"Are you sure you're ok?" Ciampa asks, walking side by side with Miz.

"I'm not great," he mumbles, digging his fingers through Monodramon's short fur. "But I think mostly I'm just confused. I don't... remember a lot of it. Just waking up, struggling to breathe while Seth leaned over me. I don't know."

"You touched Ziggler's tag, and just crumpled," Ciampa says. "The tag was hovering. Like, it had no gravity. I've never seen anything like it before."

"I think his tag has been twisted by darkness," Seth mumbles, joining them. "Not sure how, or to what extent, but it sensed Mike and his crest of light, and decided to try to neutralize him." Seth searches Mike's wan expression. "I think you're its greatest weakness now."

"Yeah," Mike sighs. "Same with the Dark Ocean. What am I supposed to do, Seth?"

"Maybe nothing," Seth hedges slowly. "Give us time, we'll work this out. I won't put you in further risk until I know what we're walking into."

"I appreciate it," Mike sighs. "Ya know, I've got two little girls waiting for me at home, Seth. I can't -" He falters and looks away, rubbing his bruised ribs from the compressions. "It was too close."

"I know," Seth says, exhaling. "I'm sorry. I know exactly how you feel. Trust me, I never expected anything like this." The group walks on quietly for awhile, until Dolph stops shortly and lifts his tag up.

"What is he doing?" Asuka asks, a frown on her face.

"Million dollar question," Rhea huffs, her and Damian loitering back from the others as they watch Dolph gazing around as if searching for something.

Seth steps forward as if to approach him, but stops short when a deep, dark beam blasts out of Dolph's tag and slams into the ceiling of clouds overhead. "Oh shit," Seth exhales. "What the hell is that? Ziggler!" he yells out, pitching his voice loudly. "What the hell are you doing?"

Dolph doesn't answer, continues to hold his tag up high, watching the sky slowly parting under the power of the dark beam blasting out of it.

"Is that... the Dark Ocean?" Mike breathes out, growing pale as he looks up at it, speechless.

"I'm afraid so," Seth mumbles. "I guess it's time for us to go back in there."

"Oh god," Mike whimpers. "I was hoping you weren't going to say that."

Dolph finishes and drops his arm back to his side, breathing heavily as he peers up at the sky, open and waiting for him. "Dark Ocean," he calls out. "Take me. Bring peace back to this world. Forgive it for my sins. Please."

The last thing Seth sees is him standing in a sudden, sharp, sea of blackness that seems to blanket everything within view.
