I watched my feet as I kicked them idly as I waited in one of the chairs in Mr. Zanotto's office. A small hum was escaping me, as the empty office wasn't keeping me company whatsoever.

How much longer?

I brought my right wrist up to check on an old watch Nein had given me over the years to see only a minute had passed since the last time I checked it. I sighed dramatically as I slumped in my chair enough to make my feet touch the floor.

Lili's tutor classes take forever~!

I grumbled a little to myself as I looked over toward the conference room to see Lili with her teacher for the day.

Is that the math guy or the English guy? I know the historical person has cool-colored hair. Atlas was it? I just remember them saying they chose a name for themselves from Greek history. They were always nice.

I sat up ever so slightly to try and get a better look at the little whiteboard her teacher was holding.

It's gotta be English. Why else would there be letters?

... Right?

"Waiting for Lili?" I snapped my head over toward the new voice as they entered the heart of the office. I smiled just a tad at them, as it was no other than Truman Zanotto himself. "Be warned, it's a math day. She might be a little irritated after."

"There are letters in math?" I tilted my head a little as I glanced back to double-check the little whiteboard the teacher was holding. "Cause he's doing something with an a, b, and c."

"It's algebra, Razputin." I looked over toward Truman, who had a soft smile on his face. "Ever heard of it before?"

"Algebra? No, sir. I don't think so at least."

"Well not everyone needs it, but Lili needs those kinds of things with the idea of being Grand Head in her future." I gave him a confused look as I gestured back toward the conference room.

"What does letter math have anything to do with being Grand Head?"

"Well," Truman put a folder on his desk that was to my left before moving to take the seat behind his desk. "There are things like budgeting and scheduling that it'll help with. Real-life variables are also a thing. They happen every day and that's what algebra is most known for helping solve."

"Oh, so it's math that Agent Forsythe must use a lot?"

"Exactly." I looked back over toward where Lili was for a moment before turning my attention back to her father.

"Doesn't look very friendly."

"Oh trust me, I know." Truman laughed gently at himself before continuing. "I was never a math person myself. I was always terrible at keeping the budget balanced. It's why Agent Forsythe keeps a good reign on it. I could never do what that woman can there."

"Do I have to learn those things one day?" I tilted my head curiously as I continued. "As an agent, you know?"

"No, not really. As long as you can do basic math and English, you should be fine as an agent, Razputin."

"Frazie and Mom taught me those things growing up. I'm much more of an English kid though."

"You know," Truman leaned back in his chair with a smile. "I can see that. Though I'm sure if you put that determination to learn psychic techniques to your education, I'm sure you could do anything you put your mind to."

"You think so?"

"Absolutely." I smiled proudly as he grinned in reply. "From what I heard, you are quick the clever young man. I'm sure you could take on whatever comes your way there. Who knows? Maybe that'll lead you to be Lili's Second Head in the future."

"You think I have it in me to do that?"

"You're only ever truly limited to your own expectations of yourself, Razputin." Truman grinned happily as it seemed he believed every word he spoke. "That and I don't think anyone else could handle my daughter as easily as you do." I blushed lightly at the comment as the man gave a knowing look.

"Y-Yeah totally." I mentally face-palmed as I heard the glass door of the conference room open behind me.

"Nope! No more! Fried for the day!" I snapped my attention toward Lili's voice, which showed the shorter girl rubbing her temples as she walked toward me. "If I have to hear the quadratic formula one more time today, I will burst into flames."

"Well, that wouldn't be very nice." I smiled as Lili brought her attention up toward me. "I would have waited for nothing then."

"You don't have to wait for me to be done with my classes you know?" I just shrugged in reply.

"I get bored without you anyway." I could swear I saw a blush creep up on her face before she looked toward her dad.

"You didn't pull out like the baby book or anything, right?"

"Oh, that's a good idea for the future." Truman laughed at the thought before smiling wide. "I'm sure Raz would love to see a baby Lili in a little garden of roses and burning mosquitos."

"You burned mosquitos as a kid?" I couldn't help but chuckle a little as Lili looked annoyed at the thought.

"I hated the fuckers."

"Language, little lady."

"Sorry, dad." I couldn't help but chuckle a little more as I knew Lili hated being called a little lady, but her father was the only one she let's call her that. "Anyway," She turned her full attention toward me before nodding toward the exit. "Wanna go chill in my garden? If I spend any more time inside staring at numbers, I think I'll snap."

"Sure thing." I hopped down from my chair before giving Mr. Zanotto a small wave. "It was nice talking to you, sir."

"Please, call me Truman." The older man gave a gentle smile before speaking once more. "And don't forget what I said, Razputin." I nodded my head before turning my attention toward Lili so we could make our way out.

"Don't forget what?"

"Just some advice as an agent is all." I shrugged it off as I joined Lili's side. "I really don't mind waiting for you, by the way."

"I know I won't be able to stop you anyway, idiot." She slugged me gently in the arm before giving a soft reply. "But I would do the same anyway."

"Would miss me too much?" I teased lightly, which just led to me getting slugged again. This time, a little harder.

"Shut up."
