BORUTO ALTER: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS

SEVEN HOURS BEFORE BORUTO ENCOUNTERED SHINKI…

"MANGEKYO…SHARINGAN..!"

Mizabëshiki's byakugan narrowed in dim amusement.

It could sense traces of Kaguya within this screeching blonde warrior-

Remnants of Her chakra.

Though this one..

The man's Sharingan were natural products of Kaguya... however, his body, and further, the chakra generated directly from him-

Mizabëshiki winced.

"Your existence is an unnatural one…it seems." Mizabëshiki's deep voice ventured.

" It is easy to see your reality. I am sorry. You were no doubt forced into a life of cold vigil." Mizabëshiki finished.

At the same time, the blonde warrior's Mangekyo darted to glance at the Jinchüriki-

Just as the Beast swordsman whispered into a flash of lightning and air.

Mizabëshiki raised its crescent katana-

!

Mizabëshiki's byakugan bellowed beside its temples. It spun on the heels of black boots, swiping away wisps of lethal, nearly invisible metal slashes that burst into existence seconds behind Mizabëshiki's body.

Beads of sweat formed upon Mizabëshiki's forehead, curling into the beak of its mask. Mizabëshiki hated itself for the showering feelings of relief when the Beast-spawn disengaged.

The old man hopped a few paces backward.

"You're already lagging behind...?" His voice gave way to a raspy chuckle.

Mizabëshiki's pale eyes widened.

This chakra-

Red haze curled about the man, forming into the shape of four tails, wavering horns wisping beside lowered onyx goggles.

In the next half second, lightning flashed.

Mizabëshiki blinked. Pain kneaded across its skin-

My arms…feel as if they're on fire.

Mizabëshiki's bent katana shook, smoke rising from a reddened blade.

Its vision was dizzy-

Mizabëshiki gazed down to a trail of upturned rock that led to its own bloodied boots.

Air crackled.

"You blocked that…" The Jinchüriki's voice came from behind-

Panic- true panic, rang triumphantly within Mizabëshiki's nerves.

It gritted hidden teeth.

No.. I need this.

Despite what was given to me..

I need to hone this power!

However..

Wind buffeted Mizabëshiki's eyes.

Murderous intent erased all of its thoughts, replaced instead with the objective order to survive.

Mizabëshiki's mouth contorted underneath a curling beak, nearly breaking its own ankles as it twirled to the right-

Just as twin blades stabbed into the stone seconds after, parting smoke revealing the Jinchüriki's advance.

"Mizabëshiki.."

A loving tone, a knowing one, emanated from the wind as it called.

Hailing somewhat above stray clouds, kissing Mizabëshiki's ears, playing through its onyx hair.

?

Why.. why did that sound like-

Momoshiki..?

Mizabëshiki froze.

Something familiar but situationally alien slithered within Mizabëshiki's consciousness-

Deep feelings of joy- happiness even-

Rattled within that singular utterance of Mizabëshiki's cherished name.

Its nerves pulsed-

Mizabëshiki…

Momoshiki's voice echoed, ripping through Mizabëshiki's senses.

Mizabëshiki dropped a curved blade-

A pressure of love.. loyalty, the need to please.. all of these feelings erupted in bellowing hues.

It was-

Mizabëshiki's Byakugan honed in on the blonde anaomly- he hadn't moved.

Rushing winds clarified Mizabëshiki's quivering skin.

Calls of Lord's chakra.. no.. more than that. Whispers of my Lord's very presence.. are being summoned by that man!

Mizabëshiki's byakugan then noticed the blonde caster's hand-

He was bleeding before.. he was missing fingers..now.. he's healed..?!

At the same moment of that horrified dawning..

Mizabëshiki's neck tore open.

The Jinchüriki's swords came afterwards, chased by an arc of electricity.

Mizabëshiki spun around, following the weight of the attack. It gasped, blood spurting downwards as it kicked its weapon upwards to a waiting palm, crescent sword catching the Jinchüriki's blades as they came barreling for its left shoulder.

The weight of the man's strength dug upon Mizabëshiki-

Causing the stone below them to crush deeper into earth.

Enough!

Mizabëshiki pulsed chakra from within it, sending a shockwave of air that propelled the Jinchüriki into the murky clouds above.

Mizabëshiki threw its katana into the air, pointing it upwards.

In the next blink, Mizabëshiki and its sword were above even the low clouds, catching the jinchüriki as it summoned more Beast chakra.

Trying to cushion your free fall, are you?!

Mizabëshiki threw its sword upwards again, this time pointing it directly for the Jinchüriki's body.

Mizabëshiki's chakra flared, gravity propelling it and its blade directly into a flailing victim. As they fell, blood sped from the Jinchüriki's mouth-

Mizabëshiki sneered, ensuring that its bent katana cut through the beast's organs.

It'll survive.. I need to ensure its incapacitated. Then I can actually focus on its guardian.

Entangled killers burst through heavenly haze.

The air hissed in Mizabëshiki's ears, thrilling it while plummeting back to ground below, landing within plumes of darkened smoke.

"Killer Bee!"

Mizabëshiki's senses perked at the Sharingan Holder's concerned cry-

It was, surprisingly, a sound that brought a smile to the corners of Mizabëshiki's mouth.

So.. even a dull creation such as this is capable of genuine care? Emotion..?

Mizabëshiki scoffed.

These humans..

Though I suppose neither of them are human any lo-

Mizabëshiki looked down to see not the Jinchüriki, but a wriggling tentacle.

Its byakugan screamed as vision revealed the Jinchüriki pouncing from growing fog, now carrying three swords.

Despite Mizabëshiki's wounds, it rushed to-

Mizabëshiki gasped, coughing up blood as it fell to shaking knees.

That feeling.. it came again. Throes of love.. family.

Longing.

A Pale white hand cut from Mizabëshiki's chest, raising to caress its cheek.

Before the technique fully took hold, Mizabëshiki closed its eyes, flaring a message of chakra into the fog that lurked all around.

Garuneskha! Hur-

Alongside Mizabëshiki's message, the last voice it wanted to hear within harried once more, carried by faint rushing waves.

You have done so well.. Mizabëshiki.

Momoshiki's stolen voice seemed to be all that Mizabëshiki could perceive.. despite the pain.

A tear fell from Mizabëshiki's lidded eyes.

"Fly like a butterfly.."

You must rest now. I demand it.

A rush of air.

"Sting.. like a bee!"

Bright flashes of sparks lined both sides of its neck.

The attack was meant to decapitate.

However, Mizabëshiki's head hung onto a resilient sliver of meaty spinal bone.

Mizabëshiki rolled to the stone, gasping as its lungs filled with blood.

A shadow loomed above it-

Mizabëshiki's dimming sight caught two Sharingan that seemed nearly resplendent in a dying mind.

"So..that's..your juts-" it attempted-

Only for its gargling speech to be silenced instantly.

Koië frowned, stabbing his katana through the crown of the beaked monster's scalp.
