Catra was sitting at the lunch table, deep in thoughts, as to how to get Adora to agree on hanging out together. She really wants to show a song to her, that might make her understand the cat girl better. She can pour her emotions into her songs and she was hoping the girl would accept it, so they would go to Catra's place, where they are alone and no one hears her, but Adora.

She was gathering ideas about this lame ass project and how to cheat it because it has zero meaning for her at the moment, or like anytime soon in her life.

She actually wasn't sitting alone, but with her friends who were talking nonstop about something, but she was so in thought, she didn't even realize they were calling out to her.

"Catra. Catra!" - Eden said, starting to get louder and louder.

"I think she dozed off a bit." - Axel added to this question, concerning what happened to the cat girl. He even waved his hand in front of her, but had no reaction at all.

Eden turned around to see if there was something interesting at sight, that may have caught the girl's attention. When she saw what the girl was looking at all so dreamily, she started laughing hysterically.

"Don't tell me you have a secret thing with the canteen woman!" - She shouted out while laughing so much, she almost died. Axel darted his head around to look at the laughing subject. He started chuckling as well.

"I mean, I support everything, but this is just hilarious. You are one of her cats from the many?!" - He couldn't contain it anymore, and bursted out. At this point basically the whole canteen was looking at them.

And then they started singing for the love of God. Their voice is not that good, but the point got across for Catra, who snapped out of it.

"I can't feel my face when I'm with you" - Eden started, standing up, with one foot on the bench.

"BUT I LOVE IT!" - Axel shouted, and others started to laugh at this stupidity he just displayed with his white haired friend. They joined the laughters so hard after that.

"Shut up, guys." - Catra stood up with her plate of food that almost looked like pigwash. She cracked a smile though in the process. - "There is no salt in this at all, it feels like I'm eating shit that has no taste."

"So you have eaten salted shit before?" - Axel teased, but that only caused Catra to grin.

"I'm not the one with the dog." - Catra said, leaning her head a bit forward.

"I mean you can eat your ow-" Axel started, closing a distance a bit.

"Okay, guys! Can we just, not...?" - Eden said, pushing those two apart a bit, so they wouldn't look like they were about to kiss. Now, that will never happen with those two. And she also did this, because they were talking about some nonsense, and this topic is not advised to be discussed in a canteen, where food is served. Also, not like, this topic is appealing at any time and situation.

Catra and Axel laughed out their teasing, and then Catra went to the canteen woman to ask for some salt.

"What do you want, Catra?" - She asked, not even looking at her, while she put the food on another kid's plate. The impact was so huge, some food even landed on the student's shirt. He scoffed then walked away.

"Can you put some salt on this...? Well, only if you don't need an explanation on what it is." - She laughed, while looking away.

"Do you like insulting people? 'Cause I do, so you won't get any. Have a nice meal." - The woman said, looking up at her by the end of her sentence. Catra's smile faded as her expression turned into an irritated one. She turned around at her failure to get salt, then started walking back.

"I don't need your salt, you old hag." - She said under her nose.

"I heard that. Go see the principal when you finish with your classes." - The woman said in an amused tone.

"Like I would do that." - She said to herself, and this time she was far away so the lady didn't hear it.

"Well, the mission failed. Maybe your dog's shit even better than this." - Catra said as she sat down, plopping her tray on the table and started picking her food. She just stirred it around in her plate, and her appetite was gone at this point.

"I can bring you some tomorrow, if you want." - Axel said, which made Catra laugh and to totally forget about the food.

"You guys are so disgusting." - Eden retorted, covering her face with sickening.

Adora was sitting a bit further away from the group of Catra and her friends. She was sitting with Bow and Glimmer who were minding with their food. They could totally understand where Catra came from, because it was indeed bad.

Catra must have said something to the canteen woman so she didn't give her salt. She can be so rude with people and she finds it funny, but most of the people take it as an insult, when in her case, it is not necessarily meant as that. Even Adora takes it as that sometimes. Catra is just that person, who always teases the others. But this time, she was probably just in general, she was rude with the lady.

"Just a minute." - She got up and went to the canteen woman.

"Ughh, Adora. Did she send you?" - The lady asked, but Adora apologized in Catra's place immediately.

"No, I just saw it, and we really do need salt. I'm sorry, she is difficult... like, always." - She said with a long face.

"Of course, here." - She gave Adora a small container. Hopefully salt is in it and not sugar.

"Thank you, I will just... try talking some sense into her." - Adora said, already started walking away.

"I guess the principal will do that." - The woman said, which made Adora sigh. Of course she already got a ticket to the principal's monologue. Itt will be a boring one, for sure. Catra will not remember anything either way.

She walked to the table, where Catra and the others were. They were talking pretty loud. When she got there, Axel noticed her.

"'Sup, Adora!" - He greeted her. To this Catra snapped her head up from her thing that was called food.

"Hey, Adora, what's up?" - Eden asked as Adora smiled at her.

"I just... grabbed the salt, if you need any." - Adora said shyly.

"Yess! Savior of the day!" - Axel shouted, while he accepted the salt from the blonde.

"Thank you." - Catra said, kinda quietly, like she was embarrassed.

"You're welcome." - Adora said, then turned around and went back to their table.

At least they got salt in the end.
