1Chapter One: Akko makes new friends

Akko walked sleepily into her new apartment, having just arrived from her old home in Hawaii. Tokyo was bigger than she thought and she had gotten lost several times before finally arriving at her new homestead. Akko walked into the old battered doors of the small two storied builds in front of her hoping to skip introductions if she bumped into anyone. The lobby was empty, an old television set blasted in the far right corner and a small fan buzzed on the front desk.

Akko went to the desk and sat her large bags on the floor. Looking around she rang the little silver bell that was faded by the many years that it was used, until a little old lady came to greet her.

"Excuse me, I'm Akko Zurishi," Akko said nicely" the new tenant." The lady gave a forced smile, and slowly opened an old book covered in dust causing Akko to sneeze. The woman was in her late seventies, she had white hair that was pulled into a tight bun, and the biggest glasses Akko had seen since the third grade. "Sign here." said the lady in a squeaky voice. "My name is Mrs.Friggie." she added. Akko sign and asked where her room was. "There are only four rooms so just pick one." Mrs.Friggie replied and went back to what she was doing before. Akko picked up her bags and went up two flights of stars, and picked the room she wanted. "B." Akko whispered. The door was unlocked and Akko went inside, she sat her stuff down and found an envelope on the counter.

Inside it had a key with the letter B carved on it. Akko looked around and to her amazement the room looked almost new. The kitchen was furnished, as was the bedroom and livingroom, The bathroom was tiled and the bathtub new. Akko unpacked her things neatly and put her bags away. "Well," she thought "time to go shop." Akko grabbed her jacket and wallet, then headed out the door.

The streets were busy and crowded, when Akko was done with the shopping. She tried to stay out of peoples was but failed. Akko dropped her bags five times before she made it back to her apartment. Just as she opened the door she dropped her bags again. "Need help?" asked some one from behind her. Akko looked up and smiled "No thank you I can get it." The owner of the voice bent down and helped anyway. "New here?" He asked. Akko smiled again. "How could you tell?"

"Well I've been living here for three years and I've never seen you around." he replied. Akko took her bags inside and asked if her new friend wanted to come in. "My name is Robbie Redford." he said "Nice to meet you im Akko Zurishi." They talked and Akko thought Robbie was Nice but he seemed off. He looked out the window when he talked and fidgeted. Akko was glad when he left, and she put her stuff away in time to get a good nights rest. She ate on the plane and even though the food was not pleasing, It filled her up. Now, all she could do was wait until tomorrow. Then she would start her new job at Kaiba Corp.

NEXT DAY

"Hell," Akko thought "I'm late!" Akko missed her buss at the subway, then couldn't get a cab. She had to run to Kaiba Corp, and when she got there she was a mess. Her hair was sticking up ever which way and her makeup was running. Akko Walked in the huge building hoping to still have her job.

Akko went up to the receptionists desk, "Excuse me," Akko said "I'm-" She was cut off before she could say anything by a cold voice behind her. "Akko Zurishi," it said "Your late."

Akko turned to see a pair of cold blue eyes burning into her. "Hell," Shr thought "this is going to be a very bad day."
