Hello everyone! I am sorry that I haven't posted. I've had major events come up as well as writer's block. I am trying to get me a schedule set up for posting, but I haven't gotten there yet. I want to thank the people who have posted reviews and have supported this series. I have a pairing for Auria, but I need one for Ash. If you want to vote between my three choices, please check the poll on my profile. If there is a tie, then I will do a revote since I don't like Ash to have harems.

Altoshipping (Ash x Latias)

Amourshipping (Ash x Serena)

Aureliashipping (Ash x Lillie)

With that all aside, I hope you enjoy this chapter!

The next morning, Ash, Auria, and Morgan woke up early and got dressed into their travel outfits (The ones they wore the day before). They finalized their packing and walked into Lance's office. Inside were Lance, Riley, Delia, and Professor Oak standing there with coffee and donuts in hand. Three graciously took the coffee and donuts and downed it fast.

"We have arranged for you three to start in Pallet Town with other trainers your age who are receiving their starter today. We figured that it'll look less suspicious that way." Riley said as they downed their coffee.

"I thought that you get your starter when you turn 10?" Auria said confused.

"A few months after Ash left, they raised the minimum age to be a pokemon trainer to 14 years." Professor Oak explained. They were on Mt. Silver and hadn't heard this. The 3 nodded and finished their donut. Ash grabbed his bag and stood up.

"I am ready if you all are." Ash said. They nodded and stood up with their bags in hand. Riley called out Gallade and teleported Ash, Auria, Morgan, and Professor Oak to the laboratory in Pallet Town.

At the lab in Pallet Town, the four teleported into the backroom of the lab. The three teens walked into the main room where three other teens their age were waiting for the professor. The first boy had auburn hair and black eyes. The girl next to him had light brown hair and blue eyes. The last boy had dirty blonde hair and green eyes. Their names were Ritchie, Julie, and Jack.

The Kyodai and Morgan sat down in three nearby chairs. Soon after they got settled, Professor Oak came in with three pokeballs. The six trainers walked over to where the Professor was currently standing as he prepared the three pokeballs.

"Welcome, I assume you know which pokemon you want?" Professor Oak said with a smile on his face.

"Professor, if there are six of us then why do you only have 3 pokeballs?" Julie asked.

"You see, we've already been given our starters four years ago. Unfortunately for you, they raised the minimum trainer age a few months before you hit the age of ten. We only came to receive a new pokedex." Auria said speaking for her two friends as they gave a silent nod.

"That makes sense." Ritchie said.

"Pfft, I bet my new pokemon and I can beat you any day. Besides, you look weak any way." Jack said. Auria looked at Ash and Morgan then at Jack.

"You don't know just how wrong you are, but I have no time to show you since we only came here for a pokedex." Auria said as she turned to face Professor Oak again.

"I have programmed these pokedexes each with your ID inside. I have raised your carry limit to 9 as well. I trust that you will not abuse this." Professor Oak said.

"No fair! Why do they get to carry nine pokemon while we only get to carry six?" Julie whined.

"They have service pokemon that help them with their anxiety. This is the reason in which they keep one pokemon out each. I have given them the chance to collect their own team without using their service pokemon even though they can fight." Professor Oak lied. Julie nodded but gave the three a glare in which they responded with their own.

The three received their pokedexes and pokeballs and stepped out of the way so that the new trainers could get their pokemon and supplies. Ritchie chose Charmander, Jack chose Bulbasaur, and Julie chose Squirtle. They took their pokeballs and pokedexes and walked out the door. Outside stood a large group of people wishing luck to the new trainers. This caused Ash and Auria to start having a panic attack, so they ask Kirlia to teleport them to the outskirts of Pallet Town.

As they walked to Viridian City, they talked about what their plans and routine were going to be like. Of course, it did depend on which pokemon they catch.

It was about midday when they were walking through a part of the forest. Silver was walking when he tripped over a small rock. The rock was thrown into the air as Silver fell towards the ground. Unfortunately, there was a Spearow nearby and was struck by the flying rock. Angry, the Spearow flew away and came back with the rest of it's flock. Ash, Auria, and Morgan paled.

"Um, do you think this would be the appropriate time to run?" Auria asked, her voice an octave higher than normal.

"Yep, I'm pretty sure this would be the time to run." Morgan said, with her face looked like she'd seen a ghost. No words were spoken as they ran away from the blood lusting Spearows. Silver and Gold ran as they were pecked by the Spearows. Eventually, Ash and Auria picked them up and started carrying them as they were also pecked. Morgan returned all of her pokemon, but Pikachu, Kirlia, Silver, and Gold refused to go in their pokeballs. Morgan ending up having to hold Kirlia as Auria's hands were full. They kept running until they stopped at the end of a cliff. The three looked down as they saw the rushing water of a river below.

"Should we take the risk and jump or use aura and protect ourselves from the angry pack of birds behind us?" Auria asked Ash.

"Try to defend ourselves and if that doesn't work then jump?" Ash replied.

"That sounds like the best idea right now. Morgan, can you watch the pokemon?" Auria said as she set Gold down on the ground behind her.

"I will protect them with my life." Morgan said as Ash sat Pikachu and Silver beside Gold. The Kyodai then stood in front of everyone and braced themselves as the Spearows got closer. They stuck their hands out in front of them and pulsed their auras to their fingertips.

To everyone's surprise Ash was shooting out fire in his left hand and electricity in his right. Auria was also shooting out fire in her left hand and a stream of ice in her right. The attacks stopped as the Spearow fell one by one. Morgan and the Kyodai stood there in shock. They turned to Morgan and the Pokemon. Morgan gasped and rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn't dreaming.

"U-um, w-what happened t-to y-your eyes?" Morgan stuttered out as she kept staring.

"What do you mean what happened to our eyes?" the two said at the same time. Morgan opened her bag and pulled out a small hand mirror, and they were shocked at what they saw. Ash's left eye was a dark red while his right was yellow. While Auria's left eye was a reddish grey while her right was a light blue. The two looked at each other in shock.

"I think we might need to call Riley and ask about some contacts." Ash said as he looked at Auria.

"Yeah, and about the basically pokemon moves we just used. I mean like if you think about it, we both just used Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, and Ice Beam respectively." Auria said deep in thought.

"If you think about it like that, yeah that makes sense." Morgan said. Suddenly, there was a bright light from behind them. They turned to look at the cliff. A rainbow appeared above them as a majestic rainbow bird flew above them. Morgan managed to get a picture as Ash and Auria stood still.

"I see you have unlocked the gifts Arceus gave the two of you. Use them wisely as they will be useful later in life. The council has our eyes on you two. Though for now, we will meet again." The telepathic voice rang inside their heads as they looked at the rainbow bird. Two rainbow feathers fell from the sky as one went to Ash and the other to Auria. They looked at each other and grinned. They put the feather close to their hearts as it glowed brighter as they changed their eyes to an aura blue.

As soon as the bird flew away, they heard a loud shriek from behind them. They turned to see a massive Fearow. They looked at each other, then the river below. They jumped, hoping that the river softened the impact. The last thing they saw before they fell into an unconscious state was the Fearow flying away.

The three and their pokemon woke up to see a girl with red hair and cerulean blue eyes standing above them. She looked relieved.

"Hello, are you three, ok? I found you all near the river passed out, so I thought I would bring you all back to where I was camping. I'm Misty." the girl said as she handed them some water. The Kyodai looked at Morgan for her to talk.

"We are thankful for you taking care of us, but we need to head to the pokemon center." She said as the three grabbed their bags and pokemon in their hands.

"I tried to heal them as best as I could, but I'm used to water types and were confused on what kind of pokemon they were. If you all don't mind, could I join you to the pokemon center?" Misty said as she packed her stuff.

"Sure, we don't mind. We just need to make sure that our pokemon are ok. They took some damage during that Spearow attack." Morgan said as her friends nodded silently. The four started their walk towards the pokemon center with Pikachu on Ash's shoulder as he carried Silver in his arms. Auria held Gold and Morgan held Kirlia for Auria since her hands were full. They made it to the outskirts of Viridian City before Officer Jenny stopped them on her motorbike.

"What are you four doing with those pokemon?" Officer Jenny asked as she got off her motorbike.

"Our pokemon were injured by a Spearow attack. We need to get them to the center." Morgan said as she adjusted her grip on Kirlia.

"Do you all have any identification on you?" Officer Jenny said trying to make this as quick as possible. Misty pulled out a tear shaped pin from her pocket, and the trio pulled out their pokedexes and showed her their G-Men cards with their ranks on the screen. Officer Jenny was shocked to see G-Men agents so young, yet they were high ranking members as well.

"Right, sorry for suspecting you were stealing those pokemon. Team Rocket has been spotted around here recently. I trust you know what to do?" Officer Jenny said as she got back on her motorbike. The four nodded as she drove away. The four continued their journey to the pokemon center.

Five minutes later, they arrived at the large white building with a red roof. They ran in and went straight to the counter. Behind the counter was Nurse Joy in her normal light pink dress and white apron.

"Nurse Joy! Our pokemon were injured during a Spearow attack. Could you please heal them?" Morgan said.

"Oh my! Chansey, I need a large stretcher for four medium sized pokemon." Nurse Joy said as Chansey walked around the corner with a large stretcher on wheels. The trainers put the pokemon and their pokeballs on the stretcher and tray as Ash explained the Riolus' disability. They watched as Nurse Joy and Chansey walked into the back room to take care of the four pokemon.

"Now then, you think we should call Riley?" Auria asked her 'brother'.

"That would probably be best. There is a phone close to the back wall." Ash said as he pointed to the video phone. Misty walked up to them before they went to call their mentor and commander.

"I'm glad we made it here in time, but I don't know your names." Misty said as the group turned to face her.

"Sorry about that. I'm Red, and to my left is my twin sister Blue and our cousin Green is to my right." Ash said as the two girls waved behind him. The three went to call Riley as Misty stayed behind on one of the couches. They found an empty phone booth and dialed the HQ's main phone located in Riley's office as he took most of the calls. The phone rang for a few seconds before they saw Riley's face appear on the screen.

"G-Men HQ, this is Riley. How may I….Oh its just you three. How have you been so far?" Riley said as a grin appeared on his face.

"Other than a rogue Spearow attack, good. Though we will need two pairs of contacts." Auria said as she started fidgeting with her feather.

"Any particular reason?" Riley said with one eyebrow raised. Ash and Auria looked at him and changed their eyes back to mismatched colors. Needless to say, Riley was shocked at their eyes.

"What happened?" was all that Riley could get out. He had seen a lot of things over the years, but this was a first.

"We went to put up an aura barrier and we ended up using the equivalent of Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, and Ice Beam respectively. Overall, it changed our eye color. The pokemon are getting healed up from the attack, and we decided to call." Auria explained. Riley processed what he just heard and shouted something to Alex who was walking past the office.

"I just asked Alex to grab to pairs of contacts. Anyways, did your hair finish turning Ash?" Riley asked. Ash shrugged his shoulders.

"I haven't checked, but I have a feeling it has. I think that we should keep the hair dye on though, so we don't stand out as much." Ash said. Riley nodded. Alex showed up by Riley with a smile on his face and two sets of contacts in his hands as he handed them to Riley.

"I agree. Thank you, Alex. Anyways, I'll send these over when I get off the call. Try to stay safe though. I'll see what I can look up to see about these elemental powers of yours. Only show your weapons if it's an emergency." Riley said as the three nodded.

They ended the call as Nurse Joy called them over to pick up their partners. They walked to the counter and embraced their pokemon as Nurse Joy handed them their pokeballs back. The clipped them to their belts and were about to walk to the exit, but as they turned around, there was a large explosion as smoke bellowed into the center. They heard three voices come out of the smoke. A woman with pink hair and blue eyes, a man with blue hair and green eyes, and a cream-colored cat with a coin on its' head walked out of the smoke.

"Prepare for trouble!" the woman said.

"And make it double!" the man said.

"To protect the world from devastation!" the woman said.

"To unite all evil within our nation!" the man said.

"To denounce the evils of truth and love!" the woman said.

"To extend our reach to the stars above!" the man said.

"Jessie!" the woman now known as Jessie said.

"James!" the man said, now known as James.

"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light" Jessie said.

"Surrender or prepare to fight!" James said.

"Meowth that's right!" the cat, now known as Meowth said.

"Now then, hand over all the rare pokemon. Chop-chop!" Jessie said as she walked towards Nurse Joy.

"They are no rare pokemon here! Only sick and injured pokemon!" Nurse said as she backed away from Jessie.

"Surely there are some sick or injured rare pokemon here." James said.

"Hey you, kids! Over your pokemon! Meowth said as he walked to the three G-Men members.

"Over my dead body. Nurse Joy call Officer Jenny! We can hold them off." Morgan said. As she pulled out Frosmoth's pokeball, but Ash looked at her. She put her pokeball on her belt. Ash nodded to Pikachu as he left off his shoulder and onto the floor. Auria set down Kirlia on the ground as she got into a battle-ready position. Misty walked over and put her hand on her pokeball before Morgan a hand in front of her to stop her. Misty looked at her with a look of confusion, but Morgan didn't move as she looked at her two friends.

"You kids really want to fight? Ekans go!" Jessie said as she released a purple snake that hissed at the teens.

"Koffing!" James said as he released his pokemon.

'You want the snake or the gas bag?' Ash asked through aura.

'I'll take the snake if you get the gas bag. Kirlia Confusion into Psybeam' Auria responded through her aura. Kirlia nodded.

'Ok Pikachu, Quick Attack then Thunderbolt close range' Ash said to Pikachu through their aura bond. Both pokemon took off with the only thing left was a blur. A minute later, Ekans and Koffing were on top of their trainers. Pikachu let loose a final Thunderbolt that lit up Koffing's gas. This caused a firework effect throughout the whole center. Ash and Auria saw what was going to happen and threw up an invisible aura barrier around them, Nurse Joy and the pokemon in the back. Team Rocket blasted off through the roof and out of sight. The two dropped the shield as their pokemon returned to their shoulders with silent praise. Nurse Joy thanked them for protecting the center. Officer Jenny arrived around the time and gave the two a salute for saving the center. As Officer Jenny left, they asked for a room to stay the night. She gave two rooms. One for Ash and Auria, and the other for Morgan and Misty. The three had the same thought go through their minds as they closed their eyes.

It had been one heck of a first day.

This was the longest I have written in a while. I hope you enjoyed it though! It was fun figuring out a way to include my own twist to the first pokemon episode ever created. I have gotten over my writer's block and am back better than ever. I have created a poll on my profile for who to pair Ash with. Until next time though!
