"Wait, run that by me again," Seth says, a frown on his face. Shinsuke is by his side, a vague look of frustration twisting his lips. They purposely ignore each other, listening to Luke intently.

"Raw team was sent off to take care of a mission, and they came upon an Omegamon Alter-S. This is an unknown type of Digimon, and I prefer they not deal with it on their own, especially without Asuka. Would you mind going to back them up?" Luke requests and Seth exhales, twitching when Shinsuke immediately agrees.

"We need to know more," Seth begins to insist, but everyone ignores him, eager to get moving on their own pre-mission responsibilities. "Excuse me!"

"You're excused," Owens says cheerfully and Seth glowers at him, at all of them, before throwing his arms up in the air and storming off to prepare as well.

"Sorry, Seth," Betamon says hesitantly, looking up at his partner.

"Idiots, never listening to me- of course we'll go, but wouldn't it be smarter to learn more, realize as much as we can before we throw ourselves into the deep end like this?" He continues muttering under his breath, anger growing with each second, until finally it's time to go.

"Digiport open!" Shinsuke declares, their digivices lighting up to power the portal to send them through to where the Raw team had last been heard from.

It's blustery and cold when they arrive, Seth grimacing at the first sign of a digital disruption in the area. "Well, that' snot good," he mutters, casting a quick glance around, trying to spot the other digidestined, or this Omegamon Alter-S creature. "Where should we go, o masterful leader?" he asks, voice dripping with sarcasm, and Shinsuke hums, ignoring the bite behind his words, before turning to the left.

"The signal comes from here," he says, tapping his finger against the map of the device.

The others all fall in line behind him and Seth grits his teeth but complies, hatred bleeding out of his pores with every step taken, however. Shinsuke watches closely, they all- even Seth- do, but nothing's blatantly obvious, and then they hear it. An explosion and startled cries of pain. "Shit, here we go," Seth mutters, following the others into the heart of the panic, suddenly surrounded by dirt and dust, worked up from a crater directly in front of them. "Holy crap."

It's larger than any of them have seen, even Shinsuke, just like someone had completely detonated a full football sized field, and they stare on in awe before hearing more explosions and cries of agony. "This way!" Shinsuke calls out, leading the group into a run around the crater.

When they finally arrive, they stop short, gaping at the digidestined, their partners, scattered around on the floor in front of them, way too still and quiet for comfort.

Shinsuke grinds his teeth together, eyes ablaze suddenly. "Digivolve!" he commands his partner, relieved when the others follow suit. His gaze flickers over to the others and he exhales shakily. "Please hang on. We'll do our best to save you all shortly. I swear."
