Five days before the ceremony*

Bella was pacing in front of her youngest sister, mumbling but stopped when she heard her sister scoff. "What's wrong with it?"

"You can't be serious with this, Bella," Cissy rolled her eyes and passed the paper over to Andromeda who started laughing after she pulled her own phone out to snap a picture of the piece of paper in question.

"I was told to pre-write my vows. I'm not seeing what is so funny."

"Bella?" Andy said in between laughs, "did you happen to write this while watching friends?"

Bella crossed her arms over her chest, "your point, Andromeda?"

"Bella," Narcissa grabbed the paper back and brought it over to her oldest sister and pointed to the written words, "you can't just repeat someone else's vows. Not only will Hermione murder you but you need to speak from your own heart, not someone else's heart."

Bella snatched the paper out of her sister's hand, "this is why I'm going to wing this shit," she silently lit the paper on fire in front of them. "I'm going to go up there and say what I feel when I see Hermione standing there, looking at me."

"That doesn't make you nervous?"

"Obviously Andy," she rolled her eyes, "but we all know I work best under pressure." She sat down on the couch, "how did you come up with your vows for Ted?"

"Oh," Andy was caught off guard by the question. It had been years and Bella almost never asked about her marriage. "Well," she shrugged, "I might not be the best example. I just kind of winged it myself. I think Dora did the same. Maybe it runs in the Black family." They both looked up at Narcissa.

"Mother wrote my vows."

"How special," Bella deadpanned. "Well thankfully Mother is dead so that plan is out. I could ask Minerva what she thinks. Or maybe Lovegood. She could probably whip up some vows."

"Absolutely not," Narcissa sounded almost offended. "We could help you."

"But?"

"But," Cissy sat down, "maybe it is best if you just say whatever you feel in the moment and we will all pray to Merlin that you don't fuck it up and end up dead."

"Hermione wouldn't kill me," Bella rolled her eyes.

"That's debatable," Andy laughed, "but seriously, just say whatever is in your heart. It worked for me and for Dora. She and I both said something along the lines of soul mates and endless love. You know all that mushy bullshit. I think you'll figure it out."

"That's what I said to you a month ago," Bella turned to glare at Cissy, "women love mushy bullshit. But no. You insisted that I had to pre write this shit. Fuck it. I'm going to wing it and Hermione won't have any clue."

"Sure, she won't," Cissy patted Bella's leg.

"No clue at all," Andy joined in patting her other leg.

"NO!" A frustrated shout came from down the hall. The three sisters took off in the direction of the voice and stopped just outside of the ballroom, "this isn't at all right." Hermione threw her hands up and stepped out of the way of an apologetic looking older woman who was being followed by her staff, arranging the seats and tables. "It was meant to be black and green with silver accents."

"Fun! A birthday party!" Teddy announced coming in and seeing all the bright multitude of colors adorning the decorations.

Hermione gave the boy an exasperated smile. "This isn't at all what we asked for," she turned to the woman who looked like she was in charge.

"I have here," the older woman pulled out her clipboard, "'colors don't matter, it could be fucking rainbow for Merlin's sake just make her happy' written on a piece of parchment."

"No," Bella's eyes went wide. "That was the joke order. Surely you got my real order. I talked to some idiot guy on the phone. What was his name?" Bella was scanning her memory. "Tim? John? I don't know. Some fucking generic man. I told him black and green with a touch of silver. What's the name on the order?" She walked over to the lady and snatched the piece of paper. "Cody? What the hell kind of name is Cody?"

A young looking man from the crowd raised his hand, "that's me. I remember talking to you on the phone."

"Well Cody," Bella snapped, "you know who I am right?"

"Bellatrix Black, ma'am."

"That's right and do you know who she is?" She nodded towards Hermione.

"Minister Granger, ma'am."

"Okay so you do have a brain," she scoffed. "Cody, do you remember when I said this," she held up the original order, "was a joke? We laughed. Then I yelled at you for laughing. Do you remember that?" He nodded and gulped, "well then how did that minuscule little brain of yours forget the very next sentence, "if you fuck up the order I'll kill you myself?'" She pulled her wand out and held it under Cody's chin.

"Come Teddy," Andy pulled her grandson out of the room but she could still be heard, "Auntie Bella and Auntie Hermione need a little time to sort through some big feelings they are having."

"Aww," Teddy pouted, "but Auntie Cissy gets to stay."

"Auntie Cissy is there to make sure Auntie Hermione doesn't hurt Auntie Bella," she cackled. "Let's go fly."

"Yay," the joyous cheers of the boy could be heard as he ran down the hall.

"Bella?" Hermione crossed her arms and gave her fiancé a look that made the dark witch question every life choice she made up until that moment.

"Yes my understanding, patient, forgiving and one true love?" She tried to give her the best innocent eyes she could muster but by the look Hermione was giving her she was failing miserably.

"You had one job. We had already discussed the decor, seating, table arrangements and colors. All you had to do was call the order in."

"Two jobs. I was also in charge of the honeymoon which is going to be stellar if you are still going to marry me that is," she mumbled the last part when she saw Hermione wasn't in the mood to joke around. "Is it my fault if Cody can't take a joke? He's the one who fucked up here."

"Yes, Bella." Hermione sighed. "It is entirely your fault this time."

Bella nodded her head and turned to the woman in charge, "how can I fix this now?"

"The wedding is in what five days?" The lady shook her head, "we could have this turned around in three days time but it's going to be quite expensive since we'd have to pull all of our staff from every other project they are currently working on."

"I don't care about the money," Bella waved her wand and produced bags full of galleons. "Make it happen," she grabbed Hermione's hand and pulled her out of the ballroom towards the library and stopped once she closed the door behind them. "I am so sorry," she said in her most earnest voice. "Clearly my joke wasn't taken in the light it was meant and yes this is entirely my fault. I just need you to know that this isn't a joke to me. I intend to marry you because I truly love you with my whole heart. You are the best thing that's happened to me and honestly I never expected my life to take the turn it did. I don't deserve you but I am thankful everyday I wake up with you in my arms."

Hermione leaned in and brushed her lips against Bella's, "you definitely should wing your vows."

"How did you know?"

"Bellatrix Druella Black? Pre-write her vows? Well that's just not your style," Hermione smiled at her fiancé. "Just promise me you won't murder Cody."

Bella sighed dramatically, "fine. He gets a one time pass but I'm keeping my eye on him."

A knock sounded on the door and Cissy came inside, "they left the tables and the chairs but took everything else with them including the bags of galleons. I didn't catch her name but the woman in charge said they would be back in three days' time. I told her it would be in her best interest to arrive on time. We can't protect Cody forever."

"He doesn't need your coddling," Bella scoffed, leading them back towards the ballroom. "One more slip up from Cody and it's the killing curse for him."

———

Four days before the ceremony*

Bella made her way into the office in a hurry. She had originally scheduled time off this week to help around the Manor, since Hermione had just started her Minister career and was waiting to take off for the honeymoon. Bella insisted Hermione work up until the wedding because she wasn't going to give up any of her honeymoon days. "What happened?" She walked over to Kate and Draco's desks.

"Looks like he's back," Draco pointed to the report sent in by the aurors. "This just came in minutes ago. We were going to get ready to go assess the scene."

Bella picked up the report and took it into her office motioning for the two officers to follow her. "Sit," Bella commanded, pointing to the chairs. She sat behind her desk and scanned over the auror report. Of course the bastard would strike again. "Why did it have to be now," she rolled her eyes. "I guess even serial killers don't care that it's my wedding week. Rude but whatever," she rolled her eyes and looked at her nephew. "Go check out the scene. I want a full write up. Look for any clues and see if it's the same perp based on past crime scenes." Then she turned towards Kate, "don't. We are not going forward with the undercover plan until I get back into the office. It's too risky for you to go out there regardless of my presence or not but I can't let you take that risk when I'm not even here to say I told you so. Got it?"

"Bella," Kate rolled her eyes, "I can handle this."

"I don't doubt that but," Bella shrugged, "this doesn't happen until I get back. The two of you are a team and you won't do anything risky while I'm not here. Everything goes through Potter in my absence and even if he approves of your dumb ideas you need to think 'hmm is this something auntie Bella would kick my ass over?' And if the answer is yes then it's in your best interest to change tactics."

"But."

"Don't," Draco held his hand up and leaned in to whisper to Kate. "Yes this is truly awful and no I don't know why this is so personal for you but I don't want you to risk it and die anymore than Aunt Bella does. Let's just go assess the scene and come up with things we can do while Bella is out of the office. Maybe you, me and Potter can sort something out. She doesn't need any more stress right now. Please."

"Fine," Kate sighed. "Are you sure you aren't the hufflepuff here?"

"Hey!"

"Now now kids." Bella handed the report back across, "while Draco does have puff tendencies, he is most definitely a slytherin. Go on and get out of here. I expect a full report after you assess the scene. Send it to the Manor by owl. I have somewhere to be after I leave here. Be careful."

Draco and Kate made their way out of the office bickering like siblings as they left the department. Bella shook her head and chuckled, "fucking kids."

"You care for her."

"If you ever tell anyone, I'll kill you myself, Potter and deny it all."

"How many years have you been threatening my death now?"

"Is it any less effective?"

"Not at all," they both laughed. "Are you excited for the wedding?"

"I'm excited for the honeymoon," Bella smirked. "You and Luna are staying at the Manor the night before the wedding right? After we research how to eat or whatever the fuck that means."

"The rehearsal dinner? I thought that was just a muggle tradition."

Bella sighed, "the extended Granger family is coming over to the Manor for two nights. It'll be a miracle if I make it to the wedding at all. Merlin, help us all."

"Grandma Granger?"

"Should I be worried?"

Harry laughed, "just be your charming self and I'm sure you'll be fine."

"The laugh isn't too reassuring, Potter," she shook her head and stood up. "All right. I have to go pick something up from my sister. I'll see you in a few days. Keep an eye on Kate for me. I have a feeling she's going to do something stupid when I'm gone."

"I'll do my best. You know those hufflepuffs."

"Fucking out of control… and Dumbledore thought Slytherins and Gryffindors were the wild ones," Bella patted Harry on the shoulder before making her way out of the department.

Bella walked into St. Mungos and proceeded to the Potions floor without a second thought. She saw Andy pacing around outside of the lab doors and stopped to give her a dirty look. "I wouldn't go in there if I were you," Andy said in a sing-song voice.

"Well good thing I'm not you. I have something to retrieve and limited time to do so," Bella was stopped by Andy clearing her throat. "What Andromeda?"

"You should wait a minute," Andy smirked.

"I don't have a minute," Bella growled and pushed the door open, getting an eye full of her sister being pushed up against the back wall by her girlfriend. They appeared to be lost in the throes of passion. "Merlin Cissy… at work?" She scoffed as her sister pulled herself away from her girlfriend.

"I told her not to come in," Andy cackled.

"Worst lookout ever," Aviya straightened her shirt.

"Hey," Andy said defensively, "I tried to stop her."

"I'm going to go obliviate myself," Bella shuddered at the thought of her baby sister being ravished against a wall.

"At least we didn't see either of their asses," Andy chimed in.

"A small victory," Bella deadpanned. "Cissy, do I have permission to go get that thing we made and to obliviate myself and pretend I never saw any of this?" Bella turned on her heel and went full speed out of the lab and straight into her sister's office.

"Bella wait," Cissy gave an apologetic look to her girlfriend and rushed past her other sister stopping to smack her upside the head on her way out.

"You could've stopped her," Aviya came over to the remaining Black sister.

"I could've but how would that have been fun for me?"

"Really not helping me get into good graces with Bellatrix."

"Oh Aviya," Andy laughed, "there's no hope for you with Bella, honey. You better pray she obliviates herself." She saw Aviya visibly gulp. "The amount of growth she's gone through is outstanding though. She would've lit Lucius on fire if she saw the two of them like that," Andy shrugged and made her way out of the lab leaving Aviya with her mouth open. "Close your mouth. You'll catch Phoenix shit with the hanging open," she called back into the stunned woman.

Narcissa walked into her office and saw Bella squatting down looking into the closet. "I put protections up to keep out anyone but me. I didn't want to chance the potion getting messed up." Bella didn't respond, she just moved over and waited for Cissy to retrieve the potion. "I'm sorry you walked in on that. We don't usually slip up like that at work and it was not my intention for anyone to see."

"You really like this woman?" Bella asked softly.

"I really do."

"If I ever see her doing that to you again…"

"You'll perform some sort of unforgivable. I already know. It won't happen again. I promise."

"Good because if you like her so much I'd hate to have to kill her."

"Are you ever going to go easy on her?"

Bella smirked, "never." She pointed to the hiding spot, "now, my potion please."

"I can't wait to be an Auntie again," Cissy smiled as she undid the protection enchantments. "Here," she reached down and grabbed the potions. She had split the potion into two small bottles. "One bottle is one dose. Remember you both need to take it. And…"

"We both need to have an orgasm. Don't worry about my ability to perform, Cissy." She grabbed the potions and put them in a small box. "Thank you." Bella stood and shrunk the box until it fit in one of her skirt pockets. "Are you sure I can do this?"

"Do what?"

"This?" She pointed to the pocket the box was in.

"You are going to be an amazing mother," she reassured her sister. "Let's just all pray Hermione gets pregnant."

"If it ends up being me, I'll kill you myself."

"If it ends up being you, we are all in for an adventure."

Three days until the ceremony*

It was only a few days in her tenure as Minister for Magic and Hermione was overwhelmed with the amount of policies, procedures and emergencies that were sent her way. Thankfully, Bella was handling everything at the Manor. After the mix up with Cody, everything had been running smoothly as far as she was aware. She was looking forward to the upcoming break to clear her head and reset. Hermione was convinced she'd come back into the office refreshed and ready to tackle everything. There was a knock at the door, "come in," Hermione said and her secretary came in looking frazzled. "Are you okay?"

"Well, yes," the woman still seemed concerned. "There is a woman here to see you and she's very adamant that she won't wait."

Hermione rolled her eyes. "Is it Bella? Tell her I'm busy."

"It's not Madam Black."

"Oh well, is it a ministry official or anything like that?"

"No Minister, I've never seen this woman before but she insists that she knows you and refuses to leave. I even threatened security and she responded by telling me who your fiancé is."

Hermione was frustrated with the interruption but told her secretary to give her a moment then to let the person in. There was another knock on the door signaling the visitor had arrived. "Come in," Hermione called out, not looking up from a proposal she was reviewing.

"Took you long enough. I really thought I was going to have to have Bella come beat that woman up," Ginny smirked when the realization finally hit Hermione's face. "I mean what's a woman gotta do to get an appointment with the Minister for Magic?"

"Ginny?!" Hermione got up and walked around to embrace her friend. "I wasn't expecting you until the day of the ceremony! Don't take this the wrong way but what are you doing here?"

"Way to make a girl feel wanted," she joked. "I just took an extended vacation."

"You quit the team?"

"No," Ginny let out a little laugh. "I'm nowhere near done with the team. I just feel like I've been missing so much at home. I haven't been around since your accident really and barely have seen little Freddy other than in pictures. I just need a little home time."

"Please tell me you visited Freddy before coming here."

"Oh of course," Ginny rolled her eyes, "mom would've been furious otherwise. He's so cute. George told me that Bella is in love with the baby. Is that true?"

"I wouldn't say she's in love. She did take quite a liking to the baby though," Hermione's cheeks blushed. "She spent some time with him over at Harry's and when she came home she told me she wants to have children with me." She noted the look of surprise on her friend's face. "I know! I was just as shocked as you are."

"Honeymoon babies?"

"Oh gosh, Ginny. I don't think so. We haven't even talked about it after that one conversation. We haven't asked anyone to help with the potion. I'm not even sure Bella will want this when it comes down to it."

"Hey," Ginny looked serious, "Bella is one crazy witch but she wouldn't have said that she wanted to have children with you if she didn't mean it. From my time with her, she always means what she says and follows through."

"I guess you are right but with the election and the serial killer, we've both been too preoccupied. Not to mention the wedding planning," she smacked her forehead, "and also not to mention her almost killing one of the decorators earlier this week."

"Now," Ginny took a seat opposite the desk, "that's a story I need to hear. Sit, please it's been too long."

Hermione had spent the afternoon with Ginny lost in conversation, learning all the sorted details hidden in the Holyhead Harpies. Life on the Quidditch pitch seemed to be Ginny's calling though she did express how much she missed life at home and the emptiness she feels sometimes being on the road. Hermione encouraged her to follow her heart and maybe it would lead her back to London one day. After Ginny had left to go visit with her family, Hermione had sent a patronus home to Bella to let her know she had been with her friend and she would have to stay late at work to finish up what she didn't get to accomplish in the afternoon. It was nearing midnight when she finally made it back to the Manor. Walking past the ballroom, she peaked inside and saw that the decorations and table settings were immaculate. Everything was just how she pictured it and she felt only a small semblance of guilt that she couldn't be around to help Bella sort through all of the last minute wedding preparations. She shook the guilt away, she climbed the stairs and quietly made her way inside the bedroom. The lights were out and she could make out the shape of Bella sleeping peacefully on her side of their huge California king bed. "How did I get so lucky?" She asked herself quietly and she stripped her work clothes off and put on a pair of sleep shorts and pulled one of Bella's old quidditch shirts over her head. She walked over to her side and crawled in behind her soon to be wife. She folded herself around the warm body in front of her and felt the older witch stir slightly but not wake. Hermione kissed Bella on the neck and nuzzled into her warmth and she felt the exhaustion overtake her. "I love you," she murmured. "Ginny asked about babies. I hope you and I can talk about it soon. I'm ready to be a mom."

Hermione was drifting off to sleep when she felt Bella relax back into her body and whispered quietly, "I am too, pet."

—————

Two days before the ceremony*

"What have I gotten myself into?" Bella looked around the family room as the clan of Grangers were entering through the fireplace one by one. Hermione and Andromeda were taking turns bringing each member through the fireplace as most of them had no idea that travel by fireplace was even a thing. Bella was sitting in a chair watching their faces as they entered the large room, taking in the sights. She swore she heard one of the muggles ask where the television was located. She would offer a kind hello to each of them but not engage them in any further conversation. Bella was just praying to make it through the next few days and it would be smooth sailing to the honeymoon. Last night when she was asleep she swore Hermione had come in and started talking about children but she wasn't sure if it was a dream. She made a note to pack the potions for the honeymoon just in case the conversation took place naturally. She wasn't planning on bringing it up with the Minister job being so fresh and Hermione's stress levels but if that's what the girl wanted she would be ready. Finally Jack came through the fireplace, "Merlin, a familiar one," Bella sighed as she got up and went over to Jack. "You are a sight for sore eyes in the sea of muggles here, Jack."

"I thought this might be a little overwhelming for you. It's just Katherine and my mom left to come through then that's it. What," he counted the family, "a total of 15 muggles? I apologize in advance but it's so nice of you to open your home to everyone."

"It's a big Manor with plenty of rooms to fill. Of course you are welcome to stay as long as you'd like. And you've already made arrangements with Andy and Cissy to see you back home the day after the wedding?" Jack nodded. "Good. Is it okay if Twiggy shows everyone their rooms or will a house elf be too shocking for the muggles?" She saw the smile on Jack's face. "I mean the Granger family. Sorry."

"Muggles are okay," Jack laughed, "and so are the house elves. We sat them all down and talked about the magical things they might see over the next two days so no worries. Plus, I like Twiggy. She is a sweet little elf."

"Indeed she is," Bella gulped when she saw Hermione come through the fire holding onto who she assumed to be Grandma Granger.

"Don't worry about her," Jack grabbed Bella's hand and began pulling her over, "she'll love you." They stopped in front of the pair, "mom, this is Bellatrix Black, Hermione's fiancé. Bella, this is Jean Granger, my mom."

Bella held out her hand and the older woman embraced it, "it's a pleasure to meet you ma'am."

"Please call me Grandma or Jean. Ma'am makes me feel old," she laughed. "I've never come through a fireplace before. It was quite the experience."

"It can be jarring the first time," Bella let go of her hand. "At least you didn't have to apparate here."

"Katherine told me all about that. She said it makes her so ill."

"It's true," Katherine exited the fireplace right before Andy came through and closed off the seal for the night. Any other guests would apparate or come through the main floo or the one in the library. "It feels awful. I'll never get used to it. The fireplace is a bit less jarring."

Grandma Granger turned back to Bella, "how old are you dear?"

"Umm," Bella was flustered and Hermione noted how she started scratching behind her ear.

"Younger than me and Katherine, mom." Jack stepped up, "you know it's rude to ask someone their age."

"I was only asking because Hermione mentioned she was older but never mentioned how much older and you dear," she looked Bella up and down, "don't look much older than your late thirties."

"An ego boost," Andy walked up and rolled her eyes, "the absolute last thing this old hag needs," she nodded towards her sister.

"That's not a very nice thing to say about your sister who from what I hear has graciously accepted you and your grandson into her home out of the goodness of her heart."

Andy's jaw dropped as she scrambled for something to say while Bella's shit eating grin grew bigger by the second. She turned back to the elder Granged, "I like you very much. I'll show you to your room myself. Twiggy?" Bella called out to fetch her house elf.

"Yes mistress Bella?"

"Please see to it that the rest of the guests are accompanied to their rooms. I will show Jean to hers. Jack and Katherine," she turned to her soon to be parents in law, "you remember the way on your own?" After receiving a nod of approval, "perfect. Shall we?" She offered her arm to Jean who took it. She leaned in to whisper to Andy, "Phoenix shit, Andy. Don't drool all over my floor."

Dinner with a group of muggles was an experience that Bella never wanted to have again after the wedding of course. Luckily she was sitting between Hermione and Jack so she felt a sense of calm. Andy kept giving her dirty looks throughout the meal, still pouting over the words of Jean. Teddy was happily talking to everyone, telling them about his school, quidditch and dragons. The muggles looked lost and confused but smiled and took interest in what he had to say. Hermione was an only child so there weren't any other young children at the dinner but that didn't stop Teddy from talking to whoever would listen to him. Andy mouthed, "just like his mother" to her sister. Jack had encouraged the family to bring muggle alcohol with them because elvish wine was as he called it "advanced liquor." The muggles were drinking some funny tasting water and Hermione told her to go slow drinking it. She called the funny muggle water, "vodka" and Bella whispered back "tastes like shitty tap water to me." She pushed the glass with the vodka aside and stuck to her fire whiskey. Teddy had gotten a few of the younger muggles interested in quidditch so he took them outback to show them his brooms and all the equipment. "No flying unless you come get me or aunt Bella," Andy called after him to which he rolled his eyes and responded, "okay granny."

"That kid is going places," Bella laughed as she approached Andy and sat next to her in the library. The muggles were gathered around the transfigured tables in the library playing various board games. Jack had tried to get Bella to play monopoly with them and she politely declined saying, "it's probably not a great first impression for me to set fire to the boardgame in front of all of the extended Grangers." Bella and Andy were sitting on one of the couches muggle watching. "What strange conversations they have."

"At the dinner table, Hermione's uncle spoke to me about a television show for over 30 minutes. I have no idea what he was talking about but I'm pretty sure he's ruined it for me if I ever wanted to watch it."

"What show was it?"

"No idea," Andy shrugged.

Bella cackled then quickly straightened up as the elder Granger approached the pair, "Jean. Did you enjoy dinner?"

"Yes," she said as she sat across from them. "It was quite lovely. I didn't know what to expect in the magical world but it seems food is food no matter the context." She turned towards Andy, "you aren't giving your lovely sister anymore trouble now are you dear?"

"No, Ms. Granger," Andy said through a gritted smile.

"She's always giving me trouble," Bella sighed dramatically, "but I've learned to live with it over the years." The older woman tutted at the sentence. "I've long since given up on the notion of Andromeda being nice to me." She knew was laying it on thick but she almost never got the chance to be the favorite Black daughter. Thank Merlin, Cissy wasn't here to gain the spotlight. "It's much the same with my youngest sister I'm afraid."

"You poor dear," Jean leaned over and patted Bella's knee. "You are a lovely young woman and my Hermione is lucky to have found you." She stood up from her seat, "it's getting late and this old woman needs her beauty rest."

"Would you like me to escort you to your room, Jean?" Bella asked, starting to stand when Grandma Granger stopped her.

"No thank you dear. You've been far too accommodating to us muggles all day. Stay here and spend time with your wife. I shall see everyone in the morning," she started to walk away before turning to look at Andy, "I'll be keeping my eye on you all weekend Ms. Tonks."

Once Jean was out of the room, Bella turned to Andy and smirked. "Looks like I found my new favorite person. Grandma Granger loves me and hates you. Finally, The world is finally as it should be. Bellatrix Druella Black is the all time favorite sister."

"Oh laugh it up now," Andy folded arms over her chest, "once Ms. Granger meets Cissy tomorrow you'll be knocked back down. Everybody always pales in comparison to her."

"Not a chance," Bella scoffed, "I already thought this through. I'm not giving up my first place status so easily. I plan to treat Jean to a tour of the gardens tomorrow and let her know how mean Cissy is to me as well," she cackled, getting the attention of the others in the library.

"Are you two behaving?" Katherine asked, looking up from their game of monopoly.

"Andy and Bella?" Hermione responded, "not a chance, mom."

one day before the ceremony*

Hermione's eyes fluttered open as the sun began to sneak in through the darkened curtains. She felt the strong arms around her stomach pulling her in closer while soft lips ghost just behind her ear. "One more night," Hermione groaned and she stretched her tired limbs while turning to face her fiancé.

"You have no idea how much I'm looking forward to tomorrow night, pet." Bella nipped at Hermione's lower lip. "I've already packed the bags for the honeymoon. Both of them. Suitcases are over there. I didn't pack many clothes."

"Is that so?" Hermione snaked her arm around Bella's waist and trailed her hand down to squeeze her ass.

"I'm not planning on leaving the bed for a day or two," Bella said between open mouth kisses to Hermione's jaw. "It's been far too long since I've properly pleasured you and I intend to take my time and explore every inch of your body." She ran her hand up Hermione's body, capturing her chin between her thumb and her finger, tilting her head back so she could explore her neck more thoroughly.

Hermione moaned, "no hickeys," she managed to say but her body was betraying her words as her hips started to jerk forward against Bella's thigh.

"There are spells to cover hickeys, pet," she sucked on a particularly sensitive spot on her neck.

"My grandma," Hermione squeaked out when Bella bit on her pulse point. She felt the older witch chuckle against her neck.

"Nothing dries a woman up faster than talking about grandmas in bed," she pulled back to give her fiancé a smirk.

"No stop," Hermione playfully swatted her shoulder. "You know what I mean. We aren't even supposed to be doing this. Let alone if this mark stay and we have to answer to my grandmother."

"Your grandma loves me," Bella lifted her chin. "She thinks I'm the best Black sister. Can't say I disagree."

"I can't say I disagree either," she kissed the corner of the dark witch's mouth. "One more night."

Bella sighed and shut her eyes, "fine," she breathed out. "I'm going to go take care of this in the shower," she smirked and sat up, kissing Hermione on the forehead as she cackled and made her way out of the room.

Hermione rolled her eyes as she watched Bella disappear into the bathroom. She had an uncomfortable ache between her own legs and at this point she wasn't even sure masturbating would do her any good. She sighed and relented, getting out of bed for the day, her own need on hold for one more day. "She'll just have to give me what I need tomorrow," she said walking over to the dresser.

Bella poked her head back out of the bathroom, "count on it, pet," she chuckled and went back into the bathroom.

Bella hid for the most the afternoon after taking Jean on her tour of the gardens. There was far too much muggle activity throughout the Manor and she wasn't feeling comfortable. She found herself in the kitchens checking in on the house elves to make sure everything was coming along for the dinner that was in a few hours when she spotted a familiar little elf face in the crowd. "Winky? You made it." Bella smiled as the small elf approached her.

"Winky is honored to be part of Mistress Bella and Mistress Hermione's big day. Anything Winky can do for you?"

"No Winky. How are you finding your room? Everyone treating you okay?"

"You want to know of my stay?" The elf squeaked, "it's been wonderful here miss. Everyone has been so kind and Twiggy has shown Winky what's expected of her and the room Winky is in is more than she could ever have hoped for."

"You know Winky," Bella sat on the little bench under the window and patted the spot next to her for Winky to hop up on, which she did. "We would love it if you came and worked for us full time."

"Mistress Hermione told Winky you might try to get her to stay."

"Did she now?"

"Oh Winky wasn't supposed to say that," she looked nervous and scared.

"It's okay Winky. Hermione was right. I'd love for you to be a part of the family. I know you love your job at Hogwarts but you see," Bella looked around to make sure nobody was listening before leaning over and whispering into Winky's ear, "Hermione and I are going to start trying to have babies soon and I think Twiggy would appreciate the extra help."

A small gasp was heard from the elf, "babies miss?"

"Possibly more than one and hopefully soon. We would love for you to come work and live here." She leaned back in and whispered the salary to the little elf as well as the paid time off and health benefits. The little elf squeaked and looked up with big eyes. "Think about it okay?"

"What about the headmistress?"

"I can sort everything out with McGonagall. Don't worry about her. Think about what you want, Winky. Maybe talk to Twiggy and see how she likes living and working here. We can talk about what you decide when Hermione and I get back from our vacation. How does that sound?"

"Winky will think it over," she smiled at Bella.

"Excellent," Bella leaned down and hugged the small creature. "Do make sure you enjoy the ceremony. Don't let them work you too hard after all I wanted you here as my guest not as staff."

Bella and Hermione were getting dressed in their room preparing for the evening ahead of them, "what are we researching again at dinner tonight?" Bella asked and she zipped up the back of Hermione's long black cocktail dress.

Hermione tried to suppress her laugh, looking at Bella through the mirror, "it's not a research dinner, my love. It's called the rehearsal dinner."

"So instead of researching how to eat, we will be rehearsing how to eat? What purpose does this serve?" She slipped her dark green corset over her black dress and started to expertly tighten the strings.

"I don't think it does serve any purpose."

"Then why are we doing it?"

"It's a muggle tradition. My family specifically asked for a rehearsal dinner. Honestly, I think it's just an excuse for my family to meet all of your family and some of our friends before tomorrow. Make sure nobody kills each other."

Bella cackled, "oh pet, if I was going to kill someone rehearsing how to eat wouldn't stop me."

Hermione laughed and kissed her fiancé's cheek, "the rehearsing part refers to when the muggles rehearse the ceremony. We don't need to do that because Magical weddings are a little different."

"Not much though," Bella shrugged, "though I'd hate to have to give my vows twice."

"Because you haven't written them?" Hermione raised an eyebrow.

"I guess you'll find out tomorrow," she finished tying her corset and gave herself a once over in the mirror. "Good?" She turned to look at Hermione who smiled and nodded. "Then let's get this over with. The sooner we sleep, the sooner tomorrow happens and the sooner we get to the sex," she grabbed Hermione's hand and pulled her into the hallway.

They walked downstairs and into the library where they were met by Jack, Katherine, Andy and Narcissa. "Where's the other one?"

"Aviya is on the pitch with Harry, Luna and Teddy. Honestly Bella. Try to be civil tonight," Cissy rolled her eyes but came over to hug her sister.

"No promises. I'm only here to rehearse eating."

"Where are you sleeping tonight?" Andy smirked.

"In my bed where I always sleep." She turned to Hermione, "what kind of stupid fucking question is that?"

"You can't share a bed tonight." Cissy spoke up.

"And why is that?" Bella crossed her arms.

"Tradition."

"The house is full of Grangers plus you and your girlfriend, the Potters, Draco and Astoria. Where am I meant to go?"

Andy's devilish smile came into sight beside Narcissa, "there's room in my bed sis."

"No," Bella shook her head. "Absolutely not. I'd rather take my chances out on the quidditch pitch with a pack of baby hippogriffs than share a bed with you." She turned to Hermione, "is this important to you?"

Hermione gave her a sorrow filled smile, "I think it's important to the family."

Bella sighed, "I'll work it out myself," she held her hand up to stop Andy, "no. It's not happening."

"There's still a couple of rooms on the third floor that aren't in use," Hermione added.

"Great," Bella rolled her eyes, "all alone on the cold, third floor. Happy research dinner to me."

"That's the spirit," Andy cackled. "If you change your mind, you know where to find me."

"Ladies," Jack approached, "ready to go? The dinner is supposed to start in a few minutes and I'm pretty sure they can't have it without any of you."

"Sure dad," Hermione took his extended arm as Bella stayed behind with Cissy.

"Did you meet Grandma Granger?"

"Yes," Cissy smiled, "she doesn't seem to like Andy very much does she?"

"It's the wedding gift that keeps on giving," Bella cackled, looping her arm in Cissy's and making their way to the extended dining room. She smiled at her nephew and his wife as well as the Potters. At this particular meal, Bella was at one head of the table and Hermione was all the way down at the other end so Bella requested the elves put her by Luna and Harry. She didn't care who else was around but if she was going to make it through the evening she needed to be by Luna. When she walked by the blonde, she patted her quickly on the head and took her seat. Hermione nodded towards her and Bella playfully rolled her eyes before clinking her knife against her water glass and standing. "I was told I needed to make some sort of speech and welcome everyone here tonight. The whole thought of rehearsing eating is a strange one to me but I'm told it's some sort of tradition so here we are. The Black family and my close friends," she nodded towards Harry and Luna, "welcome the Granger family into our house with open arms. It's truly a pleasure to meet you all. Now I fear that if I keep talking I'll say something inappropriate so please everyone enjoy the delicious meal the elves have prepared," she held up her glass in which everyone else clinked their glasses together and the food magically appeared on the table catching a few of the Grangers off guard. She sat down and looked at Luna. "Somethings different. You are acting strange. Strange for you, I mean. Are you well?"

"What do you mean?" Harry looked nervous.

"I believe I was talking to your wife," she set Harry with a look before turning back to Luna. "What's different about you tonight?"

"Well," Luna leaned in to whisper, "I just found out that I'm pregnant. We didn't want to tell anyone just yet but I guess you have some sort of intuition," she sat back up straight in her seat. "Or the nargles gave it away."

Bella reached out and grabbed her friend's hand, "congratulations. Your secret is safe with me." She turned to look at Potter, "congratulations to you as well I suppose though I'm not sure you contributed much. Take care of her or you'll have to answer to me."

"Baby Potter is my top priority," Harry smiled at Bella then his face quickly changed when he saw the look he was getting from the older witch.

"You still need to babysit Kate while I'm gone. If she does something stupid I'm going to kill you and Luna will be forced to come live with us," she watched Harry gulp. "Keep that in mind Potter."

The rest of the dinner went by without complaint. The Grangers were enjoying a tour of the garden given by Cissy and Andy while Teddy, Harry and Draco were zooming around the Quidditch pitch. Hermione, Luna and Astoria were downstairs in the library with Jack, Katherine and Jean chatting about their days at Hogwarts. That left Bella peacefully alone on the second floor balcony of the library to watch over all of the activities. She was using the sextant she gave Hermione on their first Valentine's Day together to star gaze. She heard heavy footsteps approaching her from behind then a voice, "Bellatrix, the third brightest star in Orion the Hunter."

Bella put the sextant down but didn't turn around, "oh it's you. Why aren't you on the tour or playing Quidditch or something? I'm trying to relax out here and you've made that near impossible now."

"Do you really hate me that much?"

She turned around to face the other woman, "I hate anyone who happens to be dating either of my sisters," she crossed her arms not backing down.

Aviya sighed, "I get that. I have a sister too and I'd kill anyone who tried to date her."

"Then we have an understanding."

"I wanted to apologize for the other day at the lab," she smiled internally when she saw Bella roll her eyes.

"I thought I dismissed you."

"You did but I just wanted to let you know that we aren't just fooling around at work and it's not a casual thing. I'm in love with your sister and I intend to prove myself to you and the family one way or another."

"For fuck sake. A Gryffindor. Perfect just what the family needs. Another bloody Gryffindor."

"I'm not sure what that means. I didn't go to Hogwarts but from your tone I'll take that as a compliment," Aviya smirked.

"You shouldn't. That means I inherently hate you even more."

"I love Narcissa and I'm determined to make you like me and fuck it I'll die trying at this point. Her happiness means the world to me and if that means groveling at your feet then I guess that's what I have to do."

Bella's smirk grew, "groveling at my feet? I do love it when people beg. Hmm," she pretended to think, "I suppose I might come around in the future." Aviya sighed and started to walk away but turned around when she heard Bella speak, "you truly love her?"

"I truly do."

"If you break her heart I'll rip yours clean out of your chest. Are we clear?"

"As crystal."

"I don't hate you," Bella looked at her fingernails out of boredom, "but that doesn't mean I have to like you."

"I can work with that," Aviya smiled and came back over to the railing and pointed to the sextant. "May I?"

Bella nodded and Aviya picked it up and began stargazing. "If I ever see you in a compromising position with my sister again I will kill you."

"Fair enough."

Bella found herself in a dark empty room on the third floor. The room was decorated well enough but it seemed cold and empty without her fiancé. Sleep was evading her as the events of tomorrow were running rampant through her head. In less than 24 hours she would be a married woman again only this time she actually was looking forward to the possibilities of what could happen next. She laid on top of the bed in a dressing gown thinking back to the night before her first wedding. Bella had spent the entire night thinking of ways she could run away without getting caught. She was already indebted to Voldemort by that point so she knew that she wouldn't be able to leave. That was the night she had given up the last ounce of her freedom when she had become a Lestrange. She fully embraced the madness as it slowly crept into her mind during the subsequent years. If she could travel back and tell her 19 year old self that everything would be worth it, well truthfully her younger self would've killed her but deep down, Bella never thought she deserved a happy ending.

She chuckled. Every dream she never knew that she had was about to come true all because of a plucky little Gryffindor witch who walked into her life and showed her the true meaning of family. She conjured the time which appeared before her. The clock read half past one in the morning. "Fuck I better try to get some sleep. Maybe Twiggy has a sleeping potion." Just as she was about to call on her elf, she noticed a little blue wisp under the crack of her door. A small knock sounded then the door opened revealing Hermione standing with a blanket and pillow. "What are you doing up here?"

"I couldn't sleep without you," the younger witch shuffled closer to the bed.

"We will get told off if they catch us," Bella smirked.

"I'll sneak out before any of them wake up. Or I can have Twiggy pop me back down into our room. Nobody will barge in. I locked the doors before I came up." Hermione smiled and deposited her stuff on the bed. "Can I?"

"Come on then," Bella stood, smiled and pulled the covers down, "get in, love." Hermione moved quickly to her side of the bed and snuggled under the covers after spreading their blanket across the both of them. Bella laid on her back and Hermione snuggled into her resting her head in the crook of her neck. "You know," Bella started to say and she ran her finger tips up and down Hermione's arm, "I couldn't sleep without you either."

"The bed just feels empty without you and I couldn't relax knowing you were up here," Hermione kissed the side of Bella's neck. "This feels right," she let her body relax into the older witch.

Bella kissed the top of Hermione's head. She felt her breathing start to even out. "This is already so much better than my first wedding day," she chuckled. "Get some sleep, love. It's a big day after all. I love you. For as long as you'll have me."

She heard the quiet sleep filled response, "forever then."

"Forever then."

Wedding day*

The morning started with Twiggy popping Hermione back into her room before anyone found out she snuck into Bella's room the previous night. The day had flown by in a mixture of last minute preparations, making sure the elves had everything they needed and that they were taken care of and her mother and grandmother fussing over her, making sure she had enough time to get ready. There wasn't even an opportunity to see Bella as the day went on. Hermione was certain that she was being held hostage in Andy's room by her sisters as they primped her. She would be surprised if her fiancé made it through the day without cursing anyone. Hermione was standing in front of three full length mirrors that the seamstress had brought in. She could see her mom and grandma standing behind her crying. "Does it look okay?" She turned around to face her family.

"Hermione, you look absolutely ethereal," Katherine kissed her daughter on the cheek, careful not to smudge any of her makeup.

"It's magically applied mom. The makeup won't run."

"Now that's something we need in the muggle world," her grandmother laughed. "You are stunning my little girl."

There was a knock at the door and Hermione shouted to come in. Harry carefully opened the door, "everyone decent?" He asked and waited.

"Come in Harry," Hermione laughed. "Well? How do I look?"

Harry stood shocked and shook his head. "You look stunning, Hermione."

"Really? It's not too much?" She spun back around to look at herself in the mirror. The seamstress had picked an A line dress with a v neckline in the front and a more plunging v in the back. It was ivory in color with a long flowy tulle skirt accented with lace flowers and filigree that ran up the skirt and bodice. Her hair was down in soft curls with a white rose flower crown with small green and silver accents throughout. Her makeup was soft, only used to highlight her natural beauty and the look was completed with a pair of flats that nobody could see under her skirt.

"Bella's going to love it," Jean smiled.

"You look amazing," Harry came up to stand next to her.

"You look quite stunning yourself, Harry," Katherine looked at the boy she had known for many years standing up next to her daughter wearing a dark grey tux, a black dress shirt and a thick green tie. "Little Harry Potter in slytherin colors."

"Hey, the sorting hat said I would've made a good slytherin," he laughed and looked in the mirror, "green suits me."

"Mom, Grandma," Hermione looked over her shoulder, "can we have a minute?"

"Sure, we will head downstairs. I'll send your father up in a few minutes." Katherine and Jean left the room and made their way down to help greet the guests that had been arriving.

"I can't believe I'm getting married today," Hermione sighed.

"To Bellatrix Black of all people," he smirked.

"Oh stop." She playfully smacked Harry's arm. "You love Bella too. Even if it's a love fueled by fear."

"Here," he handed her a small box, "this is from me and Luna." She took the box and opened it. Inside was a new quill that was a deep blue in color and it had engraved into the side, Minister for Magic. Hermione Black. "We fought about the name and the color. Luna said you needed some new, old borrowed and blue. So it's blue in color and a new quill. The name Black is both old and borrowed because she insisted you'd be taking her last name." She still hadn't responded and he gulped, "hey I know it's a stretch but you love quills."

She laughed and took the quill out of the box, "it's perfect. I am planning on taking her name. I was back and forth for a while but I want the whole family to carry the family name one day including any of our future children."

"Speaking of children…" Hermione gasped. "We found out only a few days ago and I'm freaking out. I'm going to be a father."

"Congratulations Harry," Hermione threw her arms around her neck and pulled him into a hug. "You are going to be the most amazing father. I'm so happy for the two of you."

"I sure hope so," he pulled back from the hug. "It's a bit overwhelming thinking about being a dad when I don't even know what it's like to have a proper dad."

"Oh Harry," Hermione frowned, "you have more care and compassion for others than anyone I've ever met. It might seem scary now but when that little baby comes the instincts will kick in. Plus, Luna will know what to do. Is she nervous?"

"She's so happy. I'm even trying to convince her to leave the Quibbler and find something at the ministry so I can keep an eye on her."

"See," Hermione smiled, "overprotective already. The baby is in the best of hands."

"Ron's here. I saw him come in with his family and his girlfriend," he smirked. "How long until Bella curses him out of here?"

Another knock sounded on the door, "come in," Hermione called out and Jack entered the room, tears immediately filling his eyes. "Buttercup," he wiped a few tears from his cheek. "You look incredible."

"Thanks dad," Hermione rushed over to him and threw her arms around his waist.

"Bella is a lucky, lucky woman."

"I'm just going to go find Andy. Can't walk her down the aisle if I can't find her. See you out there," he kissed Hermione's cheek before excusing himself.

"Are you nervous kiddo?"

"Of getting married? No. I've never been more sure of anything in my life. Of tripping and falling or embarrassing myself in front of everyone? Yes definitely."

"You are going to be perfect, buttercup. Let's just hope your old man doesn't trip walking you down the aisle." He stepped back, letting go of the embrace, "do you need any marriage tips? I'm kind of an expert."

Hermione laughed, "I don't know. Bella is her own special kind of experience. I might pass on the marriage tips but I'll keep you in mind when I need tips on raising children."

His eyes lit up, "you've decided to have kids?"

"Well we've talked about it. Once. But we haven't set anything in stone yet."

"Grandpa Jack. It has a nice ring, doesn't it?"

Hermione smiled at her dad, "yes. It does. Don't say anything to mom yet. I've only just started as Minister and I want Bella to be ready for this as well so I'm not sure when it'll happen. I just wanted you to know."

"Your secret is safe with me, sweetheart. Come on now," he held his arm out, "we don't want to be late."

Hermione looped her arm through her dad's, "Grandma Jean really doesn't like Andy, does she?"

He laughed, "I think Andy has enough people that dote over her. It's probably a refreshing change of pace for Bella."

Meanwhile in Andy's room, Bella was standing in front of the same mirror set up that the seamstress had for Hermione. She looked at herself in the very form fitted black tux. She had a deep green dress shirt that matched Harry and Teddy's ties, a black vest and black necktie. Her curls were tamed but left down and she was sporting her dark smokey eyeshadow and bright red lips. Her look was complete with a pair of very high black stilettos. Bella turned around to get a view of her ass, "yep. Everything checks out on the outfit."

"Mother would be rolling over in her grave if she knew you weren't wearing a dress," Cissy commented as she finished fluffing Bella's hair.

"Or marrying a muggleborn woman."

"Just another added bonus," Bella cackled, "my ass looked phenomenal and mother would hate it."

"If you and Hermione ever do have babies let's hope they are all girls. Half blood girls… really stick it to father. Never give him the heir he wanted," Andy laughed as she helped Teddy put his little grey tux jacket on. His outfit matched his Uncle Harry's and he looked adorable.

Bella and Cissy shared a look in the mirror that was unnoticed by Andy. "That would be another nail in Cygnus's grave, wouldn't it? What a disgrace the family would be… not like we aren't already a disgrace," Bella rolled her eyes. "We took back the name Black and made it our own."

"Is Hermione taking the family name?"

Bella nodded and smirked when she saw the shocked expression on Narcissa's face. "Honestly I was shocked too with her just becoming Minister Granger and all but she said she wanted the name Black so who am I to deny her the privilege of becoming one of the sacred 28?"

"There's only a few minutes left," Andy checked the time. "I'm going to go find Harry and get Teddy into place. Good luck," she kissed Bella's cheek, "I'm so happy for you."

Bella pretended to wipe the kiss off, "get out of here."

Teddy ran up to her and hugged her legs, "I'm so excited."

"Me too buddy," she ruffled her hand through his mop of blue hair.

Just as Andy and Teddy were leaving through the door, Draco appeared on the other side smiling at his mom and his aunt. "I'm going to head down too. Make sure everything is set, I love you," she kissed her oldest sister.

"I love you too, Cissy. Now get out of here," she watched her sister stop to kiss her son before leaving. "Draco, you clean up nice." She looked at the grey suit he was wearing. "Thank you for doing this."

"It's an honor to walk you down the aisle today, Auntie."

"For me as well," she patted him on the cheek. "I know I give you a hard time but you've turned into quite the nephew to be proud of."

"Can I tell you something?"

"Maybe."

"Something nobody knows. Not even mother?"

"Oh definitely then."

Draco scratched the back of his head, "this morning, we found out that Astoria is pregnant."

Bella's eyes widened, "get out."

"We were shocked too. We were even really trying but I guess the universe was ready for us to be parents," he gave her a proud smile.

"I'm happy for you," she smiled back, "you'll make an excellent father. I'm sure of it."

"Please don't say anything to mother. We wanted to wait to tell people but I couldn't hold it in any longer."

Bella cackled, "what you made it a whole few hours?"

He shrugged, "I guess I'm just excited." Then his face changed, "and a little scared because now I have an added reason to keep Kate under control while you are gone."

"You can do it. I believe in you. We will only be a patronus away. Though, if you do call on me while we are on our honeymoon, I may be less cordial than I am today."

"Noted," he pulled a little box out and handed it to his aunt. "Astoria said I should get you something but you are seriously the hardest person to shop for. I found this once while I was going through my things from dad's house. I thought you might like it. I have one as well." She opened the box and inside was a framed picture of the two of them from before Bella went to prison. She doesn't remember it being taken but the moving photo showed Bella throwing the little blond baby up in the air and him laughing. "I don't remember this but from all the stories mom tells me, you were great with me. And I know it's not the best present but I do enjoy looking at it every time I pass it in the living room."

Bella smiled, "it's perfect Draco. Thank you," she walked over to the mantle and put the frame down. "I'll have Twiggy put it in the family room later."

He cleared his throat, "shall we?" He held his arm out and she looped her through.

"Let's go. Time to start preparing my vows," she cackled as they left the room together and made their way to the doors outside of the ballroom. They stopped just outside and she noted that Hermione and her dad hadn't arrived downstairs yet.

"I think she's meant to be kept out of sight," Draco said when he saw his aunt looking.

"Fucking traditions," she scoffed. Andy, Harry and Teddy were standing talking and she saw the officiant finally arrived. "Minerva," she walked over to her mentor who was wearing a pair of formal robes and her patented pointed hat. "You look like you are ready for a sorting ceremony."

"Well," she smiled, "it is my first time officiating a wedding. I wasn't sure what to wear."

"Thank you again for agreeing to do this for us. You mean a great deal to both me and Hermione and when we found out that as Headmistress you have a slew of hidden powers, we knew you were the one."

"I'm honored to be a part of you and Hermione's special day. The two of you mean a great deal to me as well," she winked. Cissy popped her head out of the closed ballroom doors and gave them the signal that it was time to begin. "I guess that's my cue. Are you ready?"

"More than I've ever been," Bella nodded at her to go on through. The door closed behind Minerva and they were told to wait until the music started playing. "I can do this right?" She turned to Andy when the last strain of doubt crept its way into her mind.

"You've got this. This is the best decision you've ever made," Andy smiled at her as the doors to the ballroom opened and the music started to play.

Bella gulped and took Draco's arm. "Here we go," she gave him a nervous chuckle. They made their way down the green aisle to the front of the ballroom where a small stage with an awning was placed that Minerva was standing under, she nodded to Bella who turned to Draco. He kissed her on the cheek and she took her place as he went to go sit by his wife. Next, Harry and Andy walked down the aisle. Harry gave Luna a little wave once he got situated in the spot next to where Hermione would be standing. Andy came to stand behind Bella and she whispered, "you were right. Your ass does look phenomenal," causing the older woman to chuckle. Teddy was next to come down the aisle. He was carrying a pillow with the rings tied to it but next to him was Twiggy looking scared and nervous and she snapped her fingers making green and black rose petals float to the ground as she walked beside the boy. Bella chuckled at her elf but found it endearing all the same. The music suddenly switched and Bella's stomach dropped when the ballroom doors opened up again and Hermione walked in being led by Jack. She was gorgeous. Absolutely breathtaking, on top of everything she had a genuinely happy glow about her that made Bella's insides turn to mush. "She's beautiful," Bella whispered to Andy, turning slightly so she could get a better look as she rounded the corner. Hermione's smile grew when she finally spotted Bella at the front of the crowd. It was as if the ballroom was empty and all she could see was her.

Finally the long walk was over and Jack stopped them just shy of the steps. Bella went down and shook Jack's hand but he pulled her into a bear hug then kissed Hermione on the cheek. Hermione turned to look at Bella and noticed a stray tear that she quickly wiped off her cheek replacing it with a kiss. They quickly turned to look into the audience and Hermione was happy with the sea of familiar faces and quite a few red heads. "Ready?" Bella whispered as she turned back and nodded yes. The dark witch laced their fingers together and walked them back up before McGonagall. Bella swore she saw tears in the headmistress's eyes. "Welcome everyone," Minerva cleared her throat. "I've never been asked to officiate a wedding before so I'm not quite sure how to go about this but I can say with great certainty that it will be an adventure for us all. I have known both of these women for a very long time and I'm beyond happy to be a part of their big day. When I invited Hermione to come back to teach and finish her seventh year at Hogwarts I never expected this to be the outcome but it is quite fortunate how things workout," she continued to make her opening remarks and the ceremony went on. Bella won't lie, she did zone out a little during the ceremony. She was concentrating on Hermione and how beautiful she looked. When she felt someone touch her shoulder she snapped out of it, "it's time for the vows. Bella, you'll give your vows first, whenever you are ready," Minvera pointed her wand under Bella's neck to amplify her voice, which wasn't intimidating at all.

Bella cleared her throat and closed her eyes, taking a moment to gather her thoughts. "Hermione," she breathed out slowly, "when I saw you walking down the aisle, I have never experienced a moment quite like that. It was as if all of my insides were lit on fire and turned to mush at the same time. I never truly thought I deserved anything in life, especially happiness. You have single handedly helped me want to be a better person, the person you deserve to spend the rest of your life with. I promise to prove to you everyday that I'm the right person for your happily ever after. I never knew what love was or what having a real family could be. Yes I love my sisters but this is different. The love I feel from you and the unconditional acceptance I received from your family has made me think that having my own family might be a possibility one day. I want to have a family and have kids and watch them learn how to be humans. I want to go on family outings and drop them off at 9 and 3/4s, I want to take family vacations and go to the magical creatures reserve and say "I told you so" after they mess with the fire crabs," she paused to take a breath and heard a few chuckles from the crowd. "I'm rambling. I sound like you now." She wiped a tear from Hermione's cheek. "I want everything that comes next with you and I promise you that I will do everything in my power to make you as happy as you've made me, for as long as you'll have me." She turned back to Minerva and gave her a goofy smile as if to tell her she was done.

The headmistress winked and turned to Hermione, "Hermione, it's your turn," she held her wand under Hermione's chin.

She half sobbed, "how am I meant to follow that?" A few more chuckles were heard from the crowd. "Bella," she looked into her eyes, "I wasn't looking for anything when I came back to Hogwarts and yet I was lucky enough to find my everything. All of your dreams are my dreams too and I never would've known of them unless you insisted on helping me with my parents. You support me in everything I've ever set out to do. I planned out this whole speech but after hearing you it's all very simple, I want everything you do. I want a family and to drop the kids off at 9 and 3/4s even if they are all Slytherins. I want to take many family vacations although I probably won't let our children near the fire crabs. I promise that I will love you unconditionally and accept you without fault for the rest of our time together," she stopped when she saw the small smirk on Bella's face, "you are mentally writing this down aren't you?" Bella bit her bottom lip to keep from laughing. "You are so infuriating sometimes and I love it. I love you, Bellatrix Druella Black and I promise to love you for as long as you'll have me."

Bella leaned forward and whispered, "forever then," into Hermione's ear and saw a warning look from Minvera as she did so. "I haven't kissed her yet. I swear."

"Young Master Lupin?" Teddy looked up at his Uncle Draco who handed him back the pillow with the rings on it. "Please bring us the rings." He hurried out of his seat and up the stairs standing in front of his future headmistress.

"Here you go Auntie Bella," he raised the pillow up and she squatted down to untie the rings.

"Thanks little man. You've kept them very safe," she kissed his cheek and stood back up, rings in hand. Teddy gave her legs a hug then turned and hugged Hermione's legs.

"Bella?" Minerva nodded towards Hermione.

She slid the ring onto her finger and recited, "this ring is a token of my love. I offer you all that I have, all that I am, and all that I will be."

Hermione did the same, "Bella, this ring is a token of my love. I offer you all that I have, all that I am, and all that I will be."

"Do you, Bella, promise to love and respect Hermione, to share your life and dreams, to build a home of love, happiness, and growth? Do you promise to always be there for Hermione through all her successes, failures, ups and downs, to offer your steadfast support, and most importantly, to give her the freedom to be herself?"

"I do."

"And Hermione, do you promise to love and respect Bellatrix, to share your life and dreams, to build a home of love, happiness, and growth? Do you promise to always be there for Bella through all her successes, failures, ups and downs, to offer your steadfast support, and most importantly, to give her the freedom to be herself?"

"I do."

Minerva smiled at the two women who couldn't take their eyes off of each other. "Bella and Hermione, you have expressed your love to one another through the commitment and promises you have just made. It is with these in mind that I pronounce you wives for life." She turned to Bella. "Now would be a good time for a kiss."

Bella looked at Hermione and brought her flush against her own body, kissing her wife for the first time. She poured every emotion she was feeling into the kiss as Hermione reached up and cupped her cheek, kissing her back with as much passion as appropriate for a ballroom full of family and friends. Applause and whistles broke out through the room as everyone celebrated the happy couple. Minerva cleared her throat and Hermione was the first to pull away with a little blush on her cheeks. The music started up and Bella waited for Minerva to nod. When she did, she laced her fingers with Hermione's and walked her back down the aisle now as her wife. Bella's heart was so full it was physically hurting from the happiness she was feeling. She pulled her outside of the ballroom doors and backed her into the wall. She rested her forehead against her wife's. "I'm so fucking happy right now, Mrs. Black." Bella leaned in and gently pressed her lips to Hermione. Soft brushes of their lips, barely any pressure. Bella's hand that wasn't laced with her wife's grabbed the younger woman's chin between her thumb and forefinger, deepening the pressure. She swiped her tongue across Hermione's lip and was granted access when she moaned. They slowly kissed each other exploring like they had all the time in the world. It was after all a new experience, kissing and exploring as wives. Bella was about to deepen the kiss when she heard commotion coming near the door, so she placed a parting kiss on Hermione's lips as the younger woman pouted when she pulled away.

Teddy came running out of the door first and threw himself at the pair, "I'm so happy. Now I have two Aunties." He pulled on Hermione's hand and she leaned down for him to whisper, "you've always been my Aunt Hermione," he kissed her cheek. "Is it time to eat?"

Bella laughed as Harry and Andy came out into the hallway. "Almost Buddy. Hermione and I are going to get some pictures taken, you can head inside and start having fun. Go harass inferior Weasley. Tell him Auntie Bella says hello," she cackled and he ran back inside the ballroom.

"Do you want pictures with the families too?" Andy was followed by the photographer who was setting her camera.

"Umm," Bella looked to defer the question to her wife.

"Yes, maybe some just us and then with the bridal party, Cissy, Draco, and my parents?"

"And grandma granger. She can stand next to you," Bella stuck her tongue out at Andy.

"Okay," the photographer nodded, "you two. Come with me. We will send word when we are ready for the rest of the bridal party." Bella and Hermione followed the photographer out back and into the gardens.

An hour later and the photographer was confident she had a good mix of magical and muggle photographs for the couple and would have the images ready in a few weeks time. They thanked her and Andy settled the bill before they went back into the ballroom. Everyone broke out into applause again when the brides came into the room. "I do like feeling like a celebrity," Bella chuckled. "What do we do now?"

"You've been married before. You don't remember?" Bella gave Hermione a look which indicated that she definitely didn't have any recollection of her first wedding. "We dance, we sit down, Andy and Harry toast us, we eat and then we have to mingle."

"That seems like a fuck load of time between now and when I get to whisk you away," she ran her hand down the open back of Hermione's dress.

"Well the quicker we get this started… the quicker we can get to the honeymoon," she grabbed Bella's hand and pulled her to the dance floor. The orchestra leader announced their first dance as wives and everyone in the ballroom went silent as soft music filled the air and Bella led Hermione around the dance floor in a graceful waltz. When the dance slowed, Bella wrapped her arms around Hermione's waist while Hermione's arms were wrapped around the dark witch's neck. They swayed slowly together to the music. "We should dance more often," Hermione hummed, turning so her face was nestled into Bella's neck.

"Anytime you want, pet," she tilted her head, capturing her wife's lips in a soft kiss. Claps erupted from the crowd, "is that going to happen every time we kiss."

"Unfortunately I think so," Hermione let out a soft laugh. "Muggles."

Bella hummed, "it seems like it's spread to the magical guests as well."

The song ended and they took their seats at the front table along with Harry, Andy and Teddy. Cissy was only partially disappointed that she didn't make the cut for the wedding party table. She and her girlfriend were sitting at the table with Jack, Katherine, Grandma Jean and Minerva. Andy was sitting with a smirk on her face, sipping from her water glass. "I swear to Merlin's Andy, if you get up and say something stupid tonight is your last night on earth."

Andy didn't respond, she just stood up and raised her glass getting the attention of the crowd. With her other hand, she held her wand at her throat to project her voice over the crowd. "I just want everyone to know that my life has been threatened by one of the brides so my toast is being mentally adjusted as we speak." Bella slapped her hand over her face and Hermione tried not to laugh. "In all seriousness, after I left home I never expected to speak to my sisters again let alone one day be the maid of honor at Bella's wedding. I am beyond honored to be a part of their day. Hermione is an amazing woman and Bella is lucky to have found her. The change I've seen in my sister is a testament to her growth as a person. I have always looked up to her, specifically her passion, drive and dedication. Now, it's being used for good and not evil so we can all celebrate. I love you, Bella no matter how uncomfortable that makes you and I love you as well Hermione. You've long since been a member of the family and now it's official." She raised her glass, "to Bella and Hermione." The cheers rang out through the crowd and Andy added, "if anyone wants to hear the embarrassing stories you know how to contact me. Thank you," she sat down and smiled her best innocent smile.

"Insufferable," Bella shook her head.

"You love me."

Harry cleared his throat and stood, "I guess it's my turn and I'm not quite sure how to follow that. I knew I should've gone first." He let out a little nervous laugh, "Hermione, you've always been my sister. There's no other way to say it. I've depended on you more times than I could count and to be perfectly frank without you, Ron and I would've been dead our first year. You've saved me so many times. If anyone deserves their happiness it's you. Bella, I think this is where I'm supposed to say something brother like and threaten you but I'm not an idiot. Take care of her. That's all I ask." Bella smiled and nodded her agreement. "The connection the two of you have is amazing and I wish you both all the happiness in the world. To Hermione and Bella," he raised his glass and everyone cheered.

"That wasn't so painful," Hermione whispered to Bella.

"That's debatable," she laughed.

The meal came and went as well as the muggle tradition of cutting the cake and shoving it in each other's faces which Bella thought was a ridiculous tradition. The night was moving along and everyone was having a good time. Bella somehow managed to commandeer Junior Superior Weasley and was currently swaying with him on the dance floor. Hermione smiled remembering Bella's dance with the baby at Harry's wedding. "Hey," a voice came up beside her and a body sat down next to her.

"Hi," she turned and smiled but immediately turned her focus back to Bella and Freddy, "I was wondering if you'd ever come and talk to me."

"Well, your wife is kind of scary."

"Yes, well…"

"Harry was right, you know? We'd have been dead with you," Ron leaned forward and looked at his once best friend. "I owe you a great deal of thanks."

"No, you don't. We already made amends," Hermione shrugged. "I get why you said what you said but what I don't get it's why we still haven't talked. Bella will leave you alone. Eventually. She's not your biggest fan but she knows you are important to me. If you never take the first step, she'll never come around."

"Looks like I need to sort myself out. I promise I'll write more or maybe we can meet up for coffee or something when you get back."

"I'd like that." She still hadn't taken her eyes off of Bella and the baby.

"She likes Freddy," Ron laughed. "Bellatrix Black is a baby snuggler. Who would've thought."

"I know but I love it." Hermione finally looked at her friend. "What about you? Any marriages and babies in the foreseeable future?"

"Oh Merlin," he sighed, "Gertrude and I have only been dating for 7 months but if it were up to mom we'd be married immediately. She loves her."

"Do you?"

"I do."

"Well then, do what makes you happy." She patted Ron on the knee and got up to go mingle. She walked over finally getting the attention of her former headmistress. Hermione threw her arms around the older witch and hugged her tightly. "Thank you so much for today. The ceremony was perfect."

"I was honored to do it. I was quite nervous about the whole thing but I think it went well." Minerva smirked. "Your wife seems to be in love with that baby."

"It would seem so," Hermione laughed. "One day maybe you'll be welcoming future little Blacks into Hogwarts."

"Well, I shall start praying now that they end up like you."

Molly cut in the middle of Bella's third dance with Freddy and took him away, causing a slight scowl to cross Bella's face. The scowl was replaced with a look of annoyance when Kate appeared, "it was a lovely ceremony."

"It was, wasn't it?"

"I can't believe you are still here. I'd have thought you'd have left for your honeymoon immediately."

Bella waved her hand, "some bullshit about social niceties. I think I've sufficiently mingled with everyone and I've almost reached my limit."

"There she is. There's the Bella that I know. None of this social niceties bullshit," Kate laughed.

"Now is the part of the night where I remind you of the importance of not acting stupid while I'm gone," she eyed her employee.

"I won't do anything rash."

Bella laughed, "that's exactly what a person who was planning something rash would say. Just use your head okay? Don't do anything stupid. I want you to be alive when I get back."

"Fair enough."

"We will get him," Bella touched Kate's shoulder, "I promise. He will go down." She removed her hand and looked back into the crowd spotting her wife over with her family. "Now, if you'll excuse me… it's time to get the fuck out of here. Thank you for coming."

"Enjoy!" Kate laughed when Bella started making a very calculated beeline over towards the crowd of Grangers.

"Hello," she came up behind Hermione and wrapped her arm around her waist. "I've barely seen you all evening Mrs. Black."

"If I'm not mistaken I've seen you spending a good majority of the evening with baby Freddy," Katherine gave her a knowing smile.

"He coerced me into the dances. It was all his idea."

"I saw it," Jack laughed, "that 9 month old baby basically held you at wand point."

"See," she nodded towards her father in law, "he knows."

"It was a beautiful ceremony."

"Thank you Jean. I'm glad you could be here to spend the day with us."

"We are just happy you are finally part of the family," Katherine reached out and grabbed Bella's hand. She had become more comfortable with the motherly shows of affection that she received from Hermione's mom over the years. "We've long since considered you family but now it feels different, special."

"I feel much the same way," she gave her mother in law's hand a reassuring squeeze before letting go. "I hate to break up the moment we are having but our port key is scheduled to leave in 30 minutes."

"You best get going then," Jack spoke up.

"We are leaving now?"

"Unless you want me to cancel it and we can leave tomorrow," Bella shrugged.

"No," Hermione smiled, "I'm ready. I think I've talked to everyone."

"Enjoy the rest of the evening," Bella spoke to the Grangers. "Andy or Cissy will see everyone back through the floo tomorrow." She turned to Jean, "and please come back anytime you want. Andy needs someone to periodically knock her a few pegs. You've been delightful."

The pair hugged the family and went around saying goodbye to the crowd before heading to the front door. "So we just go?" Hermione asked when their suitcases were magically floating down the stairs. Bella shrunk the cases and put them in her tux pocket.

"Yes."

Hermione looked a little nervous, "are you going to tell me where we are going?"

"No," Bella smirked, "okay," she relented when she saw Hermione's face. She whispered their first destination in her wife's ear. "The rest is an adventure… we will decide that together. It's time to begin our new chapter, Mrs. Black."
