So my girlfriend had a beautiful idea of what if the psychics could take other's headaches and it resulted in this one-shot lol They don't know much about Psychonauts but they try their best to be interested in my interests which is what matters and it also gave me this one-shot so lol

Anyway, enjoy this little headache-sharing one-shot, and much love to ya!

I rubbed my temples anxiously as I entered Sasha's lab in the agent's wing.

God this is killing me.

I frowned as the doors closed behind me and I wandered further into Sasha's territory.

How was Lili dealing with this? She acted as if it was nothing. That it was just a small thing she could just deal without.

Then why does it hurt so much and everything?

"Rasputin?" I snapped my attention up toward Sasha who seemed to have noticed my presence before I could even get a chance to say hello. "You look rather," The agent hesitated for a moment as he gave me a once over. "What's that American saying? Road hard and put away wet?"

"Are you calling me a horse?"

"Is that what that saying is about?" His eyebrows shot up curiously as he set down the little tools he had in his hands that were messing with something that was sprawled out on his patient's chair. "I swear, they always have the weirdest of sayings." He turned in his chair to give me his full attention as he took off the goggles that simply covered his normal tinted glasses underneath. "What can I do for you? Here to take a whirl in the Brain Tumbler?" I looked over toward the giant machine across from him with a shiver.

With a headache like this? No thank you. It was rather shaking the first time around with that thing when I didn't have something like this going on. I've gotten used to it, yeah, with all my time in the collective subconscious. But! No. Not in this state.

"Actually, I came to ask a favor."

"And what is that, Razputin?" I gave the scientist a sheepish look as I felt as if I was being put under one of his many microscopes.

"I got this raging headache and I-?"

"Have you had one like this before?" Sasha got out of his chair with ease as he grabbed something off his patient's table and walked over toward me. "Any ear irritation or anything?"

"No? I don't think-?" Suddenly, I had a small flashlight shined in my eyes as his index finger pulled down at the spot under my eyes. One after the other. "What are you-?" I was cut off by Sasha as he knelt before me without hesitation.

"On a scale of one to 'it feels like a censor knocking me in the temple', how would you rate your pain?" The scientist shut off the little flashlight before pocketing it in his lab coat's pocket. His two hands now pressing themselves with little pressure to my temples.

"I wouldn't compare it to getting knocked in the temple, but it hurts a decent bit." Sasha pressed a little harder on the outsides of my temples which caused me to wince in pain. "Ouch! I'm delicate there!"

"Have you ever had reoccurring headaches? Migraines either?" I could tell Sasha's movements grew a bit more delicate as he then moved his thumbs along the sides of my forehead.

"No, I never had anything like this."

"How curious." Sasha seemed to go deep into thought as he pulled his hands back from me. "You've got old hairline fractures but nothing that would indicate why you would suddenly have one at a decent pain level." I blushed at his words as he stood back up to his full height. "Been pushing yourself in your personal training? Explore too many minds?"

"No! I learned my lesson on that one." I reached up and scratched the back of my neck as the scientist went back toward his tools.

"Could always strap you into the Brain Tumbler. See if something subconsciously is rattling around."

"It's not that, Sasha, it's-." I hesitated as the scientist looked back toward me with an eyebrow arched. Curiosity oozed from him as he gave me his attention. "It's just a headache." I swallowed hard as Lili's voice filled my head.

"Are you sure you-?"

"It's just a headache, Raz." I remembered how the slight pain in her eyes gave away what anyone else would only take as an annoyed look on her face. "It'll clear. I'll take some pain meds if it makes you happy. I have a little thing of some in my jacket over there." She nodded over toward where her leather jacket was hanging off a shovel she had standing up in the dirt not too far from her. "I'll take some when I'm done here. Just need some quiet to still it is all."

"Promise?"

"I promise. Now stop worrying."

"This is not some normal headache, is it Razputin?" I snapped back into reality as I looked back toward Sasha. There was a soft but serious nature to him that caused me to break my little facade.

"No." I sighed as hung my head a little. "I kind of-." I hesitated as I leaned my weight on my left foot so I could swing my right one back and forth lightly. "I kind of stole Lili's headache." I muttered it a little as I was rather frightened of upsetting the agent once more with me messing with others' brains again.

"You-?" Sasha looked rather surprised by my admission. "That's all?"

"What do you mean 'that's all'?" I grew rather confused as the scientist let out a laugh that honestly sounded a little off, but what wasn't about the German agent?

"Little one, I thought you had pushed yourself too far again. Went off on adventures you shouldn't off and had repercussions from it. Not being an empathic psychic you are."

"So just, taking headache is normal?" Sasha nodded before gesturing to the wall to the right of him. The one that was connecting his little lab with Milla's office.

"Agent Vodello does it quite often with me. Much to my dismay." Sasha stood there for a moment as it seemed as if he was having a conversation with his fellow agent within his mind. "She says hello by the way." He gave a small smile before going toward a small cabinet not too far away from his table.

"Hi, Agent Vodello?" I gave a confused smile as it felt a little odd having a conversation with another psychic through another psychic. But, my attention was snapped out of it after Sasha shook something out of a bottle before placing it down on the cabinet's top and making his way over toward me.

"This is a medication I keep on hand for Milla. She wants me to tell you that the taste isn't the best, but it'll help. It'll clear up the headache within a minute tops. I suggest taking it with a glass of water so it gets settled easy." I extended my hand out toward him as he dropped two little orange tablets in my hand.

"These are much smaller than the aspirins we had at the circus." I looked at the pills in awe as I remembered the big white capsules I had to take as a child.

"Milla has a tolerance for normal pain medication so I made these specifically for her. I figured since you have hairline fractures and an acrobatic background that you probably have a tolerance to normal meds as well, yes?" I nodded my head as he just gave a small smile at the idea. "Then this will do you wonders. I can always make a set for you as well if it takes longer or less to kick in."

"T-Thanks, Sasha." I gave him a little bow of my head as a large smile spread across my lips. "Say thank you to Milla for me too!"

"Anytime, Razputin." With that, the smile kept to Sasha's lips before he turned toward his work once more. "Now, go get yourself some water before Lili puts together that you stole her headache. She's a clever one, after all. Won't take her long to notice it's missing rather suddenly." I nodded my head and turned on my heels to exit his lab.

Water. Pills. Water. Pills.

I made a small little chant in my head as I clutched onto the pills through my gloved hands.

Water. Pills. Lili won't notice.

I nearly jumped out of my skin as the lab doors opened to have an arm-crossed Lili standing right outside them.

Or she already noticed.

"Raz." She drew out my name with an upset tone as she took a step closer to me. "Did you take my headache?" I blushed deeply as I scratched the back of my head with my empty hand.

"What!? No! I totally didn't." I sheepishly chuckled as I could tell she wasn't taking my bullshit. "But if I did-?"

"I have migraines all the time, idiot! You don't need to be taking them from me!" I gave her a confused look as my head tilted to the side.

"You always get them?"

"Pyrokinesis takes a toll, Raz." I gave her a sorry look as I extended my hand toward her and showed her the meds Sasha gave me.

"I wanted to ease the burden a little though. I knew Sasha would have something in his lab for the pain with the Brain Tumbler and everything so I just kinda went 'Hey! I can handle this!' especially with how I have had more head injuries than-." I was cut off as a quick kiss planted itself on my cheek. Right as a hand forced my fingers to close around the pills I was showing her.

"Next time, leave me to the headaches, okay?" I blushed like an idiot as I heard the softness in Lili's voice. As if she was more concerned than angry with me for the whole situation.

"O-Okay." I stammered a little as I tried my best to keep myself steady.

I won't mind another headache if I get another one of those though.
