Author's Note: So I managed to get this finished today! Wow! There are some things that I had been on the fence about whether or not to include them until today and things just kind of... happened. My mind went "Oh yeah, I'm on a roll now!" and I didn't wanna stop it because when that happens, it gets pissy and doesn't want to get on a roll for at least a week, if not more. Also, the debut of Shouto's vigilante name and costume! Exciting! Yay!

Also, if you want to get into a place with other lovers of MHA, and specifically IzuJirou stuff, come on and join this Discord server that I'm on:

"So he's supposed to get here today, yeah?" Mei asked, having now moved into Hitoshi's room with him.

"Oh, I do hope that I can meet your new friend." Inko said. She had been helping them with mundane things around the warehouse in the week since they had gotten back.

"Shouto? Yeah, he should be getting here soon." Izuku confirmed. As if on cue, there was a tentative knock on the standard door of the warehouse. "He's here. Masks on, everyone. Mom, if you'd hide for now, that would be great. Thank you." Izuku instructed. Inko nodded and quickly ducked into the hallway leading to the rooms.

"Remind me why we have our masks on if he's going to be living with us from now on?" Hitoshi asked.

"It's a symbolic thing. Just go with it." Izuku said, putting his own mask on. He opened the door once everyone had their masks on to find exactly who he was expecting: Shouto Todoroki.

"Umm… Hi." Shouto said. "I've gotta say, I wasn't expecting to be greeted by Snake Eyes wearing a t-shirt that says… t-shirt… on it…"

"Nevermind that, it's part of my loungewear. Hurry up and come in already." Izuku ushered him inside. Shouto followed quickly. As Izuku shut the door, he quickly took his mask off. He put his arm around Shouto's shoulders and led him forward. "You've been here once already, but you never really got a tour. We'll happily show you around. But before we do that, we have something that we want to do first."

"What is that?" Shouto asked.

"Have a seat." Izuku said. He motioned for everyone to stand alongside him. He started by taking off his mask. "My real name is Izuku Midoriya."

Shouto studied his face closely, as if he was thinking hard about something, but he said nothing. He only nodded.

"My name is Kyouka Jirou." Kyouka said, taking her mask off.

"Wait, you're part of them? And your name isn't Miyata?" Shouto seemed surprised.

"Oh, I forgot that you were teaching him guitar sometimes!" Mei said.

"Yeah, sorry about lying. Can't exactly go around broadcasting my involvement with the up and coming vigilante group." Kyouka said.

"I see… Well, it's nice to meet you again, Jirou." Shouto said.

"Likewise." Kyouka nodded. "But if you're gonna be a part of us, we're all on a first name basis. So you'd better get there too, Shouto."

"R-Right…" Shouto said and then looked to the next person in the line that had formed behind Izuku.

"I'm Mei Hatsume!" Mei said, her voice bubbly.

"Hitoshi Shinsou."

"Himiko Toga!"

"My name is Fumikage Tokoyami."

At Fumikage's face reveal, Shouto's contemplative face cleared up. "That's why you look familiar."

"Who?" Izuku asked.

"You and Toko-... Fumikage…" Shouto said, looking at Izuku. "I saw you a while back. I was walking through Musutafu, and I saw the two of you going into a house." Shouto explained.

"Ah. That must have been when you were down at Dagobah and you collapsed from exhaustion." Izuku looked at Fumikage. "That was my mom's house. Mom?"

At that point, Inko revealed herself to their newest member. "Hi there! My name is Inko Midoriya, but everyone here calls me Mama Inko. You must be Shouto. It's nice to meet you." Inko smiled a bright smile.

"It must be nice, having parents that are so supportive of you." Shouto said. "Mine only wants me for my bloodline…"

Izuku chuckled. "You'd be surprised. My dad… He's not exactly thrilled I'm doing this."

"Even though my father is a hero, he'll always be a villain in my eyes for how he has treated my family." Everyone could hear the determination in Shouto's voice. They could even feel the temperature dropping slightly.

"Well, I can at least relate a little bit." Izuku said. "I'm sorry that you've had to deal with what you've dealt with, though. I read the dossier you sent us. It's intense."

"You can relate? How?" Shouto asked, surprised.

"You remember the scary guy that All Might fought in Kamino? When we saved Ka-... Bakugo?" Izuku asked. Shouto simply nodded. "Yeah, that's apparently my dad."

"I see… So we both seek to bring our fathers to justice, then." Shouto nodded. "All the more reason to join you, I suppose."

"Wonderful!" Izuku clapped his hands together. "Welcome, officially, to Societas Requiem, Dragon."

"It's an honor being allowed to, Snake Eyes. Izuku." Shouto responded. Izuku quickly grabbed his hand and pulled Shouto up so that he was standing.

"Now, we can do one of two things. We can either give you the tour or we can show you your new costume. Your choice." Izuku explained. "The tour will be given by Kyouka, and the costume will be handled by Mei."

"Can we take a look at the costume first?" Shouto asked. "I'd like to see how my ideas transferred into reality."

"Of course! Follow me!" Mei said. She immediately walked over to her workshop section and opened up a box that was sitting on her desk. "Now, your design specifications were a little tricky, but that just made them more fun for me to make." She pulled out a coat and pants made out of a decently heavy material. It was essentially a firefighter's garb, but mainly black with stripes of red, white, blue, and neon green wrapping around the arms. There were sets of holes on the back of the jacket. Mei pulled out a collection of metal pipes out of the box next and fit them into the holes. Finally, she pulled out a mask that was stylized in the form of a dragon's maw. "You gave me the idea of what you wanted it to do, so I doubt that I have to explain it to you. Care to put it on?"

"Sure." Shouto nodded, strapping on his suit. Once everything was in place, he gave a gloved thumbs up to Mei.

"Can you see well in that?" Mei asked. When Shouto nodded, she smiled. "Looks like you can hear too. Now, go ahead and push the button on the bottom right of your mask. It's hidden with the scales, but you'll be able to feel out where it is." Shouto did as instructed. "Now talk."

"Like this?" Shouto asked, but the voice was deep and bestial in nature. It was intimidating for sure.

"Perfect! The voice changer works!" Mei exclaimed. "Hey, someone turn off the lights!"

"Allow me." Fumikage said, walking over to the light switch and flicking it off rather ceremonially. As soon as the lights went out, the eyes of Shouto's mask glowed a deep red.

"Whoah. Spooky." Himiko said.

"Now, do the thing you told me about!" Mei instructed. After a few seconds of hesitation, Shouto finally ignited himself. The temperature in the room increased drastically, but they didn't see any fire until it erupted from the sets of pipes, forming what were essentially the wings of a dragon. The backlight of Shouto's fire didn't stop the eyes from glowing their deep red.

"Holy shit." Hitoshi said.

"You can say that again." Izuku said.

"Holy shit." Hitoshi repeated.

"I wouldn't want to fight him in an alley." Himiko said quietly.

"He radiates power." Fumikage noted.

And then the fire went out. "You can turn the lights on now, Fumikage!" Mei called, and the lights soon flicked back to lighting the room. "Now Shouto, anything that you wanna say about it? Any notes? Things I should fix?"

"It feels fine to me." Shouto said. "You do really well with making this stuff."

"Thanks! I love making babies!" Mei said, causing Shouto to go into a coughing fit.

"I'm sorry, what?" He asked.

"She calls her inventions her babies." Hitoshi said. "You're not the first person to be taken off guard with that, and you won't be the last."

"Ah… I see." Shouto said. Nothing else was said by him after that.

"Anyway." Izuku started, interrupting the awkward silence. "Moving onto the tour now! Kyouka, if you would."

Kyouka took control of the situation and led Shouto on a tour of the facilities, making sure to show him his room, which used to be Mei's, but no longer was as she slept in the same bed as Hitoshi now. That caused Shouto to raise his eyebrow along with the fact that Kyouka and Izuku slept together as well. The bathroom was shown to him, and then they went back to the kitchen. It wasn't a long tour, but it showed what needed to be shown.

Once the tour had finished, Shouto plopped himself down onto the couch. "So what do we do now?"

"You can kinda just chill for a bit. We're looking for intel. We'll be doing a patrol in the next few days. We'll determine where we're going soon." Izuku said. "Mei, there's gonna be some downtime. If you wanna work on some more quirk extraction, go for it. Or if you wanna make more support equipment, you can do that too."

"Quirk… Extraction?" Shouto asked.

"Yeah, Himiko's quirk lets her turn into people whose blood she drinks, and then she can use their quirks too. I reverse engineered how her quirk breaks down other people's quirk factors through their blood. And once I did that, I was able to put peoples' quirks into my babies! Oh, and I can make a syringe or something with their quirk too." Mei said casually.

"You guys are not normal." Shouto said after a few seconds of stunned silence.

"Thank you!" Mei said with a big smile before going back to her machines.

Shouto sighed. This group was a handful for sure, but no less than his class was. It wasn't like this was going to be awful. He could even find himself growing excited, a feeling he hadn't felt in a long time. "I wonder what our mission will be for this work study?" Shouto thought to himself.

"Sir, she got out again." A man said.

"And who was on watch duty for her?" The man addressed as 'sir' asked. The red and gold plague doctor mask on his face hiding the sneer that fell upon his face.

"Um… I-I was, but-" Before he could finish, his body exploded across the wall as the second man touched him with an exposed hand.

"Filth…" He said.

"Overhaul, sir." Another man said in the hallway. "We've found her. She didn't get too far from the compound."

"Good. Strap her in. We'll be doing more experiments today. And get someone to clean him up." Overhaul spoke. The other man nodded quickly and retreated back towards the direction he came from. Overhaul sighed to himself. Of course she was making this difficult. Oh well, a little negative reinforcement would go a long way. Pushing his hair back, Overhaul walked towards the child's room. She was there, strapped into a chair. As soon as Overhaul stepped into the room, her eyes went wide, and she began to cry.

"N-No… Please…" She begged. "Please don't…"

"Sorry, Eri, but you disobeyed me. That comes with consequences, and you should know that." Overhaul took his glove off and reached towards her.

Eri only whimpered.

All Might stepped into the prison block and let out a sigh.

'He is in the third cell to your right. Approach with caution, and do not cause any problems for him or for us.' A voice told him over an earpiece.

All Might followed the instructions and entered the room. He sat down in the single chair in the room that was opposite the glass screen. "All For One…" He said.

"All Might. How good it is to see you again. Under better circumstances, that is." Hisashi said. When All Might didn't respond, he continued. "The second semester is starting soon, right?" He asked. "Or has it already started? I thought you were going to devote yourself to teaching. You're here for something. What do you want from me?"

All Might sneered. "I want to make things clear. To come to an understanding."

"Oh?" Hisashi said. After a few seconds of silence again, Hisashi continued speaking. "This place is stifling, you know. Trapped within my cell… If I move to scratch my back against the chair, all of the gun muzzles instantly point at me. And my brain waves are monitored, too. One thought about activating my quirk, and I'll be shot." He explained. "It's such a strange place, this building. I was brought here when the building was on the ground. I could sense that I was far below the surface of the ground, and yet… I can feel the constant mechanical whirring. I can feel the change in the atmospheric pressure. It's strange that a place called 'Tartarus' after the Greek titan of the abyss finds its home flying the skies above Japan. Irony, or perhaps a form of deception and trickery?" Hisashi laughed. "Who knows?"

"You're awfully talkative today." All Might interrupted.

"Ah, why would I not be? It's the first real conversation I've had in such a long time." Hisashi said. "And when you leave, it will be lonely again until I'm freed."

"No." All Might said fiercely. "You cannot get out."

Hisashi simply chuckled. "I'll let you keep thinking that, All Might. Anyway, enough about me. What do you want?"

"Shigaraki Tomura. Where is he right now?" All Might asked.

"I have no idea." Hisahi grinned. "He's already left the nest as a successor. Where is yours, I wonder? I could find Tomura with one of my quirks for you right now, though. But that would mean that the nice workers here would have to let me use it without shooting me."

"No, that will not happen." All Might refused.

"Well, there's no harm in trying, right?" Hisashi chuckled again.

"There is. Is this a joke to you?" All Might asked.

"This world is full of cruel ironies. I find myself laughing at them quite frequently. And then they aren't so cruel anymore."

All Might let out a deep breath of air. "What are you trying to achieve? What did you want to do? Preserving that body of yours beyond human reason to live for such a long time, devoting your time to exploiting and controlling people, and even more unspeakable acts, what did you wish to accomplish?"

"You see, that's a rather tough question. Which answer do you want, the old or the new?"

"New?" All Might's eyebrow raised.

Hisashi chuckled once more. "Yes, new. Before recently, my goal was rather simple. You and I, we're the same, you know? While you longed to be a hero of justice, I worked towards being an evil devil king. I had my ideal and the power to give that ideal form. If I could have lived forever in my ideal, I would not have stopped at anything to make that happen. But then you showed up and my infinite ideal became finite. And yet, I still pressed onwards, hoping to find a successor, and that I did. Someone to continue my ideal."

"Tomura Shigaraki." All Might said.

"The very same. And yet, things changed."

"They changed? How?" All Might asked, his tone clearly irritated.

"You see, recently, right before we fought for the second time and I was sent here, I had a rather fateful encounter. The leader of the newest band of vigilantes that has been taking Japan by storm. Snake Eyes of Societas Requiem. And in that meeting, I found out something incredibly interesting." Hisashi explained. "First of all, as my descendent, he is equipped to become a successor of mine biologically more so than Tomura is. And he would probably make a better one, too."

"Snake Eyes is your son?" All Might stood up quickly.

'All Might, please step away from the glass.' The voice in his earpiece said. All Might sat back down in his chair, begrudgingly.

"Not only that, but you yourself have led to his position." Hisashi taunted.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Tell me if this rings a bell, All Might… 'I tried to fight back, but my quirk couldn't do anything against the villain. Could I be a hero even with a quirk that couldn't do anything against things like that? Could I still be a Hero like you?'"

All Might's eyes went wide, and he felt the color drain from his face. "You don't mean…"

"That's right. You could have saved that child. Made him into a hero like you, perhaps even your own successor. Instead, you dashed his dreams solely because his quirk wasn't as strong as some others. And look at him now. His quirk has grown much stronger than it was before." Hisashi said.

"No…"

"Yes!" Hisashi continued. "Quirk evolution is a strange thing, All Might. When I first implanted that quirk in him, I knew it had potential. Luck as a quirk in its base form is nothing special. He could influence the luck of himself and others. But now, I could sense something different in him. In his quirk. He's gotten stronger and so has his quirk. The ability to control the likelihood of things to happen. A strange, yet incredibly potent power that relies on how fast one can think and their creativity to pull it off. So as a show of my good will towards him, I gave him another quirk to suit his needs."

"Why would you do this?" All Might asked, growing visibly angry.

"It's simple, really. I wish to help my son achieve his goal to destroy the hero society from the grassroots. Tomura and the League are a fine backup plan, but my focus has shifted, you see. No son of mine will be without power. It's exactly why I got rid of the ridiculous quirk he had when he was born, dormant as it was. Pyrokinesis? Bah. Everyone has some kind of fire-based quirk nowadays. He needed something potent! Powerful! Domineering! A quirk fitting the legacy of All For One." Hisashi laughed heartily, and once the laughter died down, he continued. "And you will know that your biggest failure is not that you didn't stop me all those years ago. The fact that you crushed a child's dream and unknowingly sent him down the path of villainy – the path of your and of society's destruction – THAT is what will be remembered as your greatest failure. All Might's Folly: Societas Requiem."

All Might stood up again. "I can still save him."

Hisashi laughed again. "Good luck with that. My Memory Master quirk allowed me to… tamper with his memories just slightly. What was once a jarring memory that wounded him and his pride is now a seething reminder of your failure of a hero. Of your hypocrisy. Of your eventual downfall." He taunted.

"Still, it's not too late." All Might clenched his fist tightly. "My time here is done." He turned and began to walk away as Hisashi spoke once more.

"You had better hurry, little hero. I can sense the power of One For All dying within you. You've given the power to someone else, I can tell. I hope your successor can match my own."

All Might did not respond. He simply left the cell and made his way by to the airship dock. He could feel the wind on his face. "Is this what Nana felt when she soared through the skies?" He sighed. "I have failed you twice, master. Once through your flesh and blood… The other, through your ideals…"

"Welcome back, All Might, sir!" One of the dock workers said, snapping All Might out of his thoughts.

"O-Oh, uh, thank you." He responded, the previous experience deflating his charisma slightly. As he got onto the airship that would fly him down to mainland Japan, he took his phone out and dialed a phone number. After three rings, they picked up.

"Hello, All Might. How did your conversation with All For One go?" Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi answered.

"Things got more complicated." All Might said. "Can I ask a favor of you?"

"Of course."

"I need you to look into someone for me. A young boy, probably fourteen or fifteen, curly green hair, and diamond patterned freckles." All Might explained, the memory of that day now ingrained in his mind after it was brought up by his mortal enemy.

"Yeah, I can try. What's this about?" He asked.

"Naomasa… I messed up…"
