His Angel

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

She walked down the aisle, white lilies in her hands,

Her dress was pure white with sewn on pearls,

Her hair was up in a bun with wisps of her golden locks around her face,

She was beautiful.

She was his angel.

Everyone was in awe by her site.

Her mother sat at the front, crying, while her friends smiled at her,

But no-one had a big a smile as her,

It lit up the room, filling it with the sunny glow only produced from her.

Only from his angel .

As she reached the pew, he saw the tears in her eyes,

But they were happy tears, tears of joy.

He wiped them away with his thumbs, as the vicar started the service,

But he didn't hear any of it,

He was to focused on his angel.

The one person who made his world,

The one person who stood by his side when no else would,

The one person who he treated like an angel,

His angel, no else's.

Just his angel.
