Chapter 22: Explanations

The team stood there dumbfounded. They saw Sephiroth standing there. They hadn't even expected for him to get back up, but now he was up and alive. Not doing so well but alive nevertheless. Cloud jumped up and reached a chair. He then proceeded to lead the General over to it. Aeris prepared another healing wind spell and cast it at him again. Even though the spell was meant for Sephiroth, everyone in the room felt re-energized and ready to face whatever was coming their way.

After the spell was cast and Sephiroth caught his breath he looked up to Cloud and smiled. Cloud looked at him and then smack him in the back if his head. Sephiroth grimaced in pain.

"Ow…… you moron, what the hell was that for?" Sephiroth asked rubbing his head.

Cloud simply looked at him.

"That was for fainting and not waking up until four days after. I thought you were dead jackass!"

Sephiroth laughed lightly.

"Four days…wow, I guessed I used up more energy than I thought."

"And what was that all about….you really have some explaining to do. Cloud said.

Sephiroth looked around at the team and smiled.

"So you guys missed me right?"

Yuffie cut in.

"Annnnnnnnnny Way, Elder Tamari please join us for dinner so you can finish explaining yourself, you were rudely interrupted by a certain somebody" she said in mock anger.

Everyone laughed, including Sephiroth and they all headed down to the Dining Hall.

Later on at Dinner

The whole team was now restored to its full members and they were all seated around the dinner table with Elder Tamari. For dinner they had baked potatoes, all types of salads, steak, pork, baked, fried and stewed chicken, juice, soda, champagne, and many other things. Dinner was great overall but now it was time to get down to business. Elder Tamari had brought the book along and he was now poring over it and reading to them, the daily events of the life of an angel called Lanina.

"And exactly how long ago did Lanina write those entries, Elder?" Yuffie asked

"Well if my calculations are right I would say about a couple thousand years aback." He said

Yuffie was astonished. Sometimes she couldn't even remember what happened the day before for her to write in her own diary. And here was a diary of an Angel that recorded her daily life nearly 2000 years ago.

Vincent was the next to speak up.

"Where exactly is this Citadel Anga Dou Zock?"

Tamari thought for a moment.

"Well it is believed that there are different planes in the universe. It is said that our earth is the lowest plain and the city where the angles dwell is the highest. I am not to sure what is in between those two plains but it is said that once the angels leave their plain to come to earth they can never return to their city.

"Why would any Angel want to do that. Earth is not a nice place." Tifa remarked.

He looked towards her.

"That is true, but it has been done."

There is an ancient prophecy that tells of 2 warriors of Angel heritage and they must join with 2 fallen angels to be born to them.

"Fallen Angels?" Cloud asked.

"Yes. They are called fallen angels because they left their heavenly home and became earth dwellers." Replied the Elder.

"What about this Angasukatei thing-a-ma-jig? Barret asked

"Yes. This is the Ancient fighting stance of the Angels. Long ago there was a war on the highest plane. Dragons and demons and other fell creatures, invaded the highest plane. How they were able to get up there is still unknown, though some people believe that it was a fell angel that aided the invasion. There was a group of Angels called Brothers In Arms. They were similar to monks who had their own way of living. They perfected this Ancient fighting style and it was because of them that the war was won, though all of them died. It was also said that one of them had a son and had begun to train him in the mighty way of the Angasukatei, and that he spread his technique throughout the Angel City. How it has come to earth is anybody's guess and I would like to know how u my son, were able to access it", he said turning to Seph.

"To tell you the truth it comes to me anytime that I am angry, or fighting to protect something close to me. He said this and glanced at Aeris but looked away when she saw him. My master in swords told me about my strength and what I am capable of but he said that I must find my own path in life."

This chap aint alla dat good but yall was rushin me.
