Disclaimer: Uh… don't own Inuyasha D but I will one day

Summary: Sango-Miroku poem. Doesn't actually SAY their names, but I'm trying to see if anyone can get the meaning . Warning: sad

Heart to Heart

She continued to wait for him...

He never returned.

Forever she'd wait for him, he promised her

but she never learned.

His past was cloaked and his future uncertain

It never mattered.

He was her life, what kept her awake.

Waiting, waiting, waiting...

She cries herself to sleep with worry

Displaying, displaying...

though she knows now that fate had it's way

She's praying, praying, praying...

Come back to me...

His grave remains a mystery...

She never wanted to go.

But morality gave to mortality, she promised him

Time passing all too slow.

Her past was open her future clear

It never mattered.

She was his drive, what kept him sane.

Walking, walking, walking...

He doesn't sleep he knows she worries

Displaying, displaying...

He knows that fate will have it's way

He's praying, praying, praying...

Protect her...

Their combined lyric of sorrow

A barrier unbreached

Melancholy ballad of forgiving trials

Connections they can't reach

They couldn't manage to stay entwined

But... it never mattered.

They broke the rules, but there weren't any.

Conceiving, conceiving...

Gentle miasma mutes the worry

Caving, caving, caving...

Now that fate has had it's way

Sleeping, sleeping, sleeping.

I'm dreaming of you….
