Unaware of what's going on with their fellow Digidestined on the Smackdown side, the Raw team carries on normally with their business. Through the Digiport to Luke's homebase, checking their digivices boredly. There are a couple of warning zones on the map but Luke informs them that the Smackdown group has handled one, which leaves them a village near where the digital ocean comes to an end. Dolph tenses up when he sees it, his inaction towards it and the guilt he feels because of it weighing him down as they head in that direction, those with partners who can fly offering to help the others whose partners aren't quite there yet get there faster.

"Hey, bro," Zack says, he and Seraphimon flying slowly to talk to Dolph as he and Beelzebumon rush to catch up with the others. "You ok?"

Dolph blinks a few times, peeks over at him. "Not really," he says. "You know where we're going."

"Yeah," Zack says, brows furrowing. "I do. What are you going to do, bro?"

"I'm not really sure," Dolph says. "I don't know what exactly I can do to stop the data flow, that's the problem." He pats Beelzebumon on the side as they come in sight of the village indicated on the digivice, all of the Digidestined landing and looking around as they reorient themselves. Dolph can feel the pulse of the data from here, even though he can't even really see the digital ocean from here.

Zack smiles sympathetically at him and turns to listen as Seth directs them, the group of them hanging out outside of the village. "I don't see anything," he comments, frowning as he looks into the gate surrounding the cluster of homes and other buildings visible from here. "Everything seems really calm..."

But it's not. Dolph can sense it, something's watching them, bushes beginning to rustle not far away. "Hey, guys-"

Then it happens, familiar looking flames fly out from the bushes and target Chad Gable's un-evolved partner, burning hot against Punimon's vulnerable skin. Crying out, Chad starts to beat down the flames with his bare hands, everyone frozen and watching for a few moments until Dolph moves and rushes over to the ocean, scooping up water and running back, pouring it over the small creature and Chad's hands. "Come on!" he snaps, grabbing Chad by the arm and dragging him over to the water, pushing his hands into it to ease the burn.

Beelzebumon marches over to the bushes and swats away flames that try to singe him, unimpressed as he reaches in and grips a struggling Impmon, lifting it up to look at it. Its eyes are shining a sickly yellow, clearly possessed by something, and Beelzebumon swallows hard. "Impmon," he says, unsettled by his fellow kind's possession. "Who has done this to you?"

Impmon struggles, pants heavily, and glares upside down at him. "Let me go," he says darkly.

"I can't do that," Beelzebumon says quietly, turning slightly as Seraphimon walks up to him. "Do you think you can something for him?" He doesn't want to delete this creature, and not just because they are family. Because he can feel Dolph's pain, his guilt and uncertainty about the state of the Digital Ocean, and he doesn't want to add to that, even with this.

"Perhaps," Seraphimon hedges, pressing a finger to Impmon's forehead, ignoring the young digimon's struggle as he closes his eyes and focuses on healing, on calm, on peace. Golden power surrounds Seraphimon, begins to pour out into Impmon. His eyes flicker, the force of evil within him trying to hold on, but failing under the overwhelming flood of Seraphimon's power and influence.

Soon, Impmon's eyes flash their ordinary shade of black and Beelzebumon lays him down, watching as Impmon sleeps on peacefully at their feet. Turning to look at Seraphimon, Beelzebumon nods slowly. "Thank you, brother," he says quietly.

"My pleasure," he responds.

Chad's hands are still stinging but he's doing better than he was, Punimon looking up at him worriedly as Dolph collapses back on his ass and drapes his arms over his knees, feeling a little strangled and tired. Zack joins them after a minute and rubs his back. "Hey, bro, they helped Impmon, he's back to normal now I think. Seraphimon used his powers over light to cure him."

It's a relief but Dolph can barely manage more than a nod as he stares out over the water. "I need to do something about this," he says. He casts exhausted eyes onto Zack and tries to smile. "Hey, kid, I know I'm a jerk to you a lot, but... I don't know what else to do. Would you... accompany me? At least just long enough to try to figure this out?"

Zack stares at him for long, quiet moments. Just when Dolph starts to look nervous, glancing away like he's about to take back his question, he smirks. "Bro, Seraphimon and I would be happy to help. You know you don't need to ask." He playfully nudges Dolph's arm. "Come on. Let's go talk to the others, and then we'll go see what we can do. You know I'm by your side until this is sorted out."

Dolph's eyes soften. "Thank you so much, kid."

Somehow things going wrong when they get back to the others and realize that they're stranded there, no one's digivices working on the portal, just seems about right somehow as they all move as one to return to Luke's homebase to figure out what's going on exactly.
