… When she said she would be thorough, she fucking meant it because it's been hours since the interrogation started. But at least it's over now and she deemed me to not be a threat. And right now, we're standing at the entrance gate of the whole base.

"You may return to wherever you're staying now." She says.

"Actually, I'll be waiting here because Weiss decided that she's going back to Atlas." I say

"Wonderful! I'm glad she's coming back to her senses." She says with a smile.

"But I'm accompanying her. And it's either that or she doesn't fly at all." I say.

The smile quickly turns upside down as she gets into a thinking position, "Well… that one hunter smells and looks like he's perpetually drunk… and the red eyed one seems rather brash…" She mumbles to herself before sighing and looks at me. "Fine, but there better be no funny business happening anywhere." She says pointing a finger at me.

"Sure, I wasn't planning on doing anything anyway. And it's not like you could stop me if I do decide to do something." I say.

"That does not sound well for you, but I'll trust your words." She says.

I nod before calling Weiss and telling her to head to the base.

(Small Timeskip)

About twenty minutes later Weiss arrived in some travel clothing with her weapon hooked onto her side while carrying some luggage. As she got close, two rather… eccentric guards march up to her and takes her baggage before marching off to one of the airships.

"Are you ready to go?" I ask.

"As ready as I'll ever be." She says taking a few deep breaths to calm herself.

"You two should board the airship now if you don't want to miss the window we'll have to open up." Cordovin says.

We nod before boarding the airship and after confirming that Weiss' luggage is on board we took off and began our journey to Atlas. Once everything was stable, the pilot announced that it was going to take a few hours to get to Atlas.

I lean back into the seat and get as comfortable as I can get before closing my eyes and waiting for sleep to come over me so I can talk to Salem to pass time, that is, if she's not busy. A few moments later the familiar feeling of sleep washes over me. Not long after, I 'open' my eyes to the usual black void with the couches already there.

"Any particular reason you want to talk to me?" She asks walking from behind me to one of the couches.

"No not really, just wanting to pass the time. And I do have to say, you look better in that form and outfit you know." I say because she's in her human form before she fell into the grimm pool and all that with the clothes she wore before as well.

"Why thank you. It's been so long since I've been like this and I forgot how good it feels to be human again, even if it's not exactly real."

(Timeskip)

"-you know, if that's why you're going after the relics in the first place, I could just kill you and we can be done with it."

"*Sigh* For the last time Kratos, there is no possible way you'll be able to kill me. I've tried all I could and failed in every attempt. Now, only the gods will be able to kill me so I can be free."

"And I'll say it again, you should have more faith in my abilities. You could even send some ancient grimm or something to test me."

"And make you more powerful and therefore a bigger hindrance to my plans? I don't think I will."

"*Shrug* It was worth a shot, would've made it easier than tracking it down. But seriously, gods will only cause trouble and they won't care about what you want them to do, because they believe you are inferior to them. In fact, I bet that they'll destroy all of humanity again and keep you alive just to spite you."

"But it's the only choice I have! And how would you even know how gods are like?"

"Because I'm speaking from experience, Salem. I know, because the gods have wronged me, betrayed me in every step of the way. And that is why I killed them."

"And you expect me to believe something like that when I've lived for as long as I have. I think I would've at least heard rumors of someone that has killed gods."

"You would be correct, if I wasn't from another world. Or at least from a very different era from you."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Do you know the name, The Ghost of Sparta?"

"That name sounds… familiar…" She says before a look of realization appears on her face before looking at me in shock. "You're The Ghost of Sparta?"

"The one and only."

"And what proof do you have?"

"For one, I have mana. Something that seems different from your type of mana. I have these," I say taking out my blades of chaos and igniting them for a few seconds before switching to my claws of hades and summon the dragon grimm I absorbed behind me.

A look of shock appears on her already shook face, "That's the dragon grimm I sent to Beacon on that day… which could only mean that's…"

"The claws of Hades, correct. So do you believe me now?"

"I don't think I have a choice not to. I have proof right here and it looks too real to only be a fabrication of your mind."

"That would be true, now where are you heading next so I can find you?"

"Atlas, I was going for the relic of creation but now it seems I have other plans."

"Well don't change course because that's where I'm going now. How long will it take for you to get there?"

"About a month, the grimm lands is a long ways away from Atlas, or just about anywhere really. And it doesn't help that the grimm I'm using isn't the fastest thing in the world."

"Alright, I'll see you there then. And I'll assume you're sending people in advance."

"Correct, but that'll be for you to figure out and handle. Can't show all my cards to you."

"Fair enough, I'll be going now. I can feel Weiss trying to wake me."

"Until we meet again, Kratos."

"Until we meet again, Salem."

After those words were said, I open my eyes to see Weiss standing in front of me.

"Yes?" I ask.

"Get up, we're almost at Atlas. You can see it in the distance over there." Weiss says pointing to the front window.

And true to her words, I can see a large floating island -Atlas- floating over a city -Mantle- with wires attached to the bottom of the island. We fly over to one of the empty landing areas and after some procedures we finally land. The door opens and we are met with the sight of James, some guards, and a man with white hair, suit, and am ice blue undershirt.

Weiss looks at the white-haired man before walking out of earshot with him.

"Who's he?" I ask James.

"Ms. Schnee's father. And what bring you to Atlas, Dominus?" He asks.

"Well for one, I need you to send an airship to pick up the rest of my group back at Argus." I say.

"And why should I do that?" He questions.

"That, is something we have to talk about in private. And trust me, you're going to want to hear this." I say.

"I see, we can talk in my office, follow me." He says but I interrupt him before he walks away.

"Actually, Weiss is going along as well because she already knows just as the rest of my group also knows." I say.

"Very well, let me go talk to Jacques first." He says as he walks to talk with Weiss' father that I now know as Jacques.

It takes him a minute or two, but he manages to bring Weiss with him. We then both follow him as he starts the walk back to his office. We arrive and his office is the tallest tower in the center of the island with a large landing area in front of the entrance.

"Why didn't we just land here?" I ask.

"Because anything that does land here needs my authorization to do so. And since Ms. Schnee's manor is closer to that landing area where you arrived in, the pilot was instructed to land there." He explains.

I nod and we enter the tower and after some security measures, we enter the elevator before it starts heading up to the top floor. And it took about as long as it did back in Beacon when I was trying to get to Ozpin's office. What is it about people in power always having tall towers and slow elevators anyways?

We arrive at his office, and it has glass walls at the end of the room which overlooks Atlas, a circle in the center of the room with an intricate designs surrounding a smaller blue circle inside it. He sits down at the chair behind his desk.

"Please have a seat so we can get started." He says.

We do so, "Alright, to start things off, Ozpin has finished his little process and is now sharing the mind of a boy named Oscar." I say.

"I see, that's a relief to know he's already back." He says.

"But he's currently locked himself away in the boy's mind for reasons that Weiss will explain to you since she actually listened on that genie's whole story." I say.

"Genie?" He asks.

"Yes, so this is how it goes." And Weiss starts re telling what Jinn told us before.

(Small Timeskip)

"-and she said that Salem can't be killed." Weiss says finishing her long re telling of Ozpin's and Salem's lives.

"… If this is true… if this is true, then what am I supposed to do?" He asks in a fearful tone.

"Keep the casualties to a minimum and I'll handle Salem." I say.

"But… you alone? How do you expect me to entrust my kingdom's safety to one man?" He asks in an understandably doubtful tone.

"I understand your doubts but maybe this will help with it." I say before turning to Weiss. "Don't reveal this to others, understand?" I ask in a commanding tone.

She nods and I turn back to Ironwood before asking him, "Have you ever heard about the Ghost of Sparta?"

It takes a moment for him to think before nodding, "Yes I do, but what does he have to do with our current situation?" He asks.

"The fact that you're looking right at him is what." I say.

"… Excuse me?" He asks in disbelief while Weiss look like she doesn't know how to react.

"Would you like proof?" I ask before receiving a nod from both of them.

I walk over to the middle of the room and take out my claws of hades before summoning a miniature version of the wraith I absorbed during that breach. As I finish summoning the creature, both James and Weiss tense up and look ready to attack.

"There is no need to worry, this thing won't do anything I don't tell it to do" I say and my words only made them relax slightly.

"What is that?" James asks cautiously

"A soul of a wraith I absorbed during that breach at Vale." I say.

I unsummon the wraith and manifest my mana to my hand so that it's visible.

"And that blue energy on your hand is...?" Weiss asks

"Mana, something almost nobody in this era has." I say.

"… I see, I believe that's enough evidence for me. I'll be calling in a ship to pick the rest of your group up." James says still shook.

"And where am I staying?" I ask.

"I'll arrange your living quarters and send you the address through your scroll. Now if you two would kindly leave. I have a lot to think about." He says.

"Alright, I'll inform you if I find out anything new." I say before Weiss and I head to the elevator, leaving James to his thoughts.
