House of Brothers:

The club was in Nina and Amber's room, Nina had just shared her theory with the club about how Mason's brother had gotten sick.

"You think Lloyd got sick because of Ankhesenamun's curse?" Asked Fabian.

"Yes, that's what I think," said Nina.

"But where do you get that idea from?" Asked Aaron.

"As I said he got sick from a mysterious Egyptian disease, but how did he get it if he never went to Egypt," said Nina.

"Maybe he came in contact with someone who had been to Egypt and that's how he got it, guessed Amber.

"That's possible, I mean that's how diseases are often spread," said Alfie.

"But then more people would have gotten sick and at least we would have heard about it on the news, said Nina.

"If only we had more information about Ankhesenamun, we would know what her curse is," said Fabian.

"KT tried to find out, but she couldn't find anything," said Aaron.

"There's only one person who can give us answers," said Nina.

"Please don't tell me we're going to summon this Ankhesenamun and ask her for answers? Begged Amber.

"Summoning an old Egyptian bad chick ghost is definitely not at the top of Super Alfie's list," said Alfie.

"If that is what we're going to do then you can count me out," said Amber.

Yeah, me too," said Alfie.

"And we also just got rid of Senkhara and then you're thinking about pulling another bad and scary ghost into the mystery," said Amber.

"I have no intention of doing that," said Nina.

"So we're not going to summon any Egyptian scary ghost chicks?" Asked Alfie.

"Super Alfie doesn't have to worry about that, because we're not going to do that," said Nina.

"Then what's your plan?" Asked Patricia.

"The only one who can give us answers about Lloyd and Ankhesenamun is Mason," said Nina.

"Mason?" Asked Aaron.

"Yeah, he's the one who knows everything about her," said Nina.

"He and his crazy family are also the ones who poisoned KT and are counting down the days until she's dead," said Aaron

"And who says Mason knows anything about her," said Fabian.

"I have a feeling he knows something more about this then he is letting on," said Nina.

"And who says he's going to help again, Nina last time he made it very clear he can't help us anymore," said Fabian.

"I know Fabian, he really wants to help both his brother and KT, then he has to help us," said Nina

"And who says he wants to do that? He wants to save his brother anyway, but who says he wants to save KT now," said Aaron.

"Mason is a good guy, I know his heart is in the right place and he'll do the right thing," said Nina.

"Do you trust him Nina?" Asked Fabian.

"I trust him," said Nina.

"Do you trust him as much as any of us?" Asked Patricia.

"Of course I don't trust Mason as much as I trust you guys, but I know he trusts me and so I have to trust him too," said Nina.

"I've said it often enough I don't trust that guy at all," said Aaron.

"But you trust me right Aaron?" Asked Nina.

"Yeah, of course I trust you Nina, but Mason is part of the Order of Ankhesenamun, those same people who kidnapped Fabian and made us all believe he was dead," said Aaron.

"I know, but I promised Mason I would save his brother too, and to do that we need all the information we can get," said Nina.

"And only Mason can give us that information," said Fabian.

"And how will you get that information?" Asked Alfie.

"I need to meet with Mason again," said Nina.

"You're not going back to that villa, are you?" Asked Amber.

"No, that's too much risk, it needs to be somewhere else, on neutral ground," said Nina.

"The park, that's where you met Mason before," suggested Patricia.

"Yeah, that's a good place," said Nina.

"Now it's just a question of whether he wants to come and see you," said Fabian.

"Let's hope so," said Nina.

In the meantime, Jerome and Mara were just done doing the dishes and were sitting dinner table, Mara was busy making something.

"What are you doing Mara?" Asked Jerome.

"I'm making a schedule for myself," said Mara.

"For what?" asked Jerome.

"Everything that has to do with school," said Mara.

"Mara you might feel like doing something fun sometime?" Asked Jerome.

"Like what?" Asked Mara.

"Going to a restaurant or watching a movie and I don't mean on my laptop in one of our rooms, but in a real cinema," said Jerome.

"I can't do any of that, we're going to be very busy now Jerome," said Mara.

"But we busy all year with everything, first finding a husband for Trudy, then arranging that auction and then that wedding, when are we going to make time for us again?" Asked Jerome.

"Maybe I can put us time in my schedule," said Mara.

"I don't want to be put on a schedule to have with my girlfriend," said Jerome.

"Jerome we are seniors now, we should be busy with our future," said Mara.

"Do you actually see a future in this relationship?" Asked Jerome.

"Jerome what are you getting so angry about?" Asked Mara.

"Because you want to make time for everything except your own boyfriend," said Jerome.

"Where is this coming from?" Asked Mara.

Jerome said nothing, walked out of the kitchen and headed toward his room. Mara was confused about what had happened and didn't understand anything about Jerome's behavior.

In the meantime at the villa. Mason was sitting in his room reading something, his phone rang and he saw that Nina was calling him. Mason got up and walked toward the door, opened his door to see if his parents were nearby. Mason closed the door and answered it.

"Nina," said Mason.

"Mason, good of you to answer," said Nina.

"I don't really understand why you're calling," said Mason.

"Mason this is important and I need your help," said Nina.

"I already told you that I can't help you anymore, that when I helped you guys escape that was the last time," said Mason.

"Mason this is about your brother," said Nina.

"Lloyd, what about Lloyd?" Asked Mason.

'It's better I don't discuss this with you over the phone," said Nina.

"You can't come to the villa, you know that," said Mason.

"I know, tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. in the park, at the place we agreed to meet before, when you told me the truth about Fabian," said Nina.

"Nina, I don't even know if I can do that, It's already dangerous for me to answer your call and for me to talk to you now," said Mason.

"I know, but I really wouldn't call this from you if it wasn't so important," said Nina.

"Okay, I'll meet you in the park tomorrow," said Mason.

"All right, see you tomorrow," said Nina.

Mason hung up the phone and lay down in his bed, doubting whether he should really go to the park.

At the same time in Anubis house, Nina walked back into her room where the rest of the club was.

"And is Mason coming to the park tomorrow?" Asked Fabian.

"Yes, he hesitated, but decided to come anyway," said Nina.

"Let's hope he can provide some answers," said Fabian.

"But what kind of answers are you hoping for?" Asked Patricia.

"Something about his brother or about Ankhesenamun," said Nina.

"It's so crazy that there's so little information about her, even though she's well known in Egyptian mythology," said Fabian.

"But who exactly was this Ankhesenamun chick again?" Asked Alfie.

"She was Tutankhamun's wife, but she became furious when she found out about his secret love Amneris and then she destroyed the Ankh into 7 pieces," said Fabian.

"And by destroying the Ankh, she knew that Tutankhamen and Amneris could not be together," said Nina.

"Until Frobisher-Smythe found the stone that would grant access to the tomb of love and bring Tutankhamun and Amneris together," said Fabian.

"Guys I already know that part, I was there myself when we reunited them," said Alfie.

"And that's why she wants to punish Frobisher-Smythe and his family," said Nina.

"Because he found a way to get Tutankhamen and Amneris reunited," said Fabian.

"And by with each and have their eternal happiness," said Nina.

"But she is lonely and unhappy," said Fabian.

"You know normally I hate it when you finish each other sentences and it seems like you share a brain, but this time I don't mind, I even missed a little," said Patricia.

The club laughed at Patricia's comment, after a few minutes Fabian, Aaron, Patricia and Alfie went to their own rooms and a few moments later everyone was asleep in Anubis house.

The next day, while the rest of residents were at school, Nina was in the park waiting for Mason. Nina looked at her watch and saw that it was already 9:10 a.m., not much later Mason arrived.

"You're late," said Nina.

"Sorry, but I had to make sure I wasn't followed," said Mason.

"You are worried about being followed?" Asked Nina.

"Yes, by one my of parents, they keep a very close eye on me right now, it was already quite a hard task to get out of the house, so what you want to discuss must be very important, because I'm risking a lot now," said Mason.

"I want you to tell me more about Lloyd," said Nina.

"Lloyd? You already know everything, is this seriously what you made me come here for?" Asked Mason.

"I may know how you got that Egyptiac disease," said Nina.

"How?" Asked Mason.

"I think he came in contact with the curse of Ankhesenamun," said Nina.

"The curse of Ankhesenamun?" Asked Mason.

"Yes," said Nina.

"But how do you figure?" Asked Mason.

"You told me that your mother came with the idea to contact Ankhesenamun through your great-grandfather's things," said Nina.

"Yes," said Mason.

"Do you think maybe there's a chance your brother found that stuff too?" Asked Nina.

"I don't think so, I know for sure he found those things from our great-grandfather," said Mason.

"How do you know?" Asked Nina.

"Lloyd had always been interested in the myths and legends of Egypt, he wanted to be like my great-grandfather and then he started looking through his old stuff, he told me," said Mason.

"Mason how did you and your parents summon Ankhesenamun?" Asked Nina.

"With a incantation," said Mason.

"Where did you get that incantation?" Asked Nina.

"From my great-grandfather's journal," said Mason.

"Do you think Lloyd used that incantation?" Asked Nina

"I don't know, He just told me he found that stuff," said Mason.

"What if he read that incantation out loud, woke Ankhesenamun and then refused to do what she said," said Nina.

"And then she cursed him and that's why he got so sick?" Asked Mason.

"Yes, I think that's why he got sick," said Nina.

"Oh no, Lloyd," said Mason.

"Mason there has to be a way to lift the curse," said Nina.

"You know there is and that's if we destroy the last descendant of Frobisher-Smythe," said Mason.

"There has to be another way," said Nina.

"You say that all the time, but you come up with nothing," said Mason.

"But now I've more information and there's something else that can help me," said Nina.

"What's that?" Asked Mason.

"I need more information about Ankhesenamun and you have access to that information," said Nina.

"What exactly do you want?" Asked Mason.

"I want your great-grandfather's research on Ankhesenamun," said Nina.

Mason looked at Nina with a flabbergasted face after hearing what she wanted from him.

Is Mason going to help Nina, by giving her the research. Or will he not help her?
