(A few days later)

And what a headache it was. The earlier part of the days was spent getting team RWB_ and JN_R comfortable enough to Pyrrha where they can at least work together when grimm attack. The rest of the days were spent just getting them more comfortable with each other with little progress being made each day.

Right now everyone else except for me, Raven and Pyrrha are on missions. It should only do good to take their minds of Pyrrha for a while and just let them process their thoughts on her. Roman and Neo, who were with the group, also just got their crimes pardoned as James kept his word.

"*Sigh* When I cam along with you I did not sign up to watching over a bunch of brats." Raven says as she plops herself down onto the couch.

"Well no one could have predicted this happening. Fighting giant grimm and the such sure, but watching over kids, no one other than the gods could have predicted that."

"But there are no gods to speak of since you killed them all."

"That I did."

"Hey Dominus? I have a question." Pyrrha says as she enters the room with casual clothes.

"What is it?"

"Do you have any more ideas on what I can do with my semblance?"

"Hmm… Why didn't I think of this before. You can try and fly."

"Fly? How am I-" She was about to ask before a look of realization comes on her face. "A moment please." She says before running to her room before returning fully dressed in her armor.

"Ready to try it out?" I ask.

"As ready as I'll ever be! Let's go to the training area." She says excited.

"Are you going to come with us?" I ask Raven.

She shrugs, "Sure, I don't have anything else to do here anyway."

And with that said we head out to the training grounds where Pyrrha and the others usually train their semblances and fighting styles.

"You might as well disable your gravity weights, you still use them don't you?" I ask Pyrrha.

"Mhm, wouldn't even think about disabling it without you saying so." She says before the shirt under her armor glows red before fading away.

"Get used to moving and fighting in normal gravity again and then you can start with trying to fly." I say.

She nods before doing small movements and stretches before crouching down and bolts around the room at breakneck speeds turning herself into a red and gold blur.

"Damn, what kind of training did you put her through? And how much heavier was the gravity for her before?" Raven asks gobsmacked at what she's seeing.

"At this point, I don't know. What I do know is that there are now only a couple of people I know that can still beat her."

"I know you're one of them, but do you think I'd be able to?"

"If you went all out from the start then you might be able to."

"That's reassuring to know that I wont be beaten by a brat. At least not now."

Pyrrha comes to a sudden halt in front of us as the air displaced air catches up and blows past her. "Alright, I'm done warming up." She says.

"Well go ahead then, try and fly. Slowly though." I say.

She nods before her whole armor set glows black before she slowly levitates of the ground. Although wobbly, she's staying up quite nicely. Until suddenly she launches herself up and crashes into the ceiling.

"Ouch… too much power, way too much." She says to herself.

She slowly falls back down before attempting to go up again, and this time she succeeded in not crashing into the ceiling but still higher than she intended.

"Time to enjoy the show." Raven says as Pyrrha crashes into a wall.

(Several hours later)

She's improved quite a lot in the short amount of time, she still isn't able to fly around quickly but she can fly good enough at a moderate speed. And she can also strafe quickly in any direction she wants now.

"That should be enough for now Pyrrha. Go and spar with Raven, I need to do something. And feel free to keep your weights deactivated." I say.

"And what's your reason with leaving me with her?" Ravena asks.

"I need to talk to my new summon, practice my new powers and test out the axe." I say.

"*Sigh* Fine."

I see Pyrrha crouch down about to launch herself at Raven, I slightly nod before saying, "Duck."

Raven only had a few moments before quickly ducking under Pyrrha's punch before she disappeared in a red blur again.

"You wanted this!" Raven shouts before bursting into flames and chasing after her.

I leave them to spar as I head to the edge of Atlas before getting on Ker and fly down to find a secluded enough area to summon the ice beast in. After some flying around I find an area surrounded by mountains with no living thing in sight.

I get off Ker before summoning the ice beast. It slowly materializes in front of me with the usual semi-transparent blue form souls I summon have. It looks around a couple times before looking down at me.

"Who… are you?" It asks in a booming voice and in an understandable way as well.

"I am Kratos." I say and it seems to be thinking.

"That name… I've heard it somewhere before."

"Interesting, do you know the Ghost of Sparta?"

"That name I do know. That's you, isn't it? I don't know anyone that can do this." It says referring to itself.

"Yes, I am the Ghost of Sparta. And what about you, do you have a name?"

"I do not, all people ever call me is a beast, monster, or anything along those lines."

"Then how about I give you a name?"

"That would be appreciated."

"How does Krumos sound?"

"Krumos… I'll take that name."

"Alright, Krumos it is then. Now that we know who you are, I want to ask what you are."

"I am a being that's made from the natural energy of this icy and snowy environment since the early days of this land. At that time creatures like me were quite common but most of my kind were hunted down for their hard shells and valuable cores. I managed to survive and constantly absorb the natural energy around me until I grew into what you see now."

"I see, do you know why this axe was inside your body?" I ask as I take my axe which is mounted on my back.

"That axe came from me? I'm afraid I don't know myself. Perhaps my core developed into that over time."

"Hmm, and why did you say I would regret killing you?"

"That would be because the other ancients would sense me dying and would likely hunt you down when you're anywhere near their territory."

"If I can take you down then I can take them down, especially after the power boost I'm going to get in the near future."

"What do you mean?"

"Do you know who Salem is?"

"It would be strange if I didn't. What does you getting stronger have to do with her?"

"She's going to invade Atlas in probably a few days, and I'm going to use these to kill her." I say as I take out my claws.

"Are those what you used to kill me?"

"They are, I took your soul and that's why I'm able to summon you."

"No wonder that felt so strange. It would be hard to defend yourself against a weapon like that."

"It is, I killed Hades himself with these things."

"Then Salem will stand no chance if even Hades himself was defeated by it."

"She won't. But the whole reason I came here other than to talk to you is to get used to using this axe and the ice powers I got from you."

"Let's get started then, show me what you can do."

(Timeskip)

I practiced using both the axe and ice and I'm quite proficient in using both of them now. I can cover myself in ice that's almost as strong as Krumos' ice if I need to, make snow storms, ice spikes and a lot of other things.

"I'd say that's enough for now, the sun is starting to set."

"Very well, until we meet again next time Kratos."

"Until next time Krumos."

He then fades away before I sit down on the snow.

'What are you doing Kratos?'

'I'm going to have a little chat with Salem, it's been a while.'

He nods and I close my eyes and 'call' Salem. A minute passes and I 'open' my eyes to see the usual black void with the usual couches and coffee already there.

"It's been quite a while hasn't it, Salem?" I say as I sit on the couch.

"Quite some time indeed. Why'd you call me?"

"Just to catch up on things."

"The God of War has time to talk to little old me? I'm honored." She says with a grin and a mock bow.

"*Chuckle* Raise your head mortal."

She does raise her head with that grin never leaving her face. "Anyway, how was that mini-invasion?"

"You have one strange view on the word 'mini' I'll tell you that much. But the gift that came with it made up for it, thanks for that."

"You're welcome, and I see that 2 of my minions were dealt with. *Sigh* And those 2 were supposed to be the better of the bunch. But what's done is done I suppose."

"Mhm, how much longer until you get to Atlas?"

"That eager to meet me? I'm touched. I'll be here tomorrow just for you." She says in an overly exaggerated sweet tone.

"I'll be waiting." I say with a grin before waking up to see that it's already dark out.

'Alright time to head back, need to tell James to prepare for tomorrow.'

Ker nods as I get on him before we fly back to Atlas going back to where we're staying.

'Kratos, I sense an extremely large amount of grimm about north west of us and they're all travelling at a slower speed compared to how fast they could probably travel, it seems they're all following one giant grimm. Is this what you wanted to warn the general about?'

'It is, Salem is coming, and we need to evacuate the people of Mantle and Atlas.'

'Alright, hold on.'

Ker says before he goes into a burst of speed before flying at max speed straight to James' tower. We arrive there in no time while avoiding being detected. I enter and ignore the receptionist and head straight to the tube I went up last time. I got up to James' office and thankfully he's not with anyone. Once he sees me enter from the emergency tube he tenses up.

"What is it?" He asks.

"Ker sensed an extremely large amount of grimm west from here and they're all following one giant grimm and are travelling at a pace that would mean they're arriving tomorrow. Salem is coming, because there is no other reason why grimm would be acting like that."

As I finish a look of shock appears on his face before it's replaced by a look of dread.

"We need to evacuate the people, or at least get them somewhere safe." I say.

"We can use the relic to make bunkers, I'll get some people to make schematics for it. I'm going to prepare the best I can, you should go back and get what rest you can."

"No, I'm staying here and I'm helping."

"Very well, time to get started."
