AN: If I ever decide to make a mental conversation with Kratos, Raven, Ker, and Erebus then I'm going to make:

'Erebus talk like this'

'Ker talk like this'

'Raven talk like this'

'And Kratos like this'

Otherwise it's just gonna be like normal

I wake up to see that it's still an hour or two until sunrise, since I can't go back to sleep I get up and stretch a little before heading outside to the garden. As I get outside Ker also comes out of my shadow and does his own stretches as well.

'It's a nice day, isn't it?'

'It is, I don't get to enjoy these kinds of moments often. Because I was usually sleeping or fending of grimm from my territory.'

'And I swore to kill the gods who have ruined my life, and I was too focused on that to enjoy the simple things. Just like right now.'

"Already awake?" Raven asks as she sits down on a bench.

"I wouldn't be alive if I didn't wake up at this time."

"Same here, would've been dead many times over."

"And where's Erebus?"

"Still in my hair, sleeping. It seems he finds it quite comfortable."

"I see, when are you going to start training with him?"

"Probably sometime after you leave with that white haired brat."

"I hope I'll be able to get through to Ironwood or I'll probably beat him into it. But I wouldn't really mind the second option though."

"*Chuckle* You probably prefer it to be that way don't you?"

"Possibly, but on to other things…"

(Timeskip)

And so we talked for the remaining hours of peace and quiet we'll probably be getting in a while. Erebus wore up halfway through the conversation as well and started talking to Ker through their own shared mental link.

"And then I had to-" Raven was interrupted when we hear a yawn.

We look over to the doorway to see Ruby still groggy and Roman behind her walking to the kitchen.

"*Yawn* What are you two doing at *Checks scroll* 6 in the morning? The *Yawn* plan was for Dominus and Weiss to leave at 11." Ruby asked rubbing her eyes.

"Simply what we did to stay alive this long. And habits like that die hard if at all." Raven says.

"Anyways, you guys want coffee or something?" Ruby asks.

"I'll pass." I say.

"I'll make some tea for myself, don't want anyone ruining my tea which and by extension, my morning as well." Raven says walking past Ruby.

Ruby stretches and sits on one of the nearby benches before taking a deep breath and sighing contently.

"So did you learn to use your eyes better when me and Raven were out looking for the now named Erebus?" I ask.

"I have, and it really helped a lot even though she couldn't teach me for that long. I have better control of my eyes now and I can activate them at will. And I learned some other neat little tricks too." Ruby explained.

"Sounds interesting, if it doesn't harm Ker then show me." I say.

She nods and closes her eyes, and not even a few moments later she opens them to reveal that her eyes are covered in a shining layer of silver while they go up into the air almost like flames at the edges.

"While they're activated, I'm much faster, stronger, more aware of my surroundings and more durable as well. I can also infuse this power into weapons for a period of time." She says before picking up a rock.

She focuses on it and the rock is slowly covered in translucent silver energy. She throws it normally to the ground and instead of just bouncing a little and roll, it embeds itself into the ground.

"Anything that I infuse will become many times more deadly." She says proud.

"And I imagine this takes aura to use?" I ask.

"It does, but with what it's currently like, I can last for a few hours at most. But I can only the thing I did back in Beacon once before needing to recover." She says.

"Then if you're out of aura you're pretty much fucked then?" I ask.

"*Sigh* Yeah pretty much, I don't want to find out what happens when I use it when my aura's out if it even works." She says.

"It seems you and so many others rely on your auras too much and are basically defenseless if it shatters. Either that or you are much less effective in combat." I say.

"So what do you suggest we do then?" Ruby asks.

"Train as much and as hard as you can without aura." I say.

"I guess that makes sense, any suggestions?" She asks.

"You figure it out, I'm not obligated to help you anymore, and besides, you should learn to think for yourself." I say.

"*Sigh* Fine. I'm heading inside to make myself some breakfast and see if the others are awake yet." She says getting up and into the house.

A few hours later everyone else is up with Jaune Qrow being the last one to wake up.

"I really can't believe an old woman woke up earlier than you, you idiot of a brother. Granted that she's a former legend, but still!" Raven shouts at Qrow.

"Yeah yeah…" He just waves it off apparently still sleepy and sightly drunk.

"*Sigh* With that attitude it's nothing short of a miracle he's still alive." Raven says getting nods of agreement from everyone.

"Right, so moving on from that. Since it's 8 30 why don't you start packing your things Weiss? Being early never hurt." Ruby says.

"I suppose you would be right. I'll be right back." She says before heading upstairs.

"Aren't you going to pack your things Dominus?" Ruby asks

"I-" I was about to say but was interrupted when the ground rumbled before a loud roar can be heard from a distance not even a few seconds later.

"What was that!?" Weiss shouts running down the stairs.

Suddenly our scrolls start vibrating with an alarm sound playing. We quickly take out our scrolls and after silencing the alarms a message flashed on our screens saying, 'WARNING! WARNING! MULTIPLE LEVIATHAN CLASS GRIMM DETECTED AT THE OUTER WEST WALL! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! EVERY CIVILIAN SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY! WE REPEAT THIS IS NOT A DRILL! LET THE ATLAS MILITARY HANDLE THE THREAT'

As I finish reading the message, alarms start blaring outside and the screams of panic follow moments after. Everybody looks at everyone for a second or two before scrambling to get their outfits on and their weapons ready.

I turn to Raven, "I'll go fly up to see where the grimm is attacking so I can guide us there." I say quickly.

She nods before I run out to the back and Ker comes out of my shadow with his wings already formed. I get on quickly before Ker flies up into the sky as fast as he can before going into a complete stop so I can look around.

It doesn't take me long to see three giant grimm in the distance emerging from the water and approaching the city at a steady pace. The middle grimm is giant with large spikes coming out of its top back stopping halfway and ending with a tail and fin. It of course has the customary bone mask of all grimm, and it roars again, showing the likely thousands of extremely sharp teeth it has.

On both sides of the grimm are ones that look like dragons. But not the type that attacked Beacon, no these ones were different. Their bodies were long and slim and a dragon shaped bone mask along with long whisker like things on both sides of their cheeks. They dive back into the water but not before showing the wings that they apparently have along with a heavily armored underside.

'What grimm are those Ker?'

'The middle one is too uncommon to be given a name, so it's just called a leviathan. But the two besides it are called Sea Feilong, and they can fly for short periods of time before needing to return back to the water and I managed to see one fire off a beam of lighting from its mouth once. But it is quite strange to see three of them work together like this. Usually grimm of this caliber prefer to work alone. But it seems these particular ones may have an agreement of sorts.'

'Alright let's head back down, the others must be ready by now.'

Ker nods before diving down at very fast speeds before slowing down considerably until he only kicked up some dust and dirt after he landed. As the dust settled I can see that everyone's already ready and waiting.

"What did you see?" Raven asks.

"Three leviathan classed grimm. Two are Sea Feilong while the third one is unnamed." I say.

"Two Sea Feilong!?" Blake shouts in surprise. "One was already enough trouble!"

"Well let's not waste any more time then! Dominus lead the way!" Ruby shouts.

"Alright, half of you on Ker and the other on Erbeus!" I say.

Everyone nods before Erebus comes out half size but still enough to carry the other half of our group. I get on Ker before putting some mana into him to increase his size so the half of the group will fit. We quickly take off with me and Ker leading the way while Erebus follows closely behind us.

Not even 10 minutes of travelling at top speed me make it to where the grimm are and they are much bigger close up. But they were kept at bay by a giant mech either by explosives or other fancy technology. But since it isn't that maneuverable, one of the Sea Feilong manage to wrap around one arm. The mech tries to get it off but the other Sea Feilong wraps around its other arm resulting in the mech now unable to use its arms.

The leviathan, takes a few steps back before running as fast as it can and rams into the mech sending its main body and legs back into the cliff leaving its arms still wrapped up by the Sea Feilong. The leviathan charges up a beam attack to finish off whoever is piloting the mech but that's where I come in to interfere.
