"Heard anything, mi hermano?" Alberto asks Ricardo as he walks up to him. They stand side by side in Ricardo's yard, listening, watching for anything strange. "It seems peaceful."

"Si, for now," Ricardo murmurs. "No one has relayed anything out of the ordinary to me, but it could be coming at any time. Even Luke seems unsure of when it may begin, but we need to be prepared for it." The problem with that is a lot of the earth bound Digidestined had gotten removed from their respective teams while their partners were still mostly inexperienced and untrained, so most of them are barely past Champion levels. Alberto is a rare exception, his partner having made it to the ultimate level, but Ricardo's is still trapped in his rookie form.

He loves Veemon, but he's honestly not sure if he'd even be any worthwhile help should earth start to get invaded with these frighteningly strong digimon. He looks on glumly, lost in thought about this, when Alberto squeezes his arm. "It's going to be fine, mi hermano. I am here, I will help you defend this country the very best I can."

Ricardo smiles up at him, truly touched by the determination in his voice. "Thank you, El Patron," he says softly, turning back to watch the sun set with him.

Meanwhile back on the Digiworld, the Raw and Smackdown groups are searching, using their digivices, using their partners, using everything they can to try to find the digimon, force him out to show his face so they can defeat him easier. "This is pathetic," Seth declares, most of the Raw group nodding alongside him. "We've been here almost a full day already and no one can even sense Haunglongmon's presence in the air.. Why can't you hire someone to repair this portal or something? We need to go home."

"I am aware," Luke consoles them as best as he can. "We are doing all we can to fix the Digiport, but it's going to require patience from you all until we figure out what Haunglongmon did exactly. I'm sorry."

Seth and Shinsuke exchange glances as their groups start to mumble in disgust. "Alright," Seth says, turning to them and clapping his hands briskly. "Standing around here, complaining, isn't going to accomplish anything. Check your diigivices, we may as well handle whatever crisis pop up while we're here."

No one seems pleased by it, but they check anyway. Upon finding a few spots, they split up and head off to figure out how to help whoever's in distress. Luke watches them go before exhaling quietly and turning back to the deadened digiport. "Anything?" he asks Ophanimon.

"Sadly not," she says grimly. "I have even contacted Tankdramon, he is as clueless as I am right now." She grimaces. "Our best bet is finding Haunglongmon and forcing him to undo this, or plainly defeating him to fix the portals, but we're not going to find him unless he wants to be found,."

Luke sighs, folding his hands behind his back and staring on fretfully. "I know..." He shakes his head, never feeling quite this helpless before. "Thank you, Ophanimon," he murmurs as she takes her leave to get back to work. "There has to be a way to fix this for them, help them return to their lives, their families.. but how.."
