song: "Moonlight Kiss" by Bap Kennedy….from the movie "Serendipity"
based A LOT on the events in Serendipity
I can feel my heart
And it's fit to burst
I try to clean it up
But I just get worse
She skated on the rink, feeling free as she went around in a circle. He watched her from the edge, thinking of how beautiful she looked. He skated up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. She looked up and saw him and smiled and kissed his cheek.
Wish I could fall
On a night like this
Into your lovin' arms
For a moonlight kiss
They skated around the rink, her long brown hair falling onto his back. It started snowing, and as people left the rink slowly until they were the only ones left. She shivered and he held her closer, as close as they could get. Neither of them wanted the moment to end, they wanted it to last forever, just skating in each others arms.
I thought I saw your face
In the evenin' sky
On a lonesome cloud
That was floatin' by
He was in love. He felt like he could hold her forever, never let go. He looked down and saw her beautiful face, her smooth curly brown hair, with speckles of snow that covered the top. Her cheeks were rosy from the cold, and her lips were bright red. She lay in his arms, in complete peace, and all her troubles about House, and the hospital and her grief of her husband was gone, and she was at peace.
You got someone else
Maybe it's for the best
Since I took the cure
For happiness
She leaned against him, trusted him to not let her fall. Trusted him. She hadn't trusted anybody since her husband died. Everybody told her it was going to be okay, he was going to be fine. He died, and with him went her trust of everyone around her. But with Rob, everything was different. He was there for her always, and always held her up, never let her fall.
And I'd trade it all
On a night like this
For your lovin' arms
And a moonlight kiss
He stopped in the middle of the rink and turned her around. She wrapped her arms around his neck and they kissed. And she trusted him. And he loved her. And for that moment, nothing mattered. The world didn't exist. They were one body, one soul. And they stood in the middle of the rink, and fell in each other's loving arms, for a moonlight kiss.
For your lovin' arms
And a moonlight kiss
