It was a warm sunny day near the G-men headquarters. A group of people devoted to protecting the Pokémon world. Inside things were just starting to get lively as the morning came. The room of two 14-year-old teens were just starting to awaken when they heard the ringtone of a wristwatch.

"Ugh" Auria said as she groaned. She answered the call while still in her pajamas. "Hello?" she mumbled.

"Good morning, Captain" a voice came from the small leather wristwatch.

"What do you need Lance?" she responded while yawning in the process.

"I have a mission for you and Ash. Can two meet me in my office?" the voice said.

"We will be there as soon as I wake Ash up" Auria said while running her hand through her long wavy silvery blue hair. She hung up and walked towards her kyodai who was sleeping in the bed on the other side of the room.

"Ash get up Lance has a mission for us" she said as she shook him vigorously wondering how he didn't wake up to the ringtone that she set to full volume just for that reason.

"Ugh I'm awake" Ash said as he stretched. "Good now we need to go get into our uniforms we can't be late" Auria said as she was getting her uniform out of her side of the small chest of drawers.

The uniform consisted of charcoal grey fitted shirt and shorts, a blue breastplate that reached just above her stomach with blue shoulder and knee pads, a pair of black combat boots, and a black and blue cloak. While the men's uniforms were similar with the only things being different were that the men wore pants and had a chest plate. They were usually black and red, but the two kyodai were special. They were two of the three aura guardians left on the planet, the third one being their mentor.

Once Auria finished putting her uniform on, she began to fix her hair. She put the silver-blue hair into a braided bun. She looked in the mirror to see her kyodai coming in to attempt to fix his unruly raven hair that stuck out everywhere. Ash had tried everything to get it to lay down, but nothing has worked so far. Ash's raven hair had a streak of silver-blue hair in the front. This was from their aura. Since their aura had awaken, their hair had started to turn a silvery blue. Auria's once pitch-black hair had turned into the color it was now in under a month while Ash's had just started turning two days ago. He finally gave up trying to fix his unruly hair and walked out of the bathroom to awaken his Pokémon. Ash's Pikachu, Riolu, and Eevee were all snuggled together on the edge of Ash's bed. Auria's Riolu, Kirlia, and her shiny Vulpix were already awake and ready to go. Ash chuckled at the sight of his three partners and shook softly awake. Pikachu shot a thunderbolt at Ash, but he was ready for it with a shield of aura. Pikachu opened his eyes and saw who he supposedly shocked and yawned.

"Morning" Pikachu grumbled. Being the only Pikachu that could use telepathy due to a certain incident that no one wanted to talk about. He stretched and jumped onto Ash's shoulder. The two had been together since birth. Being Ash's ace and best friend, he was always with Ash wherever he went. They were the dynamic duo of the G-men. No one hurt one of them without the other hurting who ever hurt them. Everyone at the headquarters knew this and knew what damage the two could cause.

Auria was the closest human friend that Ash had. They had met in a small alleyway in Vermillion. When they were at their lowest. Now they were the unstoppable captains. They had gone through everything together. Since neither one had family, they became each other's family. The G-Men were also their family. Though none could get close to the bond the two shared. They had gone through hell and back. They had dealt with the most dangerous criminal team out there: Team Rocket while almost dying in the process. They had become captains for their bravery and heroic actions.

"I wonder what the commander has in store for us today." Ash wondered while they were walking down the hallway to Lance's office.

"The last time we were in there we were being promoted to the rank of Captain." Auria said while thinking back to the memory.

"We were still recovering from the mission on Mt. Silver. Not the most pleasant mission that we've been on." Ash said, shaking his head. He still had nightmares from that mission.

"Yeah, the emotional state we were in was bad. I still have nightmares from that mission." Auria shuddered. She was an emotional wreck from that mission. The battle against Team Rocket was brutal. The fact that she was held captive was even worse. They wanted to experiment on her aura in the worst way possible, using an aura evaporating chain. She hated to admit, but she could sometimes still feel the pain of the experiments that they did even though she knew that her kyodai had blown up the lab. It was not the best ending of a mission, but they had survived barely. Auria had a broken wrist and a mild concussion. That also being with the fact that she had nearly depleted all her aura. Ash ended up with a dislocated shoulder, which has been put back into place in a fight, and a mild concussion. He had the most depleted aura since he viciously ripped the fragment of chain off Auria's back. He still had scars just from holding the fragment that danced around his hands and arms. He didn't care though. He just wanted to save his friend.

Ash slowly opened the door to the office where his commander and mentor stood. Lance sat at his desk while Riley was standing with two cups of steaming hot coffee.

"You're a life saver Riley" Auria said while taking one of the cups of coffee and blowing on it to cool it down before taking a sip.

"What did you want to talk to us about?" Ash said after already downing his cup of coffee.

"We have evidence that Team Rocket have move their base to Kanto." Lance said sipping his coffee.

"We would like you two to pose as trainers taking part in the league and the battle chateaus and try to figure out what rocket is up to while you are competing. We have you set up to go to Pallet Town to see Professor Oak and get your pokedex." Riley said while taking a seat in a chair close by.

"So, you're saying that you want us to pose as trainers taking part in the league and battle chateaus while looking out for rocket grunts? I'm in, what about you Ash?" Auria said setting her 2nd cup of coffee down.

"Even if I have to go back to Pallet Town, I'm in. Do we have to go under an alias?" Ash said. He didn't really want to go back to that place. It brought back many bad memories. It was his original hometown. Before his mother was murdered by Team Rocket at least. He left that town and promised to take down Team Rocket even if it was the last thing he did. He wanted to see Professor Oak and Gary though. He missed them. He and Gary were like brothers. Professor Oak was like the grandfather that he never had growing up, but he couldn't think about that right now.

"It would be preferred if you did until we give you the ok. Anyone you deem fit to know who you actually are is ok. Keep it to a minimum of 5 each." Lance said, answering Ash's question.

"Which ones should we use Ash?" Auria said standing up now walking around.

"How about we make it to where we are siblings? That way it looks less suspicious." Ash said also standing up to do some thinking. Then it hit him. "What if we use my father's last name?"

"You mean that last name?" Auria said surprised that he would want to use that name. Lance and Riley were trying to figure out what they meant.

"Would you two like to fill me in on what is going on?" Lance said confused.

"Well, I found out who my father before I came here. Sadly, I haven't met him yet, but I will never be able to." Ash said looking down at the ground.

"Why not? Surely we could find him." Riley said still very confused.

"He's dead." Ash said looking the two leaders straight in the eyes. His voice was full of sadness. He never met him, but he had heard stories about him through his mother. According to his mother he was the miniature version of him. His personality was even the same.

"Oh…I never knew." Lance said knowing that look in Ash's eyes. He had only seen them like that once when Ash's mother died. The mess they had to handle known as Ash's aura was dangerous. Ash's aura is dangerous when he is angry. Everyone at the headquarters felt his wrath when that happened.

"What was his name?" Riley asked curiously. He really wanted to know since Ash had always told him everything since he was his mentor. It was strange for Ash to not tell him about this.

"For the record, this a level 10 classified information." Auria said.

"I thought that the level of classification only went up to 8. Is it that serious?" Lance said. The most classified information was kept between the four of them was about the mission. No one talked about that since that brought back bad memories.

"This could change my identity. I'm honestly thinking about changing my last name, but that could put me in more danger. My father's name is Aaron Tajiri." Ash said, finally being able to get this off of his chest.

"Aaron Tajiri…. where have I heard that name before?" Lance said, while Riley stood in utter shock.

"As in Sir Aaron Tajiri?!" Riley finally managed to get out.

"Yes, as in Sir Aaron" Ash said bluntly. He had finally got it off his chest.

"How?" Lance said shocked and surprised. Sir Aaron had been dead for 500 years.

"That I am unsure about. It was the last thing my mother told me before she died. Right afterwards I went to Rota to see if this was true and sure enough, I have the same aura as Sir Aaron. The only way this can happen if I am the child of Sir Aaron, or if I physically stole his aura, which could never happen due to the fact that he had spells placed to make sure his aura could never be stolen. This is why he never lost a battle when his opponents tried to take his aura. They just wasted their aura trying." Ash explained. He had researched everything during his time studying under Riley.

"Dang, that was a lengthy explanation." Pikachu said through telepathy.

"Wow, who are you and what have you done to my best friend?" Auria joked.

"Well, that's new." Lance said calmly.

"Hey Auria, what do you think about Red and Blue Tajiri?" Ash asked his korai. They had used Red and Blue before, but he knew that they would have to have a last name to enter the leagues.

"I'm down. Can we bring Morgan along for this trip? She would be incredibly useful." Auria replied. Morgan was the only other female in the G-men. She is the undercover specialist for the Kantai and was also one of the best performers they had.

"Yes, she could give us a person for look out in the contests and showcases that they are adding to Kanto. Also, you two need to dye your hair black until Ash's hair fully turns. It should be done turning in a week." Riley said, "Also it would be a great help if I had to act like your brother if I dropped you two something off.".

"Will do, anything else we need to know or do?" Ash asked.

"Try not to blow your cover. You can only tell five people that you know you trust. Also tell Sam that he is in charge until you two return." Lance responded.

"Okay, permission to go get ready for this mission?" Auria asked.

"Permission granted." Riley and Lance responded simultaneously.

The two left the office and headed to their room to dye their hair. Once they had finished dying their hair, they went to go get some travel clothing.

"Should we just wear our Mt. Silver clothing?" Auria said pulling some clothes off a hanger.

"I mean like no one would recognize us without our cloaks and the different colored hair." Ash said setting some clothes on his bed.

"I missed these clothes anyways. They were always my favorite." Auria said while walking into the bathroom.

Ash's outfit consisted of a red and white short sleeved jacket unzipped with a black undershirt underneath, jeans, red and white high tops, black fingerless gloves, and a red and white hat that covered his used to be auburn eyes. Auria's outfit was made up of a black flannel with a blue bodysuit (that had shorts) underneath, black denim shorts, black and blue striped knee-high socks, black and blue fingerless gloves, and black high tops.

Once they finished putting their traveling outfits on, they grabbed a few miscellaneous items and walked to the medical bay. They saw a girl with long brown curly hair and green eyes standing over a computer. Auria ran over to her quickly.

"Hey Morgan, I have a question for you!" Auria said while hugging her.

"As long as it is not pranking Ash, I'm in." Morgan replied breaking apart the hug.

"You want to go on a mission with us? You can do contests and showcases like you've always wanted to." Auria said then explaining what they were doing.

"I've always wanted to go on one of your missions! Give me a minute to go get my stuff and I'll meet you downstairs." Morgan said while running down out of the room.

"Well might as well go tell Sam that he is in charge while we are gone." Ash said. Auria just shrugged and they walked out of the room. 30 minutes and one ping-pong tournament later, the kyodai were standing by the entrance with their backpacks. Then they see Morgan running towards.

"Hey, sorry if I took so long." Morgan said, now wearing a green tank top with a circular hole cut out at the top with a black tank top underneath, a black flannel covering it, black skinny jeans, white high tops, black and green fingerless gloves, and a white hat with a green stripe. She also dyed her hair a light brown.

"Nice clothes, have you came up with an alias yet?" Auria said.

"If you two are going as Red and Blue Tajiri, then I'm going to be your cousin Green."

"It makes sense. So, you girls ready to head to Pallet Town?" Ash said. Auria released her Kirlia, and they teleported to Pallet Town.

After Kirlia teleported them to outside of Professor Oak's lab, they walked inside in which they see a man with white hair standing in front of a computer screen, and a boy who looks around the same age as the three standing beside him chatting. This was Professor and Gary Oak.

"Hello, how may I help you" the professor asked while turning around.

"We are the G-men sent here to get pokedexes." Ash said speaking for all of them.

"If it's the G-men then why are those two girls here?" Gary asked curiously.

"One is my twin sister, and the other is my cousin." Ash said again. It was true, they were born on the same day.

"Enough questions Gary. Now what are your names so I can put them in your pokedexes?" Professor Oak said. Ash looked at Auria who nodded.

"My name is Ash Ketchum, but I go as Red Tajiri now." Ash said removing his cap.
