After so long in the Digiworld, earth feels... stifling. Like gravity is pinning him down, and the oxygen feels weird on his tongue. Shinsuke closes his eyes and raises his head, letting the sun wash over his skin, marveling at how at least that feels the same. Seth is somewhere in the distance, the other digidestined wandering around, trying to regroup as well, and Shinsuke exhales at the peace of it all.

Here, there's no digimon to fight, or life threatening situation to fear cropping up out of the blue. It's going to take some time to stop being so tense, though, Shinsuke thinks, as a blonde interviewer approaches him and he has to grit his teeth, staring down at her as he waits for her to come to the point of this impromptu interview. It never really seems to come to his taxed mind and eventually she thanks him and leaves, and he exhales, closing his eyes.

They're back to doing shows in front of a crowd now and he's not sure how to feel about that, still distracted and overwhelmed by all they've recently experienced, but his body catches up where his mind cannot, and when he eventually cinches the win, he smirks over at Rick Boogz and enjoys his playing before they head backstage, Rick clapping his shoulder and taking his leave, to Shinsuke's relief and consternation. He's still not used to being alone after so many weeks always having someone nearby in the digiworld.

"Oh, well," he tells himself vehemently. "You're fine." He turns to head for his locker room, find Chronomon, when he almost runs straight into- Seth, the man barely flinching at Shinsuke's rough approach. "Oh, Seth," he says quietly. "I did not realize you were standing there. Apologies."

Seth waves a hand away, dismissing the comment, then looks away for a few moments before squaring his shoulders and eyeing Shinsuke. "I have been... wandering around, thanking people," he says stiffly. "All of you stayed by me, helped me survive this whole Docmon mess." For a moment, his hand rests on hte spot where one of the needles had shredded him apart the worst. "Guess it makes sense to finish off tonight before we both leave." He inhales deeply, locks eyes with Shinsuke and says it. "Thank you for everything, Shinsuke. If not for you and the others, I would be dead right now, and I'm not sure how to repay that."

Shinsuke swallows, hard. He had never expected acknowledgment from Seth of everything they'd done for him, much less this level of sincere gratitude that he can feel emanating from the man, even if it is mixd iwth some embarrassment and discomfort. Shinsuke decides to put him out of his memory. "Of course," he finally says quietly. "We are digidestined, that's what we're suppsoed to do. For the world, for each other." Still, he meets Seth's eye steadily and claps him on the back. "You are quite welcome, Seth Rollins."

Conversation done, Shinsuke hums and walks around Seth and takes his leave, feeling better about things now. More settled. There will be more reasons to go to the digiworld soon. But for now, this... home... is perfectly fine as well.
