Shinsuke stirs. His head is aching and he generally feels like he's been thrown around for a good hour, every inch of him a fresh throbbing pain as he gingerly sits up. He exhales slowly, trying to regain his bearings... when he remembers. Infermon, and being caught unawares with the rest of the digidestined, poison of some sort overwhelming all of them within seconds and causing them to pass out, left vulnerable to whatever whims of the digimon at fault for this. He can feel his digivice in his pocket, and Coronamon is unconscious next to him, so he tries to tell himself that things could be worse, but he's not entirely sure how.
Struggling to think straight, he looks up into the murky, grey sky overhead, watching how the clouds track, roiling and rumbling with thunder as lightning flashes through the sky now and again. He mumbles in Japanese to himself before coming to a horrible, terrifying realization. "The Dark Ocean," he gasps.
When a voice comes from a few feet away, he jumps and twists to look for the source. "Very well done, yes. You are correct." A Digimon comes into sight through the gloom, long, hooked pincer like arms waving at his sides, large swords clustered at his waist. He looks terrifying and sounds even worse. "You are inside of my Dark Ocean. This is where I have resided for a nice long time, and when a friend came to me for help, well of course, who was I to say no?" He smirks as Shinsuke gapes at him. "But there is nothing to be concerned about, you won't be alone for long." He spreads his long, menacing arms out. "Soon, soon, many will join you here."
He looks smug and at ease even as Shinsuke awkwardly scoops up Coronamon and looks for help, an escape, anything.

Sunlight gleams down upon Chad's face as he stirs, groaning. "Oh God," he moans, squinting over as he hears Aiden too starting to come to. "What happened? Why do I feel like I've been hit by a truck backwards and forwards a million times?" He sits up with a hiss and looks around, certain something's wrong but unable to place it even as Punimon stirs and hops over, settling in his lap with a faint, pained noise. It hits him with a sudden rush. "Oh, crap! Where's Shinsuke?"
Aiden blinks and casts a quick, groggy look around before realizing their leader is, indeed, missing. "Oh no," he groans out, slumping forward.
They exchange glances. "Sami's gonna kill us," both men conclude with no lack of trepidation as they slowly find their way to their feet and try to remember the way back to return to Luke's hideout.
