going upstairs again," he said, "to make myself 'presentable' as you call it."

Whereupon he walked out of the kitchen back up to the third floor. Jenny, meanwhile, had managed to pull herself together again and continued to make breakfast. When it was 8:00 and none of the phantoms showed up, she stood in the hallway, whistled on her fingers and called up: "Men, down!" She did the same with the ones from the basement, only instead of calling "Men, down!", she called "Men, up!"

Soon all the phantoms appeared and breakfast could begin. While Jenny was looking around during the meal, she noticed that almost all of them looked exactly like Gerry, at least as far as the structure and appearance of their hair was concerned. In fact, they all looked like they had fallen down or up the stairs. In addition, Gerry didn't look presentable either, in fact he looked even more tired than he had half an hour ago.

When Jenny asked what they were going to do after breakfast today, all she got was a twenty-fold "SLEEPING! Staying awake until dawn and then looking and feeling like a zombie. For most of them, even their extra strong coffee didn't help. When breakfast ended at 9:00, she sent everyone back to bed.

"Messieurs, this is unbearable. You look like zombies and you move as slowly as zombies. Get in your rooms and get some sleep, no matter how long it takes. I'll finish this mess."

With that she pushed everyone out of the kitchen, from some came grateful murmurs but most of them were no longer able to do so. She cleared the dishes from the previous evening out of the dishwasher and then stacked the used dishes from breakfast in it. Then she turned it on and put the clean dishes away.

After she had done this, she quietly went up to her room, knowing that most of her roommates would be asleep. When she got to her room, she grabbed her smartphone. '1 new message' said the display. She clicked on it and saw that it was from Sierra, who was in a relationship with one of the 10 phantoms on the second floor.

Her message read: "Hey Jen, I was wondering if you were free tomorrow because if you were, we would all come over tomorrow night with the kids and celebrate Christmas with you and stay until 12/26 in the afternoon. Drop me a line and see if that would be okay with you. Greetings Sierra."

Jenny was totally delighted with this news. Of the 'Christines' Sierra was the only one with whom she really had a very good contact. Admittedly, she was also the only one with a smartphone, since the other ladies rather kept their distance to this technology. The fact that everyone would now come to them together with the children and celebrate Christmas with them sounded wonderful to her ears. But at the same time she felt some pity to all the phantoms in her household. Jenny knew that none of them had ever even celebrated a Christmas, let alone ever received a gift. Thus, she decided to give them the best Christmas they had ever and would ever experience.

But before she ran to the attic and pulled out Christmas stuff from her home, she quickly wrote to Sierra: "Wow yeah, of course I'm free, I'm totally looking forward to you all coming. There is enough space in every room, also for the children. Could you please ask the other ladies about gifts for their respective opera spirits, because you know them best. Looking forward to it, see you tomorrow. Greetings Jenny."

After sending this message, she headed straight for the attic, which was above the 3rd floor. There she kept all the Christmas things from her home. Jenny was not French, as everyone thought because of her French name, but came from Germany, more precisely from the Ore Mountains. And because Christmas tradition is very important there, she had unceremoniously taken all her stuff from home when she moved out. Now she had so much that never everything would fit only in her living room and in her own room. So she had to figure something out.

She thought about sending all the phantoms to the hardware store this afternoon to get the insulation material needed to soundproof the rooms. And while the OG's would be on the way, she could build up everything. She had already taken care of the food for the next few days. She could have guessed that the Christines would want to come. And that's why she had already intentionally bought more than usual. Since there would be no lunch today, because all the opera spirits were still asleep, she thought of decorating the living room first.

So, without further ado, she dragged all the things that were intended for the living room downstairs. She had just finished half of all the decorations for the set-up and was poring over the instructions for the Herrnhut star when she heard an unsteady tap from outside. Quickly, Jenny got up and opened the door a crack to see who it was. Out in the hallway, Little, one of the Merik's from the 2nd floor, headed toward the kitchen. Jenny followed him unobtrusively, or at least tried to. For already he had noticed her and turned to her.

"Good morning," he said.

"Uh morning?" she asked, completely flabbergasted, "it's 12:30 at noon!"

Little looked at her out of wide, surprised eyes: "12:30? Man have I slept late. It's been ages since I last slept that long."

"I'll bet you have," Jenny replied. A short time later, a few more frisky-looking phantoms were now coming up or down the stairs. Jenny, thinking of her Christmas decorations, took the initiative and asked right away: "Listen, I was wondering if you guys wanted to go get the insulation material later, because I know tomorrow the stores will be even more crowded than they already are today."

This suggestion met with everyone's approval, and after the men got ready, they left.

Erik said to her beforehand: "We hope to be back by dinner. Otherwise, we can make it a little later or?"

There was no mockery in his yellow eyes at all at the word dinner, just a normal question. Jenny nodded and Erik looked visibly pleased at that.

After everyone had left, she started to work on her star again, because there was not much time left until the men would reappear and she still had a lot to do. For example, she still had to put up decorations in the Merik's common room and the front door and the staircase should already look somewhat festive. So she worked in piecework and hoped that she would make it in time.

As she worked, she heard Christmas music playing rather loudly, where most of the gentlemen in her house would have their toenails rolling up in horror. But she didn't care. The guys had their organs this morning, now she had her Christmas music. 18:00 then finally she was done with everything. Well, actually already 17:30, because she had already prepared dinner, because she did not know when the worthy gentlemen would come back. 19:00 then they finally came. Several of them were heavily packed and ask Jenny where the insulation material could be put down. "Put it down here on the floor and come eat something first. After that, we'll take care of it," she said to them.

They nodded to her and put the insulation wool down in the hallway. Then they took off their coats and masks and followed Jenny into the kitchen. During dinner, they all talked about how busy it was outside. How many people were out despite Corona, how many were also shopping but most of them just wanted to get home quickly. Jenny listened attentively and was inwardly very pleased that she had not been shopping with them. She had accomplished everything she wanted to accomplish and was more than proud of herself for it.

That evening, dinner didn't go on as long as it had the day before, because everyone wanted to get the insulation wool on quickly. So after three quarters of an hour it was already over and the phantoms spread out in the house. Everyone took as much material as they needed and dragged it along. Mackintosh, the third of the four OG's from the third floor, immediately asked Jenny if he should also work on her room.

"If that would be OK with you, I wouldn't have a problem with it," she said.

But he just shook his head.

"Once I'm in, I might as well keep going. It's no problem for me at all."

Jenny nodded at him with a grateful smile, and he returned it. Isolating the rooms then didn't take that long because everyone was helping everyone. Then at 21:30 they were all done and relaxed in the living room talking about the day. But they didn't go to bed too late either, because there was still a surprise coming tomorrow.
