Carmella feels the shift as MetalSeadramon arrives. He is large, he is magnificent, and for a short moment, she forgets how much pain she's in. They'd all lost, weakening by the moment due to the poison Docmon had inject them with, but here's Seth, staring at them from where he's struggling to stand in the doorway, and even though he's pale, and weak too, it's still the most beautiful sight any of them think they've seen in awhile. "Please," she breathes out, and his gaze flickers towards her for a moment before training back on Docmon.
"You're not hurting any more of them anymore." How he finds the strength and will to pull away from the wall and march forward, Carmella will never know, but MetalSeadramon is behind him, primed and ready to attack at first chance, and she breathes a little easier when Docmon honestly seems floored.
"How are you still alive?" he sneers at Seth. "Most humans would've given into the pain long ago."
"I ain't most humans," he snaps back. "Lemme prove it to you." He lifts a hand- the glove on it stained, shredded by the fingers, but still a striking image. Immediately MetalSeadramon slams forward and Seth lunges too- one to attack, the other to push Carmella onto the floor and shield her as the room flashes with blinding brightness.
When she becomes aware of her surroundings again, they're outside. MetalSeadramon's attack was vicious enough to tear through the room they'd been hidden away in, poisoned and tortured, and now they're surrounded by blue skies above and impacted dirt below. She breathes in deeply and twists to watch as MetalSeadramon blasts Docmon anew, the two digimon intent in their battle and barely paying attention to anything around them.
"You hurt Seth!" MetalSeadramon screams at him. "And my other friends! I will not let you get away with it!"
Docmon's laughter is suddenly cut short when the angered Digimon lunges forward, tangles his tail around him, and lifts him high before slamming him back down into the ground, catering it. MetalSeadramon then pours fresh, blue energy down upon where he'd landed.
The digidestined all hold their breath for long, tense moments, waiting. Watching. Hoping. "Is... is that it?" Carmella finally breathes out, eyes wide, as the silence lingers. "Is Docmon... dead?"
All they can do is stand and wait, hoping beyond all measure, as the dust settles and allows them to see.
