Destruction. Pain. Data so thick that you can barely see anything else. The village, once peaceful, now nothing more than a sight of pain and destruction. Xros Up OmegaShoutmon lumbers around, huge weapons aimed at the various digimon of all levels and types running, shouting, hoping for safety or rescue, just to get blasted away, deleted immediately.

How she escapes, Patamon isn't sure, but she lays in a pile of rubble and breathes in and out hard. There's an alert system, all villages have them, just in case. Luke had visited, put it all in place, showed them how best to use it. She whimpers and struggles, crawling little by little, until it's in sight. She's just made it, pressing a paw against it, feeling it click, a small, red flash coming from it, when she's covered in a deep, dangerous shadow. "Oh no," she breathes, her last words, so futile and helpless, as a blast explodes from the cannons and shatters her body into little particles of data immediately, so suddenly that she didn't hear or feel it.

The alert on Seth's digivice is so sudden, so bright, that it almost vibrates when it shows up. He blinks down at it, shaking his head in confusion. He's never seen something this desperate. "Hey, guys, we gotta move," he says, motioning to the device. Everyone seems to realize it's bad, because no one argues or says anything against the suddenness, simply follows him along the path shown on the map.

It's obvious when they're still far away, smoke and data heavy in the midafternoon sky, and the Digidestined stops short, gaping at the destruction before them. Nothing but rubble remains of the village that had been full of life and happy creatures going on about their day peacefully barely an hour ago. "Holy shit," Seth breathes out, shaky and unsure what to do as he stares at it all. "Holy shit. What do we do?"

No one has a clear cut answer for him, all of them frozen, taking it all in in horror.
