They've lost. Docmon is too... too ruthless, too determined to see his work to its completion. He tortures them, catching them one by one with his poisons. They're not sure what's in the syringes he takes great pride in stabbing them with, but they all writhe on the ground, certain death is coming. Their partners seem to be on the brink of deletion. All hope is lost, Shinsuke thinks as he struggles just to crawl forward, touch Apollomon. Something, anything.

Carmella, Tamina, Gable, Owens, Ziggler, they're all scattered around him, some shaking, some panting and gasping in pure agony. All slowly succumbing to whatever Docmon's injected them with.

Then there's a flash, and an explosion, and a familiar, breathless voice, overhead, MetalSeadramon roaring as his mass fills the area up, twists around Docmon, and shatters both of his syringes. "You don't need those," the digimon informs him coldly. "Where you are going."

Docmon barely even flinches at the loss of his two main weapons. "You seem familiar," he says quietly, and MetalSeamon seems to only tangle around him even tighter. "Aw, is your partner here? I would love to see him again, it's been too long. I think a reunion would be amazing this weekend." He tosses his head back and yells. "Seth, come out come out wherever you are, and maybe your partner won't die too horribly."

It's then that MetalSeadramon realizes his folly. Docmon's syringes had reformed at some point, and in twisting tighter around him, all MetalSeadramon had accomplished was getting even closer to the tips, embedding one of them right between his armored gills. He suddenly wheezes, realizing his grip on Docmon is slipping as his energy fades. "N- no," he pants, trying to redeem this situation, get ahold again- but it's too late.

Docmon has just broken free of MetalSeadramon's hold, hitting the floor and looking up at the motionless, dying digimon overhead, when he hears footsteps and turns to find... Seth himself, leaning against the doorway, glowering at him.

"You want me?" he asks, still not steady on his feet but trying, trying so hard to do the right thing and help those around him steadily dying. "I'm right here, jackass."
