Shinsuke is sleeping peacefully after debuting Sami Zayn as his translator, comfortable in his future success thanks to having some help getting his messages across after years struggling to figure out the English language. The Digiworld has been quiet, only minor missions here and there that all of them find easy enough to defeat. He knows that things will probably get worse, but for now, it's a nice reprieve. Until...
He's standing in the Digiworld, fingers flexing over his digivice, enjoying the peace and quiet surrounding him. Things change in a hurry, to his fear. What once was a clear, blue sky, turns into a dark grey, foreboding and worrisome.
Shinsuke holds his breath, looking once more at the digivice, the map not showing anything new. "What is this?" he asks quietly, the wind shifting, things too quiet and still for his liking all of a sudden. The universe's hint that something is on the horizon. Something bad, something evil. "What is wrong?"
And then, for a wild, fast moment, he sees him in the distance- a familiar Digimon with piercing eyes and large weapons... just to lift his arm and aim it right at Shinsuke. A terribly strong shock wave starts tearing up the ground as it barrels towards him, just for him to wake up babbling in Japanese as the last vestiges of his dream fades away.
He sits there and stares blankly into the darkness, hands trembling and sweat dripping down his jaw. "What was that?" he mumbles to himself, slowly getting up and trying to think of something, anything to hopefully keep them from fighting yet another difficult battle so quickly after Chaos Dukemon. "Please," he whispers, closing his eyes and hoping for the best all around.
