House of Insecurities:
Nina was still in the park with Mason.
"What do you want from me?" Asked Mason.
"I want your great-grandfather's research and you are the only one who can give it to me," said Nina.
"Do you have any idea what you're asking of me?" Asked Mason.
"I know, but we need it," said Nina.
"Why?" Asked Mason.
"Like I said, we need more information about Ankhesenamun," said Nina.
"Then look on the internet or read about it in books,' said Mason.
"We've done all that, but it doesn't get us anywhere, your great-grandfather was the archaeologist who knew most about Ankhesenamun," said Nina.
"I can't just give you that information, if my parents find out that that stuff is gone, they'll know for sure that I'm helping you and then I'll be in trouble," said Mason.
"Your parents won't find out," said Nina.
"They're already keeping an extra eye on me," said Mason.
"They won't find out if we do this my way," said Nina.
"Then what is your way?" Asked Mason
"You take pictures of the research and you send them to me, then I can study them with Fabian," said Nina.
"I'll do my best, but I can't promise you'll get it today," said Mason.
"Anyway, thanks Mason," said Nina.
"I have to go right now, otherwise my parents will get suspicious," said Mason.
"Good, I hope to hear from you soon," said Nina.
"Bye, Nina," said Mason.
Nina and Mason both left, Nina went to school and Mason went back to the villa.
In the meantime in the house, Victor was in his office and was reading an old book, he slammed the book closed and looked disappointed.
"I have unfortunately not been able to find anything about the elixir Corbierre, maybe it is time to start accepting my destiny and that soon I become my true age," said Victor.
Victor looked at Corbierre and petted him
A few moments later, the club was standing by the lockers, Nina walked up and joined the club.
"And?" Asked Fabian.
"I found out more about Lloyd, and Mason is going to try to send the research about Ankhesenamun to me," said Nina.
"Why do we need that?" Asked Amber.
"His family is the most connected to Ankhesenamun, in that stuff from his great grandfather must be something that can help us further," said Nina.
"Nina Martin," said Mr. Sweet as he came walking up.
"Yes, Mr. Sweet," said Nina.
"You just missed class and you didn't call in you absence," said Mr. Sweet.
"I'm sorry," said Nina.
"Where were you?" Asked Mr. Sweet.
"I was at Fabian's grave, because of everything that's happened lately, I haven't been to see him in a long time and I felt guilty about that," said Nina, as that was the best excuse she could come up with.
"I understand, but next time, just let me know," said Mr. Sweet.
"I will, Mr. Sweet," said Nina.
Mr. Sweet nodded his head and walked to his office.
"Lucky you, you skip school and you didn't even get punished," said Alfie.
"With this excuse, don't think he would've given me dentation anyway," said Nina.
"Pretty weird that you guys are talking about my grave, I'm not even really dead," said Fabian.
"And we're all really happy about that," said Patricia.
"Okay, now we need to focus on doing the next task of the papyrus scroll," said Fabian.
"Yes, because the full moon will be full in 13 days," said Aaron.
"That gives us plenty of time, right?" Asked Alfie.
"Alfie, we still have a super lot to do," said Nina.
"We need the lutes," said Fabian.
"The musical twins," said Aaron.
"We need to learn the Egyptian love dance," said Patricia.
"And we don't even know what music to play," said Nina.
"Okay, so we have a lot to do," said Alfie.
'Later during the break we'll divide up tasks," said Fabian.
"Good idea," said Amber.
"Let's get back to class," said Nina.
The club grabbed their books from their lockers and head to class.
In the meantime, Jerome and Otis were already in the classroom.
"Dude, I think I know something that could help us come up with the ultimate prank," said Otis.
"Otis I don't feel like doing that right now," said Jerome.
"Are you serious?" Asked Otis.
"Yes, I don't have a time for lame pranks right now," said Jerome.
"Hello you were the one who came to me and Alfie to persuade us to play the best prank ever and now you want to quit," said Otis.
"I just don't feel like it anymore," said Jerome.
"But why not?" Asked Otis
"I just don't want to do it anymore," said Jerome.
The bell rang and the rest of the students came in, not much later the teacher also came in and the lesson began.
A few hours later class was over, the club went to the drama room. Fabian grabbed some notes from his bag and put them in a coffee mug.
"Okay, on these notes are the tasks, two of us are going to do the dance, two of us are going to look for the twins and two of us are going to look for the lutes, said Fabian.
"What about the song?" Asked Amber.
"That'll come later, everyone take a note," said Fabian.
"One by one the club took a note from the mug.
"Yes, I get to do the Egyptian love dance," said Amber.
"Then I'll be your dance partner, cause Super Alfie's got one, too," said Alfie.
"Cool, said Amber," as she gave Alfie a high five.
"Nancy Ninja and Super Alfie dancing together," said Alfie.
"I'm going to be looking for the twins," said Aaron.
"I got that one, too," said Nina.
"Then Patricia and I will look for the lutes," said Fabian.
Nina got a text message, she looked at her phone and saw that Mason had sent her pictures of his great-grandfather's research.
"Mason sent the pictures, glad he still managed to send them today," said Nina.
"All right, I'll get on that as soon as I can," said Fabian.
"I hope we'll find out more about Ankhesenamun and her curse," said Nina.
"Me too, but this task is our priority right now, Nina," said Fabian.
"I know," said Nina.
"I'll really try to make as much time as I can to go through it," said Fabian.
"I know," said Nina.
"Sibuna," said Fabian, while he did the Sibuna gesture.
"Sibuna," said the rest of club while they did the Sibuna gesture.
In the meantime, Jerome and Otis were sitting in front of their lockers. Otis was eating some candy.
"Candy?" Asked Otis, offering Jerome some of his candy.
"No, thank you," said Jerome.
"For sure, they are your favorites," said Otis.
"I said no thanks," said Jerome.
"Okay, what's going on with you? Why are you such a grumpy goose?" Asked Otis.
"Did you just called me a grumpy goose?" Asked Jerome.
"Yeah, you heard me correctly. You've been grumpy all day, so tell me, what's going on?" Asked Otis.
"I'm having a fight with Mara," said Jerome.
"What are you fighting about?" Asked Otis.
"I wanted to do something fun with her, but she has no time for it, unless it's scheduled," said Jerome.
"I see," said Otis.
"Mara and I have been so busy with doing things for others, trying to find a boyfriend for Trudy, helping the village of Uncle Isaac, but we barely made time for each other," said Jerome.
"I hear you Jerome," said Otis.
"But all she wants to focus on now is the school paper, exams and college applications," said Jerome.
"Ah, so that's where the problem lies," said Otis
"What do you mean?" Asked Jerome.
"You want to know what I think?" Asked Otis.
"Well, what do you think, Otis?" Asked Jerome.
"You're scared," said Otis.
"I'm scared? And what exactly am I scared of?" Asked Jerome.
"You're afraid that you're going to lose Mara because you think you're not smart enough for her, that she's going to drop you for an Ivy-League guy," said Otis.
"Wow," said Jerome.
"Tell me I'm wrong," said Otis.
"I'm not going to say that, because that's actually my biggest fear," said Jerome.
"That's what I thought," said Otis.
"Mara is so much smarter than me, what if I meet someone who is just a smart as she is," said Jerome.
"And you think she'll dump you?" Asked Otis.
"Maybe," said Jerome.
"Question, would you dump Mara if you met someone in college who had as much in common as you?" Asked Otis.
"No, of course not," said Jerome.
"Well then and neither will Mara, I'm sure, because Mara is not that kind of person," said Otis.
"You really think so?" Asked Jerome.
"Yes, talk to her about this," said Otis.
"You want me to talk about my deepest feelings with her? No, that's not going to happen," said Jerome.
"Okay, then don't, but then your worst fear will come true and you'll lose Mara," said Otis.
Meanwhile, Mara and Joy were in the computer lab.
"Are you okay Mara?" Asked Joy.
"Why do you ask?" Asked Mara.
"Because I get the feeling there's some tension between you and Jerome," said Joy.
"Well, then your feeling is right," said Mara.
"What's going on?" Asked Joy.
"Jerome asked he and I can do something fun together again sometime, I said I don't have time for that because now we are going to be very busy with all kinds of things," said Mara.
"And then he got angry?" Asked Joy.
"Yes and then he started talking about the future of our relationship and whether it still worth it," said Mara.
"I can actually understand why he got so angry," said Joy.
"You do?" Asked Mara.
"Yeah and for someone as smart as you too not see what's going on is pretty crazy," said Joy.
"What don't I see?" Asked Mara.
"He is insecure," said Joy.
"Insecure? Jerome? Jerome is insecure?" Asked Mara.
"Yes, you're going your own way more and more, and he's probably afraid that's the end of your relationship, too", said Joy.
"How can you tell?" Asked Mara.
"Because I had the same thing with Otis, I had insecurities, but when I talked honestly with Otis about it, they disappeared," said Joy.
"How did they disappear?" Asked Mara.
"Because Otis and I love each other and even know that our dreams will lead to other things, it doesn't mean the end of our relationship," said Joy.
"So I have to talk to Jerome, huh?" Asked Mara.
"Yes, talk it out, said Joy.
Mara thought about what Joy said and decided to talk to Jerome about what was bothering him.
A few minutes later, Nina and Aaron were at their lockers and had to figure out how they would get to the musical twins.
"Where do we get musical twins?" Asked Nina.
"No idea," said Aaron.
"Nor do I know of any twins other than just you and Amber," said Nina.
"Yeah, but we're not musical twins," said Aaron.
"No, unfortunately you aren't, I mean you are musically talented , but Amber isn't," said Nina.
"Maybe there are twins here at school," said Aaron.
"And how do we find out?" Asked Nina.
"We can look in the student file," said Aaron.
"Let's try," said Nina.
"I guess that means breaking into Sweetie's office," said Aaron.
"We'll make it quick," said Nina.
Nina and Aaron walked to Mr. Sweet's office and went inside.
"Where can we find the student file?" Asked Nina.
"Maybe on Sweetie's computer," said Aaron.
"You check his computer, I'll check the file cabinet," said Nina.
Aaron turned on the computer, but he needed a password to get in.
"Oh no, his computer is password protected," said Aaron.
"Okay, think what could be a password that Sweetie would use," said Nina.
But before Nina or Aaron could think of anything, heard that Mr. Sweet was coming
Is Mr. Sweet going to catch Nina and Aaron in his office? Or will they somehow manage to get away?
