Author's Note: Well looky here. Another chapter? So soon? It's only been a week? Didn't you say that you didn't have a backlog and that you were doing school stuff? Well, yes I did; however, last week was not too much work, and I pretty much wrote this chapter in the span of 2 days. Basically 2k words one night, and then the night after during a pretty bad insomniatic episode, I managed to finish it. So... Yeah, I hope you enjoy it. I do like how it turned out. Let me know what you think!

Also, if you want to get into a place with other lovers of MHA, and specifically IzuJirou stuff, come on and join this Discord server that I'm on: /eFtmT8cTbY We're only kind of crazy, and not at all a cult... except, we also kind of are. Anyway, yeah, join that! I hope you enjoy this chapter! It's cross-posted on Ao3 as well. Leave a review if you want to. I welcome the feedback! See you next week.

"So, Himiko. Are you ready for your first mission with us?" Izuku asked as he sat across the table from their new member.

"Yeah! I'm ready to prove myself to you!" Himiko clenched her hand tightly in determination, a wide smile on her face. "Just so I can still remember, what's everyone's code name, again?"

"I'm Snake Eyes."

"Heartquake."

"I am NightHawk."

"Mastermind."

"And I'm Overwatch!" Mei said.

"It's good that you recognize how important our code names are." Izuku said.

"Yeah! It's so we don't get our identities found out!" Himiko said happily.

"Good. Now, do you have one for yourself?" Mei walked up to her and draped the finished costume over her shoulder.

"I was thinking, but I couldn't think of anything that sounded fun. You guys have such cool names!" She said, exasperated.

"Well what did you come up with?" Hitoshi asked.

"The Mosquito!" Himiko said, striking a pseudo-heroic pose.

Kyouka stifled a laugh."Got anything else?" She asked.

"Mood Ring!"

"That one's a bit better." Izuku said. "But let's see what else you have."

"I only have one more. So whenever I leave a transformation, there's all this gray goop that falls off of me, so… Goopy!" She said.

"Alright, so Mood Ring is probably the best one so far." Izuku said. "Any thoughts from anyone?"

"I think that there's definitely some room for improvement there." Mei said. After a bit of thinking, she spoke again. "How familiar are you with Scandinavian folklore?" Nobody responded for quite a few seconds. "Alright, well I guess that answers that. Anyway, in Scandinavian mythology, there are these things called Changelings. Over time, the mythos has changed to be people with the ability to change their appearance." Mei explained. "If the ones that Himiko came up with aren't to everyone's liking, then there's the possibility of that?"

"That's better than the ones I had! I'll take it! Call me Changeling!" Himiko said happily.

Everyone seemed to have the same thought. She seemed to change her mind really fast.

"If that's what you want, then that's great. Welcome to Societas Requiem, Changeling." Izuku said. Himiko jumped up and down excitedly while everyone else clapped for her. "Now, onto the mission." Izuku said. He nodded at Mei, who grabbed a map and laid it on the table.

"Okay, I'll be driving us to Shizuoka. Suit up, everyone." Mei said. "I'll explain the mission information on the way." Mei stood up and went to her room to change.

"You heard the lady. I'm looking forward to seeing how everyone works together now." Izuku smiled at the remaining people. Everyone except for himself went to their rooms with Kyouka changing in his room. He waited until she came out before he went to change. He was a gentleman, after all.

"So let me get this straight." Himiko started. "We're going in to stop some kind of deal?"

"Yeah, this is from U.A.'s official database." Mei said from the wheel.

"We've dealt with a few of these so far." Izuku said. "Two, I think. They haven't been too bad. The first one was a little rough, but we managed to get through it, and there was a second one that seemed a whole lot easier. We stopped this lady named Blackout, too. Apparently, the police were after her for quite a while. It was thanks to NightHawk there that we took her out easily." Izuku gestured to Fumikage.

"Revelry in the dark." Fumikage said. Dark Shadow came out of him and nodded.

"Right. And then we took out some random people, one guy in Akihabara and some in Nagano. And then of course, we took down Stain. We think the guys in Nagano were connected to the first group that we took out. They have some kind of special bullet. Hey Mei, any progress in analyzing it?" Izuku asked.

"Yeah, let me get you the answers while I'm also doing research on targets, making the costumes, making new babies, and doing repairs. Give me some time!" Mei responded with a huff.

"Sorry, sorry." Izuku apologized to Mei. Turning back to face Himiko, he continued. "Anyway, do you have any questions for us before we get to our destination?"

"Ummm…" Himiko put her finger on her chin as she thought for a second. "What are all of your quirks? I don't think I ever actually learned them."

Izuku blinked for a second in surprise. "Oh… Right… Yeah, that's kind of important. Well, mine is really complicated. I can make things lucky or unlucky, and then I can also change the probability of something that happens as long as its likelihood is greater than zero. If I influence probabilities too much one way, then I basically get barred from that way, and I have to influence things the other way before I can use my quirk normally."

"Wow, that's really cool!" Himiko said. "Now, Kyokyo is next!"

"Kyokyo?" Kyouka asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah! We're friends now, so I wanna give you a nickname!" Himiko responded.

"R-Right… Anyway, I have these." She wiggled her jacks. "I can make my heartbeat come out of them. I have speakers that I can use to amplify the sound, too. I can do that when I punch things to make them harder. I can also kind of make a wall of sound that stopped those weird bullets that Izu mentioned earlier, but it kind of destroyed a bit of the wall that the sound bounced off of. I can also hear really well." Kyouka explained. Himiko sat in her seat with her feet off the ground. She was kicking her legs in excitement as her gaze moved to Hitoshi.

"My quirk is called Brainwashing. If someone responds to something I say, I can control them to a limited degree. I can't make them talk or use their quirk, but I can give them simple instructions. Being hit while in this state makes people come out of the trance." Hitoshi explained.

"That sounds so good for capturing people!" Himiko expressed excitedly. "What about you, Fumikage?"

"I have Dark Shadow. He is essentially another mind. He is weaker the brighter things are. He is most powerful at night, but it is difficult to control him in complete darkness. I have managed to merge with a darkness powered Dark Shadow for a short time, but it tires me out. I passed out." Fumikage explained. "Revelry in the dark."

"Yeah, I saw him just as he achieved it. I had to take him to my house for him to recover." Izuku explained.

"Meimei! Your turn!" Toga said.

"My quirk is Zoom. I can zoom my vision and see things in good detail from about five kilometers away." Mei explained, never taking her eyes off of the road.

"Wow! You all have such cool quirks! I can't wait to work with you guys!" Himiko smiled. The rest of them smiled as well. She seemed to be a cheery spirit for the most part, and that relaxed them.

The rest of the ride went by rather uneventfully, and the six of them shared a few laughs along the way. When it came to just interacting with people, the original five felt that Himiko fit well with them. Different, but in a good way.

"Alright, you five. You're about a block away from your destination." Mei said over the comms. The late afternoon sun had just set past the buildings, setting the streets aglow with a warm golden auburn. Plenty of shadows for them to sneak through.

"Changeling. You're good at hiding. Go with Mastermind. He should be able to utilize your skill set." Izuku commanded. "Us three are going to try for a frontal assault, and you two should find a way around from the side or through the back if you can."

"Yes, sir!" Himiko responded. She immediately fell behind Hitoshi, and with a nod from him, the two of them slipped into the shadows.

"You two, we're going to come in fast and hard. Those two are for people that try to run away. Heartquake, we'll be relying on your recon." Izuku whispered as the three of them approached the front door.

Slowly, Kyouka put her jack into the door and began to listen. A few seconds later, she began to speak over the comms. "Something isn't right. There's no sound. Overwatch, can you see if there's something going on?"

"Hmmm…" Overwatch responded. "There's heat signatures in there, but… None of them are moving."

"Strange." Fumikage pondered.

"Whatever is going on, be careful." Mei urged.

"Heard. Front team, set up some infiltration. We'll be going in soon." Izuku stepped back as Kyouka placed some of her bluetooth speaker bombs next to the wall. Dark Shadow emerged and readied itself to push through the wall if it wasn't already completely destroyed by the speakers.

"We're ready, Snake Eyes." Kyouka said.

"Blow it." Izuku replied. Kyouka put her jacks into her ports and blasted sound through the speakers, denting the stone wall heavily. Dark Shadow took the initiative and slammed into the wall, breaking through it. The three of them rushed into the room and took defensive stances.

As the dust cleared, the three saw several bodies prone on the ground, probably unconscious. They also saw a single person squatted in the middle of the room. He slowly stood up, and they could see his black jumpsuit, long black hair, and gray scarf-like object wrapped around his neck. His back was turned to them, but he slowly turned around. "Well, well, well. I was wondering when you were going to show up. I've been searching for you for a while." The man grabbed the scarf and pulled. When he did, his hair began to lift in the air, and the three of them could see gleams of red from within the man's mask. The scarf began to unwrap from his neck and hovered there menacingly.

"Eraserhead!" Izuku said, both to himself and over the comms.

Eraserhead let his scarf return back to normal as he spoke. "So you've heard of me. Interesting. I thought I stayed out of the light enough to be somewhat unknown. Well, Snake Eyes, is it?" Eraserhead asked. When he did not hear a response, he continued anyway. "You five are quite formidable, I'll give you that. Taking down Blackout and then Stain? Now, don't get me wrong, while vigilantes are essentially criminals, I have worked with some in the past." He paused again, waiting for anything. When nothing was said still, he continued. "But you five are different. You're different because you have the agenda that you're pushing, and that's dangerous. So we can do this the easy way or the hard way, but either way, this is ending quickly. I'm rather tired, and fighting against a pro hero like myself is illogical."

With that, Eraserhead jumped into action, quite literally jumping into the air, and sending his scarf speeding towards the group of three. Izuku, Kyouka, and Fumikage managed to dodge out of the way, each tucking into rolls. The scarf impacted the ground and sent up a small cloud of dust.

Izuku threw out a few dice bombs, changing their rolls to 1s. As soon as they landed, Eraserhead jumped out of the way just in time to dodge the explosions. As the pro flew backwards in the air, Dark Shadow manifested and lashed out. Eraserhead sent his scarf out, wrapping it around the quirk, pulling himself towards it and slamming it into the ground as he landed on it. Retracting his scarf, he rushed towards Fumikage. The red flash from behind Eraserhead's mask appeared again, and Dark Shadow dissipated. He bombarded Fumikage with a flurry of knees and elbows, using his scarf to pull the boy into the range of his attacks.

Kyouka rushed at the man who was currently assaulting her friend and began sending speaker-enhanced sound punches at the man. A few of them hit, and when they did, they definitely didn't tickle. He was sent tumbling from the hits, but he managed to catch himself out of the roll. He stood up and began running again, but as Kyouka charged at him to punch him, he vaulted over her and used her head as a springboard to leap further in the air. He turned around midair and shot his scarf at the girl, wrapping her up and pulling her close as the red light appeared once more.

"I can't use my quirk!" Kyouka shouted from her binding.

Izuku took this chance to act. He rushed forward and activated his quirk as he looked at the man in front of him. From his notes, he remembered that the man could erase quirks, but he had to be looking at someone to do so. He saw the perfect probability: 'Dry Eye: 50%'. He shot the probability of that up to 100% and yelled to Kyouka. "Now!"

Kyouka took the hint, and once the red light from behind Eraserhead's mask faded, Kyouka put her jacks into the ports on her shoulder. For the first time, she was using her speaker array on her back, but she was glad to have it at all. With a blast of sound, she forced the scarf capture binding thing to loosen, and she slipped out, rolling out of the way.

"That was less time than it normally is…" Eraserhead whispered to himself as he held onto his scarf. Izuku saw a door behind Eraserhead slowly open, and Hitoshi and Himiko both quietly crept into the room. Seeing this, Izuku began to speak to distract his opponent. He wanted to give his comrades some time to get in.

"Why are you here?" Izuku asked, standing tall against his opponent.

"I could ask the same for you. These are my jobs that you're doing for me. But I got here early this time. Earlier than I normally would have. So why are you here?" He asked in response.

"We're here to change things!" Kyouka said, joining Izuku.

"Keep stalling. I'll be right there!" Mei said over her comms. "I'm going to see if we can make contact with him."

Looking back and forth between Kyouka and Fumikage, Izuku nodded. The three of them stepped forward, and Hitoshi and Himiko slowly crept forward as well. Himiko leapt forward and held her breath, erasing her presence.

She slowly pushed one of her knives into its holster, coating it in the numbing agent that Mei had developed. She slowly removed the knife and approached Eraserhead. Uncapping one of her bottles, she inserted her knife into Eraserhead's arm and let some of his blood pour into the vial.

From what Izuku could see, Himiko just kind of disappeared, but a few seconds later, there she was again behind their opponent, her eyes filled with excitement as some of his blood filled one of her vials. It was at this moment that Eraserhead became aware of her presence as well, and he elbowed her with his now cut arm and jumped away. Hitoshi took this opportunity to make himself known as well. Hitoshi fell into formation in a circle surrounding their adversary.

Eraserhead clutched his injured arm as the numbing faded and pain began to flare. He turned to look at Himiko, taking a second to really take in her appearance. "You look different than you did in the video. The only one missing seems to be the one called Overwatch, but you don't seem to look like them." Himiko said nothing, but she sheathed her knife and put the vial away. "What are you doing with that blood?" Again nothing. "If you're not going to talk to me, that's fine. It'll be over soon anyway."

Before he could move, Dark Shadow leapt from Fumikage and grabbed Eraserhead's arms, pinning them in place. Fumikage himself darted out of Eraserhead's line of vision, and with Dark Shadow holding him firmly in place, he couldn't turn to face him.

One by one, the remaining members of the group began sending attacks at the man's head. Izuku nailed his face with a spinning kick while Hitoshi and Kyouka punched his stomach. The three blows together rattled him, and his mind lost focus for a split second. Just long enough for the foot descending from the sky to knock him out of Fumikage's grip and to the floor. Looking up from the ground, Eraserhead saw another form. This one, he recognized. This was Overwatch. Then who is the new one? He thought to himself.

"Sorry I'm late. Wasn't expecting a pro hero to be here waiting for you guys else I would have been here from the beginning." Mei said, clipping off her grappling hook rope and inserting another charge of it. She grabbed hold of the rope she had just descended on and pulled. "No need to waste something I can reuse." The hook fell through the air and landed on Eraserhead's face.

Kyouka stifled a laugh at the misfortune. She turned to look at Izuku, who just shrugged, but Kyouka could envision the sly smirk that painted his face.

Dark Shadow once again pinned down Eraserhead. The cold concrete floor of this warehouse was grating on the man's face.

"So Eraserhead, it seems like you were right. It was going to be over quickly. Just probably not in the way that you had envisioned it." Izuku said, stepping forward and rolling his eye lights to ones, changing the color to red. Izuku cocked his head to the side and he crouched down in front of his opponent's face.

"You all… you're strong. Why become vigilantes? Why not heroes?" Eraserhead asked.

Izuku laughed slightly. "You don't think there was effort for that? It's because of us trying that we're here now."

"Because of quirk discrimination, we weren't able to be accepted." Kyouka said.

"So we waited and we trained until we were ready to be the change we wanted to see." Hitoshi added.

"We're gonna change the minds of all the bastards like you!" Izuku said, a slight hint of malice in his voice.

"We're going to show people that no matter the quirk, anyone can be a hero." Mei said.

"Revelry in the dark." Fumikage said from right behind Eraserhead's head.

"So that's your goal? Break the law to become fake heroes?" He asked.

"We've done things in our brief time as a group that heroes and police weren't able to do for months. We took down Stain. Where were your heroes then?" Izuku asked.

"There were heroes all around Hosu looking for him. Someone would have found him!"

"And ended up like the brother of that young boy we saved, Ingenium? Or worse, dead. How many more people would have died if not for us?" Izuku countered.

"I… I can see where you're coming from, but with the power that you six possess, there has to be some way for you to do this for good." Eraserhead admitted.

Izuku stood up and turned to look at Mei. "Overwatch, set up a message link with Eraserhead. He's bound to have his phone on him. And inform Prometheus." Mei nodded. Izuku turned back to look at Eraserhead. "We are deeply sorry for having taken your jobs. I'm sure the pay cut from having those done for you wasn't the best. But I'm sure that UA pays their teachers rather handsomely, so it probably wasn't the end of the world for you."

Mei dug through the man's pockets until she found his phone. After a few minutes of messing with it, Mei set the phone down on the ground a few feet away from the man. "All done, Snake Eyes!"

"Thank you. Now, Eraserhead, or should I call you Shouta Aizawa? You seem interested in us. Perhaps on a concerning level, but you've intrigued me at least. I'd like to continue this conversation we've been having, but not tonight. You'll see a new chat display. That's for us. Don't bother trying to trace it. Prometheus did well on their work. We look forward to working with you." Izuku turned around to leave, as did the rest of the group. "Mastermind."

"Yes sir?" Hitoshi responded.

"Take him out." Izuku ordered.

"Alright. Eraserhead, how are things?" Hitoshi turned back and asked the man.

"What-" was all that he was able to say before Hitoshi's quirk took effect.

"Good. Close your eyes." Hitoshi instructed, and Aizawa did just that. "We're good to go, sir."

"Then let's get out of here. I'm tired."

"Yes sir!" The five other members said in unison as they walked out of the building and towards the van.

"Mastermind, how far away can you be and have your quirk still be in effect?" Izuku asked once they were on the next block of the city.

"I'm not sure. I've never tested that before."

"Can you feel a connection to that guy from here?"

"Yeah, he's still under the effects of my quirk."

"Good, then let's get out of here. Hold onto it for as long as you can, and once we get back into the van, you can release it." Izuku then turned to look at Himiko. "Sorry that tonight didn't go as planned, Changeling. We'll get you some more action soon."

"No need to apologize, Snake Eyes! I got some blood! I'm more than happy. That guy was fast. I can't wait to turn into him!" Himiko said, her voice oozing excitement.

About twenty meters from the van, Hitoshi spoke. "I think I just hit my limit. The link is broken. Get in the van now!"

The group did as they were told, and less than a minute later, they were driving back to their warehouse.

"Shouta honey, you look exhausted." Emi said as her boyfriend walked through the door to their shared apartment.

"I am exhausted. I found them, Emi. Nezu was right. I think they're just kids. One of them had a quirk that trapped me in my mind as they escaped. That was a nightmare, but it wore off eventually." Shouta said as he sat down on the couch. His arm brushed against the somewhat coarse fabric, and he recoiled in pain slightly with a hiss escaping his mouth.

"Shouta, you're hurt? Did they do this to you?" Emi asked with concern.

"Yeah, they got a new member or something. This one was really handsy with a knife. Didn't even feel it go in my arm. But it hurts like a… like a… it hurts a lot." Shouta said, defeated.

Emi chuckled softly as she began to collect some medical supplies. "You never were one for similes and metaphors, were you?"

"Too illogical. It would be easier to just say what was meant instead of figurative language."

Emi laughed again as she began to clean his wound, earning another sharp hiss from her man. "It's another reason that I love you. It's really cute, yknow."

"I'm glad- Ow! I'm glad you think so."

"There, all cleaned out. Let me just wrap this bandage around you, and you should be good to go. Be sure to see Recovery Girl in the morning. Get some rest, hun."

"Yeah yeah…" Shouta stood up from the couch and moved to the bedroom. He set his phone down and changed out of his hero costume and into pajamas for the night. He was about to brush his teeth when his phone buzzed. He checked it and almost dropped the phone completely.

In the separate chat that the Overwatch figure made, there was a picture of the group surrounding Shouta with him on the ground. The picture itself was emblazoned with the group's logo in the bottom left corner.

Below that was a single text message; an echo of what was said before they left.

Snake Eyes: We look forward to working with you.

Author's Note: And what's this? A note at the end? Crazy! But this one is because of something that my friends have been trying to get me to do for a while. My friends at college see the work that I put into this, and they keep urging me to make a or a Ko-fi or something. So I decided to make a Ko-fi. Now, if you don't feel right supporting me based on this due to it not being my original world and characters and stuff, I COMPLETELY understand (and it's something that's kept me from doing this for a while). That being said, if you would like to support some of my other creative endeavors, I am an aspiring game developer, and I have made a ton of content for 5th edition dungeons and dragons. So if you want to donate, but don't feel too good about it being based off of fanfiction, maybe an actually completely new set of things might sit better with you? I'm not sure. You don't have to do this regardless, but the option is there for sure. I would definitely appreciate it if anyone decided to do it. My username on Ko-fi is Ripslash1, just like it is here. Thanks, everyone!
